I have been with Legal Shield for many years. They really helped in the beginning and saved me a lot of money. However they appear to have gone downhill in the last couple of years. The last two times I used them I was extremely dissatisfied. Both times the lawyers refused to write a simple letter saying it wouldn't matter. They acted like they were doing me a favor even listening to me. The last time i had doubts she was an actual attorney. If she was i wonder how she graduated high school. Her grammar was terrible. It was onvious she was working from home. A child was crying constantly. At one point she excused herself to tend to child. I am sorry, but if you are going to work from home, get childcare.

Name - Venkatesh Kaliappan I have used Legalshield many different issues and they solved all my problems. I am extremely satisfied with their service. I saved several thousand dollars in one attorney letter. Also they recommand attorneys and they are always available to resolve my issue. I have so much peach of mind with this company. I love Legalshield. They recommend below attorney and they always response to my case inquires ontime. The below attorney resolved several of my cases. MATTLEMAN, WEINROTH & MILLER New Jersey On the other hand I had employer sponsored ARAG legal service and their services are the worst. I paid several months monthly membership fees and all of them waste. This company is cheating and will go bankrupt. I called for help to resolve my employment issues which they said they don't offer employment related legal matter. Other instance I called for issues I was facing in setting up brokerage account which they said they can't handle or resolve any of the brokerage account matter. I called for my son license suspension matter and they opened the case and recommended attorneys. None of the attorneys were returned my calls. This company must be banned from doing the business. If I have lots of money I would buy the shares of Legalshield company and become multi millionere

Recently used LegalShield to handle a landlord dispute. They took a lot of my stress off my shoulders and it their free consultation phone call allowed me to ask all the questions I needed to ask and learn about my rights and next steps. Their process is very straight-forward, although they limit a lot how many documents you can submit etc (unless you want to pay more), which is understandable. The only reason I took off one star is that canceling the service was a bit of a pain. Instead of just canceling via a button on their app, they require you to write them an email. They never replied my first email despite their website saying they reply within 48 hours. I had to call their customer service and a grumpy person told me I have to email them... So I did, again. Finally I was able to get a reply, although it took several days again. I feel like the canceling process could be a lot easier. Overall I recommend them for simple cases like my landlord dispute or composing other legal documents properly.

I've been with Legal Shield when it first started as Pre-Paid Legal services and it is one of the few things I wouldn't be without! For big and small issues, I have had excellent assistance and I have never paid a dime out of pocket. If you have extenuating services then there can fees, but a milli-fraction of what it would cost to pay an attorney. We have a highly respected law firm in the Los Angeles area. Perfect, no, but darn close. The fact that even recently, I have spoken to an attorney, sent documents for her to review, and after 4 conversations, have still not been charged, is remarkable. You can use them for small issues, for questions about wills and trusts, for employee/employer issues, and even send documents up to a certain (generous) number of pages to be reviewed, like contracts, for free. You also get a Will for free and a considerable discount on living trusts. I have never run into any subject that they could not assist me with. Paying customer since 1998 (at least! Maybe longer!)

A great way to find legal help, but requires a monthly subscription. A very good resource to have but I don’t need legal assistance very often so the subscription was not worth it to me.

Their attorneys have helped me with my business in multiple states. This has been an affordable, valuable and stress-relieving resource for me. I have been very impressed with the caliber of attorneys at the law firms; they always call me back quickly and allow me to call as many times as I may need. They filed my LLC and had it back to me within three business days, and have reviewed my contracts and other documents. Anyone that has hired attorneys or understands anything about the legal system will instantly appreciate the value in having this service.

Despite their claims, there are NO LegalShield firms or lawyers in Alberta. It took four months to talk to a lawyer in British Columbia and my request to have a simple change in my Will could not be accommodated. Waste of membership fees. Not recommended.

I got LegalShield through my old employer. I had a little grace period after I changed employers to see if this was a service I wanted to continue. I had a matter that I needed legal advice. I set up my appointment for a Friday. I received an email on Thursday that someone tried to reach me. I knew I was going to be busy on Thursday which is why I didn't set it up on Thursday. I missed the call during the appointment time, but I called back when I could fully talk about the matter. After being on hold for a long time, I finally got to talk to an attorney. The one I talked to was so rude and short with me. That was my first and last time using LegalShield. I could see if I was being annoying. But, I didn't get to say much because I felt that what I had to say wasn't going to matter much anyway. I don't want to stick around to see if there are lawyers with manners. I'm glad my grace period is almost over.

Too expensive in my opinion for what you really get. I had this service for 2 years and paid $25 monthly and only used them about 4 times. When you call to use it, they give a time frame when someone will call you back, but they do not make appts. Very hard to connect to an attorney if you work full time, it's like waiting for Comcast or something "we will call you on such and such date between 8am and 12 pm" type of thing. Also the will that is supposedly free wasn't helpful and the attorney was very rude. Funny how they can sign you up right away and take your money, but what they don't tell you is that you have to submit in writing if you want to cancel, and they tell you you have to call to ensure they received the document, then when you ask if it's cancelled they say "it's in the cancelling process". Not helpful. Not worth it imho.

I'm not sure how to feel about LegalShield because it turns out that the only real benefit to a person (rather than for a business owner) is that it's cheaper to purchase some forms than to obtain the same forms through other avenues. I can see it being an immensely beneficial service for 'regulars' in trouble with the law (like for speeding and parking tickets) but otherwise, the rest of us can get the EXACT same service (pathway advice given by bonafide lawyers) for FREE. So here's how I see it currently: - Pay $29/month to have ACCESS TO ADVICE rarely sought. Add up the number of times that I'd NEED advice, within a 12 month timeframe, and I've spent $348. or - Phone the FREE service for advice and spend the money it costs ONLY for the forms I would require. So say that's 3-4 forms at 70-100 per (rough estimate). I'd be paying the same, less, or slightly more, than one full year of membership with THIS service. WITH this service, I'd be paying the $348/year PLUS forms (if the forms themselves are not free through this service). The lawyer I spoke with, himself, was very kind and thorough in his questions. I forget his name (I'm awful with names) but I would recommend him, certainly. So for him, I will give two stars. One star is because I can see the benefit of the service. Three stars and not Five because there is a free service elsewhere in Canada with lawyers who advise you on what avenues you can take to resolve whatever your issue is- which seems to be the same purpose as this service provides.

I would like to give a BIG thank you to LegalShield provider law firm Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly for resolving my bank fraud issue with my bank and recouping my $18,500.00 that was taking from my account without my authorization on September 3, 2021. My bank had given me a hard time to return this money back to my account, I had exhausted all measures with filing a police report, Identity Thief, and completed all bank consumer bureaus complaints and no one could help me. I was very disappointed how my bank treated me knowing had been a loyal customer with them for 24 years and I was talked to terribly. I was introduced to Legal Shield from a friend and that was the best thing that happened regarding this matter because the law firm provided by Legal Shield was my only option left and I will be forever grateful for them getting this resolved. I hope this really help someone in the future that is going thru a situation like this. Thanks

LOL CONNS' HOMEPLUS So a Issue i had that i thought was NEVER going to get solve, LegalShield knocked it out in a week. I had an account with Conns home Plus that SHOULD of ended Dec. of 2019 because that was when my LAST auto payment Should of went thru. Now sure what happened but the Transaction failed to process. I did not know this because i Never got a email, Call, Text or no notification of the failed last payment, Long story short Conns Sent it to collections and it became a charge off on my Credit. After many attempts in calling Manager's, Supervisors, talking to countless reps in trying to resolve this issue. I wanted for them to accept my last payment and Close my account to take it off of collections they were trying to charge me $600 in late fees and what not. I told them this was there error because if i would of know i would of made the last payment no problems. But sure enough they did not care, so i called My legalShield time they wrote the letter, sent it off to conns. Poof Problem solved they went ahead and took my last payment and got the charge off removed from my credit.

For a reasonably small monthly fee, my husband and I have acess to an entire law firm that covers all areas of law. In the 6 years we have had our membership, we have saved or recouped more money than we have spent on the membership. We have had numerous employment-related contracts and documents reviewed by the Lawyers (saved $200-400 each time). They also settled a dispute with an Auto Repair Shop (saved over $500); convinced a bank to take responsibility for their clerical error (saved over $800); wrote our WIlls and POAs (saved approx. $1,000); and provided advice and peace of mind when we dealth with our insurance company following a car accident.

This is a honest review no hoopla and totally unbiased . Me and my wife had the service and never used it , I even paid for speeding tickets forgetting that I had them . Well this year right before the pandemic my “ luxury “ condo that I was renting for $2300 a month ( this is slot of money in Florida ) starts leaking . I contacted the office and they promised to fix it . They did several weeks later , however the walls inside my apartment started turning green . They said it was nothing . Days later it leaked again this time worse . Several weeks went by and now the wall was black . The management office at this point wasn’t returning our emails or calls and given us the cold shoulder . We felt we rented the money out from the Tom hanks movie everything stated to go wrong in this place ; ac plumbing etc and nobody will get back to us in time . We hired a mold inspector and sure enough we had mold and we’ve had it . So I called my Legalshield provider attorney for the very first time and BAM!!! They wrote a letter to the management company . A few days later I got a personal call from the property manager apologizing and wanting to make amends . It was too late we had enough of them , we got our original deposit back , we had no penalties and they where willing to throw a few months rent . Legalshield is a real service , without them we couldn’t break our lease without penalty . The money we got back paid for the membership for many years over ! It works folks !

LegalShield has saved me thou$and$ of dollars over the past 11 years. My biggest victory with them was when they helped us negotiate a mortgage loan modification and saved our house from foreclosure! I have also used the service dozens of times for my window washing business. On the extremely rare occasion that my experience was less than stellar, it only cost me the monthly membership fee. You can have a negative experience with a traditional attorney-client arrangement and it could cost you tens of thousands! And I've learned that I am not always right. Simply put, my family and I will NEVER be without our LegalShield protection plan!

Me and my family have been a member now for 4 years. It has saved me/us so much money and stress. When my kids were in college it gave me peace of mind. I personally have used my provider law firm for my divorce, contract reviews, red light traffic violation, unlimited consultations and I save money on member discounts. Most recently a letter was written over a medical dispute. I went to a foot doctor for an infection. When the bill arrived, I was charged $810 for treatment I never received. I called the office 3xs to speak to the billing assistant and only got thru once. Despite my efforts, she would not budget and insisted I had a procedure that never happen. Within weeks, I received a notice it was going to a collection agency. That is when I called my provider law firm. I spoke to my attorney and he wrote a letter on my behalf pointing out if a test was negative, xyz wasn't needed. I then received another bill and they had deducted $617 to which my lawyer sent another letter stating that in PA, the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law 73 P.S. 201-1 - 201-9.2 prohibits deceptive business practices such as this. I paid my amended bill for $193 for services rendered. Needless to say I never heard from them again nor did a collection agency come after me and ruin my good credit rating. Thank you LegalShield!

I have the LegalShield member that protects me and my family in case of a legal situaution. It's better to have it, and not need it, then to need it, and not have it.!!! I don't know who wrote this article about my Company LegalShield, Yes I am also a Associate with legalShield. So let me state some facts here. Yes we have a website that you can use for legal documents for your legal situation on your own, but what the writer of this article didn't say is you can send it to your provider Law firm and they will either correct your mistakes or notify you and walk you though it to make sure it done correctly!!! I hate it when someone tries to undermine the integrity of LegalShiled. People do your own reseach and get your own opinion, if you buy into everyones opinion you buy into their lifesyle!!! This is a great business and a awesome product that every American should have..If you have life insurance, car insurance, medical and home owner insurance. Why not have Legal insurance? Its the final piece of the puzzle!!! I am pretty sure that one of the four insurances you alread have you will need a attorney someday, and when you do would you rather pay between $ 19.95 to $39.95 a month which may come up to $239.40 to $479.40 a year VS $150.00 to $350.00 an hour!!! You do the math.!!! I rather pay monthly and save money vs paying hourly and going broke, or working my butt off paying a lawyer who may not satisfy your legal needs. Oh by the way theres no need for a 30 day free trial period, because the membership is month to month. You can canceal whenever you want you to, but before you do that, please take advantage of the free will you get once you become a member of legalShield. It's values is around $800 to about $1500 dollars..Can you find a Law firm that will give you and your family a free will? Well we all know that nothing is free, but for $19.95 cents for a will and legal advise you can't beat that price anyway!!! Please don't buy into others opinions not even mine!! I had three different legal issues to check on in one day :/ One was for a membership to a gym only a $30 issue. The second one was for a debt collector harassing me on a 12 year old debt I paid and the third was on a document review for my concealed weapons permit. These were all everyday situations I needed some good advice on. I called Legalshield at 12:00PM and by 2:00PM that same day I had received a call back from not 1 or 2 but 3 separate attorneys that were experienced in those areas! 3 Attorneys, 3 Problems ALL resolved in less than 2 hours for only $20.00? That was diabolical! Thank you for providing such an amazing service!

Insurance for your insurance! My father had a $500 deductable health insurance policy that covered everything it should have except for a $2400 ambulance ride! My father called and they said it was not covered. My father has had legalshield for over 21 years now so he was use to calling legalshield anytime he needed advice or he felt a company was not doing the right thing. In this case attornies read my dads insurance policy found out it should have been covered. Then the lawfirm fired a legal despute letter calling the insurance company out. After further research and review the company claimed they did this was a covered matter. So they saved my dad $2400 on his bill! Love this service!

My LegalShield law firm helped me with a $25 situation. I was visiting the great State of Arizona at the time I found out about the $25 charge that my auto insurance company had applied to my bill, because of a glitch on their website. I contacted my LegalShield Law Firm in Illinois, Evans, Lowenstein, Schimanovsky, and Moscardini. Yes, a real brick and mortar law firm in downtown Chicago. It was not out of pettiness that I contacted my LegalShield law firm; but because of the premise that it was my money, as well as the disrespectful manner that the operator handled me over the telephone. Over the years, prior to me being a LegalShield member, I have given away a lot of money and opportunities, by being “nickel and dimed” here and there by companies that I did business with. That's because those businesses know, and common sense tells you that it cost less to have someone take your $25 to $100, than to pay a law firm $250 to $500 to get it back. However, because of LegalShield, for $20 a month I can afford the advice and a telephone call, from my law firm, on my behalf. One week later, I received my check for $25 with a letter of apology from the law department of the auto insurance company. I was preparing to travel to Dallas, TX for a convention, only to find out that my identity had been compromised. As it turns out, I had dropped my bank card at a gas station in Indiana. Whoever found it was able to have a phony check deposited into my checking account. Thank you LegalShield!!! I'm a member 11 years on April 6, 2015! I made a simple inquiry to a company, I was required to give my telephone number for a one time consultation. I was not interested, and stated so, however I began to receive very long text messages with offers of grandeur . I text back not interested and immediately received a text back stating "we don't accept text, email "stop" if you no longer want to be contacted. I emailed at once,however every few days or so I was still getting text messages. So this morning I emailed back after receiving a very long text and simply said, "I text the word "stop" 3 times, if I receive another text I will contact my law firm and ask for their help" 5 minutes later I got a email from a real person" apologizing to me and assured me I would not hear from them again" This is so AMAZING because all I had to do was mention I have a LAW FIRM that will help me. I did not even have to make the call!!! Go LegalShield!

I disagree with "The Bottom Line". I know so many people that have great relationships with the attorneys. I have even met them! I have used the service many time and have never had to pay anything besides my $17/mo (that's right, you CAN KEEP YOUR OLD PLAN! you only have to switch if you want to). I truly think the lawyers at WFJ in WI are some the best in the country. Who wouldn't want them on their side? LegalShield makes these law firms sit at a much higher standard than the typical law firm because there are plenty of law firms just waiting to get a contract. The lawyers typically go well beyond the scope of the contract and not charging anything for it. I have never heard of a lawyer doing that, but I have heard of people complaining about the 30 mins phone call and what they they charged for it. LegalShield is changing the way we seek and get justice for everyone in America.

After being a member for awhile w/o using it one day it dawned on me that I could ask them a question about anything and they would try and answer it. I then called them about something I heard was was illegal but wasn't sure. I heard that it was illegal to pass out your business cards by the court house. So I called and got the real answer. No! That's not entirely true. Each town has it's own laws that covers what you can pass out and where, and all I have to do is call a number to find out, but no, it's not illegal to pass out my business cards by a courthouse. I now like having access to the right info without it costing me a lot, wasting my time trying to google it , or dealing with idiots who don't know the law. Being a LegalShield member is the best!

I started several weeks ago and came from the insurance industry so I understood the value of these services. Most of us have learned to weigh our money against our legal rights. We actually believe that we don't even need legal protection. I've been explaining it like this. The fire department does everything possible to avoid ever having to put out any fires. The more preventative precautions they instill the less you'll need their big red truck. Because that's a service they understand, they soon realize that that is what we are doing. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," I explain all of this before they know the price and for my own amusement (coming from selling very expensive policies) I prepare them to be "sticker shocked", (At this point it's best have the application visible) and when they see how much it really costs, they wonder how were making money. That's an easy answer, and it's a buying question. If you're serious about making a change, then this is where you should be.

I've had many occasions to use various areas of the plan. I have both a personal legal plan, and a business legal plan. I also use LegalShield to handle my identity theft protection. My law firm has reviews numerous contracts, provided sound tax advice, helped me with family law issues, and family members have used the 24x7 emergency service when waiting till Monday at 9 was not an option that allowed my grandson to sleep at home rather than with strangers. I've gotten more than one notification that my online identity was being traded on hacker websites so I was able to immediately take care of it. My plan consistently delivers far more in value than the monthly membership fee.

We would never be without our LegalShield membership or Identity Theft protection. We have had documents reviewed for our own protection. Phone calls and or letters wrote on our behalf. We have had numerous consultations and repeat consultations on so many different issues. There is nothing more empowering to me then to learn what my legal rights are. To be able to call my provider law firm and ask for information, and to have a lawyer in that area of law equip me with the information I need to protect myself when I am being bullied, this is truly legal muscle when I need it. We have 24-7 access to the lawyers. We have our free documents, and help from the law firm to fill them out to make sure we are covered legally. We have our free will and have it updated yearly. There is so much more that comes with the membership. We also have our ID theft protection which is also been priceless and has saved us so much heartache. Our provider law firm does not just make sure we are treated like gold, they truly care about us. I don't know any law firm and or lawyer that is going to call you back to make sure you are okay, and, do so after hours! There is no lawyer or law firm that we could find that is on-call 24-7 if we have an emergency! LegalShield ROCKS!

In February of 2014 I bought a small camera. $199.00. In July it stopped working. I called the manufacturer and they told me it was under warranty and to send it in. I did just that! After a month I called and was told they had to order a part. Then I waited two more months and called again. Same answer! A part is ordered. I called my LegalShield law firm. They sent a letter and one week later I got a phone call from the camera company asking for my address and what color camera I wanted and they would replace my old camera with the latest model which cost $50 more. I had the new camera in two days. Point: A call from an individual does not receive an acceptable response but a letter from a law firm gets immediate action. This was all part of my L/S membership. No bill!

I am handicapped and being on a fixed income (SSID) I got into a financial bind. My utilities, food and rent became more important than making my payment to my credit card. Hence the debt was turned over for collection. However, after trying to pay off the debt for over a year I was threatened by the collection agency that they were going to raise my monthly payment. I have been a member for over 14 years now. My most resent call to the law firm was about a brand new BMW that I purchased in Nov 2014 in NC. I took it in for it's first oil change last week an on the way in warning lights came on stating Drive Train Malfunction. Got a call from the dealership the following week stating that metal shavings was found in the oil cylinder and that they will have to replace my engine. I was very uneasy especially with this being a new vehicle. As a resident of SC LegalShield was able to get me on the phone with an attorney in NC less than 24 hours. Who walked me through all of my options. This gave me peace of mind and allowed me to make the best decision in this situation. I am a member for life.

I had a member who was in law enforcement. He and 3 young son's all under the age of 6 at the time. Wife, mother was just done w/all of it. He was lost. Reminded him of his LegalShield membership. They went to court, he won in divorce court. Ex-wife was issued to pay child support. She then decided she wanted the boys' back. (Didn't want to pay support). Back to court. She lost again. Tax time and she wanted to claim the children. Contacted LegalShield tax attorney's and he prevailed. Unfortunate story, but he moved on with his children and he didn't have to figure out where to go for help! LegalShield is powerful and it works!

I've been using their services for 10 months. I've called on 5 separate instances. So far they have saved me over $1,000 in fraudulent debt collections and lease early termination fees. They've reviewed contracts for me finding things in the fine print that I had not seen. Had a speeding ticket dismissed (I still paid court costs). Then just today I was in an accident with an 18-wheeler where he ran the red-light. When I called in. I was called back in just under 5 minutes by the managing partner. I know my rights are protected 24/7 and I can live my life worry free every day. I won't be without them.

I have both the legal plan and the Premium Identity Theft plans from LegalShield and made use of both today. Through my ID theft plan, I received an email notification about a new, unknown addresses associated with me. I immediately touched the bar on my LegalShield smartphone app which connects to the IDShield service, and was connected quickly to a Kroll licensed fraud investigator. With me on the phone, he began searching my records and calling several different companies to try to figure out why that notation had appeared. Not too surprisingly, each call was met with a recording and numbers to push for this or that. I could tell he has a lot of experience as I could hear the tones as he pushed buttons that quickly got him past all the walls and got to real people quickly each time. Each person was clearly following a prescribed script, or trying to, but he was all business and firm and quickly got from each person what they could give him. He and I were on the phone for 45-50 minutes, which was a nuisance, but without him I could have spent many hours, even days, getting nowhere. Immediately after getting off the phone with the investigator, I used the phone app again to call my provider law firm. The phone was answered immediately, the person who took my call quickly made notes of my concerns and passed them on to the attorneys in the firm who would be best qualified to help me with this particular situation. Four minutes later an attorney called me back and provided some very good, knowledgeable advice to me which made me feel much better and quite at ease. Nowhere else can anyone in North America get very needed help so quickly, for so little - every time it is needed. I know from 12 years experience as a LegalShield member that life is less stressful, and less expensive WITH the LegalShield membership, than it is WITHOUT the membership.

The service is great and is worth many multiples of the current price. Everyone can afford and benefit from these services. It is foolish to overlook what this is. Anyone pitching the "pyramid scheme" probably plays the lottery themselves and probably wouldn't know the difference between a pyramid or a ponzi scheme if it hit them on the head. LegalShield is a proven 40+ year old network marketing, direct sales, and now, an insurance marketing organization. LegalShield will add to your fortune, if you are have desire, are coach-able and if you are actually willing to work. Strange concept for the naysayers! The bottom line: the service works, and the company's commission checks cash!

So far for almost 3 yrs, Legal Shield has been a life SAVER! I just did not yet got help with a old personal matter but it is more because the person involved has been difficulty to find but on other matters such us: old job, tenants situation, insurance company, HOA and most important recently with my car! Legal shield definitely a great option. I needed an attorney out of state, there was a cost but I saved $1000 dollars using one of their referral lawyers and the 25% discount. I needed the lawyer and he did more that I even expected and I didn't even meet him or did I need to go to court with. Just so happen that He knew the Prosecuting attorney and was able to negotiate fairly. The ex wife was surprised that the attorney appeared in my behalf. Thanks because I would of been hurting financially and the truth was presented and the cut the suit by half of what the state was trying to get. Legal shield is the worst thing I could have ever done, I was in an very wrongful eviction had been working with an attorney directly who assured me numerous times he would handle it and everything would be fine yeah for over a week than literally less than 14hrs before my court date they told me I am not covered I spoke with 3 supervisors and received all different reasons and I confirmed they were all full of 💩. SCAM!!! Do NOT use this company I promise you this is exactly what will happen to you and YOU WILL BE LEFT CRYING L, ALONE, AND HELPLESS AND YOUR COURT HEARING!! I hope they burn, Single mother

I used to love LegalShield and we've used it extensively in the past. This review will center on LegalShield and not the counsel they retained to deliver the service. I wish there was an easy way to separate the two of them because I have been happy with the advice in the past. Right now, I'm quite upset as the level of service has dropped significantly. The legal service when I actually receive help has always been amazing and I have no doubt that the lawyer who I finally speak to will deliver a great service while I have them on the line. But you are going to spend hours on hold to do anything before you ever speak to that lawyer. Last week on Thursday morning I submitted my request at 8:47am and got my email response that the lawyer would respond within 4 hours. Roughly 6 hours later I called the help line to inquire as to the status of my request. After 1.5 hours on hold, I reached someone that tried to get the lawyer for me and was told they were unavailable and would call me back shortly. Near the end of business day I called back and spent another 45 minutes on hold only to be disconnected. Friday was a holiday and so they were understandably unavailable. Monday morning I got my call and picked up the first ring to an empty line. I immediately called back and waited three hours this time before customer service could tell me I would receive a call at 5pm the following day. The young man I spoke with said he put a not on my file to have the lawyer attempt to call me sooner if possible but that this is all he can do. I've been a LegalShield user for many years and am shocked by the degraded service of the company. The only thing that prevented me giving one star is that I have appreciated the service over the years.

If you been paying fees monthly for 2-5 years and you finally need help that should be a big credit toward your bill. Because someone paying 2 months ago will get the same service. Does that sound fair. Update your program and give big credit to people that paid but never had a issue to leave. Wasted money could be savings for kids or life insurance policy that pays out at 18. Your old ways will cause you to lose clients you lost me. I saw this as a waste when we needed help when I paid but my circumstances included being off work and that adds up to zero. I am back at work because of my own understanding of law. But I looked at all the payments I made to LS. Was two months of rent I really needed at that time. Make it make common sense.

Second, if you can't resolve, then LegalShield will provide letters and make phone calls on your behalf, this part is free with membership. If their letter or phone call can't resolve the issue, then this is where you can hire them at a 25% discount off state approved hourly rate for attorneys, which still saves you money. They do it this way because sometimes all it takes is a letter or phone call from a law firm to stop a legal issue. Which in return, saves you a lot of money by not having to hire an attorney.

I have been a member for almost 6 years now and in 3 different states and every law firm has been very good. They call back timely, explain things until you get it! And now they have added lower pricing if you are single, yea !!! Calling tomorrow to protest what Sprint has done to me after leaving them in Feb 2014 after 12 years as a customer.......I know I will get help and no bill will come in the mail from LegalShield!

I've been able to save money and make better and informed decisions for my family. Who ever wrote the overview has made several errors in "The Bad" section. There is no need for a "Trial Offer" because a member can cancel their service at any time without any penalties. Even after 30 days of use. You also have access to a referral attorney at a preferred member discounted hourly rate when you need representation in court. Most people are not in need of "regular" representation in court, unless they are criminals. Even then, your LegalSHield Network attorneys will take care you. So you see I "have" an attorney I dont just "feel like I have one....

As a member in Ontario Canada, I have used LegalShield to complete 3 seperate real estate transactions i the Barrie marketplace. By legislation in Ontario you are required to have a lawyer register and complete the property sale. In each case I called my LegalShield provider, Mill & Mills in Toronto, received the advice I needed and they referred me to a lawyer in Barrie who professionally completed the sale in a timely manner and I received a 25% discount as a member of LegalShield. I am a 15 year satisfied member and will never be without this service.

Been a member for over 3 years. Helped save me at least 10k in fees and over charges from other companies out to "not listen" to a complaint or problem with their service. Give it a try, you cancel it. But you need to use it to see it's value. Why would you? We don't always win our case, but we always win we use Legal Shield when we may not of without it. Count the cost. If it wasn't for Legal Shield and Parker Stanbury, I would of been ignored by a large company if I would of wrote them a letter. Not so, with them and I'm being listened to. That's just one experience I have good ones, and of course I lost but at least I knew.

I've had the LegalShield membership for about 4 years and have had nothing short of excellent service any time I've needed anything from them. When involved in an accident I used the emergency 24/7 number and had an atty on the line within minutes. Nice to know that you're covered no matter where you are in the country in the case of an emergency.
