Worse insurance I’ve ever had. I don’t recommend it to anyone. Have to pay $1000 for a deductible for my windshield and i went to a windshield store and told me it was only going to cost me $700 how is that far?? I’ve been a loyal customer for 3 years and after this i really don’t recommend it to anyone. I waisted my time and money with this company.

It is worst experience for me for my driving time. I lived in Erie PA and had full coverage and comprehensive insurance. Moved to Florida. Was recommended by my wife's cusen to go with Geico. After getting my insurance at Geico, two month later I had a small accident. When I report a claim, turned out I don't have coverage for my vehicle. They said, I never requested. With increasing all bodily injury coverage and having comprehensive coverage, turned out I didn't insure my vehicle?. Crazy. Never again. The worst company. Stay away from it.

They made me pay my deductible on an accident that was cited as the other drivers fault after the driver hit my car on the rear end. The other driver was issued a ticket as failure to yield. The other driver also had geico insurance.

Geico is the worst. They screwed us over when we rear ended a car that slammed on their breaks, ON THE FREEWAY. They refused to try and help us and charged us an arm and a leg. That Geico mascot is a liar and a deceiver. We switched car insurances immediately after this occurrence.

I was in a MVA caused by another driver, 5 car collision, to be specific and the whole time trying to get my money back after drs and missing work for 2 months cause of this accident they kept low balling me giving me problems to get reimbursed giving me the run around it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD! They were NOO help!

We've been with Geico for a couple of years. My husband likes them more than I do. We had several issues with trying to get cards in the right names for the right cars. They just kept messing up. Any time we have to call it's a huge pain, and the people are not that nice to deal with. While they are cheap, their service is not great at all.

I initially went with Geico because they were able to drastically decrease my rates. However, that came at a cost when I actually needed them. I had an instance come up where I specifically asked them to keep me informed on a certain circumstance and they completely failed to notify me of any updates. I even made sure they put a special notice on my account to be updated. All together, they failed to follow through and I have moved onto other insurance providers.

i was a customer for 10 years with 5 vehicles under there policy then received a letter accusing me of using one of the units for paying passengers. I asked them for proof they would not give me any and cancelled my entire policy even with out a blink of an eye. I will continue to express how awful they were with more evidence after my 18 year old daughters pickup truck was stolen and they denied the entire claim! never use them they are corrupt!

Geico is fine, and they are cheaper than most, but their claim service wasn't as fast a anticipated. I waited two days to hear back if my claim was going to be processed. And after an accident it's a stressful time, so waiting for the insurance to call, unfortunately heightens all anxiety that could be avoided with quicker service.

I had Geico auto insurance for years, then one day I was rear-ended and needed to file a claim. After weeks of Geico discussing with the other party (who was uninsured), the Geico agent followed up with me to tell me that they could no longer pursue the other party for damages because it was going to be too costly for them. That was it, after years of paying my insurance bills and not filing any claims, the one time I needed my insurer to do their job, they bowed out because it wasn't in their best interest. I promptly cancelled my policy and have never looked back. I also continue to share this story to anyone that mentions Geico.

I geico was my 1st insurance company. Their prices were a little high but nothing out of this world. However I ended up getting T boned. By the age of 19 I had completely gone off my parents insurance and was paying on my own. When I was hit by the guy I quickly found out he didn't himself have insurance. As well as getting T boned by a truck going 85 miles an hour I was unable to get my story straight immediately. So we couldn't find out who is at fault. My frustration knowing the guy was a going to immediately go after me. I cancel my geico insurance immediately and offered to pay him out of pocket. Again the guide and of insurance himself. However even though I paid the guy out of pocket and agreed to settle this out of pocket. He so contact geico and instead of going after me they chose to go after my parents who've been with them for 25 plus years. Again I had nothing to do with their insurance but they still chose to up my parents insurance because in the past we had been associated. Mind you I was again 18 and no longer on their service and was in adult. Not to mention my "1st car accident". Was my friend opening her door onto another door at a smoke shop. There were the same dings on all the door handles. But being 18 and having a belligerent drunk scream at you that you just hit his expensive car you quickly give your insurance information. I had a good feeling that I hadn't done the damage like I said there were similar damage on all 4 door handles including that i qoute chipped the paint. So of course we sent it to geico I figured they would have sided with me saying I'm the one who pays. But of course they didn't they said they found remnants of my paint on his car which even in the pictures I have I can show there was none. They chose rent amount whatever car he wanted for the week and paints his entire car for 8 ding that was no bigger than my pinky nail. And of course the excited to charge it as a full car accident so I had to pay full price in my insurance as if I had hit somebody and was still Held over me by them and other insurance companies except my current one who laughed when I explain the story and immediately took it off. Geico doesn't care about the customers and will always side with the person that doesn't own the car insurance. I've heard from several people who had them that they've had the same experience they always sided with the opposing party. I want to surance company that will fight for me. I pay nearly over a $1000 I expect that honestly. So if you wanna company that will definitely pleased the party that you hit or might have hit you definitely go with they geico. If you want an insurance company that will if you want an insurance company that will charge your faimly that beacuse they were Affiliated with you go with geico. But over all have a beautiful day

After a year from my previous review,I feel the need to re-evaluate Geico's rating and satisfaction- as we have paid off our car loan, i reexamined my policy and could kick myself- DON"T BE COMPLACENT- watch you rates as our have climbed steadily over the past 2 years , slowly but surely. i did call them about 6 months ago and was offered a $5/moth discount if i took an online defensive driving class- who has time to do that, and how effective can an online class be ?! So I withdraw my flattering 5 star review and replace it with a big fat 0 or 5 Black holes- thumbs down!! Lesson learned and I hope to have a better review of my new company by month end. just a follow up from April's review- just received yet another rate increase from GEICO , again. No points or incidents to report- just the plain ole fact i live in Florida! is this legal- almost feel persecuted for living here . We pared back our coverages earlier this year just to make it a little more affordable but now it has increased $360.00/ year without our doing anything wrong. GEICO says accident rates in Florida are high and our 2 cars , a Toyota and a Subaru, paid in full, are expensive to insure because of parts. like 6 months ago. We are legacy members , so GEICO cannot drop us. This time , last year , we had full and affordable coverage and paid off car loan last April. anyone have any advice? As of 2023- we joined another company with a 6 month premium for a bit less than geico's 200/ month, both still have medium coverage and no UMP

Customer service is meh. They aren't fast at replying to email requests, . Their sales pitch is hard! And they will raise your rates in very unnoticeable amounts until one day you wake up and realize you are paying 40% more than you did last year.
