Whenever I'm having issues with their expensive equipment, instead of sending a technician to fix it, they try to explain how to fix it over the phone. Also, if a technician comes out to fix any of their expensive equipment, I'm charged the repair fee. Furthermore, I was charged for equipment that I already purchased from my previous security company. The technician who installed the equipment charged me for it to make it appear as if they installed 2 sensors when they didn't. I'll be leaving them pretty soon.

Poor customer service, advised service was available in state I was going to move to when system was installed. Service was not available and now stuck with purchased equipment. no one at Vivint would help me, finally had a customer service representative agree to talk to his manager who was not there at the time and promised to call me back but never did. I would never use this company again.

We chose Vivant for two things, security camera and thermostat control as we travel a bit. Camera and door lock are fine, thermostat control quit working fairly soon after installation. Tech came out, charged us, worked for about three months. Tech would come out again for a fee, we disconnected thermostat from Vivant, no reduction in monthly fee, so yuck!!!!

Less than desirable. Installation technician threatened to sue me multiple times because I had a little ice outside. Said if he fell he'd 'own my house'. Then had to replace 2 panels which they made me pay for. Now I moved and the say I'm in a contract for another 6-7 months which I don't recall being told it's a contract style service and I've had it for at least 2 years. They want over $350 to break my 'contract'. Unethical company that will squeeze every dollar out of you.

I have a lot of issues with my panel stopping and not working and going offline. I've called them plenty of times about the camera's stopping and it happens all the time. They probably need to upgrade their boxes so people don't have so many problems with it.

Horrible. My doorbell camera hasn't worked months. In addition to the monthly fee I pay for it, It cost me at least an hour on the phone every time I call to report it, and after at least 5 calls it's still not fixed. They even replaced it, and it still doesn't work. Also the entry alarm announcement only sounds when it wants to. This too has been reported without being fixed. Their response is always the same, 'we're updating our software'. Unfortunately I have a 5-year contract, the only option available, so I'm stuck with them for another 2-years. Run!!! Don't walk away from Vivint!

just ok. from the beginning it was just one bad experience after another. for example i had a motion detector issue and it took 4 agentrs and numerius calls to resolve. that is only one of the issdues among several and at times when i speak to customer service we have a communication issue
