I like that they have negoiated to get my credit cards settled because the interest would have been outragious and I would still be paying them but the fees I think are a little high but I appreciate all you have done and now hopefully the last card will be paid off this month .

They call and ask you for approval for a debt settlement before they go through with it. They told me that it takes 4-6 months to settle a debt. They settled all my debts but 1 and it’s been a year and that debt still hasn’t been settled yet. They also charged me a $600 fee for one of my debts without even telling me about it or what it’s for.

For a few months I have not heard that my Merrick Bank Credit Card & Mercury Credit Card have been settled in a monthly payment. So far only 2 have been settled with low monthly payment. I really would like to know how NDR handle these 2 credit card.

Ndr told me everything I wanted to hear. In the beginning the immediate results were welcomed. However, I’m still receiving calls even though I forwarded to all my creditors ndr would be handling my debt. I was initially told once I did this ndr legal department would handle the calls and stop the harassment . I was also told Ndr would quickly resolve debt but some of the payments to the creditors like a 12 week payment with very small payments to one creditor, while no other payments to other creditors are being made is baffling.

I hope this review helps folks considering using National Debt relief. The most important thing to understand is they are going to charge you "enormous fees" for what they do for you. Yes they will get what you owe down considerably but then they will turn around and charge you 23% in fee's. 23% not on your new balance, but the original balance! So for instance, let's say you owe a credit card company $10,000. They negotiate the balance down by half $5000. You get excited because wow my debt is cut in half! Then they start taking the fee's out of your balance. 23% of $10,000 is $2300! They make you feel as tho you scored big time. But you do not! Yes $7300 is better than the $10,000 you owed but common!!! I do not mind National Debt relief making money off it's customers. It's what they do... it's a business. But 23% of the original balance for a few minutes of negotiation on your behalf? They never explained to me what the fee's really are. 23% of the original balance is ridiculous!!! I would have been better off negotiating with my creditors myself. I have a strong feeling they give the creditors kick backs in order make it seem like your balances are being reduced greatly. I have no way to prove it but it just makes sense to me personally. There some benefits for the ridiculous amount of money you are going to pay them. #1 phone calls from creditor's will be reduced. If you fall on really hard times they will defer a few payments. They deferred 3 payments for me personally. That is a month and 1/2. Your overall debt will be reduced but do not fall for the amount. They will drain your account ruthlessly! Over time you will built up some money in your account. As soon as they resolved a debt for you. You will see that money go out in huge chucks until it's all gone in fee's. They pay themselves first!!! Remember that. They will resolve one of your smaller debts first. It's a ploy to make you feel comfortable. When a big one hits you might find yourself crying in the corner when you realize what you signed up for. If you do not care where your money goes. You are sick of the phone calls. Want to reduce some of your debt, then go for it. If not... then not. Hope this helps someone.

We were very happy at first,you were doing very well with our account but lately we are a little disappointed with what is happening . We keep getting letters from chase and we forward them to you yet we still keep getting them. Also I increased my payment and also sent in an extra $2000 and you used it to pay some of your own fees instead of using it to help pay off some of our debt. You haven't paid off penny's. I thought your fees were paid at the end. We are hoping that you work on helping us on our debt and stop getting nasty letters from chase bank. Thank-you

I like that eventually I will be debt free and that they negotiate on my behalf. Not too thrilled that about the amount of time it is taking to settle my last account. Also they indicated in the beginning that we could negotiate what would be on my credit score but now they act like it’s a foreign concept very far removed from this process and their capabilities.

I do have mixed feeling about your performance. During April or May of 2018, I registered in your program. I was told it would take 18 - 24 months. My final payment was set for April 2020. One of the creditors did not readily accept the offer, but that amount remained in the calculation for April 2020, I checked my status, only to be told that my debt payment is due to end in January 2020. How could that be? Tell me it's a mistake.

I have 4 account inrolled in the program, three of them are settled, I had a offer for the 4th account, but National Debt Relief on two occasions denied the offer I had from the last account, says if I accepted the offer that I would do so on my own!!! Is this a way to keep me in the program longer just to get more money from me!!! This is how I felt, and I should be the ultimate authority to make decisions with my accounts!!!

Terrible experience ,I sing up and make the deccision to enroll in this program they told me that I will be free of debt and pay off my loan in a 3 years period free of debt,after dealing with lawsuits and creditors calling you pluss having a payments of $ 500 dollars a month. they reffer me to a consolidation plus company and I* had ad 3 more years of paying the same amount..believe me guy's if I now this was going to be like this I would choose stay with my debt and continued to pay as normal. I don't recommend this service or this company to anyone.totally they never remove from my credit the small things they did. Stay away ...Stay away..

So far so good. Started in September 2019 and I have 3 settlements completed already. Got a ways to go but the process has been pretty smooth. I still get calls and letters from creditors but NDR had advised that may happen so I knew up front. I just do what they advise and go on.
