I have been a member of this service for 6 months, there is lots of sales hype initially to buy service and there was good results during the 1st month. During the next 5 months the service went lame and it seems there are lots of smoke and mirrors for the purpose to extend the service and continued billing. My billing cycle began on the 15th of each month and ended on the 14th of the following month. Therefore one would believe they were entitled to any services between those dates. I notified Lexington Law I would be cancelling the service on Dec 4th, after giving notice the representative informed me I would be required to pay an additional month because they have already begun working on my account in December??? Please explain to me how that works. The billing cycle is between the 15th and 14th of the following month, and although you notify Lexington Law you are cancelling on the 4th of the month, they bill you for another month because they have already started work during a time you have already paid for? I informed the customer service representative ( paralegal ) I would decline any additional charges with American Express and Lexington Law would be dealing with American Express concerning my dispute. Not what I would expect from a company

did not say the truth about fees ,too many paralegals calling you and getting everything confused ,did not continue with them and now they are calling to the point of arrassing us ,they charged some upfront fees that at first they said they would compensate and now because of my cancellation they are refusing to fund me back ,five different paralegals trying to help me at the same time and getting themselves confused wow what a bad deal.

I tried Lexington Law over a year ago due to misreported information (reported foreclosures that were short sales and other similar). After 4 months, NOTHING... I canceled and then contacted the creditors myself and got it fixed in a month. I hired them because of the time I didn't have to spend. You would think that a credit PROFESSIONAL could have resolved something I was able to resolve with a few follow up phone calls. Then, I just recently saw a lien pop up. The county can't tell me what it's for, so I was hoping that LL would be able to handle that one. I got the runaround in just trying to explain the situation to see if they could do something. A simple letter to the credit company isn't going to do it because there is more digging to be done since it's a county we're dealing with and a public record issue. They sold me that they should be able to fix it. However, they were not even able to get all of my credit reports. They told me I had to call Experian and get it myself and upload it, likely to milk a month or two money out of me before even having to send a letter. The other thing that was bad is that they signed me up for the highest plan and didn't even let me know there were other options or what they were. The sales guy just charged me $99 instead of offering $49 or $79. The paralegals that were supposed to call to go over the situation never did. I assume it would have been another 4 months wasted and that I'd have to take matters into my own hands anyways. Also... for those of you that have been there for months/years... Credit scores increase naturally over time when adverse behavior ceases. This is not Lexington Law necessarily fixing it... If they're not removing items from your report, they're doing nothing for you. And items that are years and years old are often fixable with a simple letter that you could do yourself since they're almost near the drop off date anyways. I'd recommend trying out some of the other alternatives first. As the reviews say across the board, they are very slow and the results aren't very good..

I was with Lexington law for over 1 year and I had a lot of negative items on my credit from when I was a teenager. Thats more than 1000 bucks at 99 a month. It is a very slow process. I didn't see significant results with them. In that time I went from a 535 to 560 only on transunion. The other two were not affected.

Very disappointed in this company! It has been 5 months and they have YET to remove any item from my credit report. In addition, I have spent over $400 in paying them to do so. They provide you with poor customer service - speaking to a different representative every time you call. To me this was frustrating as I feel like the new representative had to update themselves on my case EVERY TIME! The final time I called, I spoke with what sounded like a young, arrogant, surfer. He continuously paused with uhhhhhh... and ahhhhh... sounding very confused as he read through my case. When I asked him WHAT I was being charged for in the 5 months I was a customer, he said, "well you had access to the website." I was like, "WHO CARES!!!" I wasn't paying for access to the website, I was paying Lexington Law to help me remove negative items from my credit report. One time I called to inquire about letters I had sent to them regarding creditors answering their initial letters. And the girl I spoke with said those letters hadn't even been connected to my account - what horrible organization. In the end, for 5 months, I paid $400 to have Lexington Law send out 9 letters on my behalf and gained access to a website that reviews my credit reports. Bottom line, if you're looking to improve your credit, investigate and inquire yourself. I inquired more and gained more success in removing items from my credit report by myself than in the 5+ months I was with Lexington Law. However, if you want to overpay for access to their website, then I suggest you start splurging your money.

All they do is try to remove items from your credit report, which may or may not happen. I spent over $500 with these guys to have three things removed. They do not help go over your credit and explain how to fix it. Again, they only try to remove things. I'm looking for a company that will analyze my credit and give me recommendations on what to do to fix it.

This company did not impress me, and they are paralegals? A hole in the wall credit repair company can get more accounts deleted than this company. I had only two accounts that I wanted deleted and after seven months and out of $1,000.00, the accounts are still on my credit report. Read all reviews, negative and good then you will see that the bad out weigh the good.

I signed on with LL to increase my credit score. I was told by a "paralegal" they could help me. After 3 months my credit score went from 670 to 580. When I inquired about the decrease I was told that generally happens when they send out their challenges . ? I've paid $300.00 for my credit score to drop 90 pts. Beware of LL. They talk in circles....too many so called paralegals working on your case. Very dissatisfied. I should of sent these monies to my one and only credit card.

When my husband and I signed up they told us a combined rate as a married couple but instead they charged us $99.95 per person. We didn't even need that plan in the first place. When I discovered it three months later I called and told them what they had done they would not completely fix the charges. The woman I talked to even admitted we didn't need that plan. We are not happy with the results they are doing either. I called another time and talked to a paralegal and he didn't even understand what I was talking about and said he would call me back in an hour. Never heard from him. We are not impressed.....at all.

I give this company a 1!!!! Back in 2003, I had Lexington work on my credit. After 90 days of $99 a month, I was not happy with the minimal effect they had on my credit. I wrote them to cancel. They did not cancel me, they continued to hit my debit card. So I had the bank block them and stop payment put on the account. I didn't think about them again until 8 months later, I noticed debit charges on my bank account. I contacted the bank about the charges and they researched it and said it was Lexington Law. They waited til the stop payment expired after 6 months and started charging me for services they were not providing. My bank was able to recover one charge but not the other and Lexington never refunded me the other $99 charge. What crooks! Do not trust these people as far as you can throw them.

Been with them over a year. All items that were deleted, either were deleted because they expired on their own or I disputed them myself. NOT one single item was deleted because of action Lexington took. They bombarded my creditors with one dispute letter after another, which was completely useless, as the creditors either replied (directly to me) with proof of validity of debt, or ignored their repeated (quite generic) correspondence. If you have the patience and will to do it, you can do everything they do. Just write a bunch of disputer letters to the 3 credit bureaus and your creditors every 2 - 3 months. Totally useless.

Lexington Law Firm mislead me on their billing process. I called to cancel my membership two weeks after my first payment and they charged me for another month. When I signed up the girl told me that as long as it was at least four days before the one month mark I would not be charged. When I called to cancel they stated that my first $99.00 payment was a retainer fee - I was never told this when I signed with them. Their billing practices are shady, don't trust them! I don't have any results from the credit agencies yet as far as the dispute letters that Lexington wrote on my behalf, so I can't comment on that as of right now.

Quite expensive. After several months they were not successful at removing a couple of late payment items. I have one tiny charge-off item from 208 they never did get removed. When I complained, they said they do not address each item. What they do is send out tons of letters, most of them repetitive, and don't bother with any follow-up. I think they make tons of money by stringing you along with false promises. I quit after paying them almost $1,000. My FICO did not change at all while I was with them. Was like throwing a grand down the toilet.

Me & My Fiance joined LL as a family package which was supposee to be $99.99 per month for both (we were told). Next month they were calling me regarding $99.99 for me. I told them my fiance paid already and they said that was for him you have a seperate fee. I was outraged. I am still fighting with them on the $99.99 and I cancelled all my services. Ongoing investigation until this day and I will be contacting the BBB.

This websites review is completely wrong! First of all, those 'PARALEGALS' are nothing but $8/hour employees that memorized and answered about 10 questions and got the PARALEGAL status. Absolutely lame and crooked the way they portray themselves. Phone support?? Good luck getting through. The only reason they appear so big is because it is LOW BUDGET repair. They sign up 1000's everyday. Because it doesn't take much money to do it. What MOST of the agents on the phone won't tell you, is that this process is estimated to take them 18 months or more. YEP. 18 MONTHS. You are judging a book by its cover by giving Lexington Law this kind of good review. SWINDLERS that sign up people that shouldn't be signing up. The people you talk to on the phone their, don't care about anything but getting in your wallet. Because once they have your credit card number, you won't hear from that person ever again. THIS IS THE TRUTH FOLKS!

I am using this site to replace Lexington law. Lexington law is all about getting your money. The 'paralegal' staff (basically just sales people trying to sign you up) are rude. You never can deal with the same person, you are passed around and never know who you are going to talk to next. All there services are, is to send letters to your creditors and credit bereaus about things that may or may not be reporting on your credit score. The companies may stop or not, it's up in the air. Either way you are still stuck with a $100 a month bill for them just to write letters. If you are considering Lexington law or any company similar i would go to google, look up how to write letters to creditors and just do it on your own. I was terribly disappointed with lexington law and their rude customer service!

I have been with Lexington Law for about a year and have had 12 items removed at 99.00 a month. In the first couple months things fell right off my credit. However, after that it takes some serious hounding and work on MY part to get anything done. I paid 3 months to have the bankruptcy taken off my transition report and what do you know, it's back on their. Such a waste of my money. I am very dissapointed it is taking so long. It's been 4 months since anything has been removed off of any of my reports. I'd say they drag it out to get your money. I also have referred three people that are now using their business. I will refer NO MORE! If things change I will update. To say the least I'm highly disappointed.

This is a legal scam, a bottomless cash pit designed to milk every penny out of clients. I have been with them since September 2012 till December. They never "challenged" all the items from the beginning to prolong the process and the payments. My credit score has dropped from 607 to 540 not that I wasn't expecting it to fluctuate meanwhile the amount I had paid to them is equivalent to the items I was disputing. When I called to cancel they offered to put me on a less "expensive" and "more aggressive" plan from 99.00 to 25.00. Thinking I would be stupid and say yes I asked what the cheaper but aggressive plan would do different- here is the joke " it would focus on one credit bureau at a time". Can you believe that? Moreover when you search for reviews online there "seem"to be one invoking the FTC that is written Lexington Law firm which makes me even doubt these here that give 10 scores. I work for a financial institution bank card division and everyday we get people calling to ask we give them a new check card to save them from Lexington Law I should have researched them first. Too good to be true.

I have been with Lexington Law for 2 and a half years like most of the you they did great at the begin, I have remove half of the alleged debt on my credit report myself, it seems to me now that Lexington Law is #1 they have forgotten what got them there; they have change their website and are forcing customers that already had access to information on their website to up grade there services for information that we already had access to. Next they do not up date your information any more nor do they respond to emails within their 24 hours window, the closer you get to completing your credit problems the slower they are going to move. This company if they do not fits these problems are going to be just like the others credit repair company's; Lexington Law has forgotten that word of mouth is the best advertisement for their customer. At this time I would not refer anyone to this company although I have refer over 20 customers to this company because they used to be beautiful but now they are just normal.

One tactic is to dispute different creditors for each credit report, this way if you cancel, you will have 1 creditor removed off of one report, but the same creditor will remain on the other 2 reports. In addition, I had to notify them and alert them to the fact that no dispute letters were sent out on my behalf in the month of October. Not pleased with the service at all.

I signed up for this company after doing extensive research and was very excited to see what they would do with my credit. I dont know if it is because all of my negative items are from student loans (maybe they are harder to get removed?) but they have only gotten two things removed out of 40. I called to understand the process better, but the customer service representative referred me to an email he was going to send and then asked me if I wanted to close my account and they would stop helping me. Not very impressed, definitely not worth the money.

lexington law firm is a great company to work with in the beginning stages!!they will remove negative items off your report yes!! but as time and money get spent you will start to notice that the process will slow down tremendously!! overall i have spent 1200 dollars over a year time frame and the same items that were removed in the first 2 months were the same items that have only been removed in the whole year!!also know that lexington law firm has no way of updating your Equifax report thats why you will notice transunion.and experian are always the ones that seem like the most reports with the negative items being romoved!!just an fyi!overall i have decided to close down my acct for i have spent 1200 dollars and have really gotten no improvements!! one very unhappy customer...

We have been with them for over 5 months now and not much has happened. VERY SLOW getting results. Between my wife and I we are paying 180 a month for what? I have 11 negative items and only 1 has been removed and from only one bureau. In addition when I contact them via email about an issue they give me a standard basic generic answer. That really gets me upset. One more month and if no results they are going to lose 2 customers. Already checking out other options.

They tell you that they are going to charge 99.00 for two people to join -- then you find out they charge you separately -- then you find out that they are slow in their process and offer no guarantee -- then that they may take months and that after the first month they are going to charge both people 99 a month... You would not know this if you did not poke into the fine print. They rush you into agreeing to terms that are lengthy and complicated and that you cannot trust -- and if you read them thoroughly you find out that you are signing up for much more than they explain. Their paralegals are not friendly. They can provide no rationale for why they would have any incentive to act quickly on your case -- meaning they don't. Then they take forever to get you removed from their system. Do not trust their sales agents. They pretend that their reputation indemnifies them from honestly reporting on what they can do and how they do it. As well as what they charge. Do not use them. They will take very long because they have no incentive to act quickly and they will not be upfront with you.

Overpriced with very little results. Improvement with credit repair is very slow. You will do better addressing errors on your credit report on your own, They move at snail speeds in getting things addressed all the while they’re withdrawing their fees from the customers on a timely basis. Save your money. Quicken Loans is an excellent resource in educating clients and potential clients on tips that will improve their credit score. If you have money to throw away, then Lexington Law is the way to go but if you would rather be more conservative with your money, talk to experts who review credit matters daily.
