Long but several money scams played out by sprint. I joined sprint awhile back and now have left. It was a large family group and they continued to change my bills randomly when nothing changed. First it was “you crossed the border so it’s more expensive to use it in Mexico.” I told them how am I in Mexico!? I’ve never left my state!? So they said they would fix it but never did. They couldn’t explain why my bill jumped 200 bucks and then after months said oh you missed a months payment that’s why. When asked what month they gave me a random one near when I signed up and I showed them proof I paid. Then I was given the oh sorry wrong month it’s this one. Again proof I paid. Often they do “repairs” to the cell towers but with no warning so people would go to the store confused why there was no service. The store then said please put in complaints to they will get it back up in a days time rather than several days. Fast forward I was tired of random fees popping up so I sent in my phones with proof I did and proof I spoke to someone saying they received all phones. I was told to wait for my final bill if I do in fact owe anything. Skip a month nothing so I call asking where it was and they say we can’t talk to you unless you promise to pay and undisclosed amount. Which I denied because it could be a million bucks for all I know. I said why I just want to know where my bill is I’m not promising anything. They said because we sent you to collections. I said but I’m waiting for my bill you said would be here by the end of the month it’s the end of the month! They hung up on me. I got several rude collectors calling me to which I explained I can’t pay anyone until I get a bill I’m not throwing a million dollars at you and hoping you bring me change once you decide what to keep. I called sprint again and they said they could remove me from collections and would be glad to send me a bill. If and only if I did a promise to pay for an undisclosed amount. They refused to send me a bill until a I promised but I did not so after ignoreing them for a month and a half I received two “final bills” saying different prices. One said it was 2000 because I supposedly skipped several months pay the other was a few hundred less claiming they never got my phones. When I called they said to pay both amounts separate.

I would like to acknowledge complete professionalism from an agent in the Sprint Finance Dept named, Akkeria. When other agents in her dept would leave me on hold for 20 minutes and even hang up on me after calling back, I gratefully was able to get Akkeria on the line and she took the time to listen to my concern and do everything within her power to try and generate a resolve. Normally, incompetence and apathy (such as what I experienced with the previous two agents) are generally the status quo that I've experienced from many numerous depts of large companies like Sprint (and including Sprint). Departments that should be focused on resolve and customer satisfaction are at best only "pretending" to solve any real issues from a script that doesn't cover the problem at all or at worst, just place you on hold until you get tired of waiting and hang up. And lets not forget my recent and previous experience today, before Akkeria, when both a 20 minute wait and a hang up both occurred before I had to call back for a 3rd time! Akkeria is an agent that stands out from the rest and I only wish Sprint and other companies like Sprint would look to hire and train more people like her!

Service is pretty good most of the time. Dislike the fact that they offer tons of deals for new customers but once they have you they are done. There are no offers for long standing customers, phones are very expensive, lots of billing issues if you make changes to your account. This used to be a great company who always looked out for their customers but not so much anymore.

I've used Sprint as my service provider for 3 years now, and they are a pretty average Cell phone service provider. I have had random times where my service was poor and unusable, but nothing too terrible. I am on a framily plan which makes my plan affordable, but going over charges are outrageous, and they don't give you any warning that you are over, or any ability to limit to stop yourself from going over unless you vigilantly check daily. Overall I'm satisfied with my plan through them.

I have been a loyal customer to sprint for about 7 years now, and I will say I use to love sprint because the company has always been above and beyond to to satisfy my needs up until recently when I called to get some information on upgrading my phone & to report my airpods stolen, the customer service with 4 Different representatives were disappointing. They acted like they were going to replace my AirPods and had me make a claim and be on the phone for over an hour for them to tell me that I never made a claim. They also tried to charge me way more than the phone was totaled up to be on the sprint App. I’m not an entitled loyal customer but I did expect sprint to treat me with some respect and not tell me anything to get me off the phone.

I had Sprint with my ex-husband from 1998-2008, then with my daughter from 2009-2020. I never had issues, but my daughter did. Her coverage was horrible. No matter which phone we got her, she struggled with coverage, but I never did. It gets pretty expensive, but other than my daughter's problem, I never had any problems. HIGHLY recommend Sprint!!!

We have been loyal Sprint customers for many many years. When they merged, we thought things would improve, but we have really not ever seen improvements. Instead, we have not been able to update our landline phone, because Sprint no longer does landlines, nor equipment. It is more difficult to get any type of phone customer service that seems reliable and educated, and it makes our experiences with customer service, when we need to call, not pleasant. Their charges seem high, and I cringe when the bill comes, not knowing fully what to expect. Lots of dropped calls lately, between myself and many other family members. Phone cuts out, and I really do not want to go into a Sprint store with covid anytime soon. Overall, frustrating.

Instead they will just keep charging you the reoccurring payment which I don’t think is very ethical but I have great cell reception usually wherever I go. I do wish I could use the Internet while I was also on the phone but as long as you’re on Wi-Fi it’s not an issue

Been with Sprint for over 20 years. Great company, but only in certain areas. Over time the service seems to have diminished despite all their new technology they've "implemented". Dont have many dropped calls, however network can be hit or miss daily. Thankfully the majority of us have wifi. 4G network can work great at times but other times become nonexistent. There lease program is a gimmick compared to how things were in the past where you would just pay off your phone. Now you could end up paying more for your phone than what it's worth. Sounds greedy to me. Unless this is changed I doubt I could give them a higher rating.

I recently moved over to Sprint from my previous long time carrier. What made me move over to Sprint was the pricing which is phenomenal. The service that they offer for the money you pay is spot on although overall it isn't great. I can say that they have met my expectations because I wasn't expecting to be blown away. I would recommend for price but not necessarily for the actual cell phone service.

Sprint is the worst and most worthless wireless company you could ever go with. Cricket and boost mobile are a way better option. The Sprint company is a bunch of thieves and liers. They promise one plan with services and then go back and charge you for everything they offered as free. I was promised 2 lines and 2 phones for one price per month and after signing the contract I was overpaying by almost $60 per month. They would not let me speak to the representative who originally sold me this plan. Their customer service is garbage. Spent 30 min minimum every time I called in just waiting for an answer. But after hours of being on the phone with reps who kept passing me around, we got nowhere. Non of the reps I spoke with presented their real name nor do I believe that they are even in the U.S. This company has been a hassle for everything so far. It is even difficult to cancel a line or contract. They are a bunch of scammer. The worst part is I've been with them for over 8 years hoping, and getting promised that things would get better but never did. I would never recommend this company to anyone, not even my enemy.

About three years ago my wife and I switched from Sprint to another mobile carrier. When we turned in our old phones at a small satellite store they put them in the back room and due to some confusion on who they belonged to they did not get turned in for credit. We received a message from Sprint stating we did not get credit due to our phones not being turned in. We went back the store and found out the phones where still there. We took the phones back into our possession and took them to a regional Sprint store here in Boise ID and turned them in. It seems that even though the manager of that store assured us that the matter would be taken care of it did not. Since that time we have been turned into several collection agencies for a $260 debt, we contact Sprint tell them the situation they say oh okay we’ll take care of it just to have another collection filed from a different company. We would like this resolved “Immediately” without delay. I want all collections removed and a letter from Sprint absolving us from any and all debt or fault.

Sprint is all about sales. The customer service in store explains as little as possible and if you don't know to ask, you'll see it in your bill later. I'm glad they are transitioning to T-mobile. Joe W real person, customer of sprint for 14 years (since 2007). My service is terrible. Their web site is complicated and geared toward getting new phone service or expanding your existing account. They have closed down some towers since T-Mobile aquired and now my service is limited; they said the network I am on will shut down January and I need a new phone . They ply you with "free" phone upgrades are not free and, in fact, expensive. You end up being locked in to their service for 24 months. If you cancel service early, the "free" phone is costing several hundred dollars. This company is expensive and dishonist. For my 14 years of consumer loyalty, I get no more than a new subscriber. This company has abused me. Do not use T-Mobil or Sprint, they are dishonest.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had. It started when our account trasferred over to T Mobile and then they only had my deceased mom on the account after she passed 10 years ago so I had to jump through many hours of phone calls with Sprint and hours at Sprint locations to change liability. Then upgraded to a new Iphone online but after I activate the phone with the new t mobile SIM card, it wont take a charge. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Sprint to get a new one, then they tell me I have to pay for the phone again and wait for a refund when I send the old phone. Horrible customer service.

As a Sprint customer for over 8 years, I implore you not to go through Sprint to upgrade or add services to your existing Sprint account. Go through T-Mobile directly or change carrier completely. Sprint’s sales agents uses a bait and switch tactic promising lower costs but when you receive your monthly bill the amount quoted is much higher. When you escalate the bait and switch tactic to a customer service supervisor, they are aware of this practice and attempt to placate you by offering you a credit settlement that is minuscule relative to the bait and switch. In addition, you can spend anywhere from 30 - 90 minutes on the telephone pleading your situation. Sprint customers, don’t fall for the “you’re a legacy customer and we appreciate your years of service with Sprint.” That the bait before you experience the switch. BUYER BEWARE!

I have had the most horrible customer service experience I've ever had with Sprint/T-Mobile! I have been with Sprint since 2016 and since the merge I've had nothing but problems with my service, with my messages, but the worst of them all was the experience I just had over the course of the last few weeks. I ordered a phone through the website. The website showed the phone in stock. The money was taken out of my account the same day I placed the order and the next day I received an email that my phone was on back order. When I called they told me there was nothing they could do about it I just had to wait. I asked if I could have store credit they said no, I asked if I could change for another device they said no. My only option was to cancel my order. They told me if I didn't hear anything in a few days to call back and cancel my order. So I waited a few days. Before calling I checked the site to see my order status. It showed "pending" so I figured I'd just cancel it myself. When I clicked cancel order I got an error message saying "Your order has been shipped or canceled" I went back to order status to see if it had been canceled and it was still showing pending. So I called. The person I talked to told me that they couldn't cancel it either and they didn't know why, and that I had to wait. So I waited another week. Still nothing. No updates, no emails that it was shipped, order still showed pending. I called again. This time I was told that I had to wait because it wasn't showing back order anymore but now it had to wait for the carrier to say shipped. Yet when you check the order status there is a box that says ready to ship, but it was still showing pending. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he denied my request. Later that night I received an email that my order was canceled due to item being out of stock and the money that I had withdrawn from my account for the new phone was put towards my next bill instead of refunded to me. When I called they gave me the complete run around. Everything she was telling me did not make any sense. I have had hiccups with Sprint in the past, and they have always been quick to fix the problem. I have NEVER been told "You have to wait" so many times with no updates what so ever.

Worst possible customer service. In order to use the 5g network, they told me I needed to use T-Mobile's SIM card. I called and installed per their directions for installation. It did not work. After 3 calls and 2 1/2 hours on the phone, my phone is rendered dead. When I finally asked to speak someone knowledgeable, i.e., a manager, the lady came back 15 minutes later, would not let me speak to a manager, and transferred me to technical support. After 15 minutes on hold for technical support, i received notice that their hours end at 9: 00 PM central time. I've been with Sprint for 20 years. That will now end. Tonight I have no phone service. I will need to take off work, go into to a store, and hopefully after a few hours wasted time, I will have phone service restored. I'll now have to decide between Verizon and AT and T. Shameful.

I have been a Sprint Customer for over 12 years. I ran past my original contract and since I live in one of a number of states that allow a certain Lease Laws, Wisconsin being one of them, they automatically turn your original contract into a Lease Contract which allows them to demand the phone back even if you do the buy out price, which in my case was 135.00. So I either stay with them and their unfair business practices or give the phone back that I have paid for and start fresh with another carrier with no phone to trade in and pay a higher price. Half a year of a fake promotion. I took on my fathers sprint account when he had passed away in may of 2020 and in the following month when i took ownership they had a promotion of buying a free line for a 1 time payment of 35 or 50 dollars i dont remember exactly which and i of course grabbed it because if someone needed help they could use the free line. IT WASNT A 1 TIME PAYMENT. I have now called almost every month since because instead of paying for my 1 unlimited line of 64 dollars plus my phone lease i was now paying 105 dollars a month because that "free line" i was being charged for every month. Today i call to pay my past 2 bills because apparently my auto pay doesnt work and i cant create a sprint account online and they tell me i must pay 300 dollars and will still owe another almost 200. Do not go with this company. Ever since myfathers death ive done nothing but pay more in money and time to resolve something that should mever had been a problem. Again dont ever go with sprint or t mobile since they merged now. And the only reason i cant upload the money thing on here is because it changed monthly.

I started my contract back in 2018. I made it clear I wanted to own my phone not lease it. I was instructed by March 2020 that i would pay the phone in full for $265 or opt for the monthly payment to buyout the phone. I called them to verify the information. I opted for the monthly buyout. 9months after and I get a message saying I'm still on a lease. I call them to let them know that can't be possible and they said they don't see the information, That I never opted for the monthly, i can either get on 9 month plan(which i already opted for back in March) or upgrade the phone and stay on a contract for 9months. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!! they are trained to nickel and dime you. It's disgusting because they are a big company and they can get away with it. The network is rubbish. Sprint/t-mobile is the worst company to have a cellphone plan with. Their rates are high and you do not get service and the data plan doesn't work. Worst company I ever had. I've been with att&t for 15 years and decided to go to sprint for the phone and plan but I did not get what was advertised and customer service is the worst I've ever experience. No one speak English and understands what im saying I have to go to the corporate office to get my matter handle. For two phones im paying well over $200 and ppl have a plan of 4 paying that much. Im going back to att&t and convinced my whole family to get rid of sprint. My friends are either prepaid or with version or att&t and metro. Better off than sprint. Now t-mobile took over that trash
