Cameras go offline a lot, constantly have to reboot system. Doorbell app takes about 5 minutes to open. Their finance company, Fortiva, will have over 100 points removed from your credit score for one late payment (credit card was compromised)

We are very disappointed with the over all service. My husband called with in the week the cameras were installed to cancel. And yes according to sales representative said not a problem, a day and time was scheduled to come. We are still waiting , have called numerous times and now they are telling us we have to pay. What a ripe off!

Lol, this place is a joke!! Hey, but if you want to get rid of your child's college money then go for it. What was quoted to me as the monthly price over the phone ended up being TWICE as much when it was all said and done. Vivint is just another "security company" in a long line of these companies trying to weasel money out of people.

Vivent has the worst customer service imaginable. Today, I’ve made 7 phone calls, over 5 1/2 hours on the phone total, and they can’t add my garage door to my system. Multiple times I’ve had terrible service. If not for the $2000 I’ve already paid, I’d go elsewhere. Don’t do it!!

Stay away! Shady salesman. Never said anything about a 60 month contract. I signed documents on a iPad and he was very smooth at scrolling past the part where it said I was signing a contract. Who wants to be stuck in a contract for 60 months on a security system?

I called today about having a new battery installed and also need a new paper manual as mine was lost over the holiday. I was told that I should replace the battery myself or be charged and also you don’t supply handbooks any longer. I am 89 years old and pay for your services. I am very disappointed and am thinking of cancelling Vivint.

Absolutely the worst. Equipment failed and replaced multiple times in 3 years. You'll spend hours on the phone with this company. The 6 year contract is a joke and you'll have to fight and fight to get out of your contract. Just buy all the ring Equipment at home depot. You'll save thousands this way. Highly do not recommend.

We have a very large commercial account with multiple locations and we called today to simply update our account and set up a service call. We spoke to Juan S who was a terrible customer service rep. He wasn't helpful until we discussed new products... We are very serious about our relationships with vendors... Good luck.

Constantly having issues with equipment. Several times I havent been able to leave my house because the panel wasn't working. The key pad has had to be replaced multiple times. The sensor for garage door has had issues. Very happy with service.

Like all the other reviews here, TERRIBLE company! I have been with them on two different houses now. Customer service gets continually worse. Nothing like being left on hold form their Indian call center for 30 minutes, then disconnected. Stay far way, horrific company!

to many issues with pro cameras and door bell. They dont notify or record everytime theres someone infront of it and constantly get stuck on cameras loading until reboot cameras or panel.

I was lied to and Vivint wanted me to pay off my current contract with another security service. Vivint financed me would not work with me so I had to hire attorneys and force Vivint to work with me. I was told I was under contract and that I would have to pay for 2 security services even though I was not using Vivint. I WILL NEVER USE VIVINT!

Equipment never works right call to get it fixed I send someone out after being on the phone for an hour and a half doing dumb diagnostics quit working again the very next day and they want to do the stupid diagnostics again he won’t send somebody out how they do that my time is worth money I don’t have time to deal with it
