Was told when purchasing ion that we were getting a 7,000 tax back. Wrong! My tax preparer said the same was said to her. She corrected them. I had so much wrong when I received ion. I would never recommend you all. The process and the sale tactics are false advertising. People have told me to do something about it. I just want to pay my bill and be left alone!

Signed up in October, was all set for installation and up and running by first of December. Install was done late December, but the inspection failed, was not installed per the drawings, all kinds of excuses, a label and a circuit breaker was not per the permit or drawings. Here we are middle of March and up against the first payment due, and the catch up bill from NV Energy. I had to do all the call ins. No one called me, then I get relegated to texts, not even a courtesy phone call. Worst possible service after the great sales rep.

I am not happy at all. When I sign up I was told I was going to get a refund money $11500 that I could put it towards the loan to reduce the payment and WAS NOT TRUE Also I keep on getting a bill from Dominion Power for almost 200 a month exactly 160ish ???? So how is that having the solar panels is going g to benefit me at all I'm very very disappointed

If I could give this experience a zero, I would. There were several instances where I was told one thing and it didn’t happen. I still have yet to receive the energy efficient light bulbs and 2 thermostats. I was verbally told about $500 incentive but since it wasn’t put into my contract, it didn’t mean anything. It took almost 5 months to get everything done. I’m truly ready to be done with ION Solar.

it took over 5 months from the time of signing my contract to have my system up and running. It would have been even longer had i not continued to call and check on the progress. ION has the worst customer service, or at least i received the worst customer service. I was lied to by the various employees along the way, but always received a SORRY and a good excuse to how the situation occurred not once a resolution. I had 4-5 different events occur with no help from ION staff.

Our inspection has been rescheduled 4 times now, and we still haven’t been able to get it inspected and approved. We are already paying the loan now, effectively doubling our cost rather than replacing it. Very disappointing.

It wouldn't let me submit with zero stars...About the biggest waste of time I spent all last year. Lie after lie. They told me there would be no problem getting on the grid that there was space. They were going to charge me 20K more than two other companies. The other two companies I received quotes from informed me within days that there was no room on the grid. ion solar took well over a month. No apologies, nothing.

Wish I would of never answered the door. They are very un organized and don't communicate. They didn't make the dates for construction so they had to re run my credit without my consent. They used a sub contractor for electrical work to my house that did a very poor job left a 1/2" gap in my siding and electrical panel. Then the worked opened my back door and almost got bit by my dog. Just all around a very new company with not a control at all. I was not impressed at all. I work in communications and as a manager I would never run my company the way they did.

We had panels installed October 3, 2022 and they are just expensive roof ornaments. They look nice but beyond that have been nothing but a disappointment. We were told it would take about 6 weeks to get them up and running. Three project managers and 5 months later we are paying a loan on a non-functioning solar system with no end date in sight. We would absolutely recommend ION to anyone who would like to appear as though they have solar but don’t actually expect it to be functional.

They said we were getting enough panels to cover 120% of our projected energy use but it is not even covering 80%. They said we would get a smart thermostat and light bulbs but that has not happened either. 4 months in to having the panels they stopped reporting/working and can not get ahold of anybody to come fix them. Have tried contacting by text, phone, and email but do not get a response and the emails bounce back. It took longer then 2 months to get it fully installed and then there were two failed inspections before it was approved.

Since last June...making monthly payments... every time I try to contact find out that person has moved on. Empty and pathetic texts about how great everything is and yet never once a true person to person phone call? Rep came by months ago ( Von ) and pointed at my meter to say..". see it's moving...your collecting energy" Told that I would never be out of power even if there was a power outage? All that and to this day February 2023 still don't know if the 30 thousand dollar bill I got is anything more than a giant chunk of metal on my roof? Shameful customer service

How long did it take from the time you signed the contract to the time your system was fully installed? 4 months! I feel scammed because my energy bill is lower this year than last year and now I'm about to start paying double what my energy bill is for the solar panels. Customer service is not very good, I can't ever find the right person to call. My sales person completely dropped me, and I have no idea who my point of contact is. I have to call a million different people to do one thing. Overall would not recommend getting solar panels unless your energy bill is enormous. Huge scam.

Caused me to miss 3 days of work and it’s been a year since they started still haven’t got my panels done. No communication between departments. At this point I just want there junk off my house! It took way over 2 months for full instalation. Installers and electricians had to come out 4 times. I just paid $210 to Core electric and the pay ION solar $95. I'm paying more now then I did before I got solar. Oh and by the way I never received my final package with led light bulbs. Last part not a big deal but don't tell people that they will get something and never send it. I will not be recommending ION solar.

This was the worst experience ever. I would never recommend Ion Solar to perform a service. It took more than 6 months to get installed. I was paying payment long before the completion. I also had to make calls to get stuff moving for each stage of the way. This was not worth my headache and certainly not my money. I so wish I could get the system removed. I and still waiting for my first sign of even having solar panels on the roof.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the Plague! Terrible communication, installers are kind but don’t know how to install, they failed 4 inspections for not wiring correct. Even though they finallly passed the terminations are still not the way they should be. Started the process on March and wasn’t finished until middle November. But the saving they tell you about are lies as well. My bill went down only 20 bucks! Overpriced, terrible customer service and system doesn’t deliver what is expected

I have ION solar since July with the promise of saving money through solar. The sales representative was great but once solar was installed and we have multiple problems with the power they are hard to get a hold of and takes so long for them to come and check the issues. Since July to now Oct we are still paying our local electric bill and paying ION for the solar. Be careful with this company they are very deceiving, now IM stuck with paying ION for a useless solar panel 👎👎👎

These people absolutely suck My solar panel did not generate for a cumulative time of two months Why because a stupid fuse keep blowing on a panel that doesn’t need fuses to begin with There so call warranty was to have me sign an internet contract to pay for a technician which by the way came by unannounced changed 1 out of 2 fuse which promptly failed a day later I changed 2 fused and i am still up and running as of now Stay away from them

Ion Solar sucks they lie they never get your system going it’s been seven months in our system is not even going we’re still paying Excel and solar panels that aren’t working I’m so sick of them that I’m going to file a lawsuit against them and I’m gonna get our money back and get our panels taken off do not go with Ion solar They will take all your money and suck you dry they come to your door and Sucker you in . And you can sell anything to my husband just come to our door 😡
