Submitted a claim for a dryer. The repair team came out which took about 10 days which I understand. They found the dryer to be not fixable, so the replacement option was initiated. The amount was low, so I discussed it with a claim representative, and we received a little bit more, but still well below what the actual replacement is. The biggest issue I have now is that the e-gift card is the only option and the process to issue it is two to three weeks. This whole process is turning into a six-week affair and we are without a dryer. I am disappointed this process is taking this long and feel you could improve on this service.

The company is great but they need to have a emergency person for every warranty, like are furnace wasn't working right and it was cold I called Friday at 12.00 and no one contacted me until Sunday to set my appointment until Tuesday. The company sent to fix my furnace was AM to PM heating and cooling the guys name was Paul he was very nice and he new what he was doing. It's just ashame they couldn't of got someone sooner to check my furnace out and it was cold that weekend. But over all they fixed my furnace and it's working now.

I was left with the idea that my issue was covered. I later got an email stating it isn’t covered under my contract and I could appeal if I wanted to. The parts have a 10 year warranty. But the issue was that it wasn’t due to normal wear and tear. I didn’t know what to do. I finally called the office and asked for the technician’s note be read to me, in case I had to call someone else. She said that the parts are covered but there are additional fees to get the warranteed parts, etc. I told her that was fine and to get the parts, and they will install them. It’s too bad the email said nothing about this. Would have been nice if this option was offered in the email. Now everything will be done.

I have used Choice Warranty for many years for different properties. Custer Service needs to notate your issues down better. When, the technician arrive, what they have written down to work on is totally different when they arrive to your home. Having the customer to call back in to the office and wait to talk to someone, and then they say have the technician to send in their diagnosis, after the customer has already reported the problem, finding out, not everything hasn’t been wrote down. I find that to be unprofessional.

Not reliable in an emergency. My sewer line was backed-up and I needed a plumber ASAP especially with 6 people living in the house. I submitted a claim with CHW immediately, but they could not send someone until 4 days later! Fortunately, I have a warranty plan with 'Home Serve' for sewage issues, and they immediately sent a plumber out within a few hours and resolved the issue! I did not know that 'Home Serve' requires their technicians to provide same-day service no matter the issue. I am planning to switch to 'Home Serve' for all of my appliance, HVAC, and plumbing needs. I also called CHW to cancel the 4-day-out plumber, but the customer service rep failed to cancel it. I had to call a second time when I started getting reminders of the plumbing appointment. Also, the plumber that I received for a previous claim was a nightmare! Among other things, he failed to re-fasten a pipe under my sink so when I turned on the faucet after he had left, without resolving the issue, water started flowing from the cabinet onto the floor. Choice is the second warranty company we’ve used. It’s head and shoulders above our previous plan. The response times are considerably shorter with Choice. The contractors have been of a better quality as well. Our previous plan seemed to be headquartered in a third-world country. Choice has a call center that’s more professional. It’s a pain to have to get a repair person. Going through a warranty company makes it cumbersome too. But Choice is surprisingly prompt in their response times. So, it’s not terrible.

Prior experience was horrendous. Had to get my own contractor. Choice would not reimburse him, so I only paid $65 and he ate the rest of his $150.00 bill. Most recent experience turned out very well no thanks to Choice. A/C Company was excellent. However, Choice sent him the wrong property address and spelled my name wrong. Contractor never got to my address on the appointment day, which was last Friday. Appointment was rescheduled to last Monday. I live an hour away from the property. Had to spend 2 days there waiting for Contractor and finally got job done perfectly. The owner of the A/C Company and Technician Jaimie saved Choice's reputation on this one.

I was able to set up service via the website. I got emails confirming the service time and provider quickly. The repair person arrived when stated and was efficient in doing the repair requested. It is a little too early on one repair to be certain all things are ok but this is just due to some "run time" and not due to poor performance or repair person.

Been with CHW for 6 years and have had a few opportunities to call for service. Overall service was as expected. Had to wait for parts to come in so that the technician could repair our equipment. Some inconvenience but nothing that caused major disruption in our lives. All technicians performed to work as expected. We had to settle for a cash back because of the age of the equipment.

I have had 2 techs from 2 different companies come out to work on a problem! I got a quick response from both when the problem had its quirks and both techs responded back quickly and I was rescheduled quickly by CHW one one and other advised part had to be ordered and would be contacted when part arrives! So far so good and worth the monthly fee and service charge! Much cheaper than have a tech come and you pay for it with an arm and a leg!!
