Geico does NOT even deserve 1 star!! I got a new car on May 11. The dealership sent over my information on my new car to Geico to let them know I’m not longer in my cooper and to switch my stuff to my new car (ford). (I also called about it and it was never switched) I went 2 months paying for what I thought was on my ford but really it was on my Mini Cooper!!! My car payment has now went up 100$ because they are stating I didn’t have insurance for those to months which I did! I want a refund for those 2 months I paid for which were suppose to be for my new car! I do not have insurance with y’all now because y’all screwed me over.

I am a 55 year old female. My car radiator hose came loose 3 5 Miles from the nearest highway exit. I've had gieco insurance and roadside for 18 years. I was towing a camper, therefore could not have my vehicle towed. I managed to get the radiator hose reinstalled. However, needed water to refill to get to the next exit. Imagine my absolute fury in the 92 degree heat to learn that, I can get 5 gallons of fuel brought out to me, a tire changed, a tow, a jump, but geico was more than willing to leave my me on the side of the road in the mountains because they won't bring a drop of water. After I speak with someone, I will cancel and would rather pay more than be stranded over water. I'm shocked that they left me there with no help.

In April, Geico had a client who I was in an accident with. It was in a parking lot and I was already well out of my spot when she started backing up. Here we are in July, and I haven’t heard a thing from anybody. The adjuster came and told me it would be a $2,500 fix and that was the last I heard from them. I’ve sent a few emails and even called up there to speak to the guy in the case and they said he had stepped out of office and he would call me back. Still nothing. I feel like I’ve had such bad customer service in this whole thing. The adjusted that came to our home was great. But he doesn’t have anything to do with case after giving me my estimate. I called him as well and he told me I should have heard from them by now when I called him two weeks after he came to our home.

I was involved in an accident and Geico, being the other drivers company, sends me a letter for me to call them and give them my recorded statement. As soon as I open the letter I go ahead and try my best to cooperate and make this process go by as quickly and easily as possible. Because I am a minor they need permission from my father to speak to me, they get that right away, as we were willing to cooperate. I call back on multiple occasions to see what the hold up is and why they have yet to take my recorded statement. I'm told that the recording machine of the person handling this claim is broken, that it should be fixed within a week and I will be given a call back. Three weeks go by from that phone call and I finally hear back from the representative that she can now take my recorded statement almost 2 months after the accident happened, nonetheless I try to recall all the details and give her, to the best of my knowledge, the story. After the recording is finished I simply ask why they waited almost 2 months to ask me for the story and I get gross attitude from someone who should be talking to me professionally, she tells me, and I quote, "First we needed your father's permission because you are a minor and like I told you my recorder was broken, I shouldn't even have to be explaining this to you, but I will" What kind of professionalism is this? It's unbelievable to me that a company that's so well known has such rude, disrespectful employees. I simply asked her a logical question the attitude was completely uncalled for and unnecessary. I highly suggest that Geico checks on their employees because the way she spoke to me, someone trying to cooperate, where I have absolutely no legal obligation to do so, is completely inappropriate. Due to being treated so poorly I refuse to answer anymore questions this company has and will make sure everyone know just how disrespectful their employees have been.

Let me start off by saying I have been a loyal customer for 5 years and have never had an issue with gieco before today... I had unenrolled in auto pay through a geico representative as well as through auto pay! I had set up my payments through the app, so I was scheduled to pay 350$ on July 31st, but unbeknownst to me they took money out of my acct on the 16th without my authorization, so now my acct is negative and I have 33$ fee.. I am on a budget like most people and my bills are always taken out on certain days and I make sure the money is there! When I called geico and spoke to a rep, she told me there was nothing she can do because that payment was authorized by me, which it absolutely was not! My payment was scheduled for the 31st not the 16th! It makes me uneasy to know that gieco will just take money out of my acct without me knowing! I will definitely post my experience on face book and any other social media platform! I will spread the word! Will be taking my business to another ins company

While Geico insurance messes around and refuses to pay for my vehicle that was stole my home owners insurance travels insurance came Through and helped me out with rental car etc they can’t pay for the truck but they made me feel a little better about life. Why a company I have paid for for close to ten years won’t help me while I’m hurting but a insurance company steps up and helps me after six months is beyond me. But I learned Geico is trash absolute slime and travelers insurance is absolutely the way to go as inexpensive as Geico and have far better values. I give Geico a F- and have no intentions of keeping them after this. Nobody needs to pay for Geico when their are other companies cheaper with better internal policies that allow there adjusters to do the right thing

On April 3, 2019, my car was hit in a parking lot. I witnessed the collision. I took pictures of the car, license plate and her insurance card. I called Geico. I was told there was nothing geico would do. I could get it fixed and submit the bill to Geico. I would have to pay the deductible of $1,000. I’m very disappointed. A few weeks later, my car was hit again by a hit and run driver. I called geico. They told me to meet and adjuster at a certain location which happened to be a body shop. I thought this would be fine-wrong again. I followed gps to the collision center. I went inside and the receptionist told me the geico rep was set up in a vacant parking lot across the street. He was actually conducting business from the trunk of his car. He assessed the damage and cut me a check from his car office. The check was for $1200. He assessed the damage to be $2200 minus the $1000 deductible. Two days later, I took my car to a body shop. They assessed the damage to be $4,600. So, geico screwed me for $2,000. Actually, the assessor told me that if the check didn’t cover the damage, call them. Well, I called, told them, they backed away, I complained and got nowhere. The whole shady process by the geico rep reeks with similarities of a seedy illicit contraband deal from the trunk of his car. This was my first ever collision claim with geico. I don’t know if this is an isolated event however, please be aware that this happened to me. I filed a complaint by phone and on the geico site. To date, I’ve heard nothing. Worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed. Shame on you and your gecko.

Honestly this is great insurance if you don’t have any accidents or claims. We have had nothing but trouble, and the claims people don’t ever answer their phone. Here it is a month after my claim and they still have yet to get my vehicle, pay for the total loss, and process our claim fully. We are looking at waiting another month before it gets processed. I have never had so much trouble with a claim before. It’s ridiculous how long it takes Geico to process a claim. They will not being fully processing our claim for another month, which makes this process a two month process... you can see why we are frustrated. Waiting two months before a claim is finished, not to mention we are out a vehicle for two months due to them not paying us for the total loss. Highly recommend using someone else for insurance.

I have been a Geico customer for 12 years. Every year the premium has increased. I contacted Geico about this matter and was told I was already receiving an discounted premium and they could not explain why the price kept going up. I decided to look around and found a different insurance company that offered the same coverage for less. I looked up how to cancel Geico and on their website found to call and “talk to a friendly representative” to cancel service. I proceeded to call and explain that I would like to cancel service. The representative was rude and unprofessional. He began to lecture me trying to persuade me to stay. He even said that he was “surprised a customer of 12 years would leave over $$ amount.” I understand that Geico does not like loosing a customer, however that does not give Geico the right to lecture a customer. The customer is in charge and should have the right to easily terminate coverage. In the end, the employee told me my coverage had been canceled and no refund would be applied, aft which he hung up on the phone. I am disappointed in Geico after this experience and would not recommend them for auto insurance. Better auto insurance options available elsewhere with better customer service.

Been with Geico for 15 plus years. Had two accidents this year totaled both vehicles. Only claim I ever had. Gave me a rental per my coverage. Did not pay enterprise on time. They billed me 2800 so far. When they did call they payed them up and told me I had to return vehicle and fight for my money back. As if I was not struggling nuff. Then at this point I have no car to go to work and left me hi and dry. Now with no job no money to replace vehicle and no answers I lost my truck, my job and cleaned out my bank 3 times. Geico is not on your side and will leave you without in a second. Horrible life experience. I’ll pay any amount not to go through this. 2 months no answered. Greatest way to end a relationship

I had full coverage insurance with Geico on 3 of my vehicles for 7 months. Everything went well until it was time to reinstate my policy. They indicated that the excluded driver on my policy needed to get their license before reinstating my policy without reason. I gave them no issues during that 7 months. I only added an excluded driver for a discount because they insisted in the first place. My policy was canceled 04/29/2019 unable to force someone who isn’t in my household to get their license. All they did was take my money and when I tried to get insurance elsewhere no one would insure me due to a 2 week lapse in insurance. Exactly 30 days later 05/29/19 I was in a tornado that damaged my vehicle. Thanks a lot Geico for taking my money but not having my back in the end. I’m forced to pay repairs out of pocket for an excluded driver that could’ve stayed excluded come time for reinstatement. They pulled a fast one, but never again will I place my assets in the hands of a company like this who only cares about themselves.

Don't Let These Monster Fool You with Cute Commercials!!! GEICO likes to draw customers in with their claims of great rates and their cute commercials. But hidden behind the decent rates and the adorable commercials is a monster! Not only is GEICO a bait-and-switch company that raises rates the first chance they get but they also will do everything that they can to avoid paying to fix your car! I am 52 years old and never had an accident as an adult on my own policy. In fact my wife and all 4 of my kids have gone accident free until my daughter had an accident recently that was her fault. When my daughter turned 16 I splurged and bought her a 2016 Jeep Patriot with very low miles. It was a R-Title having been in a front end collision. R-title vehicles go through strict state inspections before they get plates on them in the state of PA. In addition GEICO had no problem providing full coverage for the vehicle. But after a mail truck tore across the front of the Jeep GEICO paid about $11 after my $1,000 deductible and refused to fix the most expensive damage that occurred in the accident! The con-artists at GEICO will send their nasty insurance adjusters to the dealership to intimidate them making sure they spend as little as possible! An electrical problem developed in a harness as a result of being pulled on in the accident. After almost 2 years of no problems with the car the electrical problem started literally the morning after the accident when my daughter first tried to use the car. We had to have it towed to the dealership. At first they misdiagnosed the problem stating that the issue was due to corrosion on terminals in the box the harness was attached to. They claimed it had nothing to do with the accident. I did not feel it was possible that any corrosion just magically got bad enough at that exact time to cause this but they refused to do anything else. So for months we dealt with this intermittent problem with the vehicle that left my children stranded in various locations unable to even start the car. It then got so bad one day that I decided to check the "corroded terminals" again. I opened the hood and it took all of 10 minutes for me to figure out the problem had absolutely nothing at all to do with corroded terminals but that the wire harness had an intermittent problem that could easily be reproduced just by moving it around! So I called the insurance adjuster and after much argument he finally agreed to have it looked at again. So I took the vehicle to a different dealership this time. After looking at the problem they called me and in discussing the problem told me that the issue had to have happened in the accident my daughter had. Well then the next day the GEICO insurance adjuster shows up and then calls me and states that the harness was routed over a sharp edge and therefore the problem was normal wear and tear!!! Are you kidding me??? According to them this harness under the hood which never moves and has a heavy-gauge net and multiple layers of tape was worn and damaged from a sharp edge. And they decided all this even though the dealership never pin-pointed the location of the damage since there was no damage to the outside of the harness! And after the visit from the GEICO this dealership would not return my calls. More intimidation! I have run this problem up the chain through many levels at GEICO only in the end to be sent a register mail stating that they will never cover the repair. What a joke this company is! What am I paying for if they cannot even cover a repair that obviously happened in an accident for a customer with a previously family-wide perfect driving record?!!? I would urge all to consider other companies for your insurance needs. This place is a leftover government institution that has the money and power to avoid paying claims. Just research some of their history.

I thought that Geico Auto Insurance was one of the best rate and customer'service ,but from my experienced Geico is the worst Auto and Home insurance ever in my life ,1st of all their customer'service are really rude and have very little knowledge about the Auto and Home insurance ,because they give the rate after they ran a background check on my Driver'license record ,then after few days I found out that they changed the rate ..not the rate they did promise me after I made the decision and after I did base my budget's payment on that insurance figures they gave me ,beside they gave wrong and mislead information about what I exactly have in my driving record, what a Honorable Insurance company. After I have had bad experience with Geico I went to Progressive Insurance company what a huge difference the insurance rate and customer service , in few words Geico is a nightmare and with poor customer service with fake Insurance rate, you better watch out ,because before you know it the rate will be changed for worse .

Absolutely terrible! My car was stolen and when it was recovered, it had damaged. Geico sent an adjuster out that came to assess the car. Before he left I asked him if it was okay to drive the car because l needed to get to work. He informed me that I can drive the car, so I did. While driving the car I felt that it wasn’t driving the way it usually does so when I got home from work, I just parked it. The next day I needed to go to the hospital to get a pain in my stomach examined, due to the fact that I’m 7 months pregnant. I got my three year old and headed around the corner to pick up my Fiancé so he can drive me to the hospital. On the way to the hospital the lower control on the vehicle snaps and causes us to lose control of the car and crash into a light pole. Called Geico and explained what happened. Everything was okay until I started to vocalize that I feel the accident would have been avoided if I wasn’t told the car was drivable. Before I was told the car was drivable, it was parked. Now after all of this is said and done Geico wants me to come up with two deductibles and I do not think it’s right. The second incident would have never occurred if the first adjuster did not tell me I could drive the car. I have been calling Geico for about a week and a half about the situation and still haven’t gotten a response. When I call anyone I speak to tells me they need to speak to their supervisor and give me a call back. I took it upon myself to call the supervisor and he never was made aware of the situation. Now after speaking to the supervisor, I am still waiting for a response.

DO NOT USE GEICO !!!!!!!! This company has no morals and will not honor an honest claim. I was hit by one of their customers. He did a U turn in front of me running a stop sign to do it, hitting me for an $8300 repair--my car value was approx $6000. Their driver got out of his car apologizing and saying it was his fault, he said this repeatedly and also to the cop. Also, there was a witness in a house right across the street who said it was his fault. In spite of the fact it was not my fault Geico denied my claim saying that they were siding with their customer in spite of his own words. They knew it would be impractical for me to hire a lawyer to get a $6000 claim so they took advantage of that. DO NOT EXPECT THIS COMPANY TO RELATE TO YOU WITH HONESTY!!!!!!

My experience with Geico has been nothing but a fiasco. Claim filed 01/06/19, it is now 04/12/19 with no claim settlement in sight. I filed a complaint with my state insurance commissioner which led nowhere except to have a charming conversation with a claims adjuster manager "Dale" that reiterated his corporation's stance and began strongarm tactics to get me to close my claim out or risk having it cancelled due to "lack of interest". The vehicle was undervalued and the parts and labor for the few months prior were compensated at less than 10% of the original cost. $3000 of repairs were compensated at a pittance with less than 5k miles and 3 months between the accident and the work being completed for a replacement timing chain, clutch, water pump, and oil pump. These are not cosmetic or minor function parts... These are critical wear items whose replacement allowed my vehicle to be roadworthy for the foreseeable future. Doesn't matter to Geico! They have an "algorithm", dontchaknow?! I never expected to receive 100% of my parts and labor, but I did expect to receive just compensation for a critical transportation loss. We aren't even close! Between the undervaluing of my vehicle and the outright theft of virtually brand new parts, a fair estimate is that I'm in the hole about $2,000. Buyer beware! Their insurance seems great until you get to the nitty gritty of trying to extract your hard earned dollars from your lost transportation investment. Go somewhere... ANYWHERE... else for insurance! You will not regret that decision!

Worst customer service ever. As I was involved in a accident. I never shared my story with my insurance company due to the fact that I work in the mornings. When I spoke to the agent she said she was only available from 8:00am-4:30pm . I can not call between these hours so I made a written statement she calls does not call for pictures or mentions my written statement. All she says is you took to long to communicate with us and we will pay for her damages. This insurance company seems to only care if your available the hours the are. I will never do business with Geico and no one should have an insurance that is no help to the public.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with insurance in over 40 years of being insured. My daughter was involved in a hit and run accident and was unable to get the license plate so because we only carried liability on that car we were screwed. I was involved in a no fault accident and because there were no witnesses, the guilty party said I hit him! There is footage at the gas station which shows the car backing up but Geico will not obtain the footage and the service station will only release it to them! I’m screwed again! Then my policy goes up $600! F them! I cancelled and found MORE coverage for less

I am an existing Geico customer. Have had excellent service until today when I wanted to "inquire" whether adding Comprehensive would cover a voluntary windshield replacement due to 28 years of wear and tear on it. They transferred me to a Glass Specialist who took down info on my request which caused a pre-existing condition that would not be covered by adding Comprehensive now! I received an email saying my "Claim" was denied for a windshield replacement due to Comprehensive not on my policy when I never asked to file a "Claim"!!! Instead of $0 deductible for $36/year for a new windshield, I now have to pay $380 out-of-pocket for a new windshield! I would never recommend Geico! I will be looking for a new insurance company!

Worst customer service i have EVER recieved. One star is a very generous rating for this company. My policy was cancelled with no warning. When i tried to contact customer service they told me i had to speak to the agent working with my case... funny thing, my agent was never available to speak to me. Left a voicemail and never recieved a call back. All of their paperwork must be signed and mailed to them which to me is very inconvenient considering the fact that we are in 2019 and my previous insurance did everything via e-mail or even FAX. The staff were very rude especially Timothy U. Who was the supposed agent working with my policy I wouldn’t know because he never called me back. WORST SERVICE EVER I HOPE HE GETS FIRED. He is unqualified for his position. He should be working at Wal-Mart with that type of customer service. If you’re thinking about getting Geico, DONT.

I’ve had the worst experience with GEICO, wouldn’t recommend at all. I had progressive for about 9 years should have never left to save a few bucks. These people literally cancelled my insurance because i was trying to add my bother and sister to my insurance since they came for a few months from South America. Turns out i do this and they disabled my account, i called in to see what had happened and they just said that something was added wrong in the account that caused it altogether to cancel the whole policy for EVERYONE in the household... how is that even possible or legal? You’re canceling the already existing policy due to a new quote request? You’ve lost a customer that was going to have at least three cars in the policy with 5 drivers. Never again, nor do i recommend this company.

We were Geico customers for many years. We liked their customer service and coverage options. They were easy to work with and payment was always easy as well. My only complaint is that we had clean driving records (no tickets or accidents for years) and when I was in an accident that was not my fault, they raised our monthly payments by a lot. We ultimately cancelled our coverage and have been with that company for nearly 10 years now.

Geico is alright until you have to file a claim. My mother recently got into a car accident while driving down a main road and being cut off by a guy coming off of a side road with a stop sign. When she called to report the accident, the lady on the phone started arguing and blaming my mother, saying that it was her fault even after my mother explained exactly what happened. Long story short, the lady finally gave in and said that she'd put my mom as undecided but we later found out the she still put her as at fault. You would think that your insurance company would try to defend you - not geico! Very poor customer service and could never get the same representative twice to discuss the claim. They dont care about their customers, only about money. Would not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Where do I begin…. I have been a good and loyal customer to Geico for the last 6 years. I had my first ever car accident, about 2 months ago. The accident was not my fault, yet it was like pulling teeth to get any assistance from Geico. Upon meeting with the adjuster I was given incorrect information, which I did not know at that time and when it came down to it, Geico was reluctant to back me up or support me at all during this entire situation. Costumer service was sub-par, if that. I had a new costumer service agent every time I tried to call Geico to discuss my claim. The fact that they have more than one representative to work with me on my claim is ridiculous. I never talked to the same representative twice and it was so hard to get a hold of anybody. I always had to leave voicemails and it would be days for me to hear back. I honestly had a much better experience talking with the other driver’s insurance (Farmer’s), instead of my own. Farmer’s insurance assigned me with ONE specific representative who was incredibly helpful and was easily available. If I had known that Geico’s costumer service was like this, I would have never joined 6 years ago.

I have been with Geico for 13 years. They have done nothing but raise my rates even though my driving record was perfect. Had one minor fender bender that even the cops didn’t deem an accident and left the scene. We exchanged insurance info. Geico raised my rates from $220 to $300 a month!!! They offered me zero forgiveness after 13 years!! I finally said it’s time to move on. Even after buying my new car my insurance went up double then some... progressive quoted me for $100 less a month and started me with forgiveness and tons of discounts. Geico is nothing but a flat out scam and rip off.

I’m only giving 1 star because it makes me select one. Let me start by saying that my vehicle was hit right after I bought the car from the dealership, the 4th day to be exact. And I took the car to the shop as Gieco instructed me to do and the adjuster called me the next morning and told me how it was going to be etc., and that I was under investigation with them because the car wasn’t in my name yet and they thought I had stolen the vehicle and that I was trying to run a scam. Well I’m guessing that it wouldn’t be since I had only had it for 4 days but maybe that’s just my common sense? So while he was still there with my car I told him you can look in the passenger seat I left an envelope there with the bill of sale and all the paperwork that’d he’d need to prove that wasn’t the case. It also had the address, phone number and all of the information to the dealership I bought the car from. He just said someone would be in contact with me in a few days from the fraud department and no repairs would be started on my vehicle until she questioned me etc., needless to say that was 3 weeks ago and I’ve made SEVERAL phone calls and left SEVERAL voicemails to not only Roshanda in the fraud department but requesting that a supervisor or manager call me and I’ve yet to have heard from Anyone at all! My dealership has made SEVERAL attempts at contacting Roshanda as well as requesting a return call with still no call from anyone. After being called a thief by a company who’s in business because CUSTOMERS buy insurance from them so you’d think that they’d want to treat customers better...but no! Today I finally received a call back from someone who said she was the supervisor for Roshanda and said she was sorry and she’d discuss it with her? I run a hotel so I understand how customer service is everything and I’ll say PASS on this company right here because they’ll take your money monthly but if you need them they WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE THERE TO HELP IN ANY WAY!!

I have been a loyal Geico customer for many years. Sadly, my claim has been handled very poorly. In mid-July, my car was crashed into by a Geico commercial insurance customer. He was talking on his cell phone, ran a red light and crossed 3 lanes of traffic. I had a witness and a police report turned in within 3 days. Geico couldn't seem to figure out to talk with Geico commercial dept., who treated me terribly... dragging out process, telling me to deal with rental car on my own, etc. Now, after finally tracking down the correct supervisor, I continue to wait for a call back on my case. A call he said he would "try to make on Friday, but definitely by Monday". Well... it's Tuesday. Indicative of how the whole claim has been handled.

Geico is unprofessional and give the run around. My car was damaged during Hurricane Michael and I went to get an estimate, however the adjuster seems to think that some of the paint chipping was already present for 2 years plus. (Bull) I had the car 1 year and it was in perfect shape. He ordered a second opinion and started that someone will reach out to me however I have been calling them for 20 days now and have yet to reach anyone. I have call the Claims line and they stated they have sent several emails and still no answer. They continue to tell me to reach out to the adjuster after I continue to tell them that nobody is answering the phone or returning my voicemails. I am frustrated and fed up with them at this point. I live in Florida and the adjuster resides in Ohio and left a mess.

We live in rural Oregon so their preferred Adjuster/Inspector was a 45 minute drive away. My husband took time off work to drive there only to arrive at his SCHEDULED appointment and be told that the Adjuster does not work there anymore. The body shop told him he was the 7th person that had come in that week! So we got on the phone with Geico and they got in touch with another Adjuster about 15 minutes away. He drove over and had the truck looked at and the man was "unable" to issue a repair check due to the claim being assigned to the other company that no longer worked in auto claims. He assured us a check would be mailed. He said once we get the check to cash it and have the truck fixed. A week later we get the check and deposit it in the bank on a Thursday, it goes "pending" and clears on a Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and the truck is at an auto-body shop currently. I got a call from my bank that Geico put a "stop payment" on their check. The Adjuster DID NOT call me at any point about the stop payment or any issues. My personal account in now overdrawn in the thousands and my husband is at a repair shop 3 HOURS AWAY getting the truck fixed with ZERO money and an OVERDRAWN bank account. I have been on the phone for going on 2 hours with no resolution. So now we have paid $3800 cash to get the truck fixed and our bank is overdrawn by $3156....leaving us at a grand total of $6956 out of packet when it should have been our $500 deductible!!!! They are offering to send a $2600 check through the mail...this is NOT a way to run a business! This is fraud and outrageous!

Initially, I received a quote online. When I called to talk to a representative on 9/29, they were very helpful in answering all of my questions regarding coverage, discounts, payments, etc. The quote from the phone call was higher than the online quote, due to my accident from Jan. 2018. They were aware of this incident on the phone. I was understanding of the premium increase based on my driving record. I received the Geico binder in the mail and the documentation was accurate per our phone coversation. The packet included a letter from the underwriting department stating that my premium was adjusted due to the accident (still the same price as discussed on the phone). Then, about 2 weeks later, I received another letter from Geico. This letter documents new monthly payments for the next 5 months due to a "policy change." Today, I called Geico and asked about the new monthly price. I was informed that the original premium was changed after they ran the motor vehicle report, which showed my accident and that 2 points were assigned to it. I was upset that this possible increase was never discussed with me in the first place. Their only answer is that the phone representative probably didn't know about it.

I had an auto policy covering 3 vehicles. My daughter had an issue with DMV where they threatened to cancel her driving license if she did not pay the fine. She paid the fine and received a letter from DMV stating the issue was resolved. This was approximately 2 months prior. Geico stated they sent a letter to my address stating if they did not receive information in 10 days they would cancel the policy. Well this notice, if we received it, must have been filed with all of the other junk mail we receive. In any case the date passed and Geico cancelled not only my daughter's insurance, but all policies for our three vehicles, without any additional notifications(which they confirmed on the phone). I was without insurance for 11 days before I received a letter from the DMV. The DMV in SC charges a $5 per day for each vehicle without insurance from the date of non-insurance (totaling $165). I requested a letter from Geico stating the fact that I only received a single notification before policy was cancelled, and they did not send any further notification that my policy was cancelled, so I can use this convince the DMV that I should not be charged the penalty. This is the worst policy I have ever heard!!!! Even if they sent me a letter stating they were going to cancel my insurance, they should have notified me when they actually cancelled the policy. This should be the Law!!! It took three calls and more than an one hr of my time before I could get a manager. Geico's customer service rep and manager refused to send a letter or email stating the facts. In addition, after renewing my policy(so I would have coverage over the weekend) geico stated my policy rate was going up $50/mo total of $300/per 6 mo policy. The Geico rep and manager refused to give me my prior rate. Needless to say I am cancelling all of my policies, and will never use Geico again for any purpose. My family was without insurance for 11 days, had anyone been in an accident we could have lost everything!!! Geico Sucks

Good for what it is. Those who are low income or just starting out. It services that community very well. Once we became homeowners we changed companies, but as a young married couple it worked well.

Geico has good insurance rates. If I've ever needed assistance, they are very helpful, and my monthly rates goes down the longer I have their coverage and I'm accident free!

Geico is very prompt. My accident was 12/21/2017 and by 01/08/2018 they had already paid off the impound yard, the finance company and gave me a check for the difference,

Geico has very competitive prices and they are really kind to us. We checked around a lot to other car insurance companies, but no one measures up to the prices Geico offers.

Geico gave me comparable coverage to my family's auto insurance plan, while giving us a better deal! We are able to save hundreds of dollars a year for full coverage on multiple cars.

I was involved in minor accident with a GEICO customer. GEICO handled the claim and paid for damages very quickly. Customer service was also very friendly and helpful with the process.

Although the insurance company can be quite exspensive I love that I know I’m covered in almost any incidence. My car is pretty reliable but in the case that someone else may be in the wrong I got the perfect coverage for that

We had a great experience with Geico for many years. They gave us a good rate for quite a while. Eventually though they did raise it and we had to switch to another company. They made it really inconvenient and difficult to cancel our policy. Which motivated me even more to leave. Overall I think they are a decent company but they didn't care enough about keeping us as customers to address the rate spike that we weren't comfortable with, so they lost us. We found better rates elsewhere for the time being.

I like Geico it's cheap and you can schedule your own payments and they send friendly reminders when it's due I like the fact that it's automatically withdrawn if that's what you choose

Overall, GEICO has been a great insurance. I've had them for the past three years. I've had only once accident and they did not increase my monthly rate. I will continue to use GEICO for their amazing insurance.

GEICO is very much on the pricey side of insurance and since I am financing my car I have to pay for full coverage which sucks. However, they do offer “discounts” to lessen the price for students and younger drivers like me.
