I'll try again. I've already done this twice. I appreciated the professionalism, timely arrival and efficiency of the plumber who was assigned. There was a bit of difficulty trying to arrange a convenient time on my schedule. Once it was set up, everything went well. The only downside was the fact that he discovered another very minor situation he could have corrected in a matter of minutes. He was not allowed to do it because it was not part of the initial claim. I did not include it because I didn't realize it was a problem. I am not a plumber so I didn't even think that could have been part of the solution.

I had another warranty a year ago before CHOICE HOME -- they would not fill my repair, so I cancelled them -- heard about CHOICE HOME -- unbelievable phone service to put in a claim and then the repair was done within 24 hours ---- told my HUSBAND this is the best warranty company -- we paid for three years up front so hopefully I will get this same wonderful service on other claims in the future !

Anton from Infinity Power did an excellent job of diagnosing and installing a new fan or my bedroom. He came out during the day and saw that fan needed to be replaced and then got approval and returned in the evening to replace the fan. I regard this as excellent service and will recommend him to all of my friends in addition to using him for my future needs.

Choice Home Warranty responded to my repair request in record time. When the repairman came to my house, he explained what he was doing. New parts needed to be ordered and CHW supported the order with parts arriving in only a few days. In my past experience with another warranty service, the company only wanted to do the bare minimum. Choice Home Warranty, however, wanted the repair to be fixed correctly the first time. I am extremely glad I contracted with CHW.

this is the 2nd company that came out (Sears is BAD) This company Angel AC's tech Rodys S listened to our issue we have had over 4 weeks and he took the time to evaluate the situation. Fixed the issues and we now have cool air inside our home during the day at 76º instead of 81º during the day in the Texas unbearable heat that is very unhealthy for us elderly. After trying to get help for over 4 weeks to get service this gentleman gave us hope and the feeling of he cared for our problem.

First time around it worked out pretty good…..once I got me own technician to help. He fixed the issue was authorized rather quickly and I liked how simple the upload reimbursement process was! But What would be very helpful would be for the call center to do more then just phone back and have some real information as to where they are in locating a service provider. An Ongoing tracking system - how many calls did they make on my behalf over the 48 hours they had did to locate a service provider for my problem. After almost two days of waiting for anything from your end I went ahead & got my own technician. They can the very next day in the am. It really makes me wonder how many calls the call center or support people really did? Did Choice have a developed list of service people, Company, phone numbers email in my area town?

I have used Choice Home Warranty twice this year. 1st time I had refrigerator issues and within an hour of putting in the claim I received a notification that a technician would be here in 2 days. Great!! 2nd time I put a claim in for my air conditioner problem. 12 hours later I got a message from Choice that they hadn’t been able to find a HVAC contractor and if I wanted to use a HVAC company of my choice they would reimburse me. I did and the next day the technician came, he was required by Choice to fill out forms and take pictures. He did and we even called the make sure everything was submitted properly. 31 days later I received a check.

It was really easy to submit a claim and I felt the company did a good job of keeping me informed. Honestly, I was a little concerned when it was taking so long to find a technician to come out (my AC was out and it was 110 outside). The technician was very polite and performed his work very well. However, I am extremely aggravated with Choice Home Warranty due to the fact that what they replaced was only part of the service I expected. When a customer calls in for service to have their garbage disposal unit replaced, one would expect a replacement to be comparable to the one being replaced. That didn't happen!!! What the technician replaced was the garbage disposal unit LESS the electrical cord. I could not believe my eyes or ears when the service man said I would need to contact CHW and speak to them. I did call CHW and the representative I spoke to advised me that he would need to issue another service request...AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $65 FOR THE SERVICE. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? That electrical cord is part of the unit. Who would ever purchase that unit without an electrical cord??? I am so P----d O-f at your company for pulling that kind of service with me! I would expect that a company, such as yours, would have better integrity then that!

Since joining Choice Home Warranty, I have received nothing but exceptional professional service and customer service. The issue I had was partially repaired and in order to completely repair the issue, Choice had to approve the repairs. Approval through other warranty companies are generally denied when waiting for approval. Choice Home Warranty approved the repairs without an issue and promptly I might add. I am a very satisfied customer of Choice Home Warranty. I have convinced my daughter to become a Choice Home Warranty customer and she too is very pleased with this company.

I have been with Choice since 2014. I have well satisfied. They have handled my claims in a professional manner. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that over the years companies they have sent several times to do repairs have sent technicians who didn’t seem to know how to diagnose the problem/ or fix it, one was with a refrigerator that I finally replaced at my cost because the technician didn’t know how to properly do the repairs and we were without a refrigerator for several weeks. Next was an a/c problem, the technician said it was old and parts weren’t available, the company after I complained ,sent someone else out and he said it was the fan motor, ordered the part and made the repair. I don’t know how you select your repair companies but it seems there might be a better system in selecting them. Down time to fix a claim can be exhausting to a client.

In southeast Louisiana this time of the year we really rely on our air conditioner systems. It's been daily in the upper 90's. That's not that bad but when you add the humidity the heat index makes it feel like 108 to 110 degrees. I requested a repair on Tuesday 6-13-2023. The technician didn't arrive till the late afternoon of Friday 6-16-2023. That made for a few sleepless nights on the den couch. That air conditioning zone was still working, Then, when the tech arrived the coil was problem. It was dirty and he advised it is not covered. He said Sears could clean it for $500. On my retired fixed income that's going to be difficult to manage. I need to go shopping to find a company that can do it for less.

I've had a few different brands of Home Warranties over the years and Choice is my top pick. I find it a good value, they're a little quicker & more responsive than their competitors. We've submitted claims that have helped us save a LOT of money on repairs to items ranging from Refrigerator to Garage Door. If you're willing to pay your premium up front/annually they'll give you a really great price on it vs. Monthly. Once a vendor/repair shop is assigned to you the communication is good and clear- you'll always be in the loop via emails and texts on your status. There are 2 key reasons that I rated them 4 stars instead of 5. A- once you click on even a single ad or promotion, you will be INUNDATED with tons of annoying calls and emails. They called our home line literally EVERY DAY (once we had already renewed). B- when you do call them to sign up, the sales team is very very aggressive in trying to up-sell you for longer term agreements.

My first claim with C.H.W. I was very pleased with the service. I had MSJ Appliance call me the next day to set up an appointment. They came the next day to fix my Dryer, they didn't have the part and had to order it. MSJ explain to me what had to be done, they took there time to explain what had be done and had to be approved by C.H.W. , witch was approved right away, they said it would take about 5 days to get the part. when the part came in M.S.J called me to set up an appointment, they came the next day. Over all I was satisfied C.H.W. and M.S.J service.

Like the fact home coverage for appliances can be purchased through this company, don’t like the fact that they inspect the repair, get an understanding of costs for parts/labor involved and try telling to customer that “this appliance repair is not part of your appliance warranty or only partial service is covered”, I had a recent plumbing issue and the guy from repair company (external contract company for Choice Home) told me that the repair is not covered part of your appliance protection which is weird given how basic the plumbing issue was and I was told to pay $350, disappointed with how they service overall..

The Tech (Tom) from Bennett & Sons knew exactly what the problem was. Just a clogged pipe. Within 15 minutes, after clearing th clog, and checking the freon level, I had A/C. No freon required. The company (FPS), that you sent out, before this one, was not reliable. The tech (John) said my A/C needed freon, but he wasn't sure it was available, because of the supply chain shortage.

I liked that the process was quick and easy, and the claims specialist was easy to talk to and understand. However, the price that was offered by CHW to reimburse me to replace my oven was extremely low. CHW gives reimbursements in the form of a Lowe's gift card, not cash, but Lowe's does not even have an oven for sale that is cheap enough to be bought with the gift card. I know CHW gives their reimbursements based on their cost, so then the customer should be given their reimbursement in cash so that we can find a cheaper oven from another supplier instead of having to buy from Lowe's at a loss to us. Also, I think it's unreasonable to wait 2-3 weeks for an electronic gift card to be emailed to me. If it's electronic, I should expect that to be able to happen within 2-3 business days.

We had an issue with the refrigerator repair in Choice was FANTASTIC but they used Sears Home Service and even though we paid the technician at the time of service we are getting bills from Sears. Fortunately, I have only filed one claim since switching to CHW, but I was astounded at how easy it was compared to my previous warranty company. The call-back was speedy, the scheduling was uneventful, and the selected vendor was top-notch. There was not one single hiccup in the entire claim process and I couldn't have been more pleased. I recommend CHW on a regular basis and am happy to do so.
