A salesperson showed up at my front door last night saying "please step out of your house." We were shocked!!! When we refused, he walked away stating "I don't talk to people through doors." Aptive needs to train their salespeople. In this day and age for someone to show up at our front door and say "please step outside" is equivalent to saying "I want to harm you and get access to your house so open the door and let me...a complete stranger...into your house. Ironically we do need a pest control service but it will never be Aptive.

Came to perform service, I was home, the technician didn’t make contact with me. Says he did half the yard and back gate was locked. I didn’t seem him do anything, there is no lock on the back gate. If this is the type of service I will receive, I will be cancelling the service and will never refer to a friend or associate. I need the service redone immediately.

I had my quarterly service today and was gone while the technician came - when I got home I went out to see if they got the wasp nest I had noticed a few days ago and it was still there. It makes me question how good of a sweep they are doing considering this is out in plain sight. Not impressed this time around.

Absolutely awful! Your “experienced tech” comes out to “treat” our house, calls me, asks me where the problem areas are, and then does NOTHING! Absolutely everything that you guys write “ insert lie here” It’s a friggin wasp nest! My kids WILL NOT go out side because they have gotten stung or bit. I have a beautiful back yard and they won’t use it. We will not be customers much longer. As this is an ongoing problem with your techs not doing what I pay for.

Our technician managed to spray the inside and outside of our house in a total time of 16 minutes. It is not possible to complete a satisfactory job in that amount of time. I am not pleased with this service and we still have lots of carpenter ants roaming our house.

I signed up for the service yesterday and promised my first application today between 1-3 pm. Well, I received an email notification explaining in great detail all that was done at my home to include the inside application. I spoke to my wife and she stated that no one ever came to the home to do anything. Is this some sort of scam. I would rate lower if the option was available.

My spouse was outside in the backyard when the technician came over this morning and said the tech waited 20 min in his truck, then saw him in the backyard and walk to the side of the house. According to what I was told no services were completed. Also, the notes your tech put in are false. I've already made a call in complaint. Complete waste of money.

I inspected the foundation around the house and found webs from spiders, so the de-webbing was not fully completed. What the heck is Yard inspection performed? What is or what was Yard spot Treatment? When the salesmen sold this program he explained I would get underneath my shed done. Also he stated they would for initial service spray the lawn. I have ants. According to the card left, the technician only Yard spot treament, De-webbing performed and yard inspection. This was completely different than what the sales stated on his discussion and expectations.

Communication is terrible. I was scheduled for services on the 12th between 4-6, and no one showed. I checked my account the next morning and it stated a technician came and finished work around 8. I looked outside and cannot identify what the technician did because there were still arachnids and webs around the house. This is all after not receiving my 30day follow up treatment after the initial sign up.

Terrible communicating. On day of treatment. Eric was supposed to come in the morning and call ahead, neither of which happened. The reason for coming in the morning was to avoid interference with pets, yet he never called, didnt come until 3:32, was only here for 10 minutes and supposedly did only half the treatment. Not satisfied with service at all and would like a refund on this treatment.

As a result of an increased number of insects following a recently scheduled visit I have tried to contact Aptive to schedule a re-treatment. I only get voice mail, and also used their live chat service. VM has the promise - their word not mine, of a follow up the next business day. I have since called twice this week with no call back (Monday, Wednesday). Very frustrating as I am in a 2 year contract and cannot even cancel my service !

The Tec. didn’t remove the dead mouse. He put glue traps in areas where there was no activity. I told the Tec. we continue to caught mice in the basement rafters he put the traps on the floor even after I told him I never caught one on the floor unbelievable. He recommended areas outside our property where they could be getting in but he did nothing to prevent them from coming in. What did I agree to? After the Tec. left I left a message with the company to complain to a manager I have yet to receive a call.

The guys seemed really nice. They were here in and out. Our is not that big. My biggest complaint is they weren’t wearing the shoe covers and that is not very sanitary. (Our former pest control guys used to wear them) We don’t wear outside shoes in our bedroom and that’s definitely a turned off.
