Our frig just went out and we called choice warranty. They set up an app. for service man to check it out. He was very professional and knew in just a short period of time what the problem was. He then ordered the part. He returned to to install the motor and we were thrilled that the frig is working properly again. Very happy with our Choice Warranty!

I had trouble with the first company you sent out missing their service window and then rescheduling my service appointments on me despite me calling to schedule a date that worked best for me. I called choice and you canceled A&E and reassigned my case to another service company. The next company was great and did not miss all their scheduled service appointments and showed up on their first appointment window unlike the first company. I was doubtful of your company at first with the first service company you assigned but you resolved my problems immediately!

My first experience with CHW, I had to provide my home inspection so they could determine if my issue was preexisting. If I did not have the inspection I'm not sure they would have covered it. After I struggled to get them the pdf since it was so large a file the email kept rejecting it. They reached out to me and helped me get them what they needed. Once they had the inspection things moved quickly. There was an extra fee on top of the 65$ home visit. I did not see anywhere in their paper work that stated there would be more $needed to complete the repair. If you deny the extra money then they cancel your order. Not sure what that money went to it was not specific.

What I like best is they listen to their customers. When my wife and I came to you all one question my wife ask do you listen to your customers and I was told yes. So far so good. We where with someone else. My wife ask them could they just put us another dryer in our house that was having the same problem they came out to fix before they told her the next thing we knew our house was burning down. I was frustrated about my warranty contract because a serious mishap happened. When l contacted the claim department they were unable to executed it. I was hurt because it was a 11:00p call and l was told l wasn’t covered. Yikes happened and the next day l called customer service and they transferred me to the retention department. They listened to my situation and worked with me wholeheartedly. I truly appreciate it

Now, my concern is that because they have a great numbers of subcontractors, I might not always receive the same level professionalism or customer service from different companies; however, so far I had all good experiences with the repairmen.

I appreciated being able to place my service request online after hours. The next morning I already had an appointment set with a vendor to do the repairs. We had to change the time though because we both work and would not be home at the pre-set time. The vendor answered the phone early the next morning for me and resetting was a breeze. I do feel however that CHW tends to send the cheapest known vendors to do repairs. That is not ALWAYS the best idea. I feel like for the most part you get what you pay for where service and quality are concerned. We shall see how this repair goes. So far so good. No complaints as far as scheduling. Vendor was quite friendly and easy to work with. Hopefully the repair will be just as seamless . Anna K

Lisa did a very thorough job of getting me the best deal she could on our home and our rental house. Now I can go out of town and not worry about my renter and any unforeseen mechanical problems! also, she locked me in at a better rate so that in the next 3 1/2 years I won’t have to go through the renewal process and possibly have a price change. I’ve had other policies through a different company and their coverage was not as good as this one.

I haven’t had the opportunity to fully use them yet for any appliance breakdown but I can say that signing up with them was pretty easy and the rep I spoke with answered all my questions. Super helpful in making sure that my appliances would be covered and for the nominal cost of a service charge to have someone come out and fix or replace what’s broken seems pretty reasonable to me.

I am in the process of getting a divorce and wanted to look into home warranty so if things broke I would be able to get it fixed. Tonie helped me get a senior discount because I'm over 55. Well I got the premium warranty because it covers AC and heating and many other things that other companies only cover at an extra cost, The rate was better than their base ones also. It gives me comfort knowing that I got coverage now.

Submitted 1st claim on-line. Within hours I received an email telling me what day (tomorrow) & what time range the tech would be there. Got a text & call 1 hr. prior to arrival and he arrived on time. Very professional appearance and behavior. Did his analysis within 20 min., explained to us what was wrong and what he was going to do and then did it. Got approval from CHW and ordered all parts needed. Made an appointment for completion in 2 weeks. Couldn't be more pleased with this first encounter. Glad I switched.

I received a follow up call in the morning from Amy, after my initial call the day before that was not giving me the whole picture of what Choice had to offer. My referral came from LegalShield Member Perks Program so I was inclined to go with the higher rate your company offered than what my neighbors are paying for a competitor. She was able to answer my questions to help me make the decision to override the price which the previous salesperson was not able to do. She had good customer skills and helped to overcome the increase price obstacle because it wasn't the lowest price I was offered which was my Condo Complex. Only time will tell if I made the right decision.

Service and response from the vendor to fix my AC was prompt. Since it was AC and Maryland was experiencing extreme hot weather, I requested the vendor to expedite the service call which they were able to do. The technician was able to identify the problem and fix it within a short period of time. I also called the vendor thanked them for their service.

i have had Choice Home Warranty for over 7 years. I have had wonderful experience with them. I own an Airbnb and have it for that also. It is true peace of mind to know that all I have to do is put in a request and in a short time I have an appointment set. The fee is very affordable, and I never hesitate to call for service. The service people always respond promptly and give excellent service. I will never not have Choice Home Warranty. Very dependable company.

Quick response to filing claim, but very long wait for actual service for our A/C unit. Not really unexpected, considering the gigantic heat wave we were in. When problem arose, a call to Choice had them make a super effort to get us re-assigned and resolved immediately. We have been with choice for years and are pleased with the responses and the quick, free repairs that have been made. We can't imagine having to try and find someone to call for help for the various sorts of repairs needed, that required so many different types of professional help. One call does it all!

This was my first experience with Choice HW. My dishwasher failed (on Friday the 13th) and Choice had a repair company at my house on Monday morning. A part needed to be ordered, so the same technician came back on Friday to install it. The technician was awesome; he was competent, friendly, answered all my questions and he cleaned up before he left. I’m very happy with Choice HW.

Sometimes you need to ask what is and isn't covered. Sometimes it is a grey area. The best part about Choice is they go out of their way to satisfy the customer. The field agents are very knowledgeable and want to repair your claim. I always cooperate with them and they diagnose the issue as long as you inform them exactly what took place. The next day, an HVAC tech had our AC on & running again. It turned out to be a “bad thermostat”, nothing major. I’m not sure how CHW is with more major repairs but for now, I am fairly satisfied both with CHW and the HVAV tech they sent from Valley View.

Choice is the best. I've been with them for 4 years and they've always given me what they have promised. This last breakdown was a garage door motor opener and they sent #1 Garage Door from Orlando to fix the problem. In 1 hour the tech installed a new motor with logic board and my problem was solved. The tech was courteous and knowledgeable and tightened my springs to make sure the door opener would work to perfection. He even lubed the rails. What more can one ask from a warranty.

I have Choice Home Warranty and they are outstanding. I recently had a problem with my dryer and garage opener. They came to fix the dryer and decided it wasn't worth fixing and gave me a cc for Lowes to get a new one. They also came and replaced my garage opener and it works perfectly. Both appt came the next day after I called amazing. I have a 5yr contract because you never know when something breaks and you don't have the money to fix it. For a $45 service call they either fix it or replace it and you can't beat that.

During COVID, when I placed a work order, the answering service will encourage me to use the on line appointment, which I am not fond of, then immediately, I will hear this voice which offer to help me place the work order, it’s very smooth, within minutes, my appointment is set and I get a claim number on my email. We joined Choice Warranty last month. On Wednesday evening our AC went out. We checked things out as best as we were able and couldn't find the problem. We called Choice Warranty and they responded shortly to our inquiry and shortly after that an appointment has been set up for us on Thursday. Our technician arrived during the first half of the window of the appointment. Within 20 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was on his way. Excellent service all the way around. Wow! Choice Home Warrenty was so fast at responding to my call and sent a washer and dryer repair man in just 1 day! Unfortunately the dryer is not fixable. Choice Home Warrenty is going to give me credit for about 334$. But again Unfortunately they are giving me a gift card to Lowes. It's so Unfortunate because I purchased a new dryer from Home Depot. Our washer was leaking, CHW sent out service provider. He was unable to repair it. He let CHW know & it was only a few hours when we got an email from them saying how much they would give us towards another washer. My only complaint is if service had been quicker I wouldn’t have been 10 days without my washing machine. We are thankful to CHW for being so prompt with helping us get a new washer!

When my dishwasher quit mid-cycle, I contacted Choice Home Warranty. Their response was very fast, as was the response from the technician they sent. Jason from Lone Star Appliance Repair was thorough, cheerful and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Although the problem was only a thrown breaker, at 73 with a breaker box I cannot reach without a ladder, it was worth it to have someone fix it and make sure the dishwasher was working. Great service all around.

Been a Choice Home Warranty customer for 5 years now. Provides peace of mind from big repairs. Whenever there is a issue, I have always had to escalate to get things done, but not this time. The Garbage Disposal motor burnt out. Technician was sent the next day the claim was made and a new Garbage Disposal was approved and replaced within couple of hours. Was very much thrilled with this experience and hope it continues.

My refrigerator went out, where it would not get cold or freeze. I went on line to put in a claim. I received a quick reply stating that a technician will be coming out to service my refrigerator. We came as scheduled and wasn't able to repair my refrigerator. Of course I paid my 65.00 service fee. He called hours later and said I should receive an email in regards to my fridge from Choice Home. And I did. Open the email with a congratulations on replacement of my refrigerator. The only thing that I disagreed upon replacing my fridge with a single door refrigerator, Although I have a side by side. Speaking it's really an older refrigerator. They offer me a ecard to Lowes. For a fraction of the price I paid for it. It would have been great if I had cash app. So I could have bought a fairly new used one of my choice. But I'm happy with the outcome I would just add a little extra for a new one. On the other hand if it had of been newer. That would have be a problem. Now I'm waiting on that ecard to Lowes. Oooh It could take up to 30 days. That's sucks.

I just had my first experience with your company. The repair appointment was made immediately and the technician arrived on time. He was polite and cordial and I had no concerns until he was ready to leave. I noticed a stain on my tiles just outside of the laundry room that looked like it was caused by some sort of grease. The technician insisted that he used a tarp or carpet on which to work and that the discoloration on my tiles were not his doing. All I know is that the stain was not there prior to the repair. This is the third time I am relating this story to you in a survey. I still have not received any response from your end!

I called as soon as my appliance needed service (on 07/03). The person who answered the call was very prompt. I received an email within a couple of hours with a response that the tech would be able to accommodate us on 07/05. This is really amazing being July 4th Holiday weekend and I was expecting a response that the next availability would be another week. I have been a client of CHW for a couple of years now and they have never failed to respond PROMPTLY when I file a claim. Only once did my insurance did not cover an issue. The icemaker on my refrigerator. But that's alright. Just check your policies closely before filing your claim. They were nice about it. My lights and plumbing issues were handled successfully within 24 hours (except during the holidays). I've never had to recall any work performed. I recommend this company.
