A single, retired neighbor sent me an article which named your company specifically for 1 of 10 ways to save money in retirement. My son-in-law and I contacted CHW Sunday afternoon by telephone to get more information. Your employee, Albert, was very patient with our numerous questions about your service. Though he did a great job of trying to close the deal without undo, uncomfortable pressure, we just wanted to talk and think about it. On Monday, today, we contacted Albert (tho other employees tried to reach me as well) by phone. He again was very gracious and patient as he explained your services and answered further, detailed questions we had. So, today, my son-in-law each signed up for a year contract. I also talked with neighbors that had great things to say about your company after having used you and received excellent service! Another neighbor also signed up recently. Thank you so much! I feel so much peace of mind in my 10 year old home. Albert--you were great. Thank you so much.

My air handler wouldn't come on when the heater was turned on. The fan only worked when NOT on the "auto" setting, so my heat pump was burning LP to make heat but had no way to automatically move the heat into the house. If I set the fan to ON, when the heat unit turned off after matching the thermostat setting, it would just blow cold air. So I called Choice Home Warranty to schedule the repair. They scheduled a service tech to service the unit the next day. After the diagnosis, CHW rescheduled the tech to return after gathering the necessary parts. As of the time creating this review, the repair order is still in open status but due for completion this Monday.

I previously purchased a home that included a home warranty from another company paid for by the seller at closing. The service technicians that they sent out were very low quality and had to make several return visits for the same issue and, in one situation, had left some electrical wiring exposed and so incorrectly wired that it was dangerous. I switched to Choice and the service techs that they contracted with were much more knowledgeable and competent. I like the fact that, with Choice, I am provided direct contact with a specific rep rather than always getting a random person in a call center.

We were very pleased with Choice Home Warranty. We placed a claim on line, and received an email confirming our claim with a date and time, along with the company who would be servicing our claim. They also sent a reminder email about our upcoming appointment, giving us the technicians phone number if we needed to change our appointment. Our technician arrived on time, was very friendly and kind. He talked to us first about our problem and then proceeded to check it out and finished with replacing our garbage disposal in a very timely manner. It went like clock work. The only downside about the entire claim process, was the amount of time we had to wait to have a technician come. Our problem was a garbage disposal that was frozen,,,we had to wait for six days,,,very hard to cook without a disposal these days.

Excellent! The tech was wonderful... experienced, super customer friendly and did the job the right was. He knew within 2 minutes why our heat was not coming on - the last tech (from another home warranty co.) I had here for the AC in April, changed the thermostat and forgot to place the wire in the thermostat that transitions the AC to heat - he put lock tight on the screws so you could not unscrew the screws to add the wire. Had to get a new thermostat and now, the heat engages. Oh and, that guy forgot to slide the switch to Electric from oil/gas - even if the wire was there...the heat still would not have come on, I mean...really! This tech was beyond excellent! Impressed!!!!!

I was hesitant about a home warantee. Then my 15 yr old A/C DIED. THE AIR HANDLER IN THE ATTIC NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF A LEAK IN THE COIL. I WAS A LITTLE UPSET WHEN I WAS TOLD MY STILL WORKING COMPRESSOR OUTSIDE ALSO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I WAS TOLD THE OLD IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH THE NEW HANDLER BECAUSE THEY USE DIFFERENT FREON. I HAD TO JUNK THE OLD AND PAY FOR THE NEW. THATS OK I GUESS ITS NOT THEIR FAULT AND EVEN THOUGH IT STILL WORKED THEY WERE NOT RESPONCIBLE TO REPLACE IT. I UNDERSTAND AND EXCEPT THAT. NOW MY 15 YR OLD FRIG WHICH LOOKS NEW STOPPED WORKING AND I AM AGAIN GLAD I HAVE THIS POLICY. IT WILL BE FIXED IN A WEEK. THANKS CHOICE.

When I called Choice Home Warranty that I was going to be out of town the next day and I needed my dryer to be repaired ASAP, the repairman called my husband after he got through with the job he was doing in Kapolei, came to my home to repair the dryer since he was in the area. I didn't expect this service to that prompt. Besides fixing the problem, he also told my husband that he needed to change the heating element and he will order it and told my husband to call him when we returned from our trip. He told my husband that there was limited repair person and it might take a little longer but will try to accommodate his customers as best as he can. To me he values his customers.

I was very pleased with our experience this time. The first time we needed to make a claim...it wasn't very good. However, we were extremely happy with this claim (our 2nd). Our A/C stopped working at around 9:00 PM and we went online immediately to file a claim. We had a response back by 10:30 PM, the same night, with an appointment scheduled for the very next day. This was very much appreciated, since we live in Florida and an A/C is still very much needed at this time of year. The company (Above and Beyond A/C) and the technician (Christopher H) were remarkable. The were very friendly, knowledgeable and repaired the problem in minutes. Plus they gave tips on helping the A/C to work more efficiently. We are very pleased and happy with our experience and Choice Warranty has redeemed themselves. Thank you.

As in the past, when I make a claim, your response is very quick, but the appt time was actually disappointing, call Monday and technician from ApplianceSquad came by on FRIDAY. To me that wasn't quick enough. Technician came over did his job, got the $75 deductible but now he has to report to you to make decision. His decision is to get a new Microwave. Now I have to wait for your decision, which surprise me because, I am still without a working microwave. I thought once his expertise for a recommendation for a new microwave, I would have had that replace at that time. So now it a wait game not what I expected.

It was very easy to reach a representative! I spoke with Dawn, who was very professional and polite. She took my claim requests ( I had two) and stated that I would receive an email informing me when a service person would come. Immediately, I received an email stating that someone would be here tomorrow to service my washer. This was my first time filing a claim. I have been a member for two years. I love this quick service! The email gave me all of the details of the up coming service, including the service fee, etc. I am looking forward for the scheduling of my other service request. It seems that all appliances are breaking down at the same time. I am glad I am a member of Home Choice! The monthly fee is affordable. Thank You!

Good company with great people. Things break and as a customer if you are honest, Choice Home Warranty will never turn you down. You just have to be reasonable and understand that they are running a business too. Don't take advantage of any business. Warranties are great as long as customer is not taking advantage of them. I got CHW before moving into our new house. And I kid you not, since we moved in everything is breaking on us. Started with sump pump, to both AC's, dryer, etc. It was not like they never worked. They worked before but they happened to die on us after our move. Mind it, this is a relatively newer house (9 years old). CHW has already fixed 1 ac, in process of fixing another (with a little money from our pocket), replaced dryer. I have no regrets of choosing CHW over other warranty companies.

I placed a service request for our air conditioner. The service request was made Wednesday around 6:30 pm. I received notification at 3:30 am Thursday that a contractor was assigned. The service appt was made for Friday between 7-11 am. I received a call from the contractor Thursday letting me know he could come early, if that was okay with me. I was utterly astounded that he arrived Thursday around noon. In less than an hour, the air conditioner was working. This friendly expedited service from Keeping Refrigerant Moving was such a blessing to us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you Choice Home Warranty for such amazing service. This was our first service call, we are delighted!

I have had a great response from the customer service representatives while dealing with my A?C repair. I was not pleased with the ?handyman? that initially accepted our original claim I had a devil of a time with this person He demanded his copay three times and never once repaired my system After repeated conversations with the customer service Department we finally got a REAL A/C experienced technician and our system was up and running. Advise to customers Check for references and feed back on the technician that has accepted your claim through your bbb or any other social media . You have the right to decline their service !!!!

Our pool motor/pump stopped working. I liked the fact that CHW was going to pay $690 towards repair or replacement of our pool motor/pump. I did not like that the pool tech from NCC pools told my wife we needed a new motor/pump, but then told me he would fix the problem, and he wouldn’t order a new pump/motor. His price to fix it was in the !2300 range. I asked CHW if I could get a 2nd opinion. After getting approval for this, we contacted Green Valley Pool Service since they are one of Yuma’s most reliable and trustworthy businesses. Their tech diagnosed a very simple fix to the problem in 5 minutes, and our motor/pump is now working again! I liked that CHW gave us they option kf a 2nd opinion! So far, the pool pump and motor are working great! Thank you CHW! It was a win-win for bith of us!

Our dryer was not drying. Forgive me for saying this, but that is the job of a dryer! I called CHOICE Home warranty, within about four hours we had an appointment set for a local technician to come to the house. It was across the weekend, so it was for four days total, but the technician was very knowledgeable, told me when he was going to be here, fixed the problem quickly. Very easy experience. We have had Home warranties in the past, when we sold a home, and I vowed I would never make that mistake again. But CHOICE Home warranty is very different and they do seem to live up to the promises that they make.

I was with a different company for about 10 years. I called the company a couple of months before I signed up with Choice Home Warranty for a repair on my washer. They told me they couldn't schedule anyone until 2 weeks out. I was highly upset with this news. I thought when I'm paying a warranty company every month then I have them on retainer and they should have schedule me an earlier appointment than that. Well out with the old and in with the new. I called and changed my home warranty company to Choice Home Warranty. I had only been with this company a couple of months and had trouble with my air conditioner unit. I called one day, they sent a repair company out the next day. It wasn't just a repair company, but a reputable one with great service. Needless to say my air is running good and I thank Choice Home Warranty. I give this company 5 stars and would give more if I could.

Choice Home Warranty is, by far, the best home service company that I have ever signed on with. Both marketing & customer service representatives have been great and very easy to work with. All claims we have filed were approved, and the company finds proper & professional repair services. Claims can be filed easily with a phone call or on line. Customer service representatives are easy to contact if needed. CHW offers free months of coverage for referrals. One of my best friends and a close relative have both signed on, & since CHW rates are so reasonable, I have not reported my referrals. I highly recommend CHW!!

I had opened a service request with Choice Home warranty and Your Uncle Plumbing company picked up the ticket. They responded on Saturday morning saying they will be available on Monday. I called them and said Monday it was going to rain and I didn't want to have flooded basement. James who turns out is the owner of Your Uncle responded the call and he said he will try to see what to do. Within couple of hours by 11.00 ish AM James was available onsite at home. He sent tracking information so I knew when he will arrive. From the get go soon as I saw him.. I felt good and turned out to be our lucky day. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and he kept explaining everything along the way. It was apparently his day off as well and still he stepped up since it was a Sump Pump issue and he cared. He worked through different ways at attacking the problem till it was fully resolved. I will honestly recommend and reconsider him myself for future work. Thank you James for putting our concerns at ease and for the great conversation along the way!!

It is difficult when the repair company won't talk to you about when to schedule. THey assigned me Tuesday 8-5. I had an out of town family funeral and could receive the technician at 8 but no later that day because we were leaving at 10. I told them that through text and email in 3 ways with no response. I finally rescheduled late Monday pm and asked specifically for Thursday, the only day I was home all week all day. He arrived at the end of the time frame he texted. He was kind to return that day with the ice maker replacement. I am most grateful for that since I had two sisters all week and am hosting a luncheon Saturday.

Jason provided excellent service. He was through and offer different options from which I selected the best one for me. I was happy to receive my Choice contract information within 30 minutes of completing the enrollment process. In my opinion, that is excellent customer service and assures them that they are receiving the service they paid for. I would like to suggest that Choice agents provide information about all the products up front and not have to check with their manager or review the product while the customer waits. For example, Jason had to check on products he thought would interest me. When he found out I was of age to apply for the 6 year option, he had to check with his manager. Frankly, the checking with his manager made me anxious because I thought it was a scam.

I was not aware that having a home warranty is extremely beneficial when you are owning a home. After seeing everything that is covered it is definitely easy to forget that so much goes into building a house and keeping the house running in top shape. I am so glad that I decided to do a little research to educate myself on this priceless service. The senior account specialist that I spoke to was knowledgeable and explained pricing, coverages, and overall policy information. He was even able to offer me discounts for my prior military service and for being a first-time home buyer! I feel like this is the first business I’ve spent money for who did exactly what they said they would do. Most companies pull out the small print when it’s time for them to fulfill their service. Choice made it simple and easy to make a claim. I called and within 2 hours I received a call from Anderson Air who came out the next day and on time. They were in my house no more than 20 minutes and the air conditioner was repaired and serviced. Getting Choice is the best investment we have made in an effort to maintain all the appliances in our home. Great job Choice! I’ve told ALL my homeowner friends about Choice and Anderson Air.

My first Claim. At about 5 p.m. Tuesday April 19, 2022 I submitted a Claim Form to CHW that we did not have any hot water. Within minutes I received an email that my Claim was being processed. At 9p.m. that night I received an email that my Claim had been assigned and it it provided the name of the company that was assigned the Claim, Two Anchors Plumbing, their phone number and the window of time (3p.m.-8p.m.) that they would be at our house the next day. I called Two Anchors Wednesday morning to give them the gate code for our community. David answered the phone and thanked me for providing the gate code. David called me about 6p.m. to tell me they were on their way. David and Larry who is one of the owners of Two Anchors arrived within 20 minutes of the call. CHW only provided two Anchors with the information that the Claim was a water heater claim. They did not tell them it was a gas tankless water heater which is a different animal than your usual water heater tank. It is more complex with all kinds of sensors and of it has a mother board like a computer does. We were very fortunate that Larry in a previous job, was for years a regional supervisor for a large plumbing company that did plumbing for several developers and they installed a lot of tankless water heaters. That past knowledge led him through some basic steps that are not documented in the owners manual or anywhere on the internet and he was able to reset the computer and we immediately had hot water. I can't say enough great things about Two Anchors' Larry and David. Besides both being super attentive and polite they were able to put into layman's terms what they were doing. Larry with many years of plumbing and certifications is a wealth of information. I recommend CHW and of course Two Anchors Plumbing in Stuart, FL!

I have to say that Choice Home Warranty has been amazing. They are very professional, generous and have great customer service. They always give me options for paying my policy and really good incentives. When I have had an appliance die on me or have a weird problem, my stress level increases. They are always so very pleasant and the technicians come right away. I had to have my washing machine replaced and I was freaking out because I am a mom that can’t go without a washer. They gave me options to expedite my getting a replacement. I was truly thankful. I’m so glad I have them…no joke.

I have been with choice home warranty for over a year, and was with another company previously. The level of service I receive from choice is incredibly superior to the other company. When I have a claim they are on it and usually get a notice that it’s been accepted by the contractor. They can’t control the honesty of these people and it’s up to the homeowners to report them for either a no show or accepting the $85.00 service charge and never seeing them again. When you have this kind of dishonesty report it and choice takes it very seriously. This company is great and I highly recommend them for your repairs. You won’t regret signing up with them. They are so responsive to your needs and have a great attitude when you call and can understand the person at the other end as a hearing impaired Marine Corps Veteran. I filed 2 claims online around midnight. The next morning I received an email with the pool pump appt. set for 2 days later. That went well and the tech had the new pump on his truck. Great experience. The other claim was for a AC Fan Motor that was not working. I called CHW to verify they had the claim in their system. They said give us till the end of the day to assign the claim to a tech company. The next day the tech came out and got authorization to replace the Fan Motor. This claim also went well. (I did give the tech a lot of info. as to what I had already discovered) The bottom line is this: know as much info. as possible about the problem at hand, communicate clearly to CHW the info. and talk and participate with the tech if at all possible. Be a informed and engaged consumer.

We have had Choice Warranty as our service provider since 2015. We have never been disappointed with any service they have provided for us. Home Warranty Service is a insurance, you pay for it so when you need it, it is there for you. Choice has not raised our rates since 2015 and in these hard times of inflation that truly is a blessing for retires as us. We are in our 80's and we deeply depend on dependable companies such as Choice in our time of need. We have heard some horror stories about other home warranty companies, but we can honestly state that Choice Warranty Co. has been a company for the past seven (7) years that we depend on if any of our homes covered devices fails and they have been there for us each and every time.

My hot water heater was malfunctioning, I called CHW, they sent a technician the following day. The technician told me the claim for replacement might not be accepted but he will put it in anyway. The technician told me if not approved, it will cost me around $2,200 to fix the issue. Ooh boy!, I was already sweating, calling different specialists for quotes. 45 minutes after the technician left, I received an email from CHW that my claim was APPROVED. It was like a dream, unexpected, It was a joy over filled, And they were waiting for my consent so the job could be completed. Thank you so much CHW.

Having Choice Home Warranty for a few years it has been comforting knowing we have this level of coverage for major repairers that might occur and minor ones as well. Always, when I've placed a request for help with a repair I have done it with the confidence it will be quickly attended to. I appreciated staff who have helped with prior repair issues and have just renewed our policy for another 5 years and finalized that contract with the help of Leo Sobbagh. I've heard horror stories about home warranty companies but my experience has been great so far. I called in a request and was given a claim number. Within 10 hours I had an email with the assignment of the contractor to come out. I placed the claim on a Friday and the technician was scheduled for Monday. The technician called to let me know what time to expect him so I didn't have to wait around so much. He got there, got the job done quickly and explained what the problem was. I paid him the call-out fee and he was on his way. I would definitely recommend Chiice Home Warranty to any homeowner.

Choice Warranty has been an efficient and a professional company who actually responds to calls. Not only do they return calls, their contracted technicians do as well! I've never heard of Choice before but I've decided to give it a try after I did some online research. I currently have American Home Shield for another property, and it's been extremely frustrating for the last 3 1/2 months, and is still not resolved yet. Once my contract is finished I'll switch over to Choice. The bonus in all of this is the representatives from Choice are U.S. employees with coherent communication skills and 100% of American Home Shield employees are from off shore except for their salesmen. Having the opportunity to compare both companies at the same time gives me a true assessment of a company's integrity. My choice is Choice!

Decided to switch from American Home Shield to Choice because keeping it long term made better dollars and sense for how I use it. The monthly premium is lower with he per service call being 10 dollars more and while I pay monthly I don't have month service repair calls. That said, in the 3 years I've had the service I have called them for 6 repairs. Washing machine once. Dryer, once at a different time. stove heating element. and then I filed 3 plumbing claims Garbage Disposal in Kitchen stopped working, faucet drip in hall bathroom and the toilet had become unseated in the hall bathroom. They sent a service tech who combined all of those into one 85 dollar service and replaced the garbage disposal with one more powerful, completely replaced the faucet in the hall bathroom and reseated the toilet. The tech considered it all plumbing and should be covered under one service call and called Choice Home Warranty and they agreed. Great Value I'm still a paying customer of Choice Home Warranty

I was in an emergency situation…just about to return home from a destination wedding and our honeymoon, I received a picture on Tuesday afternoon from the house sitter about possible water damage that was just noticed. Got home the very next day and it had gotten much worse in just 24 hours! As soon as I received the notification on Tuesday, I file a CHW claim and by Wednesday, they had scheduled a plumber to come out on Thursday morning! The plumbing company they sent was amazing, from confirming the appointment, sending status updates for arrival times, determining the cause of the leak, the calming me down as they explained the possible extent of the damage, explaining the process for repair & restoration, all the way to fixing the leak! CHW approved the repair and cleared the way, in regards to peace of mind, for the restoration process to begin. I am so thankful to CHW and the plumbing contractor for fast action and coverage!

I have 2 experiences of repairs with them till now. One for a failed refrigerator in July and another for an issue of a furnace at my home recently. Both times, I logged in the claim online, it was immediately acknowledged and shared with their vendor network (as informed to me). Within a day I was assigned a technician, who visited within a reasonable time (a day or two) to diagnose the issue and repair. While the furnace was repaired on the same day of visit (which was a day after reporting the issue), the Ref needed longer time as the repair was more significant. In either case, all I had to pay was a one time service fee for the technician's visit as per the contract. Rest everything was taken care of by Choice without any fuss. The technician was very courteous, did a good job in keeping me informed of the issue, the process and finally getting the issue fixed. All along, Choice also kept me informed of the process by posting progress of the process in my a/c of its website. Overall, a reliable, comfortable and satisfying experience. Good work Choice!

Today is Friday November 5th the issue that brought them to my home was we didn't have any hot water on Thursday the 4th I also called a company I've dealt with before and he couldn't even relate my pilot I have a gas water heater didn't even try cleaning anything said there was sentiment build-up but I didn't have an expansion tank that I should have had so I so I set up temporarily believe it or not a new water heater install but ended up sticking to my guns not having them get here So when the Tech got here from CHW is from CH w's list of contractors contractors he did remove The sediment build up, then re lit the pilot!! Paid low deductible. A newly installed water heater thru other company would have been 2200!!

Many times Choice Home Warranty came through for us. It has been good when processing claims. But certain times in the past, they did look for some loopholes or a sub-standard contractor was used, when we had redo and re-incur a new contractor and a new incident all over. However, lately Choice Home Warranty has started using slightly better contractors. Customer service has been good both when you claim, and of course, when you renew. Overall: Is it worth your money? This is pretty dicey for each individual. As a customer, you feel when a claim is put, it goes through and when that does not happen and you feel you already sunk the cost in getting a long term policy and additionally incurring a service charge, a customer feels like they never break even. With CHW, we have had the claims processed and amounts appropriately calculated in the case of a replacement. I have been a long standing customer for CHW. I renewed three times with them. I would want to ensure the risk averseness vs. cost benefit analysis is done. In some people, the risk averseness may be a too high a factor driving them to take any home warranty policy even though the benefit they get on the policy for the tenure may not be much. I hardly incurred claims in the last three years, especially owing to new appliances for which we again buy extended warranties. And the home warranty always looks for loop holes with big ticket items like A/C units. So, you have to weigh your options carefully.

We are new to choice home warranty and did not know what to expect. Our first claim was our dishwasher and Jamie with jn appliances was quick to respond and was friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced a fuse in the dishwasher which is a very old model but we want to keep if possible. Unfortunately it quit working on first wash cycle so we put in a second claim. Our claim was instantly generated and we would be happy getting the same technician again if possible. Even though our dishwasher is not yet working, we are happy with the effort from choice home warranty and are secure in knowing your company will ultimately take care of us!!

The young man 'Nick' was very professional and yet very nice. He approached the job with confidence and within about 3-40 mins had the problem fixed.Only thing is my amount to pay has doubled..and for me that makes a hardship as I live on social security. I am Han d clapped in a wheel c hair so I cannot work. Your company would do a great service to have reduced many for handicapped seniors. I am grateful my dryer is fixed but now I have to be careful how much I use it..lol..$$$ everything is about money And politics..Thank you tho..i appreciate how quickly you got the problem fixed. Since this will be my first time dealing with this company I'm going to speak about my experience with Rep. Tracey. She called meright away after requesting a quote and gave me all the information, answered my questions and held while I did a 3-way call with my husband so we could hear it together. After answering his questions and giving us a great deal 3.5 yr plan/promos. We decided to come over to CHOICE HOME WARRANTY. I hope that we will be as pleased with the plan as we are with Tracey. The customer service was very friendly & patient with me trying to explain the problem I was having with my washing machine. I am very hard of hearing so she had to repeat herself several times & did not make me feel bad because I could not understand her. The service tech that was sent to my home on 8/13/21 was very professional & it didn't take him but a few minutes to find what was wrong with the washer. After his complete inspection, he determined the washer would cost more to repair then it was worth. This was Priority Appliance Repair, Tech-Yuriy D. If I have any other appliance problems, I would always request him.

Choice Home Warranty so far hasn’t let me down. I purchased my home in April 2021 and have had two incidents, 1st my hvac system was clogged and started leaking I called choice and they had a vendor scheduled within 24hr to come out to fix it, 2nd incident was a day ago my pool pump had a leaky valve and I went online put in a claim and within 2hrs a vendor called and said he was near by and could stop by to take a look at the pump to see what all work needed to be done and after inspecting the pump he knew exactly what was wrong and repaired it right then. Each service only cost me a small service fee instead of a huge repair bill that I in no way could afford being a 1st time homeowner. I highly recommend this company to protect your home and wallet. If anything changes over the years I will do an update .

110 degrees and my a/c died! I called on Friday night and the earliest they could schedule me was Monday. That certainly is understandable with the current Heatwave I'm sure many people are having problems. The technician showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment, and couldn't have been any nicer. I am fostering a high-energy dog who was pestering the tech to throw Frisbee for him. The tech was more than accommodating and got me up and running in less than 30 minutes. I forgot the technicians name and can't find the paper I wrote it on. Shame on me it's only four letters and started with an R

A broken AC is never a good thing, but a broken AC during a Louisiana summer in the middle of Extreme Heat Advisories for consecutive days would be catastrophic! In less than 24 hours of my AC stopping it's cooling , I had a technician at my home with my AC blowing cold air again...yes, less than 24 hours! I've had several home warranty companies in the past. But never have I had a claim filed and completed in less than 24 hours with any of those companies until I became a customer of Choice Home Warranty. I recommend CHW without reservation to a home buyer, home owner, or Realtors searching for their client's prospective home warranty needs.
