**Misleading Pricing, Poor Service, and an Outrageous Cancellation Fee** My experience with Greenix has been absolutely terrible. The pricing and contract terms were not clearly explained to me at all. I was under the impression that I would be charged $75 every three months when they came out to perform the service. I had absolutely no idea that they intended to charge me $75 every single month, even though they were only going to spray once every three months. That means Greenix expected me to pay $900 per year for only four scheduled treatments. That pricing is outrageous, especially considering how poorly the services were performed. I was charged $150 for the initial treatment, another $75 monthly charge, and then told I would have to pay a $300 cancellation fee after they had only sprayed my property twice. That is $525 for two poorly conducted services, all because the agreement and payment schedule were not clearly explained. To make matters worse, the actual pest-control service was inadequate. They left bug eggs around the outside of my house, failed to remove or properly address wasp nests, and did not perform the thorough treatment I expected from a professional pest-control company. I was also never clearly informed that I only had three days to cancel the agreement without being charged a $300 cancellation fee. A three-day cancellation window is completely unreasonable, especially when a customer cannot possibly evaluate the quality or value of an ongoing pest-control service within three days. When I contacted Greenix and explained that I had misunderstood the agreement because I believed the $75 charge occurred every three months, they showed absolutely no understanding or willingness to resolve the situation fairly. Rather than acknowledging that the pricing and contract terms were not communicated clearly, they simply claimed they could not waive the $300 cancellation fee. In my opinion, this entire situation feels deceptive and predatory. Customers are pushed into an expensive agreement with a ridiculously short cancellation period, charged every month for services performed quarterly, and then hit with a massive fee when they realize what they actually agreed to. Greenix had the opportunity to act like a reputable business, recognize that there had been a genuine misunderstanding, and waive the cancellation fee. Instead, they chose to demand even more money for services that were poorly performed and provided almost no value. I feel like Greenix practically stole my money. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Anyone considering Greenix should read every single word of the agreement and should not rely on the salesperson’s verbal explanation of the pricing. Make certain you understand that the $75 charge is monthly, not quarterly, and that they may demand hundreds of dollars if you try to cancel.
