Geico is great at being an affordable, no frills insurance provider. I have used them twice at different times. Both times I have felt protected while not being priced gouged. I have never been in an accident with Geico, so I am not sure how that works, but for my day to day needs, they did a good job.

We have Geico. For the most part they have been good. However, recently I had to make a change and the app said I had to call in so I did. The automated system kept saying it didn't understand me but eventually it said I could make the changes in the app and a special link was sent to me. I used the link and it eventually said I still had to call in to make the changes. So by the third call I was able to make the changes to my insurance. I was also told my new payment would be a certain amount but when they emailed me the updated info my payment next month is an additional $110 dollars and going forward from there my monthly payment is $47 dollars more a month then what I was told over the phone.

Dropped it off at the repair shop where they had a rental company at the location to set us up and within 20-25 mins we were out and on our way. This was all with because of the partnerships Geico had formed.

Its funny to say but those 15 minutes saved me a lot more than 15%. Im so happy that I switched to Geico. Not only are their prices great but the product they offer is amazing. After an accident I was worried about the hoops I would have to jump through to process my claim. It was far from a problem, fast and easy.

I used to be a Geico customer for several years. Never had issues , and the only claims I filed was related to rock chip repairs on my windshield. I never been in an accident, so I cannot comment on how it would have been their service for that.. Customer service was always great to answer any questions I had.. Unfortunately, last year I compared their price with Liberty mutual and they were not able to beat it and they lost my business for my cars and motorcycle

I have been with Geico since 2005. Customer Service has always been quick and helpful. I was stuck on the freeway with a blown out tire during morning rush hour and it took them 25 minutes to get to me. I was at the tire shop with my car 10 minutes later. Made a stressful situation much easier than I thought it would be.

This is for Brian H. he’s an adjuster there at Geico. I am having the most horrible service/treatment I have ever encountered from this company. I have a claim open with this company which is 0615552670000002 David H. said it’s a total loss. So I said no matter what happens I want to keep the vehicle. They ended up picking up the vehicle and took it to the adjusters yard. Now it’s been looked at and brought back to me. I took pictures of the vehicle before it left and pictures of it when I got it back. I also have pictures of the vehicle from the tow truck driver before he brought it back to me. He took them so he wasn’t to blame. Well I have those pictures as well. Anyways there is close to $4,000.00 dollars of damage that was done from the adjuster or whoever looked and evaluated the vehicle. I would like something done about this. I would also like to talk to someone that is going to take care of this.

Trash! Get you at first with an cheaper quote, then after the 6 months it went up a little bit more, then I had my first claim. they were trying to scam me with enterprise, (saying I put a tiny dent in the door with no accidents or anything reported). I told my Geico agent I get enterprise was scamming me, he said he had my back, that was a lie. He didn’t even reach out to me, I had to reach out to him for their conclusion to the claim, and he emailed me just saying I owed enterprise, no explanation. Then, after confronting him about this he said he would continue to look into this, stringing me along for 2 weeks when he wasn’t/ apparently couldn’t do anything. Trash company, trash excuses, trash customer service.

If your looking to be bent over after getting car insurance and home insurance... Stay with Geico. Geico said bundle your home and save!! I did. Low and behold they changed terms on homeowners insurance.They added some nonsense wind clause damage that I never had. They use UPC. We had a wind storm on long island last Nov 2020 and Geico said I had a deductible on dwelling of 5%. That means I had to pay 20k first. On wind. Old policy had 1k nothing else. Do your homework and read all those papers they send you. My fault I didn't!!! They save you $100 but find places to take it out. Horrible (Suffolk County Long Island)

i had gekko insurance for several years and service was ok until something happened. i called to add a vehicle that i barely drive to work due to covid19 and was asked how many miles i drive per month. i said i dont drive the car as much because we just started returning to work and one week i drive my car, next week my friend picks me up. so the agent put down that i rideshare with uber. LOL. so, a few weeks later i received a letter saying i need to call gekko and correct my policy, because riding for uber/lyft requires commercial policy. when i called them i explained that an employee had made mistake and input wrong information and they need to fix it. to which i was told to call uber/lyft and get a letter stating i dont drive nor work for them and send that letter to gekko. seriously? they are so hard headed robotts!!! so, becuase its their mess up and they dont want to do any changes without proof from uber/lyft i had to cancel my policy with gekko and move on.. so much for being gekko's loyal customer-one incompitent employee makes mistake and an underwriter locks it in and just like robott doesnt know which button to push to remove this issue. they care less about one customer. after all its just a drop of water in the ocean. does anyone else has an issue with gekko and their i "have the power" attitude?

A geico customer, kelly b., of Pacific MO, drove drunk through my yard and rv parked in my driveway with me inside the rv on oct 4th of 2020. I am still awaiting a settlement mid way through march.. filed a claim with my homeowners insurance (Amica) approximately 3 weeks ago for the contents of the rv as geico did not provide adequate coverage to cover my loss.. Amica had a check in my hand in less than 48 hours after filing claim despite the fact that i filed that claim more than 120 days later.. the first person geico had me speak to was a fraud investigator which found my claim without suspicion.. geico has put me off and offered very poor customer service and have been down right rude and accusational. They do all they can to save themselves any outgoing payments while raking in everyones monthly payment... i highly recommend any company other than Geico

I have been with Geico for 4 Years and I AM LEAVING THEM NOW !!!!!!! I have frustrated experiences working with adjusters Sharon P., after leaving over15 messages and more then 20 times trying to rich her, for near 4 months , finally now received an email, not so easy, this last time I requested to speak with Sharon Supervisor . Long story short I was involved in an Accident in a parking lot, I am in my car when another car approaching to park entered my parking space I mean crossing the two dividing Paint lines and another 12” into my car parking spot and scraped deep driver side of my car. On the time of accident I called Geico and open a claim and in recorded line the other driver gave a clear statement then My car was not moving and he hit my car.I called 911 and Police didn’t even wanted to come , because the other driver accept the fault. Sharon P. has decided then is my fault as I had hit the other car when I was backing up, but doesn’t give me complete sense scenario, If I was backing up , where was other car , how is even possible. I think the incompetency of the Geico Adjuster Sharon P. is the she doesn’t spent time to look at the facts or introduce herself with . She refers to me I to call my Insurance for covering damages on my car , I don’t thing she understands then my Insurance is Also Geico . Everyone Stay Tuned, I will take this case to court against Geico .

I am filing a complaint against Geico Tucson in regards to their lack of transparency, a breach in their Policies for honoring their customer service of practice of good faith, lack of professional conduct, & their integrity in the handling of their services with me. I am in the Military & I should have the confidence that Geico, being a former Federal only insurance company who once specialized in insuring only Military personnel, would seek & generally want the utmost well-being of their customers & to provide worthy, quality, & honest customer service. I have received neither from my Adjusters, Nanthan, Dominique, & Emiddio. I strongly do NOT recommend them to anyone who is seeking trustworthy Auto-Insurance. Geico will not take care of you, no matter what your status is in their Policy! Stay Away!!

If Geico's insured is negligent in an accident and Geico accepts full responsibility, please take my advice and seek legal council. We are forced to hire an attorney due to being rear-ended by a Geico insured while stopped at a stoplight. Geico's insured was using their cell phone and was 100% negligent for causing the accident. Geico has refused to reimburse documented out-of-pocket expenses including medical and is very insensitive regarding the impact of a rear-end collision on a combat war veteran and their family. The adjuster contributed "fireworks" as having the same impact on a disabled veteran as a violent rear-end collision. I would STRONGLY recommend finding an insurance company that lives out their values and settles claims in a fair manner. This is my first review ever but I feel it's imperative to let people know, especially anyone who supports our veterans to NOT USE GEICO!

It is the worst car insurance company ever, Here is the trick they always do with the their customers, they call the customers, they gave you a good rate, but only for the first 6 months. They refuse to collect the money for all the year, just 6 months. They ask you to register in auto withdraw fro your credit card or from the bank account. After 6 month, they will cancel your policy, they will not call you or send you a litter. By the time you figure out that there is no money withdraw from credit card or your bank account, they canceled your insurance. When you call them asking why you did not withdraw r=the money, the answer id your insurance has been cancel. No problem sir we will do you another one. but with double price. If the do not use this trick with you, they have many other, just be smart and do not deal with such company Be careful, DO NOT EVER DEAL with this company.

I’m going to be switching company’s they don’t care for their customers anymore and they used my honesty against me. Elizabeth in the roadside assistance department along with her manager used my honesty against me and basically threw me to dirt and said best of luck go pay for your own tow company even though it said on the front screen of the app call roadside assistance for my motorcycle on the front page. I’ve been a customer since I been driving and they have always worked with me but during this pandemic and literally explaining to the manager that I thought I had roadside assistance on my motorcycle this entire time because I told the agents to cover my bike as much as possible just like my car. My bike has full coverage insurance I expected it to have towing as well. And when I asked the app over and over if I had roadside assistance it wouldn’t give me an actual answer. I got tired of waiting 20-30 minutes for a regular agent to answer so I could confirm if I did in fact have it because I have a flat on my motorcycle and the shop is 10 minutes away. And after not being able to get ahold of an agent I gave up and thought they would be caring and courteous like they always have been but Elizabeth tried to rush me off the phone right away and try to not let me talk to her manager at all I had asked three times before even getting to speak to the manager and he continued to not care about anything I said didn’t care about how long I been a customer didn’t care do anything I said what so ever didn’t work with me in anything at all and I even said “so your basically throwing me to the dirt and not helping me because of a huge misunderstanding that Geico agents were supposed to have roadside added to my bike didn’t do it correctly your going to screw me over and not help me and make me pay for a towing company myself during this pandemic “ and he said yes he replied yes. I told him straight up I was utterly disappointed and not happy and probly going to switch company’s now because of this and he did not care at all not one bit. Very sad I’ve been a customer for this long and it ends this way.

My name is Maribel. My son filed a claim on January 31st. The insurance company Geico gave my son excuse after excuse on why they couldn’t give him an answer about the claim that clearly was their customer’s fault. The driver reversed and hit my son’s parked vehicle. My teenage son made the claim and interacted with them, but because they figured that my son was inexperienced and naive(which he is neither) they likely didn’t expect him to have someone to represent him. They repeatedly treated him as if he wasn’t important and refused to let him know that they weren’t going to accept liability after verbally telling him they would. Their claim is that they recently discovered that the customer did not insure that particular vehicle with them. Apparently the guy that hit my son failed to give him the right information! Geico was holding important information that could have easily have been relayed to my son, and thereby would not have wasted 10 days waiting for nothing. I work for an insurance company. I help my customers on a daily basis, and have had many bad experiences with this company. They are always trying to get over on people and get away without doing the right thing and paying their claims

I filled out all the info on line for a quote and it was a great quote! I decided to call to find out why I couldn't change some info to double check my quote. Like excluding my wife cause she doesn't drive my truck and has her own policy. Several of their online questions asked if you had any tickets,accidents,due in the last 3 or 5 years. Well no we haven't. So once speaking with a agent she informed me I could have my wife excluded if she had her own policy but would still be listed on mine? I asked why just a 6 month policy? She said so we cod improve hour rates after 6 months. I said or increase the premiums after 6 months which she did not deny. She said the only way they would increase the policy is if after running the DMV report so I said run it cause I have a excellent driving record. Now my quote online was $77 and that's what she gave me. Then she had to have my credit card info before running the DMV!? Well I gave it to her. She came back with a quote of $110.00!!! She tried to keep talking while I was trying to ask what happened! She finally told me that because my wife had a violation 10 yes ago my quote went up! What a joke a how more tricky can you get! Why don't they ask about a violation from 10 yes not 3 or 5? Then why can't they exclude my wife? After all if she drove my truck and had a accident then they won't be responsible right? Well geico is a joke and very tricky so always ask all questions. They better not take money off my card being they got that info.

I’ve been with geico for about 6-7 years now. And all has been good. Until I totaled my car. I wish I was making this up. I spoke to at least 5/6 ppl the week my payment was supposed to be mailed out. It was delayed twice in that week. Prior to this I called at least 3 times to ensure that I would receive electronic pay out. long story short, they failed to provide me proper information for completing electronic payment steps so the electronic payout option failed (even though I had spoke to 3 ppl prrior to payout approval NO ONE gave me the proper info), lied about being able to reverse the changes, had the wrong mailing address on file anyway (which they had me update and correct twice), and they still delayed mailing the check. Why? Bc a supervisor hadn’t approved it yet. Should’ve received my payout on Tuesday, they didn’t mail the check until Friday (AFTER I called to get an update) even though they told me on Tuesday that I could still receive the payment elevtronically by end of week. Called back on Friday and they still hadn’t even mailed the check. The customer service reps were nice but not once did I speak with a supervisor about the issue. Poor. Poor customer service overall bc nice doesn’t resolve issues, especially issues that are “normally a pretty straightforward processs,” in the words of a custome service rep. Ridiculous.

I would leave a rating of less than one star if possible. Very antiquated customer service. Most businesses will call you back, if you’re waiting to speak to a human. Thereby not forcing you to stay on hold for more than 90 minutes. Not geico, you just wait. I had a problem with my billing. One agent quoted wrong amount I owed. This required multiple phone calls back on forth. Finally I paid the full, total bill over the phone with charge card. Three week later, they send me another bill asking for more money, which was in error on their part. Customer service rep can’t correct any billing issues, but must forward the error to the billing department. Now I wait three more days. Very very frustrating dealing with them. If there was zero I would of left it instead of one star. All I will say we paid our insurance for years and we never saved a nickel they claim on TV in commercials. In fact we’re doing business now with their competitors and paying half what we were. The reason we left when we had a claim they didn’t back their word. One of our claims wasn’t even paid. I’m sorry we gave them thousands of dollars over the years and when it came time for them to answer they didn’t back their word. Now they send us junk mail from Vice President Of marketing Joe P saying come back will save you five hundred dollars a year. He should of thought about that when we were doing business with you. I have had the absolute worst experience with geico. My damage adjuster “Huy D” has been terrible. From the beginning he has ran me around in circles. I totaled my car and needed geico to pay it off since I had full coverage and gap insurance so it should be no problem. Mr D originally told me he needed to go inspect the car to make sure it’s a total loss so I needed to get all the paperwork completed for the tow yard. I did that, just for Mr D to then tell me that he only works remotely and can’t go up there. So I asked him what to do since he’s an inspector what does he do if he can’t go in person and what do I do because I need my car to be verified for “total loss”. He tells me if I have pictures of the car then he can do it that way, but I always had pictures and he never gave me that option before? If we would have done that from the beginning this would have been done way faster. So I submit the pictures to him, he of course takes days to respond because that’s always how he has been. Come to find out the car had been moved several times to new tow yard because it was there too long. So now I have repo fees and towing fees that geico is supposed to handle for me. But Mr D said it would take a week or 2 for the check to get sent to the tow yard for them to get it and capital one needed it sooner otherwise they were going to put on my card that it was a repo because capital one is the one that had to tow the car so being in the original tow yard for so long. So I decided to pay the fees upfront myself and have geico send me the check in the mail. Everything is paid now and Mr D goes days and weeks taking so long to do this, after almost a month he tells me the car is good to go now and they are going to pick it up, me and him both call the tow yard to make sure everything is good and the lady tells us yes. More days pass and I ask him what is going on why isn’t the car picked up, he tells me that the tow yard is now saying they need some paperwork to release the car, even though they just told us it’s okay and Mr D is saying he doesn’t know what the paperwork is. So I myself call the tow yard to figure it out even though that’s his job, she tells me the only “paperwork” she needs is the towing company that is coming to get the car for me to email her an appointment day and time along with their ID, which is understandable. I called back Mr D and explained to him what “paperwork” it was and he said yeah I know I just called. But why didn’t he call days ago to figure it out? Also how did he not know what kind of paperwork it is, I called and found out within minutes, very easy task. So now over a month has passed and it’s been 31+ days and capital one has now put on my credit report a “repossession” due to the car being in the tow yard for so long and not getting paid off and completed in a timely manner. Huy D, who is a my Geico auto adjuster has destroyed my credit and put me through hell to get this situation taken care of. I take complete responsibility for my car accident, but as my insurance company you should help me fix it since that’s all you’re there for. On top of that I reached out to Geico directly and they told me they can’t do anything expect transfer me to Mr D. Although he works for them and I’m telling them he’s not helping me. Not to mention throughout this whole month, Mr D never answers phone calls or text messages for days at a time, despite how many voicemails I leave him. He also told me that if we can’t get the car out of the tow yard(which makes no sense cause it’s there and ready they just need an appointment from the towing company that’s going to come get it), that I’ll then be given the car back to me and Geico won’t pay anything off on the car or do anything and I’ll just be stuck with it. Even though I have full coverage and gap insurance and the car is very low in miles so it’s not an older beat up car, unbelievable. It’s safe to say Geico has great coverage and policies but terrible auto adjusters and they do not help you even if you call and tell them the people that work for them aren’t doing anything. I am now fighting to get this “repo” off my credit. On top of that I have lost my job, my car, I’m injured with a fractured neck and can barely walk, and temporarily lost my license. Despite having these injuries I still took ubers and got transportation to get all the paperwork and everything done just so it was easier for him even though I was supposed to be at home resting, but that didn’t help at all.
