We had ADT home security system installed in our home for 12 years. As my husband traveled for his work, I found myself, and then small child at home alone a few days a month. We had had some break ins a few streets over from us, so I told my husband I no longer felt safe with him out of town, bringing us to acquire ADT. They came out and placed all the sensors on windows, in rooms, doors, and thoroughly explained everything to us and how to use it. Thankfully, we never had a break in. However our two cats set the laser alarm off a couple of times jumping up on furniture. There’s nothing like a very loud alarm to get you out of bed in the middle of the night. However, after seeing there wasn’t anyone in the house, and the cat was sitting on top of the china cabinet (cats like high places😸) and then giving the ADT customer service rep our security code seconds after the alarm went off, we silenced the alarm got the cat down and put him in the garage. It is a great service to have, and I felt secure having the signs in the yard, and on our windows and doors. Their pricing was reasonable and far below a few other companies we had checked with. I highly recommend ADT for your safety and peace of mind.

We started over 20 years ago with what was Westinghouse and Bell South, which then merged with ADT. Over the years the high quality service, monitoring, and excellent communication has meant that there is a level of trust that has been developed throughout the years. They have a multi-layered system of authentication, options to upgrade across the life of their product, and personnel who are attentive to details, communicate effectively, and ensure the wellbeing of their customers.

I have ADT for emergencies I do not have home security but their accident program. I called them once when I actually fell. Paramedics came but I didn;t need them because my roommate was able to help me up. I wear the united and have attached the connection. Occasionally they call because they have detected a fall. Other than the one case described above, it has been a false alartm and no paramedic was needed

ADT has to be the best security system in the world. It’s the only one that will hold up in a court of law against a guilty party. I have had mine now for a year and a half and it is well worth the $65 I spend a month that keeps all the thieves away and unwanted people. If they know you have ADT they’re not going to try to break into your house has been my experience. After having experiences with someone breaking into my home after a house fires and before the house fire by an x convict. This man lives in my neighborhood and he does not come on my property anymore now that I have ADT. The place that I reported him to were not concerned and didn’t help me. But my ADT has been successful in keeping unwanted people away. I have the full set up with sensors on every door and window and cameras in the house and outside the house. It’s only $65 a month and I think that’s a cheap price to pay for my security and I can sleep again at night without having to worry about theft or bodily harm. ADT is very Professional it works very well and it’s simple to use.

BEWARE!!!!! Please choose another company PLEASE!!!! I wish I could give these cons a 0 star. They are really that bad, honestly. I was told I could transfer the contract to the new owner, in the event I sold the home. Well that's not the truth. Today, I mentioned I was selling the home. I was told I owed $1500 on the remainder of contract and $500 on equipment. I don't recall signing a 3 year contract, yet to have me pay for services I am not receiving is robbery. I then asked if I could transfer the services to the new owner since I'm being forced to pay $1500 for services I am not going to be receiving. I was told NO, the transfer can only take place in the case of a dead spouse! So, basically they are wanting the new owners to sign a new 3 year contact. This should be outlawed. I am planning to warn the new owners about ADT and recommend that they use another company. These people are unscrupulous cons. I will NEVER EVER use them again, mark my word.

The service is ok. Make sure you ask about the cameras and the recording before buying. I am stuck in a 3 yr contract eventhough I out right bought the equipment. The doorbell sucks becuase it lags but all the other features are good.

Very reliable service. Truly pleased with both the system, cameras, as well as the monitoring services. Aside from my residential system. I am also a commercial customer in my place of employment. I can say that the service is very reliable when it comes to customer support as well as very fast monitoring when any sensor goes off. One of the only irks for me is that the subscription service of the monthly package will sometimes increase in cost without notification or reason even though you have a pre-established monthly amount in your contract.

I like the app, the quick install and the feeling I have of security. I do not like that a year later I am still paying for equipment. I do have every window (20+) and 5 doors covered but the cost of the equipment seemed a bit much with only 4 cameras.

We have had ADT at work for years and the alarm service has been great. i would definitely recommend them for their service, but I am frustrated by one part of their customer service. i paid a bill with a credit card with the promise that I would receive an invoice as soon as I did. They sent another statement instead after 3 more calls to them I was told that they can't provide invoices. WTF!?! I needed it to submit for my expenses and this is a ridiculous policy. The charges were all correct, but businesses tend to need invoices.

We have home security installed through ADT, a panel, door sensors and two exterior cameras. We haven’t had any issues with the camera displays, the alarm operates as we expect it to. You can customize the alerts when doors are opened which we appreciated, we set a tone to go off. The remote app has been immensely helpful with kids accidentally letting the dog out before the alarm is turned off, we can hear it and turn it off from our phones from upstairs. Great quality, service and peace of mind.

I had Not really compared prices before I had my first security system I went with the same system my sister was using...After a year or so I had decided to see what else was out there ...So I looked up Home Security and the first name to pop up was ADT....I read and compared function, quality ..price..etc etc. No $ upfront for equiptment, 90 day money back guarantee..More options for home security,better cellular home deals...Superior equipment...They Deliver and install and have 145 years in the security business!! Sold!!! Lol There really is no comparison when it comes to ADT...Fair Price, 24/7 monitoring.. Many cellular options,Superior quality Equiptment... No hassle with DIY install....And the response time Remarkable!! I Am Completely Satisfied with ADT I never have a minutes worry when away from home for 10 minutes or 10 days! And The Technician was great...worked Quickly and Efficiently and Quite Pleasant to Look At Too...Lol If The Equiptment wasnt so superior I would need a technician to come out (wink, wink) But on a Serious Note...Theres None Better Than ADT to protect the things you love!!

I have been using ADT to protect my home for over a decade. This includes smoke and carbon monoxide as well as for security. I could have used a cheaper company or security system, however, I decided that I want quality over cost. I can depend on ADT because they ensure my security system is working properly and will come out and fix issues as they happen. Having the smoke and carbon monoxide tied into my security system gives me an extra peace of mind when I travel due to the ability of my system to notify the fire department.

We had ADT home security for only about a month and it seemed fine. Our landlord had it installed because there has been several burglary’s in and around are neighborhood. We are buying a home and in the process of moving. We are planning on getting our home security through ADT. It was nice having cameras to show us who was at our house when we were not home. I really liked having a door bell camera so I could see who was at my front door and let us know if anyone had entered our home that didn’t have access to do so.I was surprised that the images from the cameras were very clear and how loud alarms can be... I also liked the way it made me feel safe in my own home. They were very customer friendly. Even though we didn’t actually purchase the security protection are landlord did they still answered any questions we had. Very nice customer service. Would recommend!

To be sure I've never had an incident that frighted me more than when I received a call at about 2 in the morning and it was ADT. I quickly had police dispatched and I was looking at the cameras in and around my business. That's right I have 2 systems and thankfully I have never had more than a false alarm at my home. Turns out the back door at the office was broken into but the siren scared them away. I have had ADT for over 20 years and as long as they don't keep raising prices I will keep them.

They are very well known, reliable, and reputable for their experience and extensive home monitoring network, and for good reason: ADT’s services feature professional equipment and custom designed security systems that allow you to determine the extent and level of home security you want. They even have a six month guarantee that you will be equally pleased with ADT or your money back! Only con is that ADT’s services can be in the pricey side, but I would expect high prices due to ADT’s experience and prestige, given their top ranking status in the US for security companies.

The home security system that Adt installed was second to none. The control panel controlled all the sensors throughout the home. Windows, doors, and motion sensors and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were all tied into the different emergency centers.

This is the company that comes to mind when I think home security. The window clings and yard signs have been up for years and you know those houses are secured. Their packages are on the pricier side but you cant really put a price on safety.

I have ADT since I bought my house in 1999. It has been a reliable company for my home. I also have ADT at my business. It has not been as reliable at my business. I think it does a good job for home security, but it is difficult for it to provide really good service for businesses because it seems like it does not have enough staff on the commercial side. Also, it is very difficult to get a sales person on the business side. It is fairly easy to get one on the residential side.

ADT is really the best professional security system. Not only did they help set everything up, they also gave me an ADT sign to put in my yard that easily scares away any potential threats. They even have a theft protection guarantee that helps keep me at ease. If you really want some top notch security, ADT is the way to go.

Alarm.com and ADT are literally the worst security system on the market. The quality is extremely inconsistent and almost never as sharp as they claim it is. The system doesn’t record half of the triggered events, even though they’re set to record them. If someone comes onto your property, not only does it not record half of the events, but it won’t let you open the live stream while the camera is detecting motion. ADT rips us off on our monthly payment and we aren’t getting our money’s worth. I can’t even cancel the contract because my wife signed their asinine breach of contract disclosure. Their customer service is ridiculous and the installers are lazy. Half of our wires are exposed outside and things that customer service said we would get were not included, per the installer’s work order. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE TWO NAMES.

Reliable service and good response time. We replaced our windows and called ADT to reinstall the sensors on the new windows. The tech said they don’t do that for free and there will be a $300+ charge to put them back on with double sided tape and test them. At that point we decided to no longer use ADT and go an alternate route. I felt like they lost a long time customer over an install charge of sensors.

I was a longtime customer and had excellent customer service. The only issue I had with them was the quality of their outdoor security cameras. They could use some improvement in that area. Everything else was tops. Had my neighbor not had ADTs smoke detector both of our homes would have been a total loss.

I have had ADT in all my homes since 2003. The prompt response to alarms whether false or real is super. My only issue is when I have moved I find it difficult to have good communication with the representatives during the change

No complaints. Fast service and calls immediately if something this wrong. If you don't answer the phone for 2 or 3 calls, they just send the police or fire department. So, take it seriously lol.
