It was taking years to pay o ff my cards with the high interests rates I was paying. Now in a year one card is paid off and two more payments another one will. They have saved me over $4,000 already. It is a big relief off my shoulders. They also saved me from a law suit because of an anxious card service.

At first I was excited about doing this. Then as I looked at the portal and see what was going on I got really upset and felt I was deceived one way or another. For example if I had a balance of $5000 on a card and you negotiated in down by $2200 making it $2800, but then there's a fee of $1200, saving me only $1000. Then there are all the fees that are tagged on, wire transfer, check distributions and so on. I was just like wow...

We strive to provide all of our clients with a 50 percent savings in comparison to making minimum payments to each account. We are confident you will see these significant savings throughout the program and we do take a fee, but not until a debt is resolved. The amount of the fee will vary depending on a client’s state of residence, total debt amount, etc. Typically, it ranges from 15% - 25% of total enrolled debt over the course of the program. For example, fees of 21% of enrolled debt in a 42 month program would work to about 6% per year annualized. This offers significant savings over other solutions, especially for those who would otherwise be making payments as agreed to their creditors at the interest rates they have when entering our program. They are not upfront with you in regards to who will negotiate with them. They know that Discovercard and Walmart will not bend . Yet they tell you that they can.
They also convince you to add their Lawyer group in case you have a court problem, I did, and after court representation I was right back at the beginning with Discover card, no help at all plus had to pay extra filing cast to go to court. card.
They will tell you that can not negotiate with your creditors, but you can and you can withdraw them from your account.
I am close to finishing the program, got a little money and asked if I could pay off the
smaller of the two accounts left. Was told no, but i could pay the extra money into my
standing account ( not sure if this is name)and the money would remain there until the near the end of my term and then only would it be used to pay off the remaining account. This goes for for any extra money you pay over your monthly payment
Last but not least, since now I am close to the end I am being solicited to take out a loan to pay off the remainder by a sister company!! Why now.
I just don't think they are upfront. that is all, ask the questions and take notes, or record.

They handled my debt accounts within the timeframe I was given at sign up. If I had questions, I got an answer pretty quick. If they didn't have an answer for me when I called, they reseached it and got back to me in a timely manner.

It lifted a big weight off my shoulders, I was only paying minimum due each month and my entire paycheck went to paying credit cards. Now I pay twice a month and FDR pays my creditors, they've made agreements with many credit card companies and all the collectors stopped.

All was great except for the lack of communication between freedom ,nllg and your clients. On two different occasions nllg didn't help us at all. In fact they left two accounts unaccounted. Then blamed us for the problem. No calls or anything to warn us before my wages was getting garnished and we had to borrow money to pay ourselves even though we had the account with freedom and them. Freedom should watch out for their clients best interest. Period. Over wise the program is not working the way it is intended.

I signed up to be debt free in 4 yrs and within 2 months I had I debt settled and another on the way. And after 6 months I was asked to be part of another program where they settle all my debts and they gave me a loan to help my credit get repaired faster. I believe it to be a good way to pay off debt and become debt free in a reasonable amount of time

I are told the length of time in the program was 46 months but it has be extended to60 plus months, and the fee are extremely. I appreciate the program but people are in the situation because they are in a financial bind. The fees and length of time in the program are the negative aspects of the program. I do understand the "settlement" process but the fees should be much less and the length of time in the program should be more accurately estimated.

Participating in the Debt Relief Program has been fairly stress free. In the beginning of any debt relief program, I think, there will be stressful issues. So far I have been happy. They have reduced my debt and 7 of 9 accounts have been paid off. As long as your deposits are made each month. Hardest part for me was to stop paying creditors so that Freedom Debt could work there magic. I did read ac pi uple negative reviews but, I have not had any problems with FDR

Excellent -Enrolled in Freedom Debt relief Program December 2017. Went to Consolidation Plus Loan (part of Freedom) in June 2018. All credit cards paid off in September 2018. Have monthly loan payment. No more phone calls from creditors.

Satisfied for the most part. There is an account that has been paid off for several months, but still shows in process. It was paid off in three payments. I have contacted FDR 4-5 times to inquire why this account is not showing paid off. Each time I am told it is being escalated, but nothing changes. I'm not given any further information, but the account status does not change. Very frustrating not to see progress. The only thing that has changed is that it shows 2/2 payments made. Don't know why this was changed because I am certain THREE payments were made. I've stopped inquiring because I am given no information. Even have sensed an attitude when I try to get answers. It is not easy going thru this process and feel I am just a number with FDR rather than a person.
