These people don’t cover anything. It’s like paying for house insurance and when it’s time to rebuild after a disaster, they tell you they only cover the cost of the nails. Their case managers are rude and just want to talk over you. Believe the negative reviews. They are not even deserving on 1 star. You will waste money with this company.

Refused to cover AC replacement even though I have appealed it with the opinions of 2 outside licensed Professional Electrical Engineers. And when I tried to contact my case manager, she hung up on me. I did not curse or yell, just wanted more information as to why and what I could do. That is unprofessional and completely INEXCUSABLE!

Atrocious customer service. I’ve used them a few times and the quality of companies they work with is terrible. I’ve been yelled at, my tenants have been yelled at, i’ve been stood up on appointments and had the times changed day of for weeks at a time. I’m cancelling service and recommend against using them.

They closed my case when my heating system was not performing. Technician came week in week out but didn't manage to identify the problem. Paying $100 every time they show up without solving the issue hence crossing my case and making me unable to file new case.Poor customer services.

They charge $100 for someone to come and tell you that your appliance is broken. Then they fix the problem or they don’t. I had issues with my refrigerator. They couldn’t fix. I wound up purchasing a refrigerator on my own from Lowe’s. It cost $1,597. This company did nothing. They are a waste of time and money.

Do not give HWA your money. Do not allow your realtor include an HWA warranty in your home purchase. It's a scam. The company doesn't cover ANYTHING, the contractors are useless, each house call is $100, and HWA takes DAYS to find contractors.

I would give zero stars if I could. Their customer service continues to get worse and worse. We are 6 weeks out from when I placed a claim and still no resolution, and I continuously receive messages from them saying "the claim has been resolved" and we couldn't be further from it.

I would give zero stars if I could. The biggest joke of a company I’ve ever dealt with. From top to bottom, the support up to management, liars and frauds. They will string out your claim for weeks or months, and still find a way to weasel out of it. I’d rather run head first into a wall than deal with these idiots ever again. Never use!

I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They work extra hard to not pay for anything. We were without hot water for three weeks and when we finally got it fixed (by finding our own technician) they would not pay. They don't care about their customers. Cancelling now.

The absolute worst. My air went up in May. We did everything we were supposed to and today June 14th still no ac and I've been on hold for 45 minutes. Save your money we are in the process of purchasing our unit if we wait for them it will be winter. Thank God we didn't pay for the plan the seller did.

HWA has a system in place that makes it almost impossible to escalate problems... they never actually call you (the customer) with updates, approvals can take weeks, and although friendly, their customer service agents have no power to do anything, and there is no way to escalate.

Do NOT by any means buy the sewer line protection. It is a bait and switch of a scam. Good luck getting in touch with a decision maker either via phone or email. Their website states that you will be covered for a sewer line replacement, when in fact, they only cover spot repairs. $8000 out of pocket, I've learned the hard way to not trust them.

Agree with previous, they don't deserve one star! Horrible customer service. They put you on hold constantly to wear you down. Filed claim in early December for a GE Monogram cooktop. Had to settle for a GE Profile non-induction cooktop on Feb. 3rd. Still haven't received a cooktop!

Anyone purchasing a Home Warranty SAVE YOUR MONEY - particularly from these scam artists. $500 for the warranty and $100 a repair - so far I'm out $700 and ultimately had to pay for my own a/c replacement becaues they refused to honor the warranty - this was only after 1 month of home purchase. I called with a plumbing issue-toilet backing up in my home. The earliest a vendor can come out is in 1 week! There are a million people in Tulsa and there is one plumber. I feel like these people just steal your money and do not provide a service. I will never, ever buy a policy when purchasing a new home.

Sorry I had to give you even 1 star. Worst Company ever. Filed my first claim with my water heater and went 6 weeks without hot water before finally got ahold of corporate and they took care of it. Now dealing with overheating hot tub and its been 5 weeks and still no service provider! Customer service is the worst!! Buyer Beware :(

9/11/19 They finally returned my call after escalated via my realtor to a district manager, who by the way I was told was shocked as to how long we went without a refrigerator (now 37 days) today. I was offered a buyout and I accepted. Was half the price of my refrigerator but at least I finally got closure. Pretty sad. :o(

Freezer not working. Service company to asses problem in 4 days. No go. Next company was actually an IT company???? Next company only had 2 employees and was no sure when they could come. At last, a good service company that could come right away. Did not call and did not show up? HWA APPEARS TO BE A SCAM TO ME????????? BUYER Beware.
