My repair man was quiet, sweet and efficient. I didn't like the fact that it took a long time to get the part but I did appreciate that once the part was made available he came and it only took about an hour to get my stove up and running again. And the fact that I have this warranty made the repair much easier financially it cut my stress 75%

Customer service reps are useless, you spend minimum 1 hour on the call with them every time just for their overseas incompetent reps to not fix the issue. They say "I completely understand your issue" and then proceed to completely do the wrong thing. They have been charging me for service for 2 months and the contract on the portal says "expired", they don't even know what the issue is with it. Their customer service people are like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off. Don't recommend.

A vendor was assigned for a mini-split problem, unfortunately did not have the proper equipment to diagnose the problem. After two phone calls, new vendor was assigned at my request. I'm now optimistically looking for the next appointment tomorrow and the problem resolved.

The policy worked well for us, and the technicians were assigned in a timely manner during the first year of our policy, which was included with the purchase of our home five years ago. After that first year, we decided to continue the coverage and get a longer service contract. The quality of service has declined since then and the wait time for technicians to be assigned has increased. I am currently almost 2 weeks waiting for someone to fix or diagnose the problem with my water heater.

Service Fee (Winner: 2-10 HBW and Choice)
2-10 Home Buyers Warranty service fees range from $85 to $125. The service fee is paid directly to your contractor when they arrive at your home to complete requested repair or replacement service.
Choice Home Warranty has a set service fee of $85 no matter the requested repair or replacement service; it is paid directly to your contractor and eligible discounts can be applied.
Home Warranty Cost (Winner: Choice Home Warranty)
2-10 Home Buyers Warranty costs start as little as $47 per month. However, if you choose the Simply Kitchen plan, pricing will start at as little as $27 per month. To see the exact costs that you will be responsible for, you can get a free quote on the 2-10 HBW website.
Choice Home Warranty costs range from $43.75 to $52.50 per month ($495 to $600 per year), and you will be charged for any add-on coverage. While 2-10 HBW looks like the more cost-effective home warranty option in comparison it is important to note Choice’s flat service fee of $85.
