I was completely disputed with Lexington Firm. Whenever I went to the case valet, Lexington Law would show several deletions that they supposedly had made on my credit reports. They deleted NOTHING. The case valet was showing that my bankruptcies, foreclosures, and student loans were deleted. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. NOTHING WAS REMOVED. When I called in and expressed my concerns to three different people, I was told to send a copy of my credit reports. I questioned why should I send in credit reports when I supplied them with links, usernames, and passwords to the credit reporting agencies to digitally upload my reports. I received no response and nothing was ever done. Lexington Law was a complete and total waste of my time and money.

A complete waste of time and A LOT of money. They charge you a set up fee, and a cancellation fee. The customer service rep said "You pay for service, not for results." Are you kidding me? Why else would I sign up? I have hard inquiries on my report which I did not authorize. They don't dispute those yourself and you have to send them out on your own. The letters they provided did not work (not even 1!). A complete waste of my time and money. When I asked them to send me a copy of the dispute letters they had sent out, I never received them. They also stated that the credit bureaus take up to 60 days to respond, which is ridiculous. They have 30 days. Lexington does this to buy more time, and charge more fees for doing nothing. All I got for over $300 was a bunch of emails with "updates" (and no changes, of course) What a joke. Do not waste your time or your money!

I signed up with Lexington Law with 1 negitive item on my credit report, I waited the 60 days as they requested and made my payment. I called about 50 days in to check the progress, I was then told that they couldn't get the item removed but I could pay more money for them to go into phase, for some reason, one one ever emailed me, sent me a letter or called to tell me that it couldn't be removed. They planned on taking another payment knowing that they couldn't help me because she said they already had notice that it wouldn't be removed. The item was a car I had that I gave back to Santander Consumer USA, I fought with them for 2yrs about lowering my car note after my father passed and like the contacted stated that for life changing events it would/could be adjusted but they wouldn't honor the contract.

The worst experience I had. They tell you a lot of lies to get you sign with them a contract and charge a very high fee for doing nothing. I was with this repair company for almost 6 months with no results and my credit was bad and same. It was not repaired. Whenever I called them several times. They keep telling me lies it will take time and no one solved my problems. They failed very badly and my scores did not get better and it was not repaired. NOT WORTH AND I WILL NEVER RECOMEND Lexington law firm to any of my friends or families. Because they screwed me up and took my money and did not do anything. Did not repair my credit score and it got worse. I lost a lot of money. Biggest mistake of my life

I was a brand new client as of today (5/21/2015). Prior to getting started I was transferred to/ spoke to 5 different employees: Matthew, Ryan, Quentin, Von, and Lisa. Matthew stated that the only charges I would receive was a $99.95 charge each month and a one-time $12.99 charge for a credit report. He also said that I could get a letter to send to a potential employer for no additional cost. In addition, Matthew stated that I wouldn't be charged the monthly fee until about 15 days to allow for the Lexington team to perform some work. Ryan said that I would be charged the monthly fee in 5 days. Quentin asked several questions but could not pull my Equifax report. Von hung up on me. Lisa said that a letter to a potential employer would cost an additional $75 beyond the monthly fee or $12.99 credit report. I cancelled service after hearing about the extra $75 fee.

This company is a scam ! do not waste your time or money . they ruined a relationship with a credit company that I had on ignore . they sent them letters even though I asked them not to . they take off only stuff that they feel is easy or getting ready to come off . very frustrated with Lexington Law . when you call in . you speak to a paralegal that rushes you off the phone, and makes it sound like you are bothering them , or that they are busy doing something other then what you ask. you can do a lot better with just calling your creditors and working directly with them. they will work with you 90% of the time. Lexington sends out letters that have been photocopied over and over again.

I have worked with Lexington Law for over 10 months paying them $99 to $49 per month or over $800. In the beginning they were helpful and offered satisfactory service. They are in fact very slick sales people had rather rude and curt legal aids. In the last 6 months my credit score has actually dropped by over 60 points and Lexington Law did NOTHING to aid or help me. They tried to talk me into another 6 months of paying $50 per month for a service that does NOTHING to help repair credit. I would NOT recommend their service and believe that they owe me a credit for the past 6 months were NOTHING was done and my credit score took a major 60 point dive. They are good at selling you their service, but are very ineffective in solving your actual credit problems. I am very disappointed and WOULD NOT recommend their services.

I've been with this company and they were only able to clear one late payment I had on my account. They said they sent our 11 disputes however, none were responded to in five months I paid for this service. I spent $500 and was not pleased with my results!! You will be taking a chance with them if you have serious credit repair issues because they will give you the excuse that some accounts take a long time without letting you know how long that time will be. I was $500 dollars in and only had one issues disputed. I'm very disappointed with the work of this company and do not recommend working with them if you do not have a sufficient amount of money to pay for what it will really cost to clean your credit.

Was not told that the initial fee of $99 was a "set up" fee, then you pay another $99 for the first month's work. Nor was I informed that the typical client needs to stay 6 months to a year to see the most results. Contacted them to close my account prior to the next payment due and was informed that I still owe for the first month and that all fees are listed in the contract. I'll be honest, I didn't read the contract since I was on the phone with the intake person for close to an HOUR and he didn't tell me. I only got 3 things removed off of 1 credit bureau for that $200. WILL NOT RECOMMEND!

Lexington was very fast to get one item removed. It was pretty much a teaser to keep you staying with their expensive monthly charges. After the first removal, nothing happened for months. I had called in several times to ask about the progress. Even though I had paid for the most expensive "Concord" service, I realized not much was being done. When they said they would escalate the issue, they send me a a prewritten form with the very unprofessional address "Dear Equifax". The escalation merely consisted in the fact that I was required to get my signature notarized. As I learnt later from online research, most challenges to the credit bureaus are simply dismissed because of form. Which essentially means that whatever action was taken without the notarization was in vain. But the monthly subscription keeps ticking... I think these services do not offer anything that you yourself can't take care of. Lexington Law was not on top of the issue. According to the description of their services provided, it should not have been necessary for me to call in that many times just to hear "Sorry, I cannot explain why this has not been addressed earlier" (paraphrased).

Angry Vet

I am an out of work, disabled vet with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. On one of my deployments, my credit got messed up because deferments didn't go through on time. Since last year I have been fighting with ACS and other companies with no luck of fixing anything. I decided to call Lexington Law for help. I got information on their process and told them I would call back in a few days to give them my decision. With the holidays a few days turned into a few weeks and Lexington Law began to "work" on my account with out my permission, charging more than they advertised! Once I called them to straighten it out, Lexington Law told me they could do nothing because I didn't say "cancel" during my initial call. They even admitted that I specifically said that I couldn't agree to anything with out discussing it with my family. Thanks for taking advantage of someone that comes to you for help.

The customer service rep (aka paralegal) stated they needed to run a soft credit report for $12.99- although I had a current report they said they MUST have their own copy to help determine what needed to be cleaned-up - foolishly I provided them with a debit card. They deducted $12.99 immediately; then without my consent deducted $99.95. I called them and was placed on hold for a total of 90 minutes. I was finally told that the $99.95 would be refunded within 5 business days. I spoke with my bank and they stated that if the amount was not refunded in 5 business days that I should cancel the card and get a new card. They also stated that the bank allows 30 days for the merchant to correct their error.

I told them as a single mom I can not afford them and allot of what they can do I can do on my own . I've done it before. But this company harasses me on a daily bases. Because I talked to them one time told them I couldn't afford them. I was very blunt and clear told the guy 4 times in the phone call I couldn't afford and I did not have a debit or credit card but he would not shut up to where I hung up on him. Now I get 2-3 calls daily even Sundays and probably double that in emails. Sorry I will not use this company ever.

Good company but very slow. I had some success with them but after two and a half years, the expense of it got to be too much especially since they could not get removed the remaining few items and pretty much conceded that. they keep you paying the monthly payment for months and months with little results. They get paid but you get nothing in return. I have only six negative issues on my report and they told me that it would take 3 - 6 months. But nothing was removed in three months, so hey get $300 and I get nothing. I cancel and only got a CR rep with the worst customer service ever saying that I agreed to the contract...Do not use this service. Like the statement above, the lawyers will hold the documents in their office as long as possible and send out emails to make you believe that they are doing something. The letters that they send to creditors are rejected and standard.

1. Improved credit scores about 40 pts each but it took over a year 2. Send protest letters to credit bureaus BUT misspelled my name ( I caught in on a returned letter) I am looking at giving them another chance. I had ID theft in 2006 and it has been a nightmare because the Credit Bureaus DO NOT confirm the validity of the report made or the debt created in the name of the consumer. which should be MANDATORY in a decent society. But they are greedy and really are selling data false data or not.

I am surprised to see high ratings for Lexington. Ultimately, I suppose I am thankful for their help, but the truth is that, out of frustration, I repaired my credit by myself. I only had one issue, but it was quite complex, and Lexington's method of sending letters monthly was a feckless effort at creating a solution. I kept track of my wait times on the phone. The average wait was over 20 minutes, and I often waited far longer than half an hour for someone to pick up. The record was a 41 minute wait. On 2 occasions, Lexington lost or misplaced hard copies of my documents. I spoke with a different paralegal every time I called. No "case worker." I had to go through the lengthy explanation of my circumstances every time I spoke with someone. It appears they do not have an internal system that documents conversations and circumstances. Lexington obviously has been helpful to many of their clients, but be prepared to be proactive. Their assembly line methods will only work for certain situations.

Apparently it is a good company but TOO SLOW for me. I had their “Concord”, top of the line and more expensive service for many months. Initially they showed some progress but soon, 5-6 moths passed without any progress. After a few communications showing concern and any further progress, I downgraded to the “credit repair only” service. No results at all, for about 9 months. Yes, 9 months without progress. The weird thing is that when I cancelled, their asked to answer a “service cancellation survey”. The survey said something like the “Concord” service letters to the creditors where more efficient, better or custom to my case. They offered if I wanted a complimentary upgrade to the “Concord Service” and since I didn't find the added value in the first place, I declined. It is risible because these are the details they don't say when you first inquire about the service. So, should assume the few moths that I was on the regular service, they sent repetitively the very same “template letter” to my creditors?

Truly unsatisfied with Lexington law service. I've been with them since September and they've only managed to remove 4 items in 9 months. My biggest complaint is how they mislead customers with the most people see 8 negative deletion in the first few months. I have a credit card with a 30 day lateness that completely paid off and the account is closed and they can't get that small item removed. From a real customer, don't waste your money.

About Lexington law crooks at Utah. Hi, just letting people know that this company is a scam. I called them I got charged about $13 by a guy name Paulino, who I couldn't understand, but okay. Then I simply said to the guy, I'm done, I don't want to do business with you and our conversation got cut-off so I thought that was it. Week or so after I was checking my bank statement and I notice about $100 from them. I immediately call them and they say; "well we begun working on your credit". How you can work on my credit and I didn't tell you do do anything other than take $13 for the credit check report. "Well we tried to contact you". Contact me, I told Paulino that I'm done. "Well I'm sorry bout we begun working on your credit and there is nothing I can do. I think I said enough about this crooks, so please don't do anything with this thieves. THANKS KOLE G

I don't really like to leave Negative feedbacks unless I see something very terrible. I started with Lexington law last year March which is March 2013 and today is April 2014 and I was on what they called "concord plan" which was about $99.99. Could you imagine that Lexington Law could not remove even a late payment that was mistakenly reported on my account, let alone a charge off for the 13 months I was on their miserable program. Just imagine $99.99 by 13 months. What they do is to try their luck, there is no professionalism on it. They made my case worst by trying this and that and the creditors was even making joke of them. I would have done a better job by myself than giving scammers $1300 for nothing. A friend of my disputed his case with the credit bureau by himself and all the negativities on his account was wiped out within 30 days, that's what people who called themselves Lexington Law firm couldn't do in a year. People should be careful with this Lexington scammers, they will keep you on the program until you are so broke and the worst part of it is that, they don't even answer their phones. The only time you will get them on phone is only when you are about to sign in, and the moment you signed in, that's it, you are on your own. Please be warned. I have been there, I have seen it, this is not a joke. Scammers. Scammers. Scammers. I really got ripped off.

I'm very dissatisfied with Lexington law! When they initially enrolled me and my wife they gave me information that was untrue: the first realm of bad information was that they will sent out disputes to all of my negative reporting, and after thirty days the companies that negative reportings that was not removed they would enter stage two with a second realm of letters. They did not do that, after the fact, I was educated to how they really work on my credit, they send out six letters a month; so I pay $99 dollars for six letter per month. And when I called to cancel they still wanted to charge me the next payment! I would not recommend this company to any one!

I did not get any benefit from signing up at Lexington Law. I was with them for 6 months. My credit score did not increase or decrease in the 6 months. But I had paid off all of my credit card debt which was 6000 dollars. They also send the same responses over and over again to their clients which is a drafted email by their paralegals. They don't customize anything for you. Instead they charge 100 dollars. After 100 months of putting money down the drain I stopped. I took the inquiries out of my account myself. They couldnt take down on unverifiable late payment from my account which were late because I never received a statement in the first place. Everything else in my credit is phenomenal. Those late payments were hurting me badly. But Lexington took money from me but did not help me and made false promises. If you credit score is 650 or above theres no point in going through Lexington Law. They will sign you up on false premise.

LLC SUCKS!!!! I had heard so much good about them and nothing is true. I decided that I wasn't going to use their services due to my bank offering the same services for $15.99! When I called to cancel which was on the 7 day of the so-called 7 days I had to decide to cancel, they informed me that they couldn't stop the payment which had already been submitted. Then when there wasn't enough to cover the amount they also charged another $19.99 on top of the $99.95. I couldn't beleive it, I called today and they still hadn't canceled my account and aren't trying to refund because it wasn't canceled. Now after 45 minutes talking and 45 minutes on hold, they're gonna listen to my phone call and call me back and let me know if I asked for my cancel. Are you serious????? LLC is a ripoff and a scam, maybe it's good for people who have money to blow. They do absolutely nothing for $100.00 every month, most banks offer the same services for 5% of what they charge, I mean they wanted me to fax them one of my credit reports? For what I was paying I shouldn't have to fax anything, I mean I only had 4 neg.

I paid Lexington Law a total of $400 over the last 4 months and I still have 21 of 21 bad items on my credit reports. Just so we are clear, I paid Lexington Law $400 to get nothing fixed on my credit over a 4 month time frame! During this time frame, Lexington had me print out letters and send them off myself to creditors, using my own stamps. You would think they could cover this with my $100 a month payment! Wait time on the phones is just as bad!!! You will wait for ever to talk with a person that knows less about credit then you. Overall in 4 months Lexington Law did nothing for me but take my money. When I asked for a full refund in writing they did not even respond. At that point I ended my pointless account with them. I am very disappointed in the work of Lexington Law firm. I was with them 19 months and they removed 6 or 7 negatives, but they stayed on my credit record so the score was not helped. Also, they say you get free credit reports with scores and that is not true. You get the reports, but you do not get the scores. I think an individual can write letters and achieve what they did and save hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I was warned about this company, but there hype was so good, that I signed up with them. That was a big mistake. So please know what you are getting into when you sign up.

I ordered the $12.99 credit report and told them (Call was recorded) DO NOT charge my credit card for any additional service other then the cost of the Credit reports $12.99. I told them I want to talk to a professional AFTER they have seen my credit report and tell me EXACTLY what can be challenged and what the success chances are. Either way Nobody contacted me and 5 days later they charged my Credit card for $99.95. I called them they played back the call said I was right the employee gave me a promise they would NOT use my credit card for ANYTHING other then the Credit Report and he would be terminated. I was told the charge would be cancelled and refunded. I checked my account today and the charge was NOT cancelled and cleared my credit card and there is no pending Refund. Now I had to file a fraud charge with Visa for the unauthorized charge and have my credit card cancelled. For all the Hype I have read on this company I expected better. Even if nobody was interested in helping me fix the errors on my credit report I did not expect them to boldly charge my card when I made it clear that IF and only IF I felt they could improve my credit report then I would offer an alternative form of payment. Having been through their "Refund" department I would NOT do business with them because 3 times I told them I did not commit to any service other then ordering my credit report and 3 times the "supervisor" said she was cancelling my order. Just the arrogance pisses me off because I did not commit to any monthly reoccurring charge whenever they feel like getting to it. Anyway This is an HONEST review.. They told me the charge would be cancelled and they processed it anyway...called my bank and no refund pending. People should remember (including me) be careful who your dealing with over the internet and if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

I have been a member of this service for 6 months, there is lots of sales hype initially to buy service and there was good results during the 1st month. During the next 5 months the service went lame and it seems there are lots of smoke and mirrors for the purpose to extend the service and continued billing. My billing cycle began on the 15th of each month and ended on the 14th of the following month. Therefore one would believe they were entitled to any services between those dates. I notified Lexington Law I would be cancelling the service on Dec 4th, after giving notice the representative informed me I would be required to pay an additional month because they have already begun working on my account in December??? Please explain to me how that works. The billing cycle is between the 15th and 14th of the following month, and although you notify Lexington Law you are cancelling on the 4th of the month, they bill you for another month because they have already started work during a time you have already paid for? I informed the customer service representative ( paralegal ) I would decline any additional charges with American Express and Lexington Law would be dealing with American Express concerning my dispute. Not what I would expect from a company
