Too early to write a review but after reading all these negative comments, I am inspired to write something nice about Maxlend. I just took out a $300 loan. After making 9 payments, I will have paid back a grand total of $1,218 (assuming I only make minimum monthly payments). I don't blame Maxlend for the astronomically high interest. I blame myself. I read the Contract and I agreed to the conditions (I had no place else to go and I needed the cash badly). The process was Extremely Fast and EASY! The person on the phone was very Courteous and Helpful. At this time I give Maxlend 5 Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. If things turn sour and it's them, not me, I will give them a very bad review on this site.

A company named MaxLend I believe is a fraud company that illegally and fraudulently attempted to process a loan with my name, birth-date, email address, social security number, and fake address on September 22, 2204. The application information was clearly fraudulent because the street and address was not associated with the city and state the application contained. The company attempted to complete a loan application without my signature or my permission. The fact that the phone number, address, and city were not real should have been an immediate red flag and that it was fraudulent. Yet MaxLend continued to process the application and attempted to extort me. As soon as I became aware of the fraud (On September 22, 2024 via an email) I left phone messages and emails and the company did not respond to me. After some time I sent an email to their fraud department and verified my personal information with them. The Company responded to me and wants more personal information I am uncomfortable providing them like an affidavit, a copy of my identification, and a police report. They have refused to work with me and stop the fraudulent application process. I have requested that they remove the fraudulent credit inquiry from my social security number and they have not done it. It is my opinion this company is fraudulently attempting to use my personal information and to get a fake loan in my name.

While I was glad to receive the loan, I was told there would be 3 payments.] I was stunned. After receiving the loan there would be 9 payments and an exorbitant interest rate. I never would have accepted the loan under these conditions. I may have misheard the representative as she had a strong accent but have learned an important lesson. All the customer service representatives I interacted with were excellent. It was challenging to ascertain the interest rate until after the completion of the signing process, and the interest rate is quite high, bordering on predatory. Nevertheless, overall, your organization provided me with a solution in a difficult situation. I would not recommend this type of loan unless it is an absolute emergency and you are able to repay it by your next paycheck.

The process was quick when I needed emergency funds, though as others have said, the interest rates are crazy - I did pay mine off almost immediately and still got hit by some high interest woes, but I knew what I was signing up for. What I'm frustrated with, is the CONSTANT calls I'm still getting from them with vague messages, "we'd like to talk to you regarding your past loan" like, leave me alone? I'm done. If I have need of their services again, I would have reached out myself, but now after being hounded? I would not choose them again. It's been literal months and it's almost a twice a day call AND voicemail, ridiculous.

I will start by saying if I hadn't gotten myself into this predicament I would not have had to use Maxlend. With that said the interest rates are astronomical and are predatory lending at its worst. I will do whatever it takes to pay them off ASAP and move on. Do yourself a favor and avoid, no RUN from.

This site must be swarming with fake reviews because if you look anywhere else MaxLend's score is trash, as it should be! I took out $400 and made 4 payments of $137 before looking into why I was continuing to be scheduled payments. I went into shock when I saw the slimy maggots were charging me 757% interest, and that after *18 bi-weekly payments* I would have paid them $2,508 for my $400 loan! They wanted another $534 to pay the loan in one payment, but that would still total about $1,100, so I opened a new bank account so those parasites couldn't keep sucking away my hard earned salary. I looked into their contract clauses and the "tribal immunity" clause is nothing but legal woo designed to make people think MaxLend has some special voo-doo power that supersedes your state government's protection. It's common for payday loan predators to have that clause in their contract to scare borrowers into complying, but assuming your state has laws protecting borrowers from predatory loans, no judge is going to force you to pay a scummy payday loan agency illegal and predatory interest rates based on "tribal immunity" any more than they will allow someone to be sold as a slave based on a contract claiming you signed away your freedom. Rights are right! My state, Colorado, passed a law against predatory payday loan creeps that limit's interest rates to 36% so if MaxLend is trying to financially assault you find out what laws your state has to protect you from predatory loan crooks.

I was completely shaken by the Maxlend response to my already stressful experience of having my 24 year old bank account emptied by some fraudulent activity. My bank closed the account and opened a new one for me. I called Maxlend to alert them to my problem and ask that one payment be deferred. It was but before I could enter my new account number another payment was processed. That payment was returned because the account was closed and that put me in default. I have a long history with Maxlend. There were never any problems. I think I deserved better given that I made a serious effort to avoid any disruption to my payments.

So , i took a loan out when I was in a pinch and had to pay EZ pass fines to get my car registration fixed. The lending process is quick and it is easy, the money is in your account the same day.BUT BEWARE, it’s Very high interest and you will pay back 3 or 4 times of what you borrowed. This can cost you hundreds of dollars every paycheck for the better part of a year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to payoff ASAP. They get a 3 star rating because they are fast and the process is easy and getting in contact with them is not hard at all. They also give you your payment schedule for the entire term of the loan and the costumer service reps are also friendly and professional. maxlend loses 2 stars because of the high interest rate. Those that don’t have the means to payoff the loan within a month should stay clear. If you make enough to payoff within the first month and are looking to just take care of an unforeseen expense real quick it’s ok to get. They don’t directly tell you how much the loan will cost you but it is written on the documentation before you sign SO PLEASE READ IT ALL before signing. The payoff process is easy but they do take the current scheduled payment before you are even with them. They will contact you about taking another loan but all lenders do. USE WITH CAUTION and READ everything before you sign. Only use when in need of emergency funds , NOT to be used to fix long term financial issues !!!!
