Absolutely horrible company. Cancellation is non-existen. Customer service only gives you the run-around and never actually helps you with your problem. They don't call the police if the alarm goes off. Instead, they call you and ask you 21 questions before even notifying law enforcement. I pay premiums and have to replace the batteries myself on the fire alarms. If you don't cancel your service at the 5 year mark and not one day later, you're automatically signed up for 5 more years without any opportunity of cancelling. Absolutely trash company. Go with your own camera and sensor setup, or buy local. This company is a joke.

50/50my system didn't work for awhile. Every time there was an update I had issues. I wish the system could hold more cameras. I have 4 outside cameras & 1 inside camera. I can't have them all on playback. Have 2 of them turned off, which defeats the purpose of having them, in order for the other cameras to work.

Our experience has been below par. We constantly have to reboot our system. Our doorbell with camera doesn't ring a lot when pressed. We've had it replaced once. I honestly don't know if we will continue service when our contract is over.

It's been good until you have a problem! Then when you call they want to walk you through all kinds of steps to fix the problem, that's fine if you're young but if you're up in age and a lot of people are alone you can't do it . They need to send a technician out !

Since we have been customers, at least one of our equipment has had a problem. Right now it's just the back door sensor showing low battery, but it is constant. I wish someone would call and say "hey, I notice this alarm, do you need help figuring it out?" It's not like we have a manual. That would be nice. I was in a vulnerable state when I signed us up and regret it.

We were sold the system two years ago. We put in the maximum of six cameras. The system has ALWAYS had problems. We have had to reboot the panel constantly because the cameras would continuously go off line. After several calls to service the problem was not resolved. We actually had a theft from our property which would have been captured on one of the cameras. Unfortunately, the camera was off line at the time it mattered. Recently we happened to talk to a sales rep who told us the panel we received was never sufficient for that number of cameras. We again called for service and when the tech came out he agreed the solution was a new improved panel. Vivint refused to upgrade our systems panel without charging us the full price of $400 even though it is clear they knew the panel they initially sold us was inferior. We are still paying for the equipment and are stuck with this less than reliable system. I would strongly recommend anyone considering Vivint look elsewhere.

At the beginning when we first got it they were fantastic but this last year we transferred to a different company because we couldn't get any service from Vivint. When we had problems they wanted me to fix them instead of having somebody come out. The equipment we had was quality and worked very well. They just need to have more customer service available when people need you to come out to their house to get things fixed rather than telling you over the phone how to do it.

Poor customer service, won't send techs to fix problems, so you wait on hold for 45 minutes each time, just to have them do the same trouble shooting, and when you request a home visit, they say you have to pay $60, OR just keep trouble shooting until THEY deem it necessary to send someone out (meanwhile we pay over $100 per month, for a system that doesn't work half the time)
