Everybody has been so good with me and they've very helpful in explaining everything. If anybody is in the jam that I was, I would suggest going this way other than bankruptcy. Freedom is not like an application when you apply for a home or a loaner like bankruptcy is and it doesn't teach you anything because you go right back into debt.

It's a lot of pressure off my shoulders knowing that I do not have to deal with this problem. They have been very open and they keep you informed. They're web tool is very good and if you don't go into it for a couple weeks it reminds you. You can track your accounts and your progress. The only thing I don't like is that their charges are very high so even though they say they are saving you fifty percent after their charges, they are only saving you about twenty five. It still is a lot easier than having all the pressure on you.

The guy that originally helped me was really really helpful and explained to me what the program did. I wish they would have explained a little bit more of the charges I was going to be charged. But that was okay. They helped me at a time when I needed help. The only problem that I've had with the customer service is their judgement that was filed against my husband on a credit card and we had to go to court instead of paying them to go for us so I wasn't very thrilled with that.

Giving over control of my many credit accounts has lifted a burden off of my shoulders. The negotiations have been fair and I am pleased that the majority of them have been paid off. I wish I could make a higher monthly payment but it isn't a possibility. Contact with the reps of FDR has been good.

I wish I had come to FDR sooner than I did. By the time I did the switch to FDR from another company, the creditors just didn't want to wait and I started getting said left and right. However I would definitely recommend FDR to anyone and advise not to wait months to do so. Customer service was always very good.

They actually listen to you. Every time I got off the phone, all my questions were answered. They even repeated the questions to make sure it was what I was asking. I went to my bank and we called them directly from there because my bank wanted to make sure all the information was correct.

It seems to me that they might have been able to work a little bit faster, but I think they did a pretty good job. Every time we called about an issue, they were right on the spot with an answer. If not, they got back to us quickly.
