The solar panels work great as expected. We love that. The installation did NOT go smoothly. The installers damaged our property (which ADT reimbursed us for). They called on the day before installation while we were driving almost 1,000 miles to be present and told us they would need to reschedule because they couldn't find a lift! Only after we called and found a lift for them did they decide to install that week. But even then the didn't show up on the day they said they would and it took 4 days not 2 days to install. Additionally, it took several months to get the scheduled install date. The sales people kept telling us it was the utility companies fault. That was not true. After significant time and investigation I discovered it was ADT that was not providing the correct information and completed paperwork to the utility company. Take ownership and admit your mistakes so we can all work together to get them corrected instead of being misleading and keeping customers in the dark. That being said, and we were very frustrated, the bottom line is in the end we did get what we believe to be a good product that works well. So, we will be recommending ADT Solar in the future. In fact, we are currently talking with ADT Solar about installation at another property. We hope the installation process goes smoother!

Promises were made when I joined the program. I joined when the buyers refund was $3000.00 dollars and on top of thT it would be just a month or two to get the build permits, but it took 8 months and when they came to install there was no electrical with the crew. The Electrician came a weekend later and then did not finish. Another couple of months went by and I had to complain to get the electrician to come back and connect the panels to the box in my garage. I ended up paying two months on the equipment through goodleap.I still to date have not receive the refund of $3000.00 and I have called several times to speak to Kimberly of accounting and she has never returned any of my voicemails.

Initially we were, honestly, very impressed. The speed of information we received and the knowledge presented by the sales rep really floored us. Same thing with the install. Quick, hassle free, and surprisingly sooner than we expected. Then we were handed off to another rep who compared to the first service we received was lacking in many areas. We had to constantly be contacting her about the process and status of our progress and didn't seem to have the knowledge to help, seek help or further the process in a timely manner. The middle and end stages were bad. Period. We felt frustrated and wished we had received better guidance and assistance from Francesca our rep. I had to have a stern conversation with her after months and months and months of stagnant progress on finalizing our complete install. It was only after we demonstrated our frustration that she actually acted and got things moving. It should not have to come to this point and it disappoints us that it did. We now have our system fully operational but are having an issue with the App displaying crucial information about usage. As usual, we are awaiting a resolution from Francesca. We are on day 5 of the waiting game. We're not holding our breath.

SunPro seems to do things extremely well right up until after things are installed and "working," which I'll come back to. The salesman was excellent, as was the staff with which I communicated prior to the install. There was a mix up with the install date by a single day, but that's about as minor as things come and it was sorted out quickly. The installers themselves were knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure the install itself looked clean and professional. Once everything was installed, there was a problem with the battery that took a little longer than I would have hoped (17 days) where neither our battery nor our app worked. I had to call a few times to get the app to work; the wrong house was assigned to my account, so I could see someone else's data but not mine. The battery apparently just needed to be turned on, but that wasn't communicated to me so some unfortunate workers had to drive to my house to flip a switch instead of just having me do it. Overall, none of those issues are that big of a deal. The worst part is the fact that my system continues to fail as if the grid goes down, but only the SunPro installed circuit goes down, and I still have power from the non-backed-up grid circuits. It's very obvious that there is something wrong with one of the boxes installed by SunPro at this point as it's happened multiple times. I have tried to get SunPro to fix this problem for 3 weeks and 3 phone calls now to no avail. I kept being told "someone will call you" but that never happened until the day I asked to guarantee I'd have something scheduled that day. I finally got them to send someone out after the customer service person questioned me over and over because they clearly didn't believe me when I explained the problem. The electrician who came out to check did not know how to resolve the issue (said he had never seen it before) and said they'd have to reschedule, but it hasn't been rescheduled. I've received more emails asking me to rate SunPro than the zero emails I have received asking if my issue was resolved and if not, what steps could be taken to do so. I'm to the point where I wish I could return the system and be free from my loan, which is disappointing because I was very excited to get the system installed. SunPro would be 4.5/5 or higher if I wasn't having this issue, but right now they're just not taking care of this issue which is causing me and my family concern about the state of the electrical equipment attached to my house.

We've had problems with our end face system. They came out to change the motherboard, but we haven't gotten our credits back from the time it wasn't connected to the server. We also had some problems with the inverters not connecting to the system. The installation was smooth and it was probably one of the best experiences I've had with contractors coming to my house. We haven't gotten confirmation of how much energy was produced on the bill yet. This company is very forthcoming. Sometimes, it's hard to get a hold of someone when you call, but whenever you get someone they are very helpful and give us lots of information.

The project was supposed to be completed months ago but we had problems that weren’t resolved until this week. They did compensate us for some of the payments, which was nice. It would have been nicer if it was done when it was supposed to be done. I am satisfied with the job they did. Though some of the wiring was wrong in the inspection so that had to be corrected. The salesman was fantastic. She did a great job.

So far is performing as expected. The sales lady made me aware they are the number 2 company in the US and they told me about the quality and shower my pictures. It was installed quicker than I expected. They did a good job. It was a better part of the whole experience. I don’t always hear back from customer service but usually after two calls they get me an answer.

Their equipment is pretty good. My system's been down now for three days. I've called them a couple times, this is seems like I call them once a week having to come out and take them weeks before they get out here and they still didn't got it working. I paid for fifty panels and I've only got seventeen of them aren't working most of the time. The installation process went fine. They're not providing very much support at all, my system is down more than it's up.

The communication after our install was not good. We thought our panels were on and they were not. No one told us we had to wait for permission to turn them on. I found out when I called asking about an app to monitor our panels which they also did not tell us about until after I called. Also it took over three months to get the panels installed when we were told a few weeks.

They say it will be fixed in a software rollout in the next few weeks, but they have already been out for several weeks & still aren't fixed. I was going to wait & see if they released the update to correct the solar panels before rating them, but since I keep getting the notices to rate them & they are not fixed yet, I provided a rating based on the current situation.

Because not everything our salesman said is true. The first four months was over $100. Was supposed to be under $20. Now we're told that solar will only cut our bills by 50%. Still have not received the $3000 for the electric company nor $1000 to be sent to us.

I was initially impressed with SunPro. The sales rep was up front and honest, and the installation crew was on time and professional. Since the installation I have received an error message on my phone app. I reported it upline and have since been in a holding pattern. I reached out to the account manager with a request concerning a cancellation fee from my old electric provider on 31 Dec. He replied back on 5 Jan that the request was submitted and that I was still pending a final inspection. I thought that everything had been completed and asked him about the inspection and also if he could provide me feedback concerning the error message. On 6 Jan I received his reply that everything was still pending. I reached out again on 17 Jan via email and haven't received a response back as yet, so I called and left him a message. Service after the sale goes a long way...a simple response to an email without being badgered would go a long way. It would also establish more trust in any response received. Time will tell on wither I'll be a satisfied customer, but one thing is for certain, I won't be advertising very strongly for future business with friends or family.

JOSEPH F WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH, EMPHASE EQUIPMENT IS DOING EVERYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED. THEIR REFERRAL SYSTEM IS QUESTIONABLE.. I REFERRED TWO DIFFERENT FRIENDS AND RECEIVED MONIES FROM THE SECOND. THE FIRST IS ACROSS FROM MY HOME, ADT SOLAR SAYS SOMEONE ELSE REFFERED THEM..THE SALESMAN GOT THE SALE ON THE DAY OF MY INSTALL. SO WHAT WOULD YOU THINK

The ONLY reason we give ADT Solar 3 stars instead of 2 is the response and follow through demonstrated by Roland L, Virtual Sales Solution Specialist. Roland reached out to us, listened to us, and did what he said he'd do in a timely fashhion. The two technicians that came for an "eyes-on " evaluation also seemed professional. Other than those 3 people (a total of 3 interactions over a 6-month period), working ADT Solar was not satisfactory.
