I got a letter in the mail from autopay, they offered to lower my car loan interest rate from 4.8% to 3.3% which was a pretty good deal. After talking to customer service and waiting for a while, they said that they could lower my monthly payment by extending the loan 2 more years, but also the interest rate wasn't 3.3% but 6.2% so 91% more expensive than what was offered in their letter or paying more in interest for no reason with a credit score of more than 730 with a payment history of 100%. If you get an offer from them DO THE MATH, don't let them fool you. If they increase your rate, it becomes more difficult to finish paying the loan, you pay more and you increase the chances for the bank to own your property, even if it's 1%. In my case they were looking for a good deal for the bank not for me! Just wasted my time.

Be ware they hide huge fees by rolling it into monthly payment. In Jan 2022, They approved $24,515 auto loan at rate of 4.14% for 36 months for monthly payment of $835...that over $30,000 in monthly payment of which $4000 was hidden fees! They agent played nice until I questioned the monthly fee and stopped responding to emails or calls and closed my file with a standard Auto Pay letter that says thanks for the opportunity!

I got a letter saying i was preapproved and would save $88 on my current loan. I called and asked questions. I was never told that they would have to find me a lender. I was never told I wasn't preapproved. 24 hours later they still don't have anyone who can finance me and they want me to give them more information. Very shady business Practice to send me a letter telling me I am preapproved and not to tell me otherwise when I called them and later emailed them with my questions and concerns. I am guessing many of the reviews on this site are just as fake as their preapproval letters.

Avoid this company. Do not bother with this bait-and-switch scheme. They promise much better interest rates and terms, but they do not deliver on their promises. This should be a Zero star review, at best. And, of course, they do not extend "specific invitations" for one-star or any other negative reviews, so please do not be misled by their overall review rating.

Seemingly easy process to refinance and yet seems like they went the extra mile to make it more confusing and difficult, hardly ever could get my loan specialist to answer text or return calls, would try to call, and he would text saying I was the next person to call and wouldn't hear from him for a few days, would tell me everything was good and loan was good, then few days later would send a text stating there was issues, would try to call to fix issues and couldn't get through, and he still wouldn't reply to text, or answer phone, do what you want but I would advise going elsewhere....a loan shark would give you better customer support

Before excepting them to run your credit, you should ask what the equity of your car is because yes, they will give you an approval, but with a large down payment on your vehicle and they don’t tell you this before they run your credit. This is really awful when you’re trying to build your credit. After asking why they didn’t tell me this. The guy told me, ma’am I just have to get back to work.

We started the refinance process on 1/7. The company merged and we fell through the cracks. We were approved two different times. We even made it as far as signing documents & having them notarized. We mailed everything back in February. This morning, 3/30, we received an email stating that Autopay couldn’t help us. This is bad business. This process was terrible. I would not refer anyone to use Autopay if they are trying to get a vehicle refinanced in timely fashion. Thank you for wasting our time and pulling credit, not once but twice!

Its just wildly misleading to advertise "Rates as low as 2.99%" and then hear "Oh yeah, we dont have a single lender we work with that goes anywhere close to that today" after applying. Why is that even on the website and advertised, if that isn't accurate?

I have a credit score over 800, nothing bad on my credit, never late on any payment. Thinking I might get a great rate from them, they called me after I filled out the application, then the guy skipped over numerous questions and then submitted my application. I was denied. Seriously? Then I called in and they told me that I needed to put some money down on my new car and I told them that wasn't an issue, I'd be happy to put at least 20-25% down, and the 2nd rep told me that the first rep put down that I wouldn't put any money down. He also told me that I'd probably get rates around 7 or 8%, I said no thanks. Then a 3rd person calls and tells me that I might get rates in the low 3s and I said, sure let's continue. I was told to wait 24-48 business hours for a call back, no one ever called me back. I got my local credit union to approve me in a few hours for a rate less than 4%. Autopay seems like a scam.
