It was good but it was not perfect. The best thing was the doorbell camera until it's almost set my house on fire. I've been trying to get a hold of somebody to come out and remove the system, but can't seem to get anybody to do that.

I really enjoy the ease of mobile application. I have tons of problems with it. They expect a homeowner business owner to troubleshoot and do the repairs on their security systems that they sell to us instead of getting the techs more involved.

A lot of times I need to call them out here because my security system goes off in the back. Customer service alerts me right away when I get an alarm to go off. I like that usually I can see what's going on in my house when I'm not there.

The products themselves are very useful and help with the security and safety of my home. I have a camera that doesn't work anymore and they won't come fix it. So now I have a useless cameras and I'm still paying for. It would be good to have a list of all of the products and their pricing because I definitely would have gotten more. It would also be good to offer better customer support when I'm with a lifetime warranty.

I called customer service for help a few months ago, they said they couldn't locate my account. On April 23, 2021, 2 reps (one named Noah) stopped by to sell upgrades, I told them my motion sensor needed a battery. They assured me a rep would return the next day and replace it. It's May 11 and no one has returned YET!

I do not like that things are truely hard wired, instead I have holes in the walls with plugs. I do not like that everything utilizes wifi, normally we shut everything down at night, but I can't otherwise my sercuity is useless.

Ok. Good customer service on the phone sometimes. Very poor techs. When they come over there are very rude and act like you owe them something for them showing up to fix something is a burden. Worst I’ve seen anywhere don’t like any of the techs so far.

A/C thermostat malfunctioned and had to replace, now I got my new one, I left a call back number and have not heard back to setup the new thermostat, I have been wanting to see if they could add a new feature to the notification but no where can I submit ideas, I want to see if I can set the notifications on a timer to go off between timeliness and when I am not home, this way when I am cutting the grass I do not get 180 event notifications.

Salesperson was willing to say anything to get the sale, including that the batteries for the wireless sensors were replaced free as part of the warranty (they aren’t). Also, the company seems to be especially money-grubbing, charging fees for things like enabling your own devices (such as garage door openers) to be integrated into the system.

Cameras and garage door are constantly going off line for no reason. Never provided the proper color deadbolts for doors. Panel has made a burn spot on wall from overheating. (Just waiting on that to catch fire and we’re suing)!! Videos from recording are missing constantly. Not as vivid an image as I was shown by the rep that invited herself inside my garage that said “she’s not here to sell anything”. Hate.... hate being lied to despite giving this company a chance. Very displeased!! Oh and never sent a technician out when I requested months and months ago.

The products are great, the sales tactics and customer service is absolutely terrible. I recommend doing a lot of research when signing a contract with this company, and never sign up with a door to door salesman. Also if you need anything done on your account you will need to speak with at least 3 customer service representatives before anything gets done.

The app on my phone doesn't work well. When someone rings my door bell while I am not home and I try to talk to the speaker it rarely works. That is the feature I use the most. I rarely turn on my alarm system and am wondering if the service I receive is worth what I pay.

I don't like the fact that once a day one of my three cameras goes offline and doesn't record activity. Twice a month the system shuts down and has to be rebooted in order to work. It goes off when nothing is even there to be seen.

I was approached outside a Target and pushed to make an appointment. The salesperson came to my house without a mask on. We were promised lots of products and features that were never delivered. We were never told our exterior would be drilled. Our cameras have stopped working at least twice and it took months of begging of for someone to come out to fix them to get that done.

Video load times are delayed, and when pulling up live cameras are very delayed, our main box has lost cell connection multiple times and cameras seem to lose connections often. Also our alexa does not connect with the system and our sales rep said the video would show on our alexa video device. Lastly our sales rep told us Vivint would purchase us out of our current system and equipment which was one of the main reasons we went with the new system, but I never received information on how to be reimbursed for the cost of our previous system

The panel and phone apt do not consistently work properly. Control of operation is supposed to be available via mobile phone and SOMETIMES is but not consistently although there seems the internet connection is up and operating correctly.

My system only occasionally works. We have called several, several, several times and they don't seem to know what they're doing. We purchased a service plan from them and then we were told that they didn't service our area then our service plan was discontinued. They told us on a number of accations that it would be two months or longer before they could address our issue--we've had nothing but problems with them. We've had problems with both of our door locks and with the command center. The people who came to fix it basically didn't know what they were doing and then at one point they started sending us parts for us to fix the unit ourselves. We have requested several times for a technician to come out and I've been put on a waiting list and am never notified when they are going to come out--just a bad, bad situation all the way around.

Everything works pretty good for years. A couple of times I have set the alarm off accidentally and they were right there to help shut it done. They are a caring company.
