I love arlo. I have been a user of Arlo since the companies inception. Every year the quality of the cameras have gotten better. I have owned every system they've made. I usually always upgrade to the newest cameras. Currently upgraded my system to the 2nd gen 2k Essential and Ultra 2 4k cameras. My house has 8 cameras I also purchased solar panels for maximum battery life. I trust arlo with my home and with my life. The app is simple to use and adding cameras is a breeze.

My first outdoor cameras were Arlo. From the beginning, the batteries ran low so often and they got expensive replacing them. The cameras would catch a fly buzzing by, but literally missed someone throwing eggs at my house and getting into my garage. I was furious that they caught NONE of that footage. After that I stopped using them.

I purchased the Ring Doorbell late last year. I really love the doorbell and have had no issues with the device. We had to purchase the ring yearly service to get the most out of the device. I was hoping to only use the device without a paid service. Overall, I am very happy with our purchase and would purchase additional ring devices for our home.

Ring Doorbell is not that great! Ring doesn't capture what's important. For example! Someone hit my neighbor car and Ring missed that capture. Ring Door Bell is not worth the price they charge for it.
