I feel the product and process was oversold and not customized to me, despite providing information on age, location of crowns, photos, etc. I used the product as instructed but was not making progress and poor fit of the aligners was the result. Communication/feedback with the company is done by email and not timely, with 5 business day response time. Ultimately went back to early aligners and started over. New aligners were made after sending more photos of my teeth in several different aligner numbers. I increased the amount of time worn (I had paid extra for the nighttime set to supposedly work faster), increased the amount of time using the hyper byte, use each set 10-14 days or more, and I am still not seeing results! My current set # 5 is loose, #6, which I have been wearing now for quite some time still shows some gaps, and #7 does not fit at all!! I have been wearing aligners close to 12 months now with no noticeable change to the alignment of my teeth.

The customer service is good but the trays were designed in a way that shaped my teeth to appear straight but they don't fit together in my mouth. The results are very VERY uncomfortable and unnatural feeling. I use the top tray to keep my upper teeth aligned but I have had to let my bottom teeth do their own thing if I want to bar able to eat or feel comfortable. Extremely disappointing for the money.

The first 20+ weeks were great. There was a lot of movement and my teeth started to look better. Now I'm on my 35th set and I have gaps in teeth that collect food almost every time I eat. My teeth don't line up when I take the aligners off. It takes 10-15 min every morning for my teeth to fit together.

The results aren't similar to what the 3D treatment plan showed. My teeth also shift back quickly after a few hours of removing the aligners. But it's a nighttime aligners, I should've just saved the extra money and get the all-day plan, if I knew I would need to have them all day anyway.

I followed all instructions for each set of aligners. The last set didn't totally align my teeth like the 3D image shown on my account. Despite it I still have slight overlap on top and bottom. All I am being told is go back to #8 when I am on my last set. That does not fit me anymore. My concern has not been addressed well. I am disappointed.

my treatment time has more than doubled for top and bottom. Customer service is very slow, you have to sit in limbo for several days wearing misfitting aligners unsure of next steps while you wait for a response. While the process of doing the molds and the customer service through the purchase was good, I found that the top aligner from my first set does not fit properly at all. While Byte support was responsive and suggested I trim the aligner, which I did, this has not actually solved the issue, and I don't feel confident that the aligner is working as it should and have no way of verifying this with a dental professional.

They advertise if they can't help you then they will tell you so straight up. Not so. I have a upper over bite caused by veneers.. They said they could not do much but they could make my smile look more natural. They set me up on a 10 week plan and charged the full price of almost 2k, which is the same price for treatment taking many months, yet nothing is any different after the 10 weeks except my pockets are empty. Byte people called and texted 3 or more times each day before getting paid. Once they received the money and I started the treatment plan contacting them was a joke. A generic message that do to heavy business it could take awhile but they would reach out. The bottom retainer wasn't fitting properly. No one reached out for weeks, keep in mind my plan was for 10 weeks. Quite different a difference from before payment and after. The end result looks and feels no different than prior to the treatment.

I'm only on week 5 and had my aligner at least 8 or 9 weeks my dog got ahold of the byte vibration thing which I believe is what helps align your teeth but the dog got ahold of it and when I got in touch with byte about it they said it would cost me 296 dollars for a new one I had just spent all the money I had on aligners like I had another 300 dollars to spend i couldn't afford that price they said you'll just have to wear the aligners for a longer period of time because there super comfortable to wear not.

Update 9/5/23: The first round of aligners went well, though it didn’t quite get to the promised results. I reached out to customer service and they were very responsive and willing to do another round. Unfortunately, I had to get a filling and a chipped front tooth fixed, but because I didn’t let them know beforehand, I “voided the guarantee” and would have to pay for the new treatment plan against the insurance I purchased. Which is understandable, though frustrating given the necessity of treatment so it would have just been a courtesy heads up anyway. The real issue and reason for 1 star is what happened when I got the new set. The aligners I was sent didn’t cover my back teeth, which led to me constantly clenching my jaw to try to get them to stay put. I made a support request and was told this was normal and to continue wearing them. After 3 months, I was in excruciating pain. Like, crying every time I chewed anything harder than white bread excruciating. I went to my dentist who said the aligners were the only plausible cause and to stop wearing them for a few weeks to see if it helped. I sent the note my dentist wrote to customer service and they agreed with the plan of action. The pain went from 10/10 to 7/10 during that time, but 7/10 is still pretty bad. It seemed clear that the aligners were to blame so I stayed out of them for the next 3 months. That, along with 10 rounds of acupuncture, and I was pretty much pain free. ANOTHER request to the support team (you can’t just follow up on one email thread, it’s a whole new request every time), and they agreed to send a new impression kit to get a new set. They arrive WITH THE BACK PART MISSING. Just like the previous set that caused this problem, plus they were too high in the front so they would dig into my gums. Yet another support request, again told that it doesn’t matter that they don’t cover all the teeth. At this point I’m over it, have spent over a thousand dollars trying to fix their mess, and have irreversible TMJ damage so I requested to stop treatment and get a refund (seems like the LEAST they could do). I was told that I needed a dentist or a physician note to stop treatment, even though I already provided one the first time this issue happened. My dentist suggested I see an orthodontist since another patient had a similar issue and the companies typically push for more and more documentation before they take responsibility. The orthodontist I saw said the aligners are almost certainly the problem, but he doesn’t want to write the letter because he’s seen these turn into messy legal disputes. So, everyone sucks here, but mostly Byte, which I recommend you avoid. Original Review 10/25/21: Convenient, good customer service, good value. 5 stars.

I was really excited about the treatment and product but I got disappointed very quickly. Very aggressive sales strategies but until now my teeth didn't make an progress. I was very surprised that nobody was in touch with me basically after I payed. I had to reach out to the professional care team. They were really nice and helpful, yet I have to wear my !!night!! aligners now also during the day.

Everything has gone well for me. I have had a few weeks when the aligner didn't fit, but I learned to wear the previous one a little longer then switch immediately from the old to the new.

The top aligners fit perfectly but I have had to adjust every bottom aligner. They still don't feel like they fit well and I use the adjuster multiple times a day and wear them for 10 days straight.

No check in from orthodontist at all. Missing aligners in my box which is delaying my treatment by at least 3 weeks. No much support from their consumer side. I have no idea if my teeth are shifting but never had the opportunity to actually check in with a healthcare provider.
