We have mixed feelings. Smoke alarm so sensitive it goes off cooking dinner. Locks sometimes won't unlock, doorbell camera won't record. Batteries have to be replaced frequently. If we were to do this again we'd probably go with another service provider

It's okay. Main problem is when your techs try and have customers fix their wall panel and do not know what THEY are doing so a technician has to come out and fix the mess YOUR employee has the customer do. We pay for a service and customers are not tech people, stop trying to have customers fix technical issues that need an on site employee.

Pretty good. A little higher than some others. Service has been real good with several issues. The one thing I get upset about is the very slow response time to use the video when someone rings the doorbell. By the time I get the video to load the person at the door is gone

Good. Test the battery replacement and repositioning the camera and things like that have to be done on our end and I would just rather have a tech to come out to do all those things but we Eventually change the battery changechanged OK

doorbell goes offline, sometimes I can get it to reboot but have also had to call the company for assistance, The panel goes off line as well, same scenario as doorbell. I have high speed internet. I am constantly changing batteries on the door entry. To be honest, I have checked into other options that are more cost effecent with basicly the same coverage.

Overall, my experience has been pretty good. I was a little disappointed when the terms of my agreement was suppose to be only for two years and it ended up being three years because I was miss quoted. Also, sometimes I'm off line and don't know it unless I make a call. We should be notified the moment our system goes down for what ever reason. But being a single woman I feel secure knowing I have a Vivint system.

I know when I go away if the power goes out, I wont lose my security system and if the phone company decides to switch lines, I won't lose my security because it is wireless and that is what I like about it. We do have one door down south that does not work.

You can use it with your phone and it's easy to operate. They could do a little better as far as the price point because they are a little higher than others, but you get what you pay for. The technology is changing so much and they keep upgrading.

It's easy to use. The first time we enrolled everything was outstanding then we set a new contract and it's kind of been up and down. My neighbors were using it and they liked it. The equipment is easy to program and easy to fix when you need to. I've had a couple run ins with a couple of the customer service people that didn't know anything. Maybe train your customer service a little better.

Their customer service and how they interact with their customers is good. I just haven't had the best experience with their actual product. They seem to drop offline and stop working for no reason. It causes me to have to spend my own time getting on the phone with customer service to get it working. It's very time consuming and very frustrating.

The app is simple to use. Accessing our security when we are away from home is a very nice feature. But when we have needed to contact customer service due to an alarm sounding or a problem the wait is very long. Vivint is understaffed. One evening we had a false alarm we were never able to reach customer service to keep the police from arriving. We were charged $25.00 by the police department.

Not good! The system always needs updates and my system for some reason doesn't receive the updates on it's own. It stops talking and or the panel gets stuck and when I call customer service, I am told it needs to update. It is a inconvenience to be on the phone for a hour after working all day and also wondering if your alarm is going to work properly if someone breaks into my home.

Frustrating, We were told we needed a tech to come out to "reset our WiFi connection. Turns out they needed to move our panel that was in our garage to outside. I was originally told the tech would only need 20 minutes to reconnect our WiFi. When he got there and actually told me what had to be done and how long it was going to take I becasme very upset. He said that the schedulers have been failing to tell the customers what needed to be done. It wasn't his fault! What made me even more upset, I had to take the rest of the day off from work, instead of just taking a 20 minute lunch break!!! Thanks Vivint! On top of that all of out items we have through Vivint are so slow, it's not worht paying for! Very Disappointed!!

Not great. I have had to leave town and had my cam down for the duration, customer service reps are rude/short/impatient, as though I am disrupting them from something more important, they don't listen when you are trying to talk. The last person/female I talked to was particularly unpleasant and unprofessional. I am pretty close to pulling the plug...the last week or so hasn't been too bad but it's a bit unreliable, I noticed after the installation as well my equipment was installed crooked, (front door key pad and glass break in living room) though I'm used to it now. I am just disappointed overall and like many companies the customers are complainers not customers so that's a problem.

Good experience, only a couple of thing I''m not happy with are videos are recorded sometimes and sometimes not recorded, and alert delayed for example if someone walk by my house, alert won''t alert till that person passed and gone then what''s the point of checking because you won''t see no one there.
