Terrible coverage and customer service. I highly suggest you stay away from Select Home Warranty! The process to file a claim and hopefully secure a vendor to do the work is terrible. I’ve been waiting 3 months and no resolution. The policy is not worth the cost.

Select home warranty is a fraud company, please stop advertising it and genuine. I have been played around for three weeks to get the refrigerator repaired but now they say that it's not covered. How is a repair that leaks freon by itself leaking not covered? Nowhere it mentions in t&c. Totally scam and it should be shut down. Very frustrating.

The worst of the worst. You have to jump trough hoops to get them to approve anything, then they don't repair or replace. All they do is throw you $150 and then it's up to you. Cost was $80 to have the service company out, so I really only covered $70 for a $1K job. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!

On my first call I was told that if you have two issues that are related (plumbing) you have to pay a service call for each issue. I've never been with a warranty company that did that. Then I was told I'd be charged a $75 fee to cancel my month to month contract. Never again.

I wish I could give no star. Terrible company. My washer broke which was only 2 years old, after 3 months still not fixed. Words cant describe how horrible this company is. Save your money and go with a different company. This company is all about taking your money and drag you along the way till you give up. Shame on you select home warranty.

This is total BS!! Such a waste of my time and money. They pull these stupid excuses as to why they cannot cover whatever is it that is broken. They have NEVER found someone to do a job , I have always had to find them myself. They short me the reimbursement amounts (and thats if they even pay)! I dont see how this is legal..

I called Select Home Warranty because I had a cracked heat exchanger inside my heater. They refused to come out and and repair it because of a possible carbon monoxide leak, even though it was only a possible threat. And, the heater was covered in my policy. When I told them to cancel my policy, they said there would be a CANCELLATION FEE.

I have been waiting 8 days for a technician to check out my dead AC unit. Select Home Warranty now tells me it will be another 1-2 business days before a technician will see my unit. I was told the same thing 2 business data’s ago. Beginning to believe I have been ripped off. Horrible service.

The absolute worst service I have ever had. They sent a technician who spent 5 minutes looking at the floor then left, the issue was plumbing and he did nothing at all. The claim has already been denied without anyone ever actually looking for the issue. Read the contract carefully, it's contradictory at best and malicious at worst

Absolutely nothing! I am a Realtor in Arkansas and this warranty is by far the worst. They cover nothing. I ended up buying a new dishwasher for $900 and they paid me $225. It took 9 months to get my money. I have a Samsung 2018 refrigerator. The ice maker is not covered at all. Will not recommend to my clients for sure.

My first experience with them . When I was purchasing the warranty i wanted to make sure everything is included including plumbing and its fixture. Now that I have a problem which requires the fixture to be fixed, they refuse to change the fixture and I have to pay out of my pocket to get it done or have to pay more $ for additional coverage.

3 Claims were filed in the last 6 months and not once did a technician arrived. I was forced to find my own technicians and the company will find a way not to reimburse any cost incurred by the policy holder. The service is totally unsatisfactory and unreliable.

They could not find anyone to perform services. Told me to find my own and they would cover it. We found our service tech, got the problem fixed. Received $170 to cover the $560 bill. Same on the next call except we received $00 for the $1400 service call. Nothing but horrible service. They lied to us. Would not return calls. Just a mess.

If I could give 1/2 a star I would. This company does not pay what they claimed they would in their contract, nor do they want to help remedy the situation. Additionally, if you try to cancel your policy they hold your money hostage, until you agree to receive whatever they feel like giving you back. It is unconscionable, and truly heartbreaking.
