On their website, Pacific Debt boasts how much they have reduced individual debt by--and it is impressive. In most cases, the company is able to reduce your debt by 20 to 50 percent--a significant amount in this industry. Not only can Pacific Debt reduce the amount you'll pay on each of your unsecured debts, but also they have low costs. To work with Pacific Debt, you will pay the company 15 to 25 percent of your total debt. On average, most of the companies we have reviewed charge an average of 21 to 24 percent.

I had a lot of debt that I needed to take care of, but I needed help to do that so I went to Pacific. They've always been very supportive and understanding. They do their best to answer each and every question and guide me through the best way to pay off my account. Every few months they give me a report of what has been paid off and what things are coming up. I'm very well informed of everything that happens. A family member used them and had a good experience with them, so I decided to go with it too. They do a lot of the hard work for you and get things done. They looked at my case to see how they could help me. We went from there and they've worked on my debt and done an excellent job. They were the cheapest service that I could find, so I went with them. The person that I've worked with has been terrific. I don't call them very often, but when I do I am satisfied with their responses. If they can't respond, I always get a callback fairly quickly. There's a website that I can go to and see if my bank has been paid off and things like that. I'm going to stick with them until it's done, though I wish I had made a different choice.

They were recommended more highly than all the other services I read about. I feel totally relieved that we made the choice of putting things on their hands. My husband did the research and really liked them. From the very beginning they were very flexible with me. At first they wanted 22% of the debt payments but we were able to negotiate and got it down to 20%. They're flexible and helpful like that. They always get back to me whenever I have questions and communicate really well through emails. They were all very detail oriented. We got letters, emails, and phone calls too whenever they needed to communicate with us or give us updates. They talked with the creditors and negotiated great savings for us. They explained what they were going to do, but also how they'd do it. They also told us how to handle things and how to go about doing what we needed to do. They were very thorough and always went the extra mile for us. I'm relieved that I did it, I'm completely out of debt now. I'm very happy I went with it.

They're always readily available and, if I have to leave a message, they get back to me in a timely manner. Sometimes they call me to give me updates, but most of the times we get emails. I saw them on the internet, that's basically how I got started with them. They're pretty good at communicating, though I haven't heard anything from them in a while. The person that has been taking care of my account for the past year has been great. She keeps in touch and really takes care of me. They check in with me every month and also call me anytime something happens. If I have a question I can just call them and they'll give me an answer. The only thing is that I didn't expect my credit score to fall. They tell you to wait while they're going in and talking to your creditors, in the meantime, you're just not making any payments. I thought that in the agreements and settlements that period would not be considered, but apparently that was not the case. Still, they solved my problems and helped me get things under control. I couldn't have done it by myself.

They had the highest consumer ratings. I was nervous at first, but the agent that I talked to put my fears at ease. They are really nice about everything. They explain everything and never put you down because of your situation. They do a good job as far as getting your debt down goes, though they could improve their communication. There's a bit of a lack when it comes to that. If they're actively doing something, you do hear from them, but otherwise you don't really know what's going on. I haven't heard from them in a while actually, so I don't know where we stand in the process right now. I still feel like I made the right decision though.

My original customer service contact is not there anymore, so I was switched to someone else. The person that I have right now is ok I guess. I don't really have much contact with them though, but when I call I get a quick response. If they're busy at the time, they call me back fairly quickly too. I saw it advertised somewhere so I ended up giving them a call and signing up. I'm not quite finished with it, I might have another 12 months with them, but so far I'm pretty happy with it. They always call me back within an hour or so and always answer my questions clearly. They also email me and text me when something happens. That's nice since I get reminders to check on my email. I may have been able to do this on my own, but I think it's nice to have a professional do it for me.

I researched several different companies and they seemed to be the one that had the most to offer. They also just seemed to be a lot better than the other ones I checked.
