We very much appreciate the service that we received over the years. Everything seems to work okay. Sometimes we have some internet problems but it might be caused by the internet and not by Vivint. They listen and pay attention and fulfill our needs. We feel that we are secure. The customer response has been very good.

If you have any questions they are more than happy to help you out and everybody's always been knowledgeable. Any questions you have they're able to answer in a second and if there's any problems they're able to fix it right away. If there is a situation with the system or an alarm or anything like that they use every means possible to contact with you and are really good about taking care of you. I've never had any problems with anything, but I definitely see where it could be a little bit more discreet.

The camera on the doorbell is probably the best. We're very very happy with it. Each time we've had a problem they've been able to solve it very quickly. We have had it installed for six years now and I have no problems at all.

The best part is that I can see what's going on at my house no matter where I'm at. As long as I have had it, there's been absolutely nothing wrong with it. I'm getting my money's worth. I haven't had any problems so I haven't even had to call them.

I enjoy knowing my home is safer. The equipment that I have is a little temperamental sometimes, but I do like the clarity of it and the ease to work it. I haven't had any issues and I like the notifications. The alarm went off one morning while I was standing right in front of it during an electrical outage. I feel good that I have Vivint.

I am so sorry I choose Vivint for my Security system. It has many hoop-la's that I do not need and don't even know exist. The alerts stay on my phone and every since I joined Vivint, the battery on my phone has to be recharged twice a day. The contract is way over my head. $3,500 for equipment when other companies give the equip away and just charge more for monitoring. The big deal about Vivint is that after 6 long years the payment for monitoring will never go up and will stay at a decent amount. Buttt..... after 6 years the equipment will be extremely outdated and I'll have to start over, so I've gained nothing. I kick myself every time I think of how much I spent on the system and how I was charmed into the purchase. I guess I truly am a senior citizen, gullible and quick to make a decision.

I really enjoyed it when I first got my system. I've been trying to reach my retailer, and he hasn't returned ANY of my calls since I had an issue with it. For some reason, my camera very seldom makes the noise it was making at first where the red light on the camera will come on. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. I am not so happy right now. It started it about 2 months ago.I don't know what to do..

I was very pleased until i found out I have to pay a service fee and $50 for any new sensors. I have installed all new windows and cannot figure if the sensors I have will fit or how to install them again. I cld Customer Service and he said I wld have a service fee and each new sensor wld be $50. I paid a lot for this alarm system and I think it is rediculous to have to pay so much for these additional sensors. If the old ones do not work, then I will have an additional $200. I'm just not happy about this.

I love everything about vivint. I love the security system, how it works directly with the door lock. The door bell camera is clear. The cameras in the house are clear. I wish all the cameras were me clear at night. I was the 24 recording was included. I love that you can talk through the cameras

I really like the systen EXCEPT the technicians are not super knowlegdeable. For example the one hooking up my system when i moved didnt know how far away one of the cameras could be from my house or router. Wanted it on my detached garage but decided against it because tech was “unsure”. I really question the price point also Sometimes i wish i had not signed the contract (because of the price) but nothing i can do now. The cameras are a tad “laggy” when viewing away from home but other than that i like everything else vivint has to offer

I had an issue with front door and garage door sensors recognizing the doors were closed. Vivint had me get two (one for each door) new sensors for the doors. It took three weeks to receive them and from the day I ordered them I had not a problem with either door since the day I ordered them. Right now, I have two sensors that I spent money for that I don't need. What do I do to return them and get a refund? The system is working great right now.

I am pleased with Vivint for the most part. When we've had alarm go off (all of which has been by accident), I have been contacted immediately and everyone has been extremely understanding and responsive. My only complaint was that our saleman promised us a life alert system at no extra charge and we never received it. I talked with a customer service rep (Ana M) on July 31,2020 at 5:49pm about this and was assured we would receive one and we never did. We have had 2 occasions that having one would have been optimal (my husband had 2 strokes).

I really like that it is wireless and that I can basically do everything on my phone remotely. Everything is fantastic, just a couple times customer service has had to get the techs out on site, and they never showed up or they're like a day late when I took the day off work, but other than that, it's great.

The best thing about using Vivint is probably the convenience of being able to see things on our mobile devices when everything is working properly. There seems to be a loss of connection between the panel and wifi system and I've had to reset the camera at times, and currently our doorbell camera doesn't work. I've received instructions on how to correct it, just haven't had the time in the past few weeks but yeah, that's kind of where some of the challenges are at the moment.

I like having Vivint because the reliability of the video camera, the technology is always up to date. They have the most up-to-date monitoring as well, not just the home security but for carbon monoxide. The issue I have is in terms of how they have stuff divided. They have one place that has a charge for monitoring and you have another place that receives payment for the equipment.

I do see a clear picture very quickly of the person at the door. I am very happy with the way it does work and it doesn't constantly need to be charged. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Everything seems to work like it should and when you need to get a replacement, they have a lifetime guarantee so you don't pay for it. A suggestion I have is that they should give their long-time customers free yard signs when the other ones are bad or get stolen or beat up rather than having them pay for another one.

I enjoy having that security to know that if something goes wrong, the appropriate responders will be called. When the battery went out, it wasn't batteries that we have, and so therefore they had to send it to us. We had no help in trying to rectify it or fix it over the phone while they talked to us. There was no support and it was just a very frustrating time.

It’s the best thing I can monitor my home when I'm down here in beautiful Arizona all winter when my house is up frozen burst. I'm quite happy with the service and the top-notch equipment, it's working good for me. It's nice to be secure. They are doing a really great job. I can access it from my phone anywhere. It lets me know what it going on. I really like that I can turn it off as we’re coming home or going out. If I have issues, they resolve them right away. We are not left hanging. Everything has worked out.

I loved this company and still really like them but customer services experience left me a bit unhappy which is why only four stars. The equipment has always worked and the service as always been reliable. I feel the price is fair but I can't say that I have really compared it with any other companies to truly know and I don't use a lot of items offered to know the price ranges for those.

Overall, the home security, thermostat adjustments (via app), and live cameras have been good and we have gotten our money's worth for that. The partnership they have with the myQ app for opening and closing the garage door is a lot to be desired. It is supposed to be synced with the Vivint app, but it is constantly having issues that feature has not lived up to its name. At the time of this survey, the issue remains ongoing.

I appreciate the customer service. I did not like the attitude of the gentleman who last installed my equipment. I don't want him to come back. He was ignorant and rude. He left a mess and left without saying anything but, also left me to call and get technical support over the phone.

Alarm works fine. The app is terrible and takes forever to load regardless of wifi. I've had really good customer service and service that has been fair. The doorbell camera very often doesn't pick up people who come to the door. I feel that for the price I pay the app and doorbell should work better, and I feel sort of stuck because I'm paying for their equipment.

Customer service had always been wonderful. If I have a problem, I can either talk to them on the panel or on the phone. They are helpful. It isn’t very often because they have a good system. It is excellent. I like that it tells me if the front door is not closed.

The people are very courteous but we had to call 3 times to verify a problem and they couldn’t do what they needed to distance and the third called arranged a technical person to come out. That was fabulous. We are satisfied. It is easy to set it off.

Vivint keeps me in the loop. Three years after I installed it someone called and said they were going to upgrade the equipment but it wasn’t Vivint. It was a scam. Vivint doesn’t charge for service. They even tell when there is issues. I am happy with them.

Reliable and sensitive, if I would sneeze on the glass break, it would set it off. I like that if I accidentally set it off, they call right away. I like being able to do things with the camera. I never have any technical issues.

Even though it is a US company, they are still good at helping me resolve issues in Canada. I’ve had experiences with other companies and the staff at Vivint is just right. I like the camera and the ability to open the door on the keypad.

All the people we’ve communicated with at Vivint have taken care of our problems right away. They don’t charge for sending out a technician. I love the camera and that you can control everything even the thermostat from your phone.

I really appreciate that they respond quickly but technical support is not always very good. It depends on who is on the other end. Sometimes they are very knowledgeable but sometimes the person does not know what they are talking about. Also sometimes they don’t tell you something is about to be updated and the system just goes down.

Best feature is that it uses regular batteries. We don’t have to pay exorbitant fees for batteries. We had a company give us an offer for a lower price and Vivint matched it. It really has the best pricing. We’ve had them for twenty years and we’ve been happy.

The system is easy to program and to access and it is easy to troubleshoot. The service people have the knowledge to help. The equipment is standard in design and reliability but it has a lot of state of the art features and outperforms other companies.
