Equipment Collaborations

The Florida Coast can experience some adverse weather conditions. This is often a concern for prospective solar clients as they do not want to install solar panels that will be damaged and unable to provide energy to the property.

Brilliant Harvest has partnered with Tier-1 equipment partners to provide the highest level of solar equipment to clients. The equipment can withstand poor weather conditions and will maintain its efficiency rating. 

Financing Options

Brilliant Harvest offers financing options to both residential homeowners and commercial customers. There are three different financing forms for both residential and commercial systems and the plans break down as follows:

Purchase: The solar system and the energy it produces is owned outright.

• Customers purchase the Brilliant Harvest solar power system directly and upfront
• A home equity loan can be used and may even qualify for tax deductions
• Keep any solar tax credits like the 26% federal tax credit and any other eligible incentives
• The system will pay for itself over time as the power bill savings will ultimately exceed the cost of the solar system

Loan: Own the solar system and pay for it with a loan.

• Take advantage of numerous loan payment terms and conditions
• Keep any solar tax credits like the 26% federal tax cred and any other available incentives
• For most customers savings on electric bills exceed the monthly loan payment, still saving money

PACE: The PACE program offers financing.

• Own the solar system and financing is repaid through the property tax assessment
• Keep the 26% federal tax credit or use it to pay down the balance of the loan
• PACE eligibility is relatively easy and allows customers to fund the entire cost of the project with no down payment

While many solar companies will offer financing options, not many will offer three different plans for both home and business owners. This sets the financing options provided by Brilliant Harvest apart from the rest of the solar industry. 

Certified Installers

Not every solar company is granted installation rights of certain brands. Brilliant Solar is a certified installer of two different Tier-1 solar manufacturers. First, Brilliant Solar is a Lumos LSX certified installer, meaning Brilliant Harvest customers will receive installation services from a company that is well-trained and knows the ins and outs of the operating system. Additionally, Brilliant Harvest is a certified installer of the Tesla Powerwall, the latest in solar storage technology and power. Becoming a certified installer for both brands is an impressive feat.

Trusted Vendor

A number of federal and state energy organizations are dedicated to bringing clean energy to home and business owners throughout the country. These organizations look for solar providers that are helping these causes. Brilliant Harvest has proven to provide a high quality of service to customers and has been named to a number of councils and partnerships.

These associations include the FIASEIA which is the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (state organization), the U.S. Green Building Council which is a national organization, and the Sarasota County Green Business partnership (a county initiative). Being a part of these organizations means that the Brilliant Harvest service offerings really do align with clean energy initiatives.

Limited Service Area

Brilliant Harvest has helped residential and commercial properties reap the benefits of solar energy for years now. The company currently operates in the following counties on the Florida coast: Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Pete, Venice, North Port, Palmetto, Ellenton, and Port Charlotte.

Outside of these counties, prospective solar customers will need to look elsewhere for solar installation services. While many solar companies have a relative limited service area, most will at least cover the entire state the offices are headquartered in. That is not the case with Brilliant Harvest.

Undisclosed Warranty Information

Typically, solar installation companies provide customers with two types of warranties: workmanship and equipment. The industry average workmanship warranty sits around 10 years and equipment warranties are traditionally 25 years. Brilliant Harvest provides no information on either a workmanship or equipment warranty. That is not saying the company does not provide these warranties to customers, but there is no public information about them.
