We have had absolutely no help after paying $2700 to your company . We were told last dec that our 15 and 16 taxes were closed with zero balance owed. In April of this year got a notice from irs stating we owed $26.000. A “mistake” on your part. We have been sent from person to person on our case. Couldn’t get our original case worker to respond to our issues. A complete letdown. Now after nothing done since April we are having to pay $480 a month for who knows how long. Very upset and feel like we were taken advantage of after our initial payments were made. Nothing absolutely nothing was done to lessen our amount or even interest! We work hard for our money and expected your company to do the same to help us out.

I don't really have much good to say about TDN. I took on there service in March of 2018 to help with my huge tax problem to the tune of $30,000. I had to take out a $6000 loan to pay for TDN services. To make a long story short I paid $6000 to TDN to negotiate a payment plan to the IRS. This is something I could have done myself with the IRS. I hired TDN to negotiate my tax bill down to a affordable level. They didnt do it. I owed the IRS $30,000 dollars from the beginning and now due to hiring TDN I can add a additional 6k to my tax bill. Think twice before hiring these crooks. Thanks TDN for doing absolutely nothing

THE AGENTS THEY SENT ME TOO IN NJ HAVE BEEN SNOTTY ON THE PHONE. EMAILS SUCH AS "LETS GO, I NEED THIS INFORMATION" THEY REFILED MY TAX'S AND SENT THEM TO THE IRS AND THEN SETTLE A DEAL WITH THE IRS FOR MORE THAN THE 1040S THEY SENT IN TO THE IRS. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?? HOW AM I STILL PAYING THIS RIDICULOUS PLACE EVERY MONTH FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS. I ASKED OVER AND OVER TO BE REASSIGNED DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE NJ AGENT WAS NOT DOING WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. NOTHING HAPPENS. I am unhappy with my experience and have already shared this a few times with your company. You keep sending me a review also as if you didn't receive the others I sent. I was promised things and pushed hard to enter into an agreement with your office that would reduce my tax debt. No tax debt was reduced and you set up a plan that will undoubtedly fail in the near future. I am in more tax debt now and I'm out the $5000 you charged me as well. I do have a payment agreement set up with the IRS now but I had one before that I had set up with them that was much better. Now the payments that IRS are requiring are too high for me to possibly make.

I am so sorry I ever trusted these people to help me. Of course they got paid almost$4,000. up front so what's their hurry?!? December, 2018 is when I contacted them. Today is July 18, 2019. Still no resolution. I'm actually on hold right now with the IRS. I am tired of waiting, I'll talk to them myself. When this is resolved I will be calling the BBB. The last time I got an email from them it was for my 2018 1040. I faxed it to them months ago. I haven't heard a word since! Meanwhile I'm paying monthly payments for the loan they arranged for me so they'd be paid. I will always voice my experience with the tax defense network!

My initial impression was hopeful, but that soon died after my first consultation. The lady seemed confused and half asleep. I had no co guidance in her at all. She never answered calls or emails and was imposing legal to get in touch with. I sent her everything I had received from The IRS at my time and cost. Her first initial suggestion was to call and make voluntary payments. I though to myself, 2400 dollars and that's what I get. They assigned me a new tax expert and the final options that they gave me was the same as the original IRS documents I sent them. From what I see they copied it off of the document I sent them, just in a different format. So to sum it up, the worst decision of my life. Everything they told me I already knew. I have to say the o lytime they did contact me numerous times was when they were setting up their payment. I am definately going to speak with someone about their terrible service and what I believe to be a scam.

My experience with Tax Defense Network was horrible to say the least. Initially when they want your business they will call and email you every five minutes. Once they get your business and assign you a rep good luck getting a hold of that person. The person I dealt with is inexperienced, missed deadlines, I had to contact her to ask her if I needed to respond directly to letters because I hadn't heard from her and something was due the next day. Sent me documentation that belonged to someone else, wouldn't respond to text or emails until I contacted a supervisor . She always claimed to be sick, in court, on the phone with another client and also asked me to wait after tax season for her to answer my questions. Treated me like I was a burden. According to the contract I signed my issue was not resolved. You don't get credit for doing half the work and taking the whole payment. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save your money, make a payment towards your taxes or do your research and higher an attorney or reputable firm that will do what was stated in their contract. This company is SMOKE and MIRRORS!!! STAY AWAY!

The person who I was dealing with for two years got an upgraded job with the company and gave me to someone who does not return calls when they say they will and avoids me when I call her. I am a new client. At first workers were very professional. I received calls frequently almost on hourly basis. After I signed the papers and I entered into a loan agreement to pay for their services, no one calls me again. No one is asking me to submit documents that are tax related. I hope things will change for better. I want the company to look at the wordings in their response to complaints. The response is the same to every negative complaint. From the beginning they stated that they could assist and could also get the amount of taxes owed reduced and could get the penalties reduced or removed. In working with them for a year the ONLY thing that happened was they filed my taxes and during the year the IRS kept tacking on more and more penalties. In the end from the time the tax returns were submitted until my wife contacted the IRS agent herself it wound up costing us an additional $80K in penalties while the tax defense company kept telling us nothing. The only time we received ANY information was when we emailed and called over and over for a couple of weeks. You would finally get a return email or call regarding information that they had apparently been sitting on for a month or two but never sent it to us. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone and would HIGHLY recommend if you have tax issues deal with someone else.

I contacted Tax Defense Network and they were all very nice and very reassuring. I was told that they would start on my case and I would hear back from my assigned tax analyst that same day and was required to a payment the next day. I made the payment and future payments the next day as well as signed the required forms. I even called back the same day and the next day when I had not heard from my analyst. By the time I was able to actually talk to my analyst it was well beyond the 3 day cancellation period so I basically paid $650 for four phone calls. Had I been able to talk to my analyst earlier I would have cancelled within the allotted time period. I feel the reason for the short cancellation period is so that by the time you know if you really need their services it's already to late.

I previously (August, 2018) submitted a review outlining my dissatisfaction with Tax Defense Network. In a nutshell, they provided NO SERVICE beyond extending the due date for my taxes, as I had to pay EVERY CENT OWED, including penalties and interest. After filing my review, I was contacted by a representative and assured that my case would be looked into and some answers provided. After an email and a couple of phone calls, nothing. I was informed that the previous agent working with me was no longer with the company, but that my situation would be reviewed and perhaps I would be entitled to some sort of refund of part of the $6,500.00 it cost me to engage them. Obviously, NOTHING came of that promise. I have not been provided an answer on any of my concerns, but now it seems that I am receiving regular marketing solicitations from them promoting their services. I even tried to opt out of receiving those emails to no avail. Talk about adding insult to injury, try getting screwed by a company and then have them relentlessly try to solicit your business again!
