Maxlend is a complete ripoff. You pay over $5,000 in interest for only borrowing $1,000. That is absurd. They call you every single day once a loan has been paid off. The last representative I spoke with sounded she was not happy to be at work, and ended up hanging up me while trying to complete the process! I pray to God no one ever gets desperate enough to get a loan from this company!

I’d rate this company 0 if it let me. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Their website doesn’t even work, for 3 weeks I’ve called and let them know the “make a payment” link is non functioning on their website and was informed many others have complained about this too, yet they don’t get it fixed. Ridiculous. If the IT department can’t fix a simple link glitch in 3 weeks they need to be evaluated. Same with the rest of the company. I’m paying this loan off ASAP just I don’t have to deal with their incompetence anymore.

My last interactions were very inconvenient. As a returning customer and previously paying my loan in full I was treated as a new customer. VIP status was non existent. I was being asked to verify my employment and check stubs once again. A lot of nonsense for a small amount.

I don't like the high APY. I've expressed many times in my call with MaxLend that I wanted to pay in 3 payments, instead I get the payment plan with the highest APY. It's a good place to get a loan, but not the best at listening.

The only reason it didn’t get a full 5 is because The payment is due the very next paycheck no matter how soon the paycheck is, could just be a few days away. I had a good experience with MaxLend overall. The application process was fast and straightforward, and I received the funds I needed within a day, which was a huge relief during a tough time. Customer service was helpful and responsive when I had questions.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the interest rates are quite high. It’s something to be expected with short-term loans, but it’s still worth noting for others considering it. As long as you understand the terms and have a solid plan to repay on time, MaxLend can be a reliable option.

My employer changed pay days from once a week to every other week and I t hankful for maxlend I paid two credit cards and also rid the negative at the bank till payday. All the customer service representatives I interacted with were excellent.
It was challenging to ascertain the interest rate until after the completion of the signing process, and the interest rate is quite high, bordering on predatory. Nevertheless, overall, your organization provided me with a solution in a difficult situation. I would not recommend this type of loan unless it is an absolute emergency and you are able to repay it by your next paycheck.

I was completely shaken by the Maxlend response to my already stressful experience of having my 24 year old bank account emptied by some fraudulent activity. My bank closed the account and opened a new one for me. I called Maxlend to alert them to my problem and ask that one payment be deferred. It was but before I could enter my new account number another payment was processed. That payment was returned because the account was closed and that put me in default.
I have a long history with Maxlend. There were never any problems. I think I deserved better given that I made a serious effort to avoid any disruption to my payments.

So , i took a loan out when I was in a pinch and had to pay EZ pass fines to get my car registration fixed. The lending process is quick and it is easy, the money is in your account the same day.BUT BEWARE, it’s Very high interest and you will pay back 3 or 4 times of what you borrowed. This can cost you hundreds of dollars every paycheck for the better part of a year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to payoff ASAP. They get a 3 star rating because they are fast and the process is easy and getting in contact with them is not hard at all. They also give you your payment schedule for the entire term of the loan and the costumer service reps are also friendly and professional. maxlend loses 2 stars because of the high interest rate. Those that don’t have the means to payoff the loan within a month should stay clear. If you make enough to payoff within the first month and are looking to just take care of an unforeseen expense real quick it’s ok to get. They don’t directly tell you how much the loan will cost you but it is written on the documentation before you sign SO PLEASE READ IT ALL before signing. The payoff process is easy but they do take the current scheduled payment before you are even with them. They will contact you about taking another loan but all lenders do. USE WITH CAUTION and READ everything before you sign. Only use when in need of emergency funds , NOT to be used to fix long term financial issues !!!!

If I could give less than a star, I would. This company is trash they take advantage of people in a financial crisis. I took out a $1400 loan and my final payment on it. I would’ve paid over $7000 on a $1400 loan which is ridiculous. Do not use this company.

This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH MAXLEND. I'm so very glad it was documented that they were NOT supposed to have taken ANY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. And it left me TOTALLY BROKE for the entire weekend, which was the worst predicament to be in when you have things that were scheduled to be done.

MAXLEND makes 4 times the money for the loans they provide. Mailed goal is to not help you out of a bind, but to make money off of bad circumstances. MY loan was for $1000, I have paid them $9000, yet with Maxlend interest rates I still owe $1000, be cautious of MAXLEND interest rates.

While I was glad to receive the loan, I was told there would be 3 payments.] I was stunned. After receiving the loan there would be 9 payments and an exorbitant interest rate. I never would have accepted the loan under these conditions. I may have misheard the representative as she had a strong accent but have learned an important lesson. I hope to pay off the loan byvDecember.

Being a former customer, I was able to get what I needed in a timely manner. For former/VIP customers, they should offer better incentives, i.e. a lower APR for payoff in 30 days, offer ways to pay it off faster for less money.
