This is the worst insurance ever. I was in an accident and decided to go through and pay a deductible. They never told me my claim got split into 2 And it's 500 each claim .. a 1000 total .. I found out then my car was ready to be picked up !!! the adjuster (Derek V) that was handling my claim was horrible . In a month I only spoke with him 2 times !!!! They say they will call you back but never DO !!! Even the supervisors are just as stupid as the people handling your claim. Save yourself from this scamming insurance people !!!!!

My experience with Geico has been terrible. I cancelled my homeowners and auto policy in September 2020 and still have not received my auto insurance refund. I have made 4 calls of approximately 40 minutes each. Promised each time the problem would be taken care of immediately. One call had a dog barking in the background for the entire time. I will never do business with this company again. Imagine if I had a claim how I would be treated. I am now currently with State Farm. What a world of difference . If I had the option of choosing zero stars I would.

We added my daughter to our insurance and when her car broke down we tried to take her off the policy. After being a customer for over 5 years and paying on time every month the only way to take her off the insurance was to make her move out and get a bill in her name somewhere else or get her insurance through another company even though she doesn’t have a car!! We have to drop the insurance and go somewhere else because there’s (no way to take her off our insurance). Thanks a lot!

If I could leave a -10 I would...I was rear ended..no brainer..... Finally the other drivers insurance co called me....said delay was due to geico not releasing my phone number...so like I say no brainer..her insurance co l...fully responsibility...full pay..their insured 100% at fault... geico sends ma and email to the effect...we will advance you the reimbursement on your collision because your anot at fault... really...this was two months ago..just called now..got the run-around..then oh yes sent reimbursement...good by lizard..slime

Affordable insurance, but you get what you pay for. I had a simple question about how much my yearly payment will change if I become a student, and instead, I was put on hold for 25 minutes, talked to two people who had no idea how to help me, and I just got a notification this morning that my insurance with Geico has been canceled. I have no idea what’s going on, and I’ve tried to call them again today, but I just got put on hold for another 25 minutes. I am definitely now going to uphold their canceled policy.

This is one of the worst Company’s out there...they are all good when you pay them for coverage...but when it comes to the claims...they don’t want to pay... They Contradict themselves...and say “Yes you are covered for injuries” Yes, go get yourself checked...then in the moment you go get checked out...to be sure you are ok...they say you aren’t covered...and they don’t want to pay!! I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU GO WITH A DIFFERENT AGENCY! They spend millions on advertisements...explains why they are broke and don’t want to pay claims...

After filling out a quote form and subsequently going with another company I have not been able to get them off my back. I receive emails everyday along with multiple daily phone calls even though I have declined the calls and unsubscribed many times from their many emails. If I had known then what I know now about this company I never would have requested a quote. Simply put, they are intrusive and overtly disrespectful of a person’s requests.

I removed those auto payments from my bank account. They still used some other ACH method to took the funds out of my account without consent. It’s stealing if you don’t your customers consent. I’m taking the issue to corporate and hopefully I can sue them for the inconvenience. This cause me to be short on my rent and I had pay overdraft fees to my bank. Zero stars if it were possible.

I had an accident in 2018 and I was not guilty. Geico changed the truth and damaged my insurance records, and now I have to pay high insurance costs. They included a car that was not part of the accident and there is the same accident twice the same date. They change reality due to their lack of organization and they harm people that is innocent. I can proof that with police records I have.

Geico is not what they say. Had them for nine years and this is our first claim. They want to put on a used junkyard condenser and radiator so we are having to pay out of pocket for the difference after I have explained to them that we have to go to Jacksonville often for a daughter who is having kidney failure and we can’t take the risk of being stuck on the road. Never cared geico Is not a good insurance company

The 15% "giveback" is such a scam! Geico raised my rate by $130 "because I live in NY", along with other NYers and then claims to give me a 15% discount? Who is Geico trying to fool? This an awful way to take advantage of people at such a vulnerable time, during a pandemic when NYers are on lock down and cars aren't being used. I'm really disappointed with Geico and have lost the trust. I've posted this in many places and everyone can agree....

I am a policyholder of over 10 years. After paying $430 for my previous 6 month premium, I was quoted $579 for my renewal! I was able to find a quote for $335 so thanks for nothing Geico! Terrible customer retention. Go find another sucker.

Geico is the WORST insurance provider EVER!!!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this company! They don’t care about their customers at all. I had to cancel my insurance policy alone due to the fact that the customer service agent was so rude and nonchalant when I mentioned not being able to pay due to the events of Covid-19. They don't send me road assistance until morning when I got stuck on the Big Bear mountain. I was with my 6 years old twins. We left with our own effort. We left our car on the road since we don't have any other options. My snowboards got stolen. I wrote a review on their website they did not publish it. I think that is the reason why they have high customer reviews because they don't publish if they don't like.

I was hung up on during my call and recieved an attitude from the representatives because they wanted to charge me $45 extra dollars because I didn't want to do auto pay on my account. Mind you this was not brought up during my sign up process. They waited a week to tell me this to try and get more money out of me. Do not use them if you value great customer service and your bamk account.

WORST COMPANY EVER. Can't ever figure anything out and do not care about their customers. I've had to call in 3 times in the last 4 weeks because they keep sending me letters threatening to cancel my policy for non payment when I've been on auto pay for a year. They have a new excuse for their poor customer service and on messups everytime I call. So dissatisfied. Not worth the low premiums. Don't waste your time with this joke of a company.

I recieved a email to call Geico about an issue to be resolved about my auto policy. So while dealing with issues related to the pandemic I took time to call. There was no issue. They wanted to discuss my policy, bundling it with homeowners etc. It was a marketing ploy. When I have time I will find another carrier that doesn't use deceitful practices just because they have my email.

They increased my premium for no reason. I drive very few miles (about 500mi) per year. And yet I pay $163 every month. I have never gotten into any accident yet they increased my premium by $40 per month just because I got one ticket. I am not driving my car these days and will not be driving for the coming 5 months because of covid -19. My work is now online and I am staying home at all times except I go to the grocery store once in two weeks. I told them all this and yet my insurance premium is very frustrating. They are very unfair and inconsiderate.

Do not switch to Geico. Especially if you are not a native English speaker they are allowed to go against the police report and choose the driver they like best. Even if the other drivers got a citation and admitted they pulled out in front of him because they thought he would stop. I was a customer for years and now I'm out a car because my husband is Egyptian and couldn't understand what she was asking.I will never use Geico again. Terrible experience. Do not use them

I’ve been a customer for over 5 plus years. The service that I am receiving from my geico representative, is not that of deserving of a valued customer. The request that I’ve been asking him to do, is not being done in a timely fashion and not at all. I am highly disappointed in the service I’ve been receiving. I am not at fault for the accident and he says he’s going to fight for my over $500 deductible, but he seems as though he doesn’t care. I was with Geico for over 15 years. Each year my premiums went up despite NEVER having filed a claim, NEVER having an accident, NEVER receiving a ticket. Geico would always say that my rates were going up due to the cost of business going up. What was interesting is that as I looked up other insurance rates, I was able to find other lower, comparable insurance plans/rates. When I left Geico, they offered to lower my rates to match competitors, but at that point I was upset that Geico had been continuously raising my rates and I left them anyways.

Do not ever insure with company, I was misquoted on a policy after I paid the insurance and when I canceled ,my insurance they still tried to charge me. I spoke with a supervisor and requested the recorded calls, they didn't have it. It's funny how they don't record those calls. They only record calls when they insure you to make sure you say yes and when you pay.

As a repair facility owner, Geico is the WORST company I have dealt with ever(25 years). They direct YOUR car to be repaired with the absolute cheapest, inferior parts that can be located. Terrible experience with Geico. I went to the office and made a quote for my car insurance 127$/Per Month and signed a contract, the next day Geico mailed me telling that I have to pay 256$/Per Month, for some reasons - for exactly same reasons already discussed at the office. Of course, I cancelled the deal with Geico! Now even worth, after waiting more than 2 Weeks for my refund check, today I called Geico and was told that they forgot to send it and likely I have to wait more for around 5-7 business days for my refund! Very Irresponsible!

I will start off by saying they are a absolute garbage company. Their advertisements are a scam for what you actually get you get in one wreck and your insurance jumps $100 or more. My car is only worth 3,500 at most and they are charging $230+ for liability insurance. This company is a joke and needs to be blasted for it. You don't even have the back bone to fight a case! I am now out of pocket a car and $2700 a year almost the value of my car a year.

I put a claim in for damage from a hail storm .they told me my windsheild was not busted do to hail and i would have to file another claim. Then the wind from hail storm busted part of my fence and it scratched my car. They wanted another separate claim for that.and my tail light was busted guess what they wanted another separate claim for that.this was by far the worst experience i have ever had with an insurance company think twice before you choose gieco

I was a customer for over 18 years. They wanted to use a after market finder on my wife car. The auto shop told me it wouldn't fit with out leaving a gap .The original finder was $75 dollars more than the after market one.But they was paying $ 78 dollars to have it shipped from Atlanta. The original finder was 30 miles away in Nashville tn. Could have been delivered for free. So GEICO lost a loyal customer for $ 3 dollars if u break it down. I was with GEICO for 18 years. No loyalty at all to their customers. So I went to progressive.

I was in an accident with a GEICO customer, and they have been nothing but unwilling to help. It has been like pulling teeth getting them to cover all the expenses on the repairs and the rental car. I will never give my money to GEICO. Call after call made to the adjusters, the state claims supervisor, and nothing but voicemails. When I would get a call from someone in customer service, they know nothing of auto claims. Worst experience with an insurance company ever.

Geico has lost my business ! After my vehicle was damaged in December of 2018 I decided not to file a claim on my I insurance, choosing rather to use my income tax refund to pay for the repairs. After my income tax was filed and I received a quote, I was not going to be able to cover the cost. So at that time I decided to turn it in on my insurance. Geico refused to pay my claim because I did not file immediately ! Geico has lost my business !
