Their price was a little better than Direct TV when we first signed up with them. Now the price has crept up and is about the same as Direct TV. We hate it that we can no longer get channel 7. We like that news program. C'mon already!

Have had Dish Network since 2015. Great customer service and selection of channels and their hoppers can store a lot of recorded shows. The only 2 problems I have is that the satellite goes down in inclement weather, and their prices are expensive.

I've had Dish service for 14 years and have never been tempted to switch. Great customer service. Good coverage, even with all the streaming that is available now, I still keep Dish service

I had dish for about two years. The simplicity but features of their equipment was nice. When I upgraded to the Hopper 3, it was so much nicer and faster then the old machine and the user interface was easier to use.

we have had Dish for a long time, great and amazing channel selection and service. Biggest issue I have had with them is after your 2 years with Dish they absolutely price gouge you. I would never do anything other than Dish if it was a little more affordable and maybe offer custom packages.

Real rating is 3.5. We have had Dish for over a decade. It is pretty reliable for the most part. Recently we have experienced more outages and the price is now way too expensive. Trying to convince myself to cut the cord but have too many movies saved on my dvr. Customer service is rarely helpful other than telling you to unplug for 10 seconds and plug back in.

Dish is decent for TV service. The tv interface is still pretty outdated looking. Chanel and price wise you get more for your money i think with dish. Unfortunately it is more price friendly to have streaming services these days than regular tv.

We had a great experience with dish but switched over to comcast because they offered a bundle package where we could combine our internet and cable TV. It was cheaper than dish. Overall the customer service was great and it as easy to use.

I liked how it was sooooo easy to record shows! Just the click of one button!! It was also easy enough to figure out that babysitters could get it all working without anyone having to explain the tv like it was rocketscience.

We have had DISH TV for about six years. There are many things I like about the company, but also a few concerns. I like their Customer Service, I like their DVR format, and I like that we can use Dish Anywhere (such a deal!). I don't like that the price keeps going up (higher than teaser rates for new customers), and that I sometimes get varying instructions when I call for technical help. We love DISH but are seriously considering changing because of the price.

I didn't like how it didn't have a lot of space on the DVR. I didn't like how it was hard to record more than one show at a time. I really liked how the remote had a skip forward 30 seconds button and a skip back 30 seconds button, it was a really nice feature.

I had dish network while I was at school and I was pleased overall. It’s not the best in terms of channel selection or quality but I feel like you get what you’re paying for. It was cheaper than most providers so that is a plus.

DISH provides great Cable packages for people signing up for the business. The do charge more after the initial contract, but we usually call them and let them know we would like to keep the same price, and they cut us a deal.

I had DISH as our TV provider prior to switching to another provider. I don't have much bad to say other than the fact that it seemed like our service was always being interrupted with technical difficulties. Their customer service was helpful even though their wasn't much they could do. The service seemed overpriced for what was provided. I would recommend another provider before sending someone to DISH.

This service is actually pretty great. They offer great service and a variety of channels. Comparatively speaking to other television services, they have an easy interface and a variety of exclusive content. I prefer streaming services over television, but this is one of the better services for tv.

We were customers for 10+ years. The user interface was lacking and frequently lost local channels because of various disputes. We switched to Comcast and we were much happier. Although, with Dish we were able to watch live TV on their app, but with Comcast, we can only watch certain channels live on the app, or else we have to be home and logged into our Comcast wifi. Dish was nice, but it's nicer not having to clean off the snow on our dish anymore.

Overall, we had a good experience with dish. Installation was challenging because they wanted to place the dish right on the front of our home. Our area struggled with reception anytime there was bad weather. We ended up leaving dish because another provider offered a better pricing with better reception. They came back to get the dish and didn’t repair the holes in the roof so that was disappointing.

We used to live in a remote area where if you wanted TV besides local channels you would have to have some sort of outside service. Dish was the main provider. We were thankful that we could use them to get our tv services so we could stay in touch with the outside world and watch some of our favorite shows!

I decided to cut back on the channels we were getting. Really just have the minimum since we weren't watching very much. What I didn't realize is that it took away local channels as well. Not sure why local channels wouldn't be in every package, but it was frustrating not having those!

We cancelled Dish about 4 years ago. It just got way too expensive for TV service. There really needs to be more cafeteria options so you don't have 100 channels that you never watch. It would be nice to only pay for the few you will watch. And now, many base packages don't even include ESPN and many of the channels I will spend time watching. They also continue to hound us with junk mail since we left

I have had Dish for several years and it is very expensive. Everything is an extra charge. The new system works OK as long as you don't mind having your recording limited by having the prime time networks being recorded. With so much being offered on line I will not be a customer much longer.

I like the services provided by DISH, especially on my home televisions. I feel like the price is reasonable, not great, for the services provided. The biggest improvement DISH could make would be to their mobile applications. Watching recorded shows on a mobile device can be challenging.

I had DISH about 3 years ago and will never go back. If it was cloudy or raining even the smallest sprinkle, the signal was awful. They also did a bit of damage when they installed my dish. They refused to pay or fix it so I will just keep my distance and share my experience with others and let them make their own choice. I would literally give 0 stars if I could.

I was a customer for 15 years. They constantly raised my bill each year. I would call and complain and they would ‘find’ a special offer to keep me. Last year i decided streaming was for me as I never watched 70% of the shows in my lowest tier of service. I now stream 100% and am happy. With them now rolling out 5G a word to the wise-DON’T DO IT! Unless they up their customer service and provide COMPETITIVE rates—-GO ELSEWHERE.

Recently Dish Network had a HUGE service interruption which looks to be a ransomware attack. This lasted for over a month and customer service was down for 6 weeks. I finally reached customer service today and they offered me $5 for my inconvenience. Who knows what information of mine is now in some hackers hands. I have been a Dish customer for 20 years and pay $170 per month and they offer me 5 bucks. I will be canceling my service when my current contract expires at the end of this month and urge anyone reading this to stay far away from this company.

All dish wants is your money. I have been trying for 2 weeks to cancel my service. I got through several weeks back and was told my service was canceled. 2 Weeks go by and my credit card was charged again. So I call AGAIN and I waited for a call back, 1:20 minutes later all for some guy to tell me I have to be transferred to another department. Currently on hold now as I type this review.

Would be lower if possible. Signed up 1 month ago and was told I would receive $500 in Visa cards as a promo. Called to receive and was told I would have to wait until I received flyers to collect. Called today and was told impossible. Had to have been issued a code at installation and can't do it without it. Also Dish service has been terrible. Have had to reset receiver at least 5 times a week to get it to work. That's not counting all the calls to support to fix problems. Today they say it's installation error and can't get a tech here until Christmas Eve. Switching back to Direct.

Our contract was up in November of 2022. They said they had to come out and update our equipment, which was only put in 2 years ago. By them coming out they somehow snuck in a line that said we will renew our contract for another 2 years. The new equipment that they installed is worse than the original stuff. Their so called customer service department is just a bunch of people saying they are sorry that I feel that way and there is NOTHING they can do for me. What A Scam. Horrible, horrible company.

Raise prices yearly, then when you threaten to cancel they magically can offer you a lower rate. We finally disconnected and they make me pay to send them their equipment back. But not just the receiver...like want me to dismantle parts of the satellite dish and parts they affixed to my house. If they have so much equipment to recover then send a tech. Nope can't do that bc they don't have techs bc they can't retain employees bc they are so horrible to their staff!

Don't be fooled by this undisclosed trick that Dish has when you bundle with another company! After cancelling the package due to moving, Dish continued to charge the disconnected equipment because of an unknown procedure, "you only needed one phone to get the package, but have to make two separate calls to cancel". so you continue to get charged for something you aren't even using until you have a collection process tarnishing your credit. A CRAPPY AND SNEAKY DISHONEST COMPANY!

We have had Dish for 13 years. When we tried to cancel our services they said we are under contract for 2 more years and it would cost $340 to cancel our service . . . we haven't changed our service in 13 YEARS! . . . but somehow under a contract. I don't know why they are duplicating the failed business model of Hughes Net, but that seems to be their policy. I would highly recommend going with any other company if you have the option.

I had Dishtv satellite service for almost 3 years. Terrible reception went out even in the smallest storm. Then the price went up after 2 years. I called and was told nothing could be done about the pricing so I switched to Directv to see if reception was better. When I called to cancel Dishtv the woman spent 35 minutes trying to bully me into staying with Dishtv!! I had to scream at her to cancel my service and arrange to return my equipment! Lousy service, lousy reception high prices I can't say anything good about them. Hope Directv is better!

The service is the worst. Shortly after starting my dish service I realized my box did not work properly. They would not repair or replace my box unless I paid to do so. I dealt with 1/2 of the capability that I paid for for 2 years. I cancelled my service as soon as my contract was up. They then charged me to return the equipment. They would not let me print my own shipping label, I had to use their $15 box and label.
