AT&T has been my cell phone carrier for years. I find them reliable and effective. They have great customer support. I can't imagine using any other company.

Juli ,

Once upon a time, AT&T served as this wonderful titan in the post-industrial world. Now it has become this bottomless epitome of corporate greed. One hand offers new potentials ‘deals’ while the other hand slaps the little people around to keep them in the relatively powerless place they need for them to be. One excellent example of this is their cell phone trial service. They offer phone trial periods, don’t tell you that the time they ship to the time you receive and activate your phone counts towards that time, don’t tell you that the time it takes for them to receive it counts, and sometimes before you even receive the phone your 2-wk trial period runs out! To add insult to injury, they kept the iPhoneX I returned in 2018, verified it was still in new condition, then have harassed me since then about the $1200 they want from me and the phone they stated they keep along w/the $1200! I have spent hours over the years trying to discuss the absurdity of their trial program, 1week shipping time to me, their insistence that they are practicing corporate ethics by demanding the phone (to sell to someone else) AND $1200. And if none of that was insulting enough, their customer service had repeatedly sent emails stating I would be refunded initially. But then they later stated that customer service was wrong. Until I saw a room full of people laughing at John Oliver’s criticism of AT$T, I never knew just how many of us had had similar experiences.

After being with AT&T for over 10 years, it became apparent that they are not willing to be competitive in the marketplace. Customer retention did not seem to be important to them. So I moved to Verizon last year and have been happy.

Fair services. Fair prices. I enjoy the wifi in my car that is from ATT. They have all the same phones as everyone else, great deals too. Great deals all the time.

I have been with AT&T for over 10 years. I have considered moving to another carrier like Verizon or TMobile, but the value vs cost of AT&T is a good balance. Also, their service and coverage area is consistently reliable.

They are by far the worst phone company to get any direct answers from. The hold time is absolutely ridiculous and the reps cannot even speak clear English. I cannot understand half of what they say and then they transfer me all over the world just to get one change made to my service. They are overpriced!

When we first got at&t they were great. But comparing to other cell phone companies there are things my husband can’t do while on business that he needs to do without a hassle. Other providers have options making his group calls for instance very easy.

ATT has the best reach of any carrier, BUT it has the worst customer service in the entire world! There is NO company worse than ATT when it comes to customer service. Each department that you get transferred to will NOT know what the other department has done, promised to do, or was expected to do - even through the "notes" they say they leave behind.

Get a good rate. I am an original iPhone user who switched to ATT back when Apple sold it only on ATT. Over the years I have been disappointed with the coverage. Thinking of paying up to go to Verizon or paying down to T-mobile and save some money at least. I typically end up using my home internet for making calls anyway...

Recently, I went to AT & T for new cell phone service, because of was having terrible service with a company called Qlink Wireless. I told the customer service rep that I love computers and having been working with them for almost 30 years and exclusively use Microsoft Windows. With that information, the customer rep should have sold me an Android phone! Instead the customer service rep negligently sold me an iPhone. Let me say one thing - THE IPHONE STINKS! Unlike Android phones, there is no back button on the iPhone. That is a HUGE MISTAKE. Secondly, I had tremendous difficulty with the iPhones' Home Button, and had to depress the Home Button multiple times to get the iPhones' desktop to open with the icons. Another problem with AT & T is that they are EXPENSIVE! In less than 24 hours, I closed my AT & T account and went to Metro PCS where I got a similar phone plan for $30 less. And by the way, the customer service rep at Metro gave me a Motorola phone with Android, and told me he hated iPhones too!

I had AT&T for years before switching to Credo Mobile. I found that I constantly had hidden fees with AT&T, I didn't have great coverage, and I don't agree politically with all of the causes that the company donates large amounts of money to. I switched to Credo Mobile a few years ago, and my bills have been cheaper, customer service has been much easier to access and more helpful, and I feel better about the causes my money is going to support.

My company was with AT&T when I started here and since then I have switched out cell coverage over to Verizon. AT&T customer service always took over 10 minutes to pick up my call and it always seemed like they hated their jobs and that I was interrupting their day by calling in. The plan was super expensive as well. The only good thing our their cell coverage is that we had free calls in Mexico When it comes to their home service that are way better than Cox Communication. I have internet and phone at home, it is comparable to cox internet in my opinion and a lot less expensive

I've been with AT&T for years and as long as you don't have any problems, the company is great. Once you have a little trouble, it's so hard to get help. Prices are super high, but the phone service is probably one of the best. Once in awhile, you'll qualify for a great deal so it's not an arm and a leg for this service.

I used AT&T for 13 years until 4 years ago. I switched to another provider after they had me combine my AT&T cell service with my Direct TV service. My bill became jacked up and I ended up owing more instead of saving. AT&T didn't make it right so I left and went to another provider who I have been happy with.
