Customer service is pretty good. I'm always happy with most outcomes. Unfortunately, I've come to the understanding that they are pricey & have begun to contemplate the idea of switching.

Excellent coverage but the cost is too high. They told me by phone that data coverage is required because of one smart phone. I have heard from other companies it is not.

My bill was crammed with insurance on the cellphone. They were very nice when I called to remove it.But it should have never occurred in the first place. They gave me a great deal on an IPAD but I did not want it activated.they did so anyway on a two year contract.I am a retiree and can safely say that ATT employees commit unlawful and dishonest business practices due to the pressure to sell.

Have 12 lines, 3 accounts and been a customer since 04 and still I wasn't allowed to add a line because 1 account was past due. And it wasn't even the account I was needing to add to. Everyone I talked to was rude and basically told me to cancel if that's what I want.

Wasted so much of my time on hold and dealing with ineffectual representatives re accessing my account, a user on my account that I've never heard of and locked into a bogus contract for another 18 months when everyone around me is upgrading and getting free phones. Such a waste of time and so lacking. They are too big to deal.

I am not an AT&T customer but someone has put my email address as the contact email for their new AT&T account. As a result, I receive in my inbox all their confidential information (access credentials, billing, confirmation of installation appointments, account PIN, etc.) This has been going on for well over a month. I have repeatedly contacted AT&T customer support by twitter and by phone (which is not cheap, given that I live in England) but they refuse to do anything about it. They now no longer reply to any of my twitter messages, private or public.

I have been with them for 11 months they sold me a plan that was expired and had more hidden fees when they showed up for installation. They also were supposed to bundle my services and this has yet to happen in almost a year. Every time they say they will bundle they say it would take 2 to 3 billing cycles to show up. I have heard this four times now I am just over it. I wish I had never switch from my company

Was on chat and requested a manager. Rep said it would be a security breach to transfer me to a manager. He finally agreed after I challenged and pressed him. Manager said was with another customer and rep should schedule a callback. I never heard anything. So, I got on chat a couple days later and I was transferred to a supervisor, who 45 minutes later, still hadn't even greeted me.

Expensive services, billing rate change after 1/2 the contract period is completed. Overpriced. Service in my area is intermittent. Often discover when driving across town to the side of town that has ample towers available, that I missed a ton of calls, voicemails, and text messages. Again overpriced and limited coverage from a company that advertises 100% coverage across the nation.

We use AT & T for all of our phones (3) There aren't enough cell towers in our area making reception a bit spotty. I was signed up for a plan that gave me very poor service. Upon calling I was told that I could save money and get better service on another plan, which I now have. The rep was great !

Called 611 to do a simple upgrade on my phone. The customer service rep took it upon himself to make a commission off me. He gave me two additional lines, which he said would be one. He promised my bill would be cheaper, but not even close. I had to go to an authorized store, return my phones, and start the process all over. I wasted 5 hours dealing with that mess. They basically have a monopoly in rural areas, and the customer be damn. The most complicated company to resolve a simple issue, and top management is a joke to allow this to take place. If you doubt my review, give them a try, you’ll see I’m being honest. They are a disgrace!

Not the best company but not the worst. Once they got the billing straight and the mailing right we were ok. But not an easy task lots of red tape and robo calls. ONE thing I do notice is on ATT... I get a lot more scam calls. Not sure why that is but definitely more. Using mobile service only! Nothing special about AT&T! Just another utility co,

Terrible experience. The internet never worked, not even the fiber. The nearly destroyed my neighborhood installing fiber and now there's hideous plastic houses for it in a lot of my neighbors front yards. Can't tell you enough how horrible the internet service was, even after numerous visits by techs. Finally, a tech installed an ugly box on my kitchen wall. It goes to a box on the outside of my house so it can't be removed without hiring someone to fill in the holes sinxe he drilled several holes from inside my house all the way through to the outside. My house was brand new at the time. I would've never allowed that to happen had I realized beforehand. Internet still didn't work after all that mess either. Had to switch back ti my old provider and was stuck in a contract for services that I literally never used. They still harrass me daily with calls and now I'm receiving letters from collections demanding I pay out for breaking my contract...pay for services not recieved.

AT&T has been my go-to provider for years, but they drop out more than any other service I've had. The only reason I've stayed is because I've been grandfathered into a few deals and they offer HBO Max, which I love. But T-Mobile def has better service.

They start you out with low rates, then raise them without notice. They also start you out with high speeds but “Throttle” you by slowing sown speeds, until you complain, then they try to sell you a more expensive package.

Being the first wireless company to offer the iPhone was AT&T's smartest move. After that benefit went away, rollover minutes were a nice touch. Now days, these are not really benefits, but are the bare minimum expectations from wireless providers and AT&T has been playing catch up to companies like T-mobile to win back customer satisfaction. The taxes and fees on my bill were always high and obscure, but I have since found simpler and more cost effective billing elsewhere.

I did not have a good experience when I was a customer with AT&T. Their products and network quality were fine; albeit a bit over priced for what I was receiving, but the real problem came with their customer service. The employees at the local store were awful. The wait time was always exceptionally long, even if I was the only one there. The employees were rude and super unhelpful if you had any issues. It’s ultimately the reason I switched carriers.
