I was disappointed in the color choices for the blinds. I struggled to pick the perfect color for each room. However when they came there was very little difference between the blue , the gray, and the green. It would have been less stressful to just pick one color for all. The second thing I was disappointed about and wish I had known at the outset was the fact that when the motor stops working, there is no manual backup. When mine stopped working within the first 2 months, my living room was fairly dark until someone finally got out to reprogram the blinds. But on the plus side, everyone who came to my house was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional! All in all I am very happy to have my windows covered and none of my issues would stop me from recommending 3 Day, but I will definitely warn whoever asks me about the things that learned through this experience.

When I had the blinds installed the first time on the 3 windows, 2 of the windows were little windows and the poles were put on the wrong side so you could see them from the big open room, rather than against to the wall where you wouldn't see them. I called and sent 3 Day pictures and talked to them about it, they said no problem, we'll just remake the blinds at no charge. They couldn't move the pulleys from one side to the other, the mechanisms up in the top, so they just made the blinds and brought them out and reinstalled them.

I really liked our salesperson. She was very knowledgeable and walked us through our options and I think she gave us a pretty fair price. Our installation was super fast. The guy came and we were all installed in about 10 minutes. I think they're very nice. They give a very nice look to our room. I really love how the edges are bound and it looks really nice and very professional.

The product is very good, the installation professional & well done, but the advertising as 2 for one is not clear. Once involved, I should have cancelled the contract. With installation & delivery, it’s not really 2 for one. Simply the product is too expensive & how long they will last is also an unknown. I felt the sales team was personable & knowledgeable, but the billing was confusing. I did compare costs when I was trying to consider cancelling to an up island company that did not return calls & a company in Southampton which was even more expensive. Though I love the blinds, the project was way too expensive for me. I should have looked for more reasonable alternatives. So that’s on me.

Peggy's (sales person) advice was awesome! She was very professional and provided great information. The person doing the measurements was very quick and did an accurate job. The installation company took 3 weeks to schedule and the installation still isn't completed. I still have 8 business days before the installer will be available-- the appointment setter said that was the first available appointment for installation. I asked for the option to have the blinds installed by someone of my choice, but they said it wasn't an option. The only reason I didn't give the company 5 stars-- because of the poor installation process. I also believe that the long delay for installations should be disclosed up front-- maybe even saying the the name of the company is 3 day blinds-- but that doesn't include a 3-4 week installation delay.

This is outrageous after I’ve spent thousands on my total order. Part two is to be delivered 5/19. This delivery includes valances and draperies. The girl who initially met with was wonderful, right on top of everything, had all kinds of answers. She came out immediately, measured, discussed the one window that was going to be difficult and it was done. One of my blinds came in in three days and one came in in three months, so I'm not exactly sure what that meant. That was a little disappointing, but once it was in it was outstanding.

I had Next Day Blinds, and when they went out of business, 3 Day Blinds took over for them. The salesmen and man that put the shades was very professional and I love the shades - they are gorgeous. Purchasing from them was easy and convenient. I was very unhappy that I had to make a payment with my credit card over the phone because the installer wouldn't take a check. I thought I would get a bill from you guys, and the next thing I know I get a statement from you guys saying the took the money out of my checking account. I was very unhappy because I thought they would at least notify me and get my person. But they just went ahead and did it on their own. You should notify your customers before you take money out of their account and return my phone calls.

They replied within one or two days. Then I had a representative contact me set up a time that was convenient for me, and she was very knowledgeable when she came out to the house, brought samples and they people that installed the blinds were very courteous. They kept us informed of the status of the blinds arriving and set up a time that was good for us and the man that installed them was very knowledgeable. very efficient, did a great job. They're well made. They block out the cold from our from the windows and the doors. They're great for privacy. They filter out the lights and we can put them wherever we want them up and down easily.

They are beautiful and they look good. I liked the personal service of getting to look at it in your home and choose according to your colors and see it in your light of your home. I had a great experience with them in the past so I knew I wanted to use them again. Its a little difficult to get through on the phone, to but once you get through you get good service. The two representatives I've had in my home we're very personable and very knowledgeable and they were very helpful in leading me toward what I was looking for, so I have nothing but praise for that representative. They're a little expensive.

I have been waiting over six weeks for replacement blind on one of seven windows they did. The blind has to be replaced, because the representative did not measure accurately. And apparently did not send anyone out to remeasure the windows, which is the protocol.

“3-day” blinds turned out to be really, really expensive, the guy who came to our house to do the estimate and first measurement vaped at our kitchen table I front of us while we were waiting for the calculations (without asking), and took over 3 MONTHS to be installed and finished because something (we never knew what) was out of stock (but our rep never told us there might be a delay). Overall the result was “fine” but I wouldn’t say I’m happy with the overall experience.

I spent $10,000 on automatic blinds. I love the convenience of the blinds despite the high cost. The blinds came with warranties, a year for mechanical parts and a longer warranty on materials etc. I called the company a year and 10 days after the installation of the blinds. One of the motors on the blinds stopped working. It would no longer take a charge - it wouldn’t go up and down. It took several days to get a call back about the issue. Then I was informed they would honor the year warranty as it had just passed, but there was a SERVICE FEE for the technician! Outrageous. What kind of warranty for repair is for a broken device if only their tech can fix it and the service charge isn’t covered. I won’t be recommending them to others.
