It cost us around $3,000 to get our system in place. The actual day for installment was a disaster, as he dug holes all over our yard. He was very sweet and worked for hours. They need to purchase the machine that can detect things underground instead of digging holes all over the yard and making their employees work to the bone like that. After having it installed, we cannot tell a difference in water quality. Our neighbors have gotten other water softener type systems installed from other companies and could tell an immediate change in taste, how the water affected their dishes, hair, etc. We cannot tell a difference like this with this system, so we don't recommend it to our neighbors.

I was promised that the water softener would eliminate the rust and Lyme. It has not eliminated the Lyme and when someone came to check on it I was told that I should get my water pressure turned up. That is another expense and another day off that I will have to take.

My husband saw an ad online for a free water test and set up an appointment on the one day a week that I work! By the time I got home, he had ordered a new water system from Leaf even though we had no issues with our water. We had a water system already that was old, but I didn't notice any problems with it. The Leaf salesman had my husband so scared about our water, even though the water he tested was what came into the house, NOT THE WATER COMING OUT OF THE KITCHEN SINK, which is the water we actually used! So there's no way of knowing if our water system was still doing its job or not! The new system was installed THE VERY NEXT DAY! Usually you have 3 days to think about and cancel a purchase like this. If it was up to me, I would have shopped around a little. The company that sold us our old system would have charged us only about half of what the Leaf system cost! And by the way, anytime I had a salesman come to the house, my husband always had to be there too. Also, I didn't notice any difference in our water after the new system was installed.

My water is very hard and alkaline. They took out my water softener so they could put the system in my crawl space because there was nowhere else in the house to put it. I cannot go down there and bypass it if my well needs to be sanitized. Had nothing but trouble the first year. They took months to get it on track. Fired most of the guys they sent out there

I will never ever recommend your company ever!! We get the Kamala H. treatment, avoid the problems and questions; answers. In other words we never get solutions it's always getting the run around ans go around the issues. Always told the product is working when clearly it's not. Techs can't even do their jobs correctly and or if they come they forget to do things like an important thing, turning the by pass off so the product at least attemps to work. Absolutely sick of paying for this product, we never get answers, always get broken promises, never get what we're told we're going to get, the products are trash!!!

The salesman never mentioned that after a year, the annual service is not 100$ anymore. The cost of annual is about 500$. Just be aware of this trapped. I have no other choice but paid for it. I am not sure if others services out there can do it for less.

However, the customer service process is cumbersome and every time I need to follow up the next day or 2 because I did not receive the follow up call to schedule the actual appointment. This water system dose NOT do ANYTHING the company promised. We got the system to protect our renovation of our kitchen and bath. They have been to our home to adjust or check the system as we were having to clean rust out of our toilet, sinks and shower every week. We have had to replace our shower hand held an the rain head 2 times. The heating element in our brand new dishwasher is all rusted. Even though we have had tech after tech out monthly we Still had to pay the 350.00 yearly maintenance fee. We pay our monthly payment as agreed for 15 years. The sales rep "I don't believe" knew just how hard the water is in our area is. So no I would NOT recommend Leaf Home Water Solutions to anyone. now I will be paying over 9,000.00 dollars for a system I would like them to just get out of my house. We could call it even.

Unfortunately doing everything they have instructed, we still get some orange toast stains in the toilets and sinks. Randomly we will also have a pond water smell to the water. It has made the water better than it was but it is not up to the expectations provided at sales time.

I’m personally not impressed with leaf home water solutions. The system is average at best and the maintenance costs they charge yearly increases substantially yearly. It started out at $98.00/year. Which they said was an introductory cost. The next year it went up to $198.00 the second year and now it’s up to $329.00. At this cost one is able to purchase over 40 bags of salt. I’ll be looking into going with a salt system.

I actually went to the BBB and filed a complaint. I called in and spoke with a lady who told me that my "call to her represented my request for cancellation" and yet, it did not. I also sent my cancellation notice to them within the "three day" period indicated in their contract, and I had the postage purchase showing the date the letter was sent, but since LEAF didn't receive it for a few days later they denied my request for refund. So I had asked for a total home filtration system, and what I got was a four thousand dollar water softener. Scammy and smooth talking sales people who never return your call after the sale. Never heard from them again. Would NEVER recommend and would never buy from them again. I wish I could leave them ZERO stars. They don't deserve a single one.

Absolutely no pressure sales reused. The salesman just did the water test which was very close to a test that I had a lab due a few months earlier. The price of the system was 60% less than two major competitors . The installation was done the next day in about three hours. I would highly recommend the system. It is working just very well.

My skin looks and feels softer since installing the Leaf Water Filter. I also had the reverse-osmosis system installed which I am disappointed in. The water looks cloudy at first then clears up but I did not like the taste. I wish I had not installed this part of the system.

After choosing my system, I am left with an odor from my filtered water. I reported this issue and a tech came out and took a water sample and told me that he would get back with me. When I did not hear anything back, I made a second call and was told someone would get back with me. And now it has been reported a third time and still no one has gotten back to me with a solution. We are on well water and it was important to me to have a water filtration system. An odor in the water has an affect on clothes that are washed preventing them from having a nice fresh smell. I feel that someone should be willing to work with me to resolve this problem.

Compared to our old system it is nice not seeing iron stain's and lime build up everywhere. Also we purchased a large system and now the neighbors well pump quit working. Due to a shortage of people who repair wells, two weeks, we just put hoses between the houses. Simple solution, we both have soft, clear water.

I really wanted the whole water solution, but configurations of my piping and other thing didn't allow it. I purchased a system, from "Leaf," that uses a UV light to keep contaminates out of the water. If there ever was. an alert to boil the water, I would be SAFE from this hazard. The rep was honest and I have had good service.

Daniel was great. He came out and arranged for the RO. The first installer was good but seemed like he had a difficult time. The second installer came to hook up my fridge but he left my dishwasher hose on the hot spigot and didn't cap off the cold. My dishwasher did not have any water which I only noticed after I ran a full session. Seems it should have been on the cold spigot, not the hot. I had to call someone else to help me reconfigure under my sink so I could actually use my dishwasher. Still need to get a 3/8 cap to close off the open hot. Daniel sent the issue to the installers but no one ever got back to me which was disappointing. I would expect that they would want to make things right, but seemed they had no interest.

Leaf didn't stand behind the salesmanship and management promise to resolve my water condition scenario. Simply dishonest and field technicians validated after sales/installation Leaf Home Solution System couldn't resolve issues. Plus, salesman indicated an annual service fee of $199 to change filters, UV light, etc and then after 1st year Leaf said.... oh $199 was just a promo at the time of sale now it's $449. As a company, if Leaf stood behind the sale promises I would than have favorable feedback.... unfortunately not a favorable customer review.

Dealing with issues from the start. Had the system 1year before the tech noticed they forgot to install the charcoal filter. Then there’s the issue of water out of the tap tasting very salty from time to time. Even though I check the system for salt and for ‘bridging’ all the time. I would call the service tech out but don’t want to pay the high price for a call. I should have gone with name brand system had I known.

After the installation of the water system ... never heard a thing from the company ... no follow up ... no maintenance offered or suggested for either the whole house water softener or the reverse osmosis sink system...

I was not impressed with the amount repairs this system has had to go through to get it working. I was not impressed by the poor quality of service I received from being stood up 3 times by the techs. I was unpleased by the amount of salt the system blew through in 3 months, I am not happy with the smell of the water.

Great product, frustrating, inferior service. The salesperson stated that the old water heater would be removed, but after repeated phone calls, that never happened. The original installation was not done per the agreed-upon criteria, resulting in the utility closet door being unable to shut and the electrical panel door not being able to be closed. A subsequent visit occurred after I repeatedly informed the vendor of the issues, but the representative arrived without the necessary supplies, resulting in a functional but aesthetically displeasing equipment installation.

I took them to small claims court for not being truthful about the equipment they talked me into purchasing. It was not appropriate for the plumbing in my house but they failed to mention that bit of information. Despite the indisputable facts--water was at a minimum no longer potable, turned my fixtures brown, and smelled-- they refused to give my money back so I took them to court. I won.

They did a sloppy job of installing and left a mess. I let them know of the issue and they promised to send out a technician. After multiple missed scheduled appointments I gave up and made the fixes myself. Currently I am stuck with using Leaf to replace the light every year at an overpriced rate. I should spent a little more and bought a Culligan.
