I like the purity of the water from the water filtration system that is installed. The water softening system is nice to have as well. It makes the laundry softer without having to use any type of fabric softener.

We got the worst installer and installation. I don’t know where they found this guy but he did a botched installation and was very creepy. I’m really happy that my wife’s caregiver was there. They were both uneasy with this guy in the house. I had to get my plumber out to redo his installation at my own expense but the pipe he used was inferior. The manager sent another installer to redo the entire installation with the updated piping system. I heard water one day and the UV sanitizer had ruptured and was spraying water all over the place. I’m really happy that it was outdoors and not in the house. I would have given one star but the manager attempted to make the installation right and sent a technician to repair the water leak. The system did not come with any documentation and self service is not an option. The brine tank is filled with water and I do not believe that the system is working. I was told by the salesman that the annual service was $99 but I paid $249 plus tax.

Very expensive to install. They do NOTHING extra. Very expensive to keep going. Almost$400.00 yearly to have maintenance. It's fixed so you can not take care of it yourself. I still have rust in my water. We're extremely rude to me when there was a problem caused by their service man and installer. Did absolutely NOTHING to help. Very unhappy. Wish I stayed with culligan.

THE SALESMAN,DANNY, WAS NOT HONEST IN HIS PRESENTATION AND ONCE THE PRODUCT WAS INSTALLED AND PAID FOR NONE OF THE PROMISES HE MADE DID HE FOLLOW UPON. I CONTACTED HIM ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND HE NEVER SHOWED UP OR RECONTACTED ME. HAD PROMISED TO COMEBACK TO RECHECK THE SYSTEM. I THEN CONTACTED THE SERICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY FAILED TO FOLLOW UP ON THEIR PROMISED TO COME AND RECHECK THE SYSTEM.

This January I will have had my Leaf home water system in my home for 2 years...I honestly have to say I am disappointed in the performance of the system, which includes the ultraviolet lamp system. In the beginning it seemed pretty good, but that was comparing to a 20 year old system that was removed prior to thus system being installed .....didnt take long fur things to go downhill, I actually had them come back to check it, come to find out the filter in the ultraviolet lamp side of the system was clogged bad, had it replaced then, but I was totally surprised that all that stuff got past the first stage of the system where you have the two tanks: why did I think it's the job of that section to clean the water? So, for those to choose NOT to add the ultraviolet lamp to kill germs, are allowing even dirtier water to enter the home, not what they are expecting either. I can smell my water now, I find residue in my SS tumbler that I drink from, a brownish substance that I wipe outta it, I no longer drink the water sadly, I've been drinking bottled instead...how sad is that after investing over 6k in this system?? I chose Leaf home water after listening to a very convincing sales guy, and did not go with the local American Aqua co. that others in my area were using ( the old system un my home was from them) not a huge thing also was, supposedly this system was to use less salt than others....not so, I've gone thru ALOT salt, seems more than my old system🤷‍♂️... all in all this is why I've scored 2 stars, and would not at this point feel confident in recommending to others

We purchased the whole house system and added R/O treatment for drinking water. We love the R/O. The system works but did not eliminate the sulfuric smell that we sometimes get when the water faucets are first turned on. The salesman told is that the system would resolve the anaerobic smell. It did not. As far as service goes, the guys that do the installs and service are top notch, reliable, personable and care.

The system itself is good. But all of the service people are subcontractors not employees so there seems to be no training for uniformed procedures. Each subcontractor does things their own way. My system is located outside and they act like this is the first time they have dealt with this. A lot of confusion as to weather it should be covered or not. Still waiting for company person in charge of installation to call me not there local guy. Salesman was very misleading and said it was a salt free system to soften the water. Yearly maintenance was just them replacing the filters in my water purifier. I expected him to do more for the price.

My Leaf home system hasn’t worked in months. Called for assistance. Was told I would be charged a service fee just to look at their broken system. Five weeks later, while I’m away on vacation, Leaf called me to let me know they were ready to take a look at my faulty system. I told them I was away and the system was inside my locked garage. Needless to say, I’m not happy.

We have had the leaf Home Water softener system for over a month. Works well but no one from the company contacted us to see if our system is working well or to see if we had any questions or concerns. We have always been a customer of Alamo Water Softeners and were very happy with their customer service. Leaf Home Water Systems should follow that practice

The water filter was outrageously overpriced, and the complete inability to obtain service makes this company one I strongly urge everyone to avoid. For the past two weeks, I have been trying—without success—to schedule my required annual service appointment with Leaf Home Water Solutions. The experience has been infuriating and absolutely unacceptable. My water filtration system has been displaying a constant warning that the water may not be safe, along with a nonstop beeping alarm that cannot be silenced until service is completed. This is a system I paid a significant amount of money for, and yet I cannot get the company to perform even the most basic maintenance. I have called customer service every single day for two weeks. Most calls go unanswered after long hold times. When I select the callback option, I often receive no callback at all. On the rare occasions someone does call me back, I am told a manager or scheduling representative will follow up. No one ever does. I have emailed multiple times and have never received a response. There is no online scheduling option, leaving customers entirely dependent on a phone system that clearly does not work. I have now wasted countless hours trying to schedule a simple maintenance appointment while enduring a nonstop alarm from a system that is supposed to protect my water quality. The lack of communication, responsibility, and basic customer support from Leaf Home Water Solutions is beyond disappointing—it is negligent. Based on my experience, I strongly discourage anyone from using this company. Their customer service is dysfunctional, their communication is nonexistent, and their follow‑through is completely unreliable. I would not trust them with something as important as water safety.

I told salesman I wanted my existing system replaced with a salt free whole house system because I have hard water with iron in it. They sold me a system that made my water more poisonous and harder than my old leaky system. Now they want me to BUY an addition water softening system to the one they installed that for $5000, doesn't do what it's designed to do. Their own technician filled a jug with clear well water and a jug through filter system that was as orange as apple cider or tea. For an additional few thousand. We are at a stalemate because they don't offer anything doing even though their product isn't doing what it's designed to do. They sent the same salesman to sell me another line of BS for over 2100 dollars instead of admitting he mislead and lied to me to make the original sale. The initial water test was bad but the test currently is worse and near deadly.

It cost us around $3,000 to get our system in place. The actual day for installment was a disaster, as he dug holes all over our yard. He was very sweet and worked for hours. They need to purchase the machine that can detect things underground instead of digging holes all over the yard and making their employees work to the bone like that. After having it installed, we cannot tell a difference in water quality. Our neighbors have gotten other water softener type systems installed from other companies and could tell an immediate change in taste, how the water affected their dishes, hair, etc. We cannot tell a difference like this with this system, so we don't recommend it to our neighbors.

My husband saw an ad online for a free water test and set up an appointment on the one day a week that I work! By the time I got home, he had ordered a new water system from Leaf even though we had no issues with our water. We had a water system already that was old, but I didn't notice any problems with it. The Leaf salesman had my husband so scared about our water, even though the water he tested was what came into the house, NOT THE WATER COMING OUT OF THE KITCHEN SINK, which is the water we actually used! So there's no way of knowing if our water system was still doing its job or not! The new system was installed THE VERY NEXT DAY! Usually you have 3 days to think about and cancel a purchase like this. If it was up to me, I would have shopped around a little. The company that sold us our old system would have charged us only about half of what the Leaf system cost! And by the way, anytime I had a salesman come to the house, my husband always had to be there too. Also, I didn't notice any difference in our water after the new system was installed.

In other words we never get solutions it's always getting the run around ans go around the issues. Always told the product is working when clearly it's not. Techs can't even do their jobs correctly and or if they come they forget to do things like an important thing, turning the by pass off so the product at least attemps to work. Absolutely sick of paying for this product, we never get answers, always get broken promises, never get what we're told we're going to get, the products are trash!!!

This water system dose NOT do ANYTHING the company promised. We got the system to protect our renovation of our kitchen and bath. They have been to our home to adjust or check the system as we were having to clean rust out of our toilet, sinks and shower every week. We have had to replace our shower hand held an the rain head 2 times. The heating element in our brand new dishwasher is all rusted. Even though we have had tech after tech out monthly we Still had to pay the 350.00 yearly maintenance fee. We pay our monthly payment as agreed for 15 years. The sales rep "I don't believe" knew just how hard the water is in our area is. So no I would NOT recommend Leaf Home Water Solutions to anyone. now I will be paying over 9,000.00 dollars for a system I would like them to just get out of my house. We could call it even.

The installation went smoothly. Support is excellent over the telephone or if requesting on-site service. I wish there was an appto tell you when the unit is off-line since it is powered by a GFI outlet.

I have had several brands of water softeners over the years in both Europe and the USA. None of them provided the quality and purity of the water of our Leaf System.

My water is softer but still leave spots. When you call for maintenance everyone that comes says the last guy set it wrong... would not recommend this company. Spent alot of money on this system but i could have done much better. Shame on me and shame on Leaf Home Water Solutions....

I’m personally not impressed with leaf home water solutions. The system is average at best and the maintenance costs they charge yearly increases substantially yearly. It started out at $98.00/year. Which they said was an introductory cost. The next year it went up to $198.00 the second year and now it’s up to $329.00. At this cost one is able to purchase over 40 bags of salt. I’ll be looking into going with a salt system.

I actually went to the BBB and filed a complaint. I called in and spoke with a lady who told me that my "call to her represented my request for cancellation" and yet, it did not. I also sent my cancellation notice to them within the "three day" period indicated in their contract, and I had the postage purchase showing the date the letter was sent, but since LEAF didn't receive it for a few days later they denied my request for refund. So I had asked for a total home filtration system, and what I got was a four thousand dollar water softener. Scammy and smooth talking sales people who never return your call after the sale. Never heard from them again. Would NEVER recommend and would never buy from them again. I wish I could leave them ZERO stars. They don't deserve a single one.
