I was told from the beginning that in 6 months if I followed all directions and continued to pay my remaining bills on time I would have a loan to consolidate the remaining debt but its been 9 months and I'm still following all the directions and patiently waiting so we will see.

Hello Jessica, I have been a client for six months now two of my creditors are getting extremely antsy about the payment. They are REPUBLIC FINANCE (of which I have forwarded legal documents to you. The other is LOUISIANA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION (of which they are in the process of filing suit against me. Both have informed me that they have yet to speak to you and that is getting me extremely alarmed. I have been doing my best and following your instructions on not speaking to however, I'm getting really scared. Please HELP! Thanks

I like that im doing something about my credit, trying to resolve matters through debt consolidation. I don't like that so far only 1 debt has a settlement and other accounts that have gone delinquent due to the process has greatly affected my good standing accounts and credit limits.

At first, I started off like in the a lot, but I feel like once I was with you guys nothing has been the same every time I try to get in contact with with Gabriel or someone about my case I would get runaround and then I was told I would get a loan at six months of good payments and then after about two months, I went to call and make sure and they said it was 6 to 12 months now. I definitely would like to talk to somebody higher up.

Have had conflicting directive advice from some advisors. Their approach is reactive rather than proactive, and their Portal has severe limitations on formats that can be added to the document vault. Also, clients cannot view many documents or emails that staff have supposedly received.

When I started working with Americor, they were very responsive and helped me upload or otherwise provide information to identify my debts and to identify how I was going to make my monthly payment to them for their services. Once they started, I rarely heard anything from them. I do not think that they are good at making "good will" calls, just checking to see how things were going or if I needed any assistance. I find them lacking in communication.

It was only a short term solution that had caused me years of frustration. I should’ve just pay them off with a little bit of interest because they’ve drag this out and it’s ended up costing me more than it would have with my zero interest for the short interim. I followed all the protocols and nothing was as clean as they made it sound. I still have multiple accounts inaccessible because they’re listed as my POA long after my debts are resolved and all criteria completed. I’ve called and they’ve not taken action and these accounts that weren’t part of the debt restructuring are going to be closed eventually for going dormant. This will ultimately decrease my credit score since they are long time accounts that will be closed due to administrative negligence. If I had the choice, I would never have gone through this process, but I had a job to pay the bills. It just helped me to not pay interest. Doesn’t work with you when you’re low on funds. I tried to work with Americor when I lost my job and was behind on my mortgage. When I asked them about lowering my payment they said no this is the amount we have to have every two weeks. So for three months my credit was ruined and I have had better luck just working directly with the creditor my self.

Have paid almost $1000 dollars in and have yet to receive a call from anyone about my case. Anytime I need something I have to call. I’ve received zero feedback on progress and most of the time when I call I get very vague answers from customer service. Have received letters from a couple of creditors wanting to settle for a lesser amount. Have uploaded those documents to the portal and have gotten zero feedback on those as well. I understand it takes time but I think a monthly or bi-monthly check in from the Americor team would give customers a peace of mind when it comes to the program.

I initially signed up with Jonathan S he explained the procedure to me and I understood completely so I decided to try it. Sadly in instances when I email I received email response saying I would be contacted by a member. Although it did not happen within 24 hours as I expected, by that time I had already decided to close my account.

I made a mistake and missed my very first payment. It was my own fault. I'm terrible with my budget (kinda why Im in the program)... Thing is when I called to ask for help in finding a solution the Americor employee was short with me, judgemental and just plain unfriendly toward me. For instance, when I told her how I made the mistake she basically said she didn't believe me. Also, right away she asked me if I'd like to cancel my program... Wow! No, I don't! I hung up. Cried a little and called my bank. In giant contrast, my BANK was very nice and very helpful...

I have a loan from a company called maxlend. They charge high interest rates. When I talked to Peter, he assured me that if I called back the next day, that they would be able to add it to the debt consolidation. The following day I called and they said they needed a copy of the agreement. I emailed it to them, then later on I got an email saying that they couldn't do anything with it because the interest rate was out of their parameters. I feel like I have been lied to.
