The people have been good but the device makes me nervous. I keep worrying that it is going to go off even though I have been told what to do if it does. I don’t like wearing it but I am still wearing it. The people are very helpful and polite and easy to talk to every time I call.

Response time is very slow- it takes several minutes for a call to go through which is very concerning to me considering that could be the difference between life and death and such is the reason I purchased the device in the first place.

It works fine. It is loud enough and covers the apartment. I like that it notices when he has a hard fall. One issue is when I called to get him help I said he didn’t need an ambulance but they sent one anyway. All I wanted was for someone to pick him up. I did get billed for something I didn’t ask for.

You would need to check with your county/local EMS to see what they charge for. Typically, if they go out there to just help pick someone up there is no charge, however, if he was taken in the ambulance there normally charges are incurred. If you were charged just to have someone come out there and pick him up, you would want to check with your local first responders about those type of charges.
