The Hopper 3, DISH’s award-winning Whole-Home HD DVR and secondary receivers allow customers to watch TV in any room in the house. Users can start watching a show in the living room and when they get tired can pause and resume the show once they’re in bed. Customers can also say goodbye to recording conflicts as DISH lets customers record 16 programs at once. Perhaps one of the most unique features from the Hopper 3 is the ability to watch four channels at once.
For customers with more than 2-3 TV’s in their home, DISH offers a small but powerful complimentary receiver, Joey. A Joey connects multiple TV’s in the home with the Hopper to help create what DISH calls a “whole-home entertainment experience.” The Joey has all the same benefits as the Hopper and can either be wired or wireless.
*All offers require credit qualification, 24-month commitment with early termination fee and eAutoPay. Prices include Hopper Duo for qualifying customers. The Hopper, Hopper with Sling or Hopper 3 is $5 per month or more. Upfront fees may apply based on your credit qualification

While DISH does not offer NFL Sunday Ticket, customers can get the Multi-Sports Pack which includes the NFL Network and the NFL RedZone.
As many customers have noticed, a satellite dish is affected by the weather. Storms, clouds, and snow will all mess with the TV signal. While this isn’t a problem for cable TV, DISH customers should be prepared to deal with this. However, customers can still watch their DVR recordings during short-term outages.
Customers who want all the bells and whistles from their TV provider should definitely look into DISH. The company offers reasonably priced TV packages — each with a great channel lineup and a 2-year price guarantee — 24/7 live and award-winning customer service, the industry’s most advanced DVR system, and the ability to watch and record shows on a mobile device with the app. As far as getting your money’s worth with DISH there are plenty of options.
Customers should be aware of all DISH’s current network fees. However, the company is transparent about all its fees and customers can easily find them on the website.
DISH doesn't offer NFL Sunday Ticket. However, if this isn’t a deal-breaker, then DISH is an excellent choice.
We recommend customers call or visit the site to see what offers and promotions DISH has to offer.

Customer service is not the best . I talked to a supervisor and still the same results complaining about them shutting my service off early and it was paid for my fox channel has been cancelled and they tell me I get 3 dollar credit ,no that’s a breech of our contract (Customer Service) it was never in your contract ...so as a customer if we cancel we get penalized, But if they cancel it’s ok.
Im writing review about Dish Go. BEWARE !!! They offer gift cards if you get cable , wifi, and home phone and then cheat you out of them. When you ask to speak to supervisor they get rude and say you cant. One will contact you in 48 hours. Seriously there is no supervisor where they work. 48 Hours. Are they getting that many complaints it takes 48 hours to get back to you. Well i havent heard from them yet. Trying to go threw corporate in colorado as of now. Never choose dish go. Sorry bunch of people if you ask me. If you want Dish service go directly to Dish and by pass the liers at dish go
I've used vairous satellite companies, but Dish was my favorite because I didn't have any problems and they were the best priced!
Service was great just don't like the equipment mounted to the house and issues when it would snow it wouldn't work.
Dish is decent for TV service. The tv interface is still pretty outdated looking. Chanel and price wise you get more for your money i think with dish. Unfortunately it is more price friendly to have streaming services these days than regular tv.
Over priced, additionally cable tv is chalk full of advertisements and setup and cancel services are a nightmare.
"universal" remotes operate functions on tv but the navigation arrows dont work. Absolutely pathetic design. How does it operate tv functions but wont scroll through the options? Very POOR design. As a matter-of-fact its the dumbest thing I have ever experienced with any technology . Please stop calling them universal if they arent.
Dish performed a system upgrade mid 2017. This system upgrade rendered my cable boxes (leased equipment mind you) inoperable. After 6 months of weekly calls dish sent a tech out. The tech was at my home for 5 minutes, laughed and said "You need all new equipment because of our system upgrades." I said ok let's make it happen. The new equipment fixed my inoperable service and they gave me 3 months worth of bill credit for all the inconvenience. All was good. Fast forward a year. Tonight I called Dish to cancel not renew my service at the end of my contract on 12/9/18. The customer service member out of Tulsa tells me I have a year left on my contract... What do you mean I have a year left?!?! Apparently when Dish replaced THEIR faulty equipment (that they charges me $20 a month for) they renewed my contract. So I just got hit with a $240 disconnect fee. At the end of my ordeal tonight the supervisor in Tulsa asked if there was anything else they could do. Dish, I request you use lube next time! Stay away from these shysters!!!
We have had Dish Outdoors for about 3 years. In July we re-activated for 2 months while on the road. We paid extra for "local" channels. When we tuned in, 3 local channels were not available. These are the ones we were interested in, not the other supposedly "local" channels provided. I complained. The Dish rep I chatted with did not know about the month-to-month plan and said that there would be no rebate because my service was disconnected and signed off. I found out that the dispute with Meredith Corp and Fox PRE-DATED our sign-up for local channels. Dish sold it anyway. Complaints to the FCC and the AZ Atty General produced a snotty phone call from the Dish head office. Head office guy said that Dish could not guarantee that a subscriber would get what they paid for because Dish may not be able to get a channel. HUH? He went on to suggest that I should have asked what "local" channels I would get before agreeing to pay for them. CONCLUSION: DISH CUSTOMERS ARE EXPECTED TO PROVIDE QUALITY OF SERVICE CONTROL FOR DISH! Watch them closely.
We used Dish for changed because their quality was unreliable. Additionally, they raised prices fairly regularly which was discouraging. Customer service was "okay" but nothing noteworthy.
I used Dish one year and ended up taking down their equipment and going with a different company. We had a lot of days when we could not get service.
Both Dish and Direct are beyond corrupted. My Dish cable just stopped working one day. I did nothing to cause it. But just as with Direct TV, they want to charge like $90 or more to send a tech to your house to fix THEIR equipment. Of course you could simply pay $10/mo. so you'd pay nothing for a tech. I just want a deal where I pay a monthly fee, duh, and they provide me with the service. yeah, if I break it, I buy it, otherwise it should be THEIR responsibility. We have a contract. When I had Direct, both my remotes stopped working and they wanted ME to buy new ones for $25/ea. Again, I did nothing wrong.
Dish charges way too much for way too little. The channel selection is very small and not worth the amount they charge.
I love DISH Network and the channels they provide, I will be a life long customer.
Only have Dish for 7 days and in 8 more days they are going to charge me for a whole month of service..... when I called, they said this is how it is ! What a terrible mistake I have done, already hate them.
It's ok, but it doesn't have a lot on demand. The voice remote is fine, but it doesn't seem to work as well as Comcast. Depending on what you get, it can get costly too.
We had a great experience with dish but switched over to comcast because they offered a bundle package where we could combine our internet and cable TV. It was cheaper than dish. Overall the customer service was great and it as easy to use.
Too expensive and many of the channels I don't even want. But to get a few channels I have to upgrade to see them. I need to upgrade my hardware as it is outdated but it will be hard to redo my system.
Just cancelled my service after 2 months of service. I prefer to pay the required $476 fee than to do business with a dishonest business. Dish Network sent me a mailer offering a $100 dollar Visa card to become a new customer. They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks for me to get the card. After talking to them two months later, their management called me a liar. They said that the offer had expired and I was not telling them the truth. They are a business that does false advertisement to get customers. This experience has been horrible and distressful to me and my family. Today is November 21, 2019 one week before Thanksgiving. Hope they can enjoy stealing our money. We will never do business with them again.
I have been a dish network customer for 20 years but since july dish network kicked fox regional sports networks off their service and yet they do not care about their customers at all i keep demanding them to bring back the channel but all they are saying is fox regional is to blame for blackout stay away from this company as they lie to their customers so a deal would not be made if you want fox regional go to directv spectrum or hulu but stay away from those dish network clowns
Dish in my opinion has the best technology but like almost all other providers, after their promotional rates expire, you pay way too much.
I like dish because they offer a lot of different sport channel options for people who have out of town sports fandoms!
Terrible company, we have been loyal customer for over 15 years. Paid our bill on time, never late. Tried to cancel they told me that they would pause my service, call back in 3 months so I did 3 months later. They said, you are such a loyal customer we will wave the charges and put it on pause. Then I get a bill, 164.00 They had reconnected our service and they discontinued it for lack of payment. I said, I never, never, recieved any notice asked them what the mailing address was. They said, the correct one. But said, it was returned for 3 months straight. So then I asked if they had tried to call or get a hold of me another way. Johanna said, well that is not our job, that is the job of the collection department. There is nothing I can do for you... TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service. I will also put this on all my social media, facebook, twitter, instagram etc. I will let as many people I can know not to use Dish Network fraudulent, lying people.
Have loved Dish in the past--- loved to be able to take TV with me. nuy got too expensive
Worst TV provider I have every had. Many channels are blacked out because of contract issues with channel providers. Missed the better part of the Atlanta Braves baseball season because of contract disputes. Seems to happen every year or so with this service on numerous channels. Remote and guide interface are difficult and convoluted. Service is unreliable not to mention satellite goes out with weather. Terrible customer service.
My parents are senior citizens recently bought a new tv with hd all the bells and whistles last yr they upgraded dish reciever its hd and all that but they didnt change the dish itself its not capable of this WHY what a con my father called yest to get the dish changed and dish network said only if you agree to a 2yr contract WHAT it should have been installed with the new reciever a yr ago you guys are crooked as can be i have told many friends and family there done with dish wtg guys you jumped right on board with the rotten companies out to screw seniors over awsome
They are the WORST COMPANY to get service through. They are super scandalous! We asked for a 12-month contract they put us in a 24 month contract. We called to cancel our service because we were not happy with it and they keep trying to charge the credit card that we first had to set up the service that we were required to provide called numerous of times they won't do nothing about it.
Dish. Poor reception. Plays same movies over and over. DO NOT allow access for payment from your credit card. When you call to cancel coverage the wait is over an hour. We cancelled coverage and three months later they still continued to draft payments and increase payments. Dish phone service told me I got the bad seed employee didn't do the job properly to cancel. I had the employee name and number. They would not refund. Thankfully, we have fast speed internet now with endless viewing options thru prime video, hulu etc. Would give a zero star if I could.
Dish is very reliable and dependable no other cable network can compete
lowest priced provider in area. Sometimes lose stations due to heavy storms, but otherwise reliable service.
I JUST TALKED WITH NAT, I3U, AND WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT A SPECIAL PERSON HE IS. HE IS AN ASSET TO YOUR COMPANY! HE HAD SO MUCH PATIENCE WITH ME AND HELPED ME TO CONTINUE TO BE SO HAPPY WITH OUR DISH SERVICE PLEASE REWARD HIM FOR HIS GREAT SERVICE.!
I called to get dish service and was told I was approved at a high rate(not sure exactly what that meant). I was told I needed a credit card to finish everything up. I did not have a credit card on me at that point. I told them I could call back in the next day. I was then told by a manager if I called back in the next day I may not get the same approval rate. She asked to if I had a home depot card or if I could call someone to use their card. I said I would call back the next day. She again said I may not get the same approval look level. I said it would change in 24 hours she said it happens all the time. Felt very pressured seemed like she was desperate and would do whatever to get me signed on that night. Needless to say after that I did not call back
I made an appointment with Dish Network to reinstall my connection after their partner HughesNet cut it and then failed to deliver the high-speed Internet it had promised (that's another story). At any rate, Dish never showed, and then said they had no record of the appointment I definitely made. My advice -- after making an appointment with Dish, call them several times to confirm that they do in fact plan to honor the appointment. Terrible company, terrible customer service.
We had Dish for years before we moved out of state. We rarely had problems with connection and loved the options available.
Over priced for the channels that are left. Customer service was horrible. I called to cancel and was told the final price/amount I would have to pay was $72.07. I asked to make sure that was it and that I would have no other charges after that. Well 2 weeks later I get a charge for $32.48. I call and find out that I have to pay to return THEIR equipment. I was NOT told about this fee when I cancelled. I called and thru his broken English he informed me of what the charge was. So I am not able to access my account to take my billing info off or anything yet they can still take money from my bank account. Make sure before you cancel you take your info off of the account. Such a scam. I am disgusted with this company and would NEVER recommend it to anyone. Bad enough you lose channels all the time but they will screw you over.
If I was able to give less than one star i would. The worse service ive had in 50 years plus Terrible customer service on top of installing they had to make 3 attempts to get it moved from back yard to roof to make it work. Fades inout first drop of rain. There reply wants us to send a teck back out ? Like no big deal @ 60.00 month
They are liars and cheats! They will tell you one thing and do another.
I have been a Dish customer not by choice but a man wandering in my neighborhood showed up at my door after walking the neighborhood scanning each home’s rooftops. We bought the sales pitch and began with a $75.00 programming package after years and years with DirectTV. Well the first few years was great, then began contract problems with HBO, then the rooms with Joeys would disconnect at the climax of any good movie, show, or sports event. I get more 1303 error messages than television. I ignorantly attempted to try out the Multi-sport package and for one month it was a dismal failure of blackouts for my area, “tune to your SD” channel” messages, and absolutely no real sports programming AT ALL. All of the lost channels, broken promises, and increased prices everyone writes on this forum IS the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. One thing is certain: DISH NETWORK will debit your checking account without fail. As for delivering what they advertise, well you might as well buy The Brooklyn bridge because you don’t get what you pay for. Every time a channel is lost they create the CEO video and website stating they’re working on negotiations. Ha ha, been there and done that same ole’ same ole’. The FCC has got us all in a chokehold with these TV and satellite providers. I don’t even want to address customer service because life is too short to deal with incompetent people. Just read the fine print!! And watch your checking account to avoid the ripoff. Give me rabbit ears and an old TV any day.
I'm a big fan of the cool technology Dish comes up with. I remember when the Hopper came out, that was awesome!
I liked how it was sooooo easy to record shows! Just the click of one button!! It was also easy enough to figure out that babysitters could get it all working without anyone having to explain the tv like it was rocketscience.
There were times when we would lose service with dish network and the satellite would have to reboot which took a long time. For the money we were paying I felt like we should have had better service.
Although it has a lot of channels, dish's product quality is not very good. The style of the company is unappealing, and it feels cheap, but it's a low price so I can't argue there.
Dish is a great company to work with for cable television! I 100% recommend them!
Dish has a large selection of channels and high quality service, however it’s high price may not be worth it unless one is inclined to watch the local news, network Tv, and a high number of sporting events, if not, it is not a good investment
Had dish all growing up and enjoy it more than directTV. Clean design to channel surfing and reliable!
I was with dish 17 years and until recently I was ok with them. However due to the loss of the Fox channels my TV usage was very limited. I attempted to call but was on hold for over an hour before I gave up. Tried to chat but was number 180. Got to 72 and another hour wasted. Tried to cancel on line but it wouldn't let me. An hour and half on the phone and I finally got through. Told the individual I was talking to I wanted to cancel and he responded with, ok you don't have to return the equipment as it is obsolete. Take it to your nearest recycling place or dispose of it. To dispose of it would cost $20.00 foreach receiver. I have been paying monthly for receivers that they themselves say aren't worth keeping. Kind of ironic. Dish, I quote, " We won't send you a return label" because they don't even want there own equipment back! Instead they are going to dump it back on their customers to take care of it. Why would anyone want to support a company that doesn't want to support you? I would not recommend Dish to anyone!
I have been a customer of Dish Network for over 20 years. I have always been pleased with their selection of channels and their customer service.
I have been a customer for more than a decade. The service is always consistent. Not inexpensive and use it less with all of the streaming options. Mostly use for live sports.
1) 75 minute installation window is false advertising. Mine was supposed to be an A.M. installation but they changed it all day, the guys ended up showing up around 5pm. 2) Signed a 2 year contract, then just a couple weeks later, they removed Fox and FS1, 2 MAJOR channels with sports fans in the house. 3) 45 minute wait on hold for customer service in off peak hours. Good service otherwise and decent price. I would try DirectTV instead if I could do it again.
I have been a dishnetwork user for 20 plus years and recently they forced the use of the google assistant for voice search use with out customer choice. Before this I would have totally said that dish is by for the best satellite company but since I do not have nor want the google assistant in my home and so I am starting to look for a new provider
