SolarMax Technology customers have access to an Enphase monitoring system called MyEnlighten. MyEnlighten provides users with verification of overall system health and performance at a glance. MyEnlighten also displays energy production by month, day, or hour and allows consumers to analyze performance against historical weather data.

Excellent Warranty

SolarMax Technology manufactures its own solar panels in California and stands by its product by offering a comprehensive warranty package. Every SolarMax solar package includes a 25-year workmanship warranty, a 25-year manufacturer's warranty on the inverter, and a 25-year manufacturer's warranty on the panels. The fact that SolarMax Technology provides all three of these warranties gives customers peace of mind that they will be fully covered in the event of an accident or malfunction.

In-House Team

SolarMax does not outsource any portion of its installations to third parties. The company's in-house consultants will sell you the panels and communicate with you throughout the entire process. The in-house designers and engineers will create a system that's customized specifically for your needs. Finally, SolarMax's in-house installation team will put the panels on your roof and get the system all ready to go.

Do not waste your time with this company, they have very poor communications from sales persons to company management, not clear with thier warranties offer and they are double of the price of what I was looking for , I have found a system better then what solar max offered for $20,000 less ,yes 20,000 less apple to apple I've got a system offers same kw hour per year for alot less, Sergio is the sale person guaranteed to match prices and never heard from him lol I wonder why!!!I've sent all the estimates copies to him as he requested and promised to get back to me after he get back with his mangers and have an answer withen one day now eight days later and he still not answering the phone or text messages. So I went ahead and signed up with Sungevite solar company. I advices anyone who sees this post to shop around and get planty of estimates and warranty is very important. Warranty should includes parts and labor and shipping, materials and roof from leaks be smart and stay away from solar max

The worst! hard pressure sale , told them no because I didn't want any out of pocket then they came back and said ok we can do it with no out of pocket. I said no ! again they said I would save so much on my energy bill the sales man became really friendly with us ( first name basis) told him I needed to talk to hubby so he wanted to talk to hubby to. Long story short they didn't put enough panels I was buying them so I still had a electric bill because I was not producing enough energy so I still needed to use the city for electrical. They put the panels on the wrong side of the house. after a year of back and forth I told them to pick them up they tried to sue me for 30k and I went to court told the judge the panels can be sold and used so the sued me for 8k for a rebate that I only received 6k ... RUN FAR FAST!!!!!!!

There is a reason why Solarmax systems are so cheap. They find the cheapest labor and send this unqualified cheap labor onto your roof. Remember that! The solar system I purchased a year ago is generating solar energy however the roof tiles that was broken by the incompetent labor crew cause a major water leak in my ceiling. And, Solarmax refused to take responsibility. My problem was just that.., my problem, not they're problem!

Mr. Hayward, I can understand your feelings about a roof leak and the inconvenience it has caused. However after careful investigation we have determined that the tile issue that may be causing your roof leak was not caused by SolarMax or its installers. When the Measurements team came out over a year and a half ago on 6/7/2018 they took photos of your roof and the tile was captured in those photos. At that time the photos show that a tile was already broken. On 6/28/2018 when the solar installation crew installed your solar panels, they also glued the broken tile as a courtesy to you. Photos were taken of all the work performed for quality assurance purposes. A year and a half later, this December 11, 2019 you contacted us regarding your roof leak. A team was sent out to inspect your roof and they examined, photographed and noted the broken tile that was identified in the Measurements study. This is probably where the roof leak is coming from. From our three sets of photos; before, during and after installation; is it clear that SolarMax did not damage that tile that may be causing the roof leak. Your cracked tile was a preexisting issue and the rook leak was not on the side of the roof the installation occurred and is therefore not covered under Warranty. You could check with your original roof installer to see if this issue is covered under their warranty and/or possibly file a claim with your home owners insurance to mitigate the costs of the water damage.

Was anxious to purchase their system. Had credit check run only to find out their initial layout was inadequate and would not provide anywhere close to the maximum energy output. Did not do their homework during their initial assessment. Cancelled my contract!

We have had our solar for 5-8 years. are bill has never been lower than $150 ever and that’s the good side! Last month $550 this month $439! What’s going on???????
