LegalShield offers a variety of legal advice so customers can choose a plan that best fits their needs. Also, LegalShield offers several products and services, like identity theft protection, real estate advice, divorce advice, speeding tickets, will preparation, and more.

Customer service has great reviews from consumers. A Resource Center is available 24/7 that provides definitions and explanations for difficult legal topics and legal matters.

Affordable Prices

The cost for a LegalShield membership is broken down into four options, Personal/Family Plans start at $24.95 a month, Small Business Plan start at $39.00 a month, Commercial Driver Plan start at $12.95 a month, and Identity Theft Plan at $12.95 a month.

Personal/Family Plans- LegalShield offers unlimited legal advice, trial defense services, coverage for your family, and 24/7 Emergency Assistance for $24.95 per month.

An upgraded version of this Family Package will cost $44.95 per month but assists customers with moving violations, DOT violations, tragic accident assistance, Will preparation, IRS audit, and many other legal services.

Small Business Plans- This service provides small business owners with professional legal advice at a much lower cost. This package gives small businesses access to all LegalShield features starting at $39.00 per month. Price may vary on the size of the company.

Small business owners can't afford an on-site attorney but they also can't afford to not have legal advice. This saves companies thousands of dollars each year for access to all of LegalShield's documents, attorneys, and professional help.

Commercial Driver Plan- Commercial drivers tend to have unique questions when it comes to legal matters. The Basic Commercial Drivers Legal Package offers a wide variety of services starting at $32.95 per month. Upgrading to the Super Commercial Drivers Legal Plan costs $44.95 a month.

Identity Theft Plan- With thousands and thousands of hackers and scammers throughout the world, IDShield is a product created by LegalShield to protect individuals and families from the Dark Web and identity theft. It's individual IDShield Plan costs $12.95 a month, and for the IDShield Family Package it is $27.95.

IDShield immediately starts monitoring your ID and alerts you when there are suspicious issues with your ID. It has programs that search your credit records, public records, court records, the sex offender lists, address changes, payday loan, high-risk applications or transactions, and it also monitors your information that appears on the Dark Web. These features protect you from identity theft, the dark web, and credit card fraud.

This package is one of the most useful packages we have seen. Not only does LegalShield protect individuals from the law, but also protects from hackers, scammers, and identity theft.

Multi-Level Marketing is when customers of its product or services become brand ambassadors. Customers sign up for a membership and as they refer friends to join LegalShield they make money. Some people are scared of the MLM business model because there is a stigma that people who join only lose money or its all just a pyramid scheme. These ideas could not be farther from the truth.

Because each client is also a potential employee, LegalShield takes care of its members better than most of its competition. Customers clearly show their support in the reviews below. There is also some missing information regarding important legal processes and whether or not LegalShield handles these cases.

No Filing

LegalShield does not mention whether or not it's contracted law firms will file legal documents for their members. However, LegalShield's lawyers will provide direction on how to do so.

No Free Trial

LegalShield does not currently offer a free trial to potential members, which does not allow prospective members to test the water before deciding if they should choose this company for their legal needs.

Enrollment Fee

There is a $10 one-time enrollment fee when signing up for LegalShield. New members are required to pay this fee and is non-refundable.

I wish I can give legal shield 0 star The worst experience I ever had with legal shield. I am a member for more than 10 years and this is first time I needed and my experience was so poorly and very bad. To start the customer service is very bad. Anytime I called them I had to wait for more than 10 minutes and after I spoke with them and gave my case information and my availability, they called me wrong time while I was at work so I had to call back again and I was told my case was closed because I wasn't available. I reopened my case more than 3 times and any time I had to call them it was a nightmare because I had to wait long time on the phone and I had to give them all my information again not to mention I was running of time because I had a petrial conference. All I wanted to do was to settle my case and get my security deposit back. Finally I got a referral for an attorney and he told me I needed to pay $2.000.000 because I broked my lease and according with the attorney I don't had a case. So I didn't get any free legal help and representation after being a member for more than 10 years.... Like I mentioned all I wanted was to settle my case and get my security deposit back. I also asked for a counter Sue and I was told by the attorney I can't do it because the landlord isn't entitled to do it. So everything I asked for was denied by the attorney. Everything was wrong with legal shield ... I was so frustrated with their answer and not help that I decided to represented myself. I went to the petrial conference and I was able to settle my case and get my security deposit back without paying anything and without any complications or waste time and more money. Everything went so smooth and easy. I don't recommend legal shield to nobody and I don't trust them either. Next time you need help with legal advice look around, search and talk to other attorneys for advice.

If you been paying fees monthly for 2-5 years and you finally need help that should be a big credit toward your bill. Because someone paying 2 months ago will get the same service. Does that sound fair. Update your program and give big credit to people that paid but never had a issue to leave. Wasted money could be savings for kids or life insurance policy that pays out at 18. Your old ways will cause you to lose clients you lost me. I saw this as a waste when we needed help when I paid but my circumstances included being off work and that adds up to zero. I am back at work because of my own understanding of law. But I looked at all the payments I made to LS. Was two months of rent I really needed at that time. Make it make common sense.

I was with Legal Shield in California for 3 months and contacted them for a Landlord Tenant issue and was desperately needing help. It was my first time using their service and my first and last time booking a consult and had the misfortune of getting a very abusive attorney by the name of Rocco Papalia who was the most dehumanizing, aggressive, and disrespectful person ever. I could not believe this was an attorney calling me for a consult. If you are in California I cannot stress enough do not sign up for Legal Shield as you will be assigned to this Corporate Law Firm in LA and there is only one and they service all of California. Their complaint process is a joke, it’s smoke and mirrors, they do not care about their members nor do they care about consent. During the complaint process they literally ask if they have consent to call, I checked “No” yet the law firm called me anyway? What’s the point of asking me anyway? They were dismissive, rude, and hostile this is customer service, Rocco the attorney was aggressive talk of over me I couldn’t even tell him I had a disability, they do not care about serving those with disabilities. Nor does customer service, they used it to shut me out of the app and didn’t address my concerns and request for a refund. Legal shield operates like they’re above the law like the mafia but the mafia at least had some ethical codes.

We recommended LegalShield to a friend who was battling cancer and encouraged her to have a will made. After three years, her battle was ended and my wife was informed that our friend left her as the beneficiary of her very small “estate”. Her family walked out on her during her second bout of cancer and when she passed, they all came out of the woodwork for what they could get. LegalShield would not defend the will they created and left it up to us to hire a lawyer in order to defend the will. This cost us over a year in time and 50k in lawyer fees. LegalShield did nothing to back up a will they created because of a “conflict of interest” because the family hired a lawyer who was on the payroll of LegalShield.

I've used LegalShield for two cases in the last two years. It's a decent option for legal advice considering what you pay. It is frustrating when you need prompt legal advice as it can take three days for them to respond/review. I didn't like how my lawyers were not local to the city I had a case in, this would be ideal as each court house operates differently. I had one lawyer to start, another lawyer would step in, and then the original lawyer left my case with no goodbye.

I would not recommend them. They never advised I have to wait 3 months before they could take my case ???? That does not make sense. Why don't you charge $100 upfront instead of having me wait 3 months and then I presume they will waste another 3 months. Just ridiculous!!!! You get what you pay for guess and in this case it's nothing!!!

I would not recommend Legal Shield to anyone. I consulted them for a dispute I was having in California with my landlord. After joining, opening a new case and uploading documentation, I had brief telephone conversations with the assigned attorney, but after 2 months they made no progress in my dispute and ultimately closed my case and could not provide me with any lawyer referrals. You are far better off getting legal advice from the court near you, or hiring an attorney directly.

After having cancelled my membership I have been constantly bombarded with emails. I have previously requested them to stop and sent them a copy of the electronic harassment law for my state. STILL getting multiple emails daily. How ironic that a company that provides access to attorney’s can’t do simple things after being requested to stop with the harassing emails.

They kept telling me what I need to do. I said I would like You to write a letter to HUD. They told me to email the information weeks went bye nothing. I would like to give a BIG thank you to LegalShield provider law firm Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly for resolving my bank fraud issue with my bank and recouping my $18,500.00 that was taking from my account without my authorization on September 3, 2021. My bank had given me a hard time to return this money back to my account, I had exhausted all measures with filing a police report, Identity Thief, and completed all bank consumer bureaus complaints and no one could help me. I was very disappointed how my bank treated me knowing had been a loyal customer with them for 24 years and I was talked to terribly. I was introduced to Legal Shield from a friend and that was the best thing that happened regarding this matter because the law firm provided by Legal Shield was my only option left and I will be forever grateful for them getting this resolved. Most attorneys are not well versed in customer service, however the supervising attorney I spoke with was very short with me as if I did not deserve her time or energy, Ms. Lauren from the St. Louis, MO area. When confronted of her rude nature she was basically like bye and hung up. Please beware of LegalShield and their attorneys they will not come through when you need it the most or they’ll tell you what to say during court (which doesn’t work) or it’s a conflict of interest. Save your money!

If they can’t understand handling of my personal info, how much more poorly will they handle your legal needs? I decided to cancel service after finding the website advertised any subject outside your plan, you get 25% discount. What I got: the actual contract distinguished personal and business (the website does not). Suddenly my costs doubled just to have a simple, small business form made. They have no interest keeping your data secure in any reasonable manner. Their website design and data management is so sub standard to the point a young kid could design it, and in fact some of the worst I’ve seen in my 25 yrs in the industry. They don’t offer any form of double authentication. When I call, they say they removed the credit card info - but it’s only when I say “but I’m logged in and see it” they finally distinguish it’s from their internal system and not my profile (yet the whole time I was very specific I wanted my profile info deleted). I asked by email, with my cancel request, to delete my login, profile and credit card info. It’s been 6 weeks and I’ve received one email saying “we received your request”. No confirmation yet, of actual cancellation of the plan nor my data purge request. I can still log in, still see my credit card info and profile. It still shows my plan listed.

I used -tried to use- their service 4x, I always hoped that the next time would be a better experience but it wasn't. For the first time, the law firm was very rude, the second time they gave me wrong advice (turned out later after they referred me to another lawyer where I paid $120 for a consultation and they told me the opposite of what I was told by the Legalshield lawyer), the third time the lawyer I talked to couldn't really answer my question, the 4th time I scheduled a call with them but no one called me. Their customer support line doesn't support customers, if you want to know why you were never called, they direct you to the law firm where you are directed back to LegalShield. I spent hours without achieving anything...very bad experience.

I started the membership sine one year ago, and contacted the company 3 times. The first time, the lawyer called me back on time and answered my questions and emails me the forms I need, it was very good. The 2nd time, I asked them to sign a form for my identity, was told they could not provide in person service and I have to go other place...Today I booked a consultation for certain time, and got a confirming email saying the lawyer will call me at that time, but nobody called. When I called the customer service/admin line, was told No more time-chosen appointment, and some lawyer will call me back with 24-48 hours, which nobody told me, and I have been waiting for the call all the time....

I am a military veteran I have paid for Legal Shield membership for over 10 years, the one time that I needed my services for a tax suit the attorneys I was forced to use, R, B, and N in Kansas, refused to send my Missouri case to Dubail Judge in MO, where I used to reside which is where trial would also take place, not Kansas. As a veteran I also called in to have them work another case which was a veteran matter, and for a second time I was given the lowest rate lawyer service I could imagine. When the attorney called me on that matter he stated he couldn't even remember where he read part of the law he was quoting to me as legal advice. This was the managing partner of that firm. How can anyone expect the legal advice they get as sound advice when the attorney can't remember where he read something he's advising you on? Now further into my case, when I filed a complaint with legal shield corporate they sided with the law firm, further to that, when I stated if they would not review the actions they took not following Legal Shield Procedure for referral on out of state cases, I would get my money back that I payed in. I filed a my complaint because the advice that the Kansas Firm gave me, was incorrect and misleading, they wanted the case off their book to just get paid is how it seemed to me. Because I had to learn of the procedure form the opposing counsel and judge, not the attorneys who were supposed to be advising me. If they would have sent me to the lawyers I had requested and should have been sent to, the advice and counsel I would have received would have been better. But instead, Legal Shield Cancelled my membership stating "Company Decision", no one called me, emailed me, not to mention this was directly after the Lawyer Mike R, said he would call me back on Thursday with an update to the law he couldn't remember that he had just read, when in reality they worked with Legal Shield on Wednesday to cancel my membership. So I had 300 hours of trial defense, gone, no refund, I have two legal matters that I now have to hire other attorneys for all because I put my trust in Legal Shield to be there when I needed it. But when I threatened to use my membership which I was actively trying to save for issues like this, they cancel it because of what? Because I threatened to give you legal matters, especially a Veteran issue?! Yet cancel a member after over a decade of paying for your services and then be told, sucks to be YOU! That is my experience with Legal Shield and R, B, and N in Kansas, Legal Shield refuses to tell me the reason for cancellation, refuses to refund me, refuses to respond, and refuses to respond to the BBB. That is the company I paid money to for over a decade. I strongly urge anyone to consider any other service or firms before putting your faith in this company that they will be there when you need them.

LOL CONNS' HOMEPLUS So a Issue i had that i thought was NEVER going to get solve, LegalShield knocked it out in a week. I had an account with Conns home Plus that SHOULD of ended Dec. of 2019 because that was when my LAST auto payment Should of went thru. Now sure what happened but the Transaction failed to process. I did not know this because i Never got a email, Call, Text or no notification of the failed last payment, Long story short Conns Sent it to collections and it became a charge off on my Credit. After many attempts in calling Manager's, Supervisors, talking to countless reps in trying to resolve this issue. I wanted for them to accept my last payment and Close my account to take it off of collections they were trying to charge me $600 in late fees and what not. I told them this was there error because if i would of know i would of made the last payment no problems. But sure enough they did not care, so i called My legalShield time they wrote the letter, sent it off to conns. Poof Problem solved they went ahead and took my last payment and got the charge off removed from my credit.

This is a honest review no hoopla and totally unbiased . Me and my wife had the service and never used it , I even paid for speeding tickets forgetting that I had them . Well this year right before the pandemic my “ luxury “ condo that I was renting for $2300 a month ( this is slot of money in Florida ) starts leaking . I contacted the office and they promised to fix it . They did several weeks later , however the walls inside my apartment started turning green . They said it was nothing . Days later it leaked again this time worse . Several weeks went by and now the wall was black . The management office at this point wasn’t returning our emails or calls and given us the cold shoulder . We felt we rented the money out from the Tom hanks movie everything stated to go wrong in this place ; ac plumbing etc and nobody will get back to us in time . We hired a mold inspector and sure enough we had mold and we’ve had it . So I called my Legalshield provider attorney for the very first time and BAM!!! They wrote a letter to the management company . A few days later I got a personal call from the property manager apologizing and wanting to make amends . It was too late we had enough of them , we got our original deposit back , we had no penalties and they where willing to throw a few months rent . Me and my family have been a member now for 4 years. It has saved me/us so much money and stress. When my kids were in college it gave me peace of mind. I personally have used my provider law firm for my divorce, contract reviews, red light traffic violation, unlimited consultations and I save money on member discounts. Most recently a letter was written over a medical dispute. I went to a foot doctor for an infection. When the bill arrived, I was charged $810 for treatment I never received. I called the office 3xs to speak to the billing assistant and only got thru once. Despite my efforts, she would not budget and insisted I had a procedure that never happen. Within weeks, I received a notice it was going to a collection agency. That is when I called my provider law firm. I spoke to my attorney and he wrote a letter on my behalf pointing out if a test was negative, xyz wasn't needed. I then received another bill and they had deducted $617 to which my lawyer sent another letter stating that in PA, the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law 73 P.S. 201-1 - 201-9.2 prohibits deceptive business practices such as this. I paid my amended bill for $193 for services rendered. Needless to say I never heard from them again nor did a collection agency come after me and ruin my good credit rating. Thank you LegalShield!

Yes we have a website that you can use for legal documents for your legal situation on your own, but what the writer of this article didn't say is you can send it to your provider Law firm and they will either correct your mistakes or notify you and walk you though it to make sure it done correctly!!! I hate it when someone tries to undermine the integrity of LegalShiled. People do your own reseach and get your own opinion, if you buy into everyones opinion you buy into their lifesyle!!! This is a great business and a awesome product that every American should have..If you have life insurance, car insurance, medical and home owner insurance. Why not have Legal insurance? Its the final piece of the puzzle!!! I am pretty sure that one of the four insurances you alread have you will need a attorney someday, and when you do would you rather pay between $ 19.95 to $39.95 a month which may come up to $239.40 to $479.40 a year VS $150.00 to $350.00 an hour!!! You do the math.!!! I rather pay monthly and save money vs paying hourly and going broke, or working my butt off paying a lawyer who may not satisfy your legal needs. Oh by the way theres no need for a 30 day free trial period, because the membership is month to month. You can canceal whenever you want you to, but before you do that, please take advantage of the free will you get once you become a member of legalShield. It's values is around $800 to about $1500 dollars..Can you find a Law firm that will give you and your family a free will? I had three different legal issues to check on in one day :/ One was for a membership to a gym only a $30 issue. The second one was for a debt collector harassing me on a 12 year old debt I paid and the third was on a document review for my concealed weapons permit. These were all everyday situations I needed some good advice on. Insurance for your insurance! My father had a $500 deductable health insurance policy that covered everything it should have except for a $2400 ambulance ride! My father called and they said it was not covered. My father has had legalshield for over 21 years now so he was use to calling legalshield anytime he needed advice or he felt a company was not doing the right thing. In this case attornies read my dads insurance policy found out it should have been covered. Then the lawfirm fired a legal despute letter calling the insurance company out. After further research and review the company claimed they did this was a covered matter. So they saved my dad $2400 on his bill! Love this service!

My LegalShield law firm helped me with a $25 situation. I was visiting the great State of Arizona at the time I found out about the $25 charge that my auto insurance company had applied to my bill, because of a glitch on their website. I contacted my LegalShield Law Firm in Illinois, Evans, Lowenstein, Schimanovsky, and Moscardini. Yes, a real brick and mortar law firm in downtown Chicago. It was not out of pettiness that I contacted my LegalShield law firm; but because of the premise that it was my money, as well as the disrespectful manner that the operator handled me over the telephone. Over the years, prior to me being a LegalShield member, I have given away a lot of money and opportunities, by being “nickel and dimed” here and there by companies that I did business with. That's because those businesses know, and common sense tells you that it cost less to have someone take your $25 to $100, than to pay a law firm $250 to $500 to get it back. However, because of LegalShield, for $20 a month I can afford the advice and a telephone call, from my law firm, on my behalf. One week later, I received my check for $25 with a letter of apology from the law department of the auto insurance company. I was preparing to travel to Dallas, TX for a convention, only to find out that my identity had been compromised. As it turns out, I had dropped my bank card at a gas station in Indiana. Whoever found it was able to have a phony check deposited into my checking account. I received a letter from my bank on a Saturday telling me that my check in the amount of just under $4000 could not be verified, and to contact the bank immediately. The identity thief had purchased $100 worth of gas, and had withdrawn $500 out of my checking account. Needless to say, when I telephoned the bank, I was treated very poorly over the telephone by the bank personnel. On that Monday, I contacted my IDShield specialist Kroll. Thank you LegalShield!!! I'm a member 11 years on April 6, 2015! I made a simple inquiry to a company, I was required to give my telephone number for a one time consultation. I was not interested, and stated so, however I began to receive very long text messages with offers of grandeur . I text back not interested and immediately received a text back stating "we don't accept text, email "stop" if you no longer want to be contacted. I emailed at once,however every few days or so I was still getting text messages. So this morning I emailed back after receiving a very long text and simply said, "I text the word "stop" 3 times, if I receive another text I will contact my law firm and ask for their help" 5 minutes later I got a email from a real person" apologizing to me and assured me I would not hear from them again" This is so AMAZING because all I had to do was mention I have a LAW FIRM that will help me. I disagree with "The Bottom Line". I know so many people that have great relationships with the attorneys. I have even met them! I have used the service many time and have never had to pay anything besides my $17/mo (that's right, you CAN KEEP YOUR OLD PLAN! you only have to switch if you want to). I truly think the lawyers at WFJ in WI are some the best in the country. Who wouldn't want them on their side? LegalShield makes these law firms sit at a much higher standard than the typical law firm because there are plenty of law firms just waiting to get a contract. The lawyers typically go well beyond the scope of the contract and not charging anything for it. I have never heard of a lawyer doing that, but I have heard of people complaining about the 30 mins phone call and what they they charged for it. LegalShield is changing the way we seek and get justice for everyone in America.

After being a member for awhile w/o using it one day it dawned on me that I could ask them a question about anything and they would try and answer it. I then called them about something I heard was was illegal but wasn't sure. I heard that it was illegal to pass out your business cards by the court house. So I called and got the real answer. No! That's not entirely true. Each town has it's own laws that covers what you can pass out and where, and all I have to do is call a number to find out, but no, it's not illegal to pass out my business cards by a courthouse. I now like having access to the right info without it costing me a lot, wasting my time trying to google it , or dealing with idiots who don't know the law. Being a LegalShield member is the best!

I started several weeks ago and came from the insurance industry so I understood the value of these services. Most of us have learned to weigh our money against our legal rights. We actually believe that we don't even need legal protection. I've been explaining it like this. The fire department does everything possible to avoid ever having to put out any fires. The more preventative precautions they instill the less you'll need their big red truck. Because that's a service they understand, they soon realize that that is what we are doing. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," I explain all of this before they know the price and for my own amusement (coming from selling very expensive policies) I prepare them to be "sticker shocked", (At this point it's best have the application visible) and when they see how much it really costs, they wonder how were making money. That's an easy answer, and it's a buying question. If you're serious about making a change, then this is where you should be.

We would never be without our LegalShield membership or Identity Theft protection. We have had documents reviewed for our own protection. Phone calls and or letters wrote on our behalf. We have had numerous consultations and repeat consultations on so many different issues. There is nothing more empowering to me then to learn what my legal rights are. To be able to call my provider law firm and ask for information, and to have a lawyer in that area of law equip me with the information I need to protect myself when I am being bullied, this is truly legal muscle when I need it. We have 24-7 access to the lawyers. We have our free documents, and help from the law firm to fill them out to make sure we are covered legally. We have our free will and have it updated yearly. There is so much more that comes with the membership. We also have our ID theft protection which is also been priceless and has saved us so much heartache. Our provider law firm does not just make sure we are treated like gold, they truly care about us. I don't know any law firm and or lawyer that is going to call you back to make sure you are okay, and, do so after hours! There is no lawyer or law firm that we could find that is on-call 24-7 if we have an emergency! LegalShield ROCKS!

In February of 2014 I bought a small camera. $199.00. In July it stopped working. I called the manufacturer and they told me it was under warranty and to send it in. I did just that! After a month I called and was told they had to order a part. Then I waited two more months and called again. Same answer! A part is ordered. I called my LegalShield law firm. They sent a letter and one week later I got a phone call from the camera company asking for my address and what color camera I wanted and they would replace my old camera with the latest model which cost $50 more. I had the new camera in two days. Point: A call from an individual does not receive an acceptable response but a letter from a law firm gets immediate action. This was all part of my L/S membership. No bill!

I am handicapped and being on a fixed income (SSID) I got into a financial bind. My utilities, food and rent became more important than making my payment to my credit card. Hence the debt was turned over for collection. However, after trying to pay off the debt for over a year I was threatened by the collection agency that they were going to raise my monthly payment. I was barely able to pay the current one. Also even though I had been paying for a long time and the principal was only about $400.00 the accrued interest was $1300. I called my law firm and after they evaluated the situation, they wrote a letter to the collection agency and the $1700 debt was totally forgiven. I have both the legal plan and the Premium Identity Theft plans from LegalShield and made use of both today. Through my ID theft plan, I received an email notification about a new, unknown addresses associated with me. I immediately touched the bar on my LegalShield smartphone app which connects to the IDShield service, and was connected quickly to a Kroll licensed fraud investigator. With me on the phone, he began searching my records and calling several different companies to try to figure out why that notation had appeared. Not too surprisingly, each call was met with a recording and numbers to push for this or that. I could tell he has a lot of experience as I could hear the tones as he pushed buttons that quickly got him past all the walls and got to real people quickly each time. Each person was clearly following a prescribed script, or trying to, but he was all business and firm and quickly got from each person what they could give him. He and I were on the phone for 45-50 minutes, which was a nuisance, but without him I could have spent many hours, even days, getting nowhere. Immediately after getting off the phone with the investigator, I used the phone app again to call my provider law firm. The phone was answered immediately, the person who took my call quickly made notes of my concerns and passed them on to the attorneys in the firm who would be best qualified to help me with this particular situation. Four minutes later an attorney called me back and provided some very good, knowledgeable advice to me which made me feel much better and quite at ease. Nowhere else can anyone in North America get very needed help so quickly, for so little - every time it is needed. I know from 12 years experience as a LegalShield member that life is less stressful, and less expensive WITH the LegalShield membership, than it is WITHOUT the membership.

Legal shield definitely a great option. I needed an attorney out of state, there was a cost but I saved $1000 dollars using one of their referral lawyers and the 25% discount. I needed the lawyer and he did more that I even expected and I didn't even meet him or did I need to go to court with. Just so happen that He knew the Prosecuting attorney and was able to negotiate fairly. The ex wife was surprised that the attorney appeared in my behalf. Thanks because I would of been hurting financially and the truth was presented and the cut the suit by half of what the state was trying to get. The lies were exposed and the judge concluded it Fairly! Thanks Legal Shield & Parker Stanbury for a honest and skilled lawyer in Florida Law.

Legal Shield put me in touch with an attorney firm that asked me to fill out a form with all of my information prior to a consultation. The firm then sent 100% of my personal information in an email, completely open and in clear text, as a summary. They have clearly not vetted their attorneys nor their processes.

I had been a legalshield member for 3 years when I attempted to use my membership to get legal support. I submitted the form to get support several times to include- 6/12/2021 7/19/2021 8/10/2021 Neither Legalshield nor my assigned provider ever contacted me. I finally attempted to get support for a different issue in March 2022. For the first time, a provider actually called me. I gave them my information and asked to escalate. Then they went silent again. On April 19th 2022, I received a survey from Legalshield, which I rated as very low. Their loss prevention people began calling me. I asked for another provider but they said they cannot do that. At this point, it was clear that Legalshield had no intent of ever providing me a service.

I needed some legal advice about a court case I was involved in but they just referred me to some attorney for a "discounted" cost to retain, but even so it was way too expensive so it did me no good. These people are just for very basic legal needs, wills, eviction notices, etc. Not for complicated litigation... Edit:In response to the reply from legal shield, the opposing party in my wage case (my employer) has an attorney on retainer that has always represented him so its highly unlikely that Legal Shield has previously represented my employer.

We have paid them $24.95 for 2 or 3 years, we needed them to fill the firms and tell us what to do about getting our license back and all she did was email me the form that I could have gotten off the site myself. I thought,. Well maybe it is just that attorney, so I kept paying, now I need them to go to civil court, which I am supposed to have 2 free hours and an hour for every year I have paid and then 25% off anything over that time. I received NOTHING but a referral to an outside attorney and it is gonna cost me $1500 for them to file a motion and go to court. What a scam, I feel like crying because it's a foreclosure and the attorney doesn't even know about 877gethope that work with and help pay attorney fees from the opposing attorney and past due HOA fees. So I have to do something myself that I don't know what the language even means and I feel like they have led us to believe what they offered was real, and it's not true at all. $24.95 x 30 months wasted. Around $750 already paid to them to refer me to an attorney I could have found myself for free. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, PUT IT IN A JAR AT HOME FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.

On 07/04/2022 I discovered that Legal Shield had been taking $53.85 from my bank account unauthorized every month since 10/23/2021 thru 03/23/2022.. As soon as I realized what was going on I called Cordero to see what happened, he expressed that was not supposed to have happened and he would take of it by getting my money back into my bank account After Calling Cordero the second time he blocked my number, I called him from a different number and he picked right up, I asked him to please unblock my number, he told me NO and gave me his supervisor's number. I called his supervisor Mr. Barrington. Mr. Barrington expressed that he had spoken to Cordero on this matter and assured me he (Barrington) would take of it.. So far I have not been contacted and now Barrington will not will not answer my phone calls or respond to my text. I've hit a brick wall with this organization. I signed up when we were dabbling in rental properties. That didn't last too long, so Legalshield was only used for personal matters. Thankfully not a lot of those, but often I had a question on how something would affect my elderly parents, or something else I was associated with, but not a directly personal matter. They wouldn't answer those questions. Also, you can't 'easily' ask a general legal question. The phone screener requires a bunch of information about the person/company you are asking about - "general question" isn't allowed. They also require that you go through all your account and contact information with every new request. Doesn't matter that you just confirmed everything yesterday - have to do it all again if its a new request. A small thing I suppose, but an annoyance. In the end, I didn't get much value from it and cancelled.

First, LegalShield will guide you on what to do in your legal situation. Second, if you can't resolve, then LegalShield will provide letters and make phone calls on your behalf, this part is free with membership. If their letter or phone call can't resolve the issue, then this is where you can hire them at a 25% discount off state approved hourly rate for attorneys, which still saves you money. They do it this way because sometimes all it takes is a letter or phone call from a law firm to stop a legal issue. Which in return, saves you a lot of money by not having to hire an attorney.

And now they have added lower pricing if you are single, yea !!! I have had exceptional service from my LegalShield plan and have had many contracts reviewed, my estate planning for me and my wife completed without charge and because I have kids, the LegalShield Attorneys help us with tickets received in and out of the state I live saving me time and money on my insurance. I've been able to save money and make better and informed decisions for my family. Who ever wrote the overview has made several errors in "The Bad" section. There is no need for a "Trial Offer" because a member can cancel their service at any time without any penalties. Even after 30 days of use. You also have access to a referral attorney at a preferred member discounted hourly rate when you need representation in court. Most people are not in need of "regular" representation in court, unless they are criminals. Even then, your LegalSHield Network attorneys will take care you. So you see I "have" an attorney I dont just "feel like I have one....
