Once I understood the gravity of that reality, she led me through the process of developing a comprehensive, custom plan. I called Anthem because I wanted to catch up on any owed taxes before renewing a passport. I was assigned to Caleb C., who was very pleasant, professional, and indeed helpful. He spent time asking me about my situation to see if I would qualify for Anthem's services. I had been quoted $295 by another tax service to review my case, but Caleb did it right away for free--there was NO attempt to try and sell me services I didn't need. In a matter of a few minutes, we were able to clarify my situation, and it turns out I didn't need further assistance. I hung up feeling better about my situation and feeling really impressed with Caleb for how quickly and efficiently he was able to help me, and at no cost! If I do ever need assistance with my taxes, I won't hesitate to do it through Anthem. I feel like I dealt with an agent that genuinely wanted to help me, which is really important in terms of receiving quality service with something as complex as taxes.

Everything about my experience today was five star. First with my representative, Tim S Was my first representative. I found him very knowledgeable and friendly. As he took all the necessary information I moved on to the next representative Greg.h was my first representative. I found him very knowledgeable and friendly. As he took all the necessary information I moved on to the next representative Greg H Who explain the process got my information and we got on the call with the IRS. I was given a notice on the bill around $10,000 that I had from 2016 for my business. he came to find out through Greg and the IRS conference call that I indeed owed nothing to the IRS. They spent quite some time on information and calls. The one that came to find out I owed nothing. to the IRS I also have a pleasant surprise or not doing anything to Anthem For their help. It was a wonderful load off of seniors mine. I can’t think Greg and Tim enough for the excellent service. They actually sounded like they really wanted to help and they did.
I found the company by googling best five tax services, read some reviews and gave them a call. They more than met my expectations.

Oh my goodness. I received assistance from Eric H. I am so grateful and appreciative of him. He and I contacted the IRS and after the IRS gave him the information, he said I did not need their services. Erin could have fed me some BS and charged me a fortune because I was so over the IRS. Anthem Tax Service is not about taking money unnecessarily. Eric calling the IRS is their free consultation. Who does anything for free anymore? Thank you Anthem. I called Anthem due to their excellent rating and status with the BBB. I am so thankful. Eric, you absolutely rock. Calling Anthem Tax Services was the indisputable, best decision ever!!!!!!!!

I used another highly rated service 2 years ago & paid a lot of money and got absolutely nothing!!! The bills and threats continued. I was so afraid. So, I had to do something before I lost my home.
I started researching companies that might be able to help me. Every review I read and people I spoke with said try Anthem Tax Service.
I did and you have no idea how grateful and thankful I am!
They actually worked with the IRS and did get me something I could afford to make payments on without giving up everything, RX, food, my home, etc.
My advice to you is STOP being afraid of the IRS and what they are threatening to do to you!
Call Anthem Tax Service! I promise it will give you peace of mind because they will work for a resolution you can live with, just like they did for me.

Anthem Tax Services Secured an Amazing Deal!
I fell behind, long story short... I owed 5 digits. I was just frozen by the daunting task of having to deal with the IRS/State. I was simply overwhelmed by the whole prospect. Anthem stepped in and handled the entire process - communicating with the IRS/State on my behalf and updating me along the way. This all happened during the pandemic, and due to Federal and State backlogs, it took months for the IRS/State to get everything processed, which means both agencies were constantly barraging me with letters and deadlines. Anthem had me email them every single notification that was mailed to me, no matter how insignificant or monotonous the mailing seemed. They encouraged me to email or call anytime I had any questions (and I had a lot of questions); and every time, they answered each question 1 by 1 without making me feel like I was asking stupid questions. The customer service was truly bar none! The team I worked with was Victoria, Valorie F., and Christian G., - together they handled my case... through the pandemic, through the lockdowns, through the holidays and were there for me every single step of the way. They helped make sense of an entirely chaotic and confusing situation. After years of feeling a crushing weight that I just could not seem to get out from under by myself - I couldn't be more satisfied with the resolution that Anthem achieved with both the State and the IRS! --- I was so pleased with the results that I have contracted to work with Anthem for my future tax filings to make sure I don't fall behind again --- I will keep my Rating Updated so that you can see Anthem doesn't just handle difficult cases (like mine) after you've gotten into a hole, but they're also for regular annual filing!

My husband and I owed money to the IRS and could not decide what our next steps were before they garnished our wages or put a levy on our property, so we reached out to Anthem Tax Services and spoke with Sam B. After speaking with him, he immediately reviewed our financial situation and gave us the hard truth...that IRS does not allow all of our expenses (Toys) to be part of their decision on whether to reduce our total due to them. He stated their may be options for us, but asked that he participate in a phone call with the IRS directly to help us determine how much we actually owe so he can assist us in determining our options. We scheduled the call for the very next day. After my husband and I spoke that evening, we decided to refinance the house to get rid of the debt now and begin to move on with our lives without the stress of IRS looming over us. I sincerely thank Sam for his honesty and professionalism in making my husband and I see what we already knew, but needed to hear from a professional. Sam also followed up with us and let us know to reach back out to him if we have any more concerns.

I was contracted with Anthem Tax to help me with my tax debt however, after several months, I had multiple family issues (Covid-related) that caused me great financial and personal hardship. Anthem Tax worked with me and refunded almost all the money I had invested in their services to help me out of my hardship.
They are truly empathetic to the consumer. Once my financial hardships are rectified, I will definitely go back to them to help me with my tax debt. I truly trust their mission, goal, and work ethic!

Wanted to write a quick review of the FANTASTIC SERVICE I received from Alex F., one of their tax analysts.
Alex's professionalism, communication, candor, and quick service/response were all on point and very much appreciated. He responded quickly to my request for information, and got on a call with me at 7:30 AM Pacific time to walk me through the IRS conference call and initial set-up. He was kind, understanding, patient, and gave me faith that I will be able to get through my tax issues.
I had a LESS than satisfactory experience talking to Optima -- as I told him, they pay millions for their advertising, so I called them first. I found Anthem online, after I had the conversation with Optima. So glad I did!
Alex is great, and he's the reason I'm going to sign up with Anthem Tax. Awesome service!

Charlie R. has got to be the best agent that Anthem Tax Services has in their employ. His knowledge and the of our situation/problem was immediate as if we had been talking for days. His demeanour is calm and confident. This changed the emotion from what was a scary and hopeless IRS collection nightmare to more of a "Bump in the Road" easily maneuvered down a path well traveled by Mr. R. The resolution: A debt of $19,974.00 went to $0.00. A huge weight and years of sleepless nights disappeared in a puff of smoke. We can't be more thankful for his seemingly effortless work removing this burden.

I was a little skeptical about using a tax service thinking was was just some kind of scam and maybe some one that takes your money and you never hear from again. On the contrary... they were courteous and friendly and wanted to help. they worked with the finance for me, Anytime time there were any changes they let me know. my file went through 3 different people (you can't expect 1 person to do it all ) and it seemed like forever but it was only 2 months. in the end they called to tell me my debt with the IRS was wiped clean, I had no more debt after 10 yrs, with interest I owed a little over $100,000. I would definitely recommend Anthem Tax Service to friends and family.. they tell you not all results are the same and obviously they can't be but they go to work and get great results.

I am someone who , for a number of reasons, ran into a tax debt with the IRS. With fees and interest, it was heading toward a substantial, untenable total. The IRS are not forgiving , patient or at all concerned with your personal situations or challenges. I knew that I needed to engage a professional and after some cursory research, I engaged a different tax service. After initial promises, my money was being taken but my calls weren't returned. Months went by with no action taken on my behalf. After many tenuous often heated phone calls I received a partial refund. I knew then that I needed to do more homework and do more research into tax service organizations. I came across Anthem and sent an email query. Within half of a business day my query was returned and I spoke with their engagement team. From the very first ten minutes they were open, direct, honest and professional yet friendly and reasonable. We set up favorable payment terms and with 2 business days the discovery/information gathering members of my assigned team contacted me and thoroughly took all of my information required. They also answered my many questions or promised to have others within the Anthem respond with answers to my questions. They did within 24 hours. Dealing with the IRS is stressful and can be a slow and tedious process. My assigned team at Anthem kept me updated at every step along the way and were again extremely patient and thorough in addressing my concerns. With Covid delays stretching the process, we finally have options that are going to amount to nothing less than an extremely positive, life altering outcome. My Advocate, his Coordinator and their team who are negotiating directly with the IRS on my behalf have explained the merits of each available option. Once again they've patiently addresses all of my questions and concerns. As we work towards finalizing a very favorable outcome, I feel extremely grateful. *I know this sounds like I am a paid spokesperson and that is not the case. * The folks at Anthem are true professionals and even better, very nice people. Anthem has changed my life!!! I’m a Gulf War Vet who build a beautiful Gold’s Gym and family for over 20yrs. A liberal over aggressive DA sued my company and self for 75,000,00.00 for civil compliance issues with my agreements font size in two areas. Ultimate my family lost its company and my America dream as a Pro Athlete in the sport of fitness. In losing my company the Trustee dumped over 250,000.00 in tax liabilities. I called Anthem Tax Service January of 2019, about my husband Ed's back taxes, and to get information as to how we could resolve this situation an not cost us a small fortune.
I told them about my husband Ed being I'll since 2011 and that his prognosis will only worsen over time.
We were Blessed with Daniel A to work on our case with the IRS. Daniel worked hard to help get us through this ordeal without us being overwhelmed with a ton of paper work. Daniel is a soft spoken young man who is just amazing, kind and relentless when it came to doing his job and helping Ed an I . If you are wondering what company you should go with for your tax problems. I highly recommend Anthem Tax Services. From start to finish they have been very professional and Knowledgeable of the tax laws. I did my taxes myself through a very common tax program. Witch did not inform me of a Mortgage debt relief act of 2007. Anthem Tax Services caught my mistake and Amended my state and federal taxes. Which saved me over 14000.00 dollars. I can't Express how relived and happy I was when I receive that news. It was like a Giant weight was lifted off my chest. So trust me when I say you should give them a call. Regards! David Perez

My experience with Anthem Tax Services was excellent. From the moment I reached out to Anthem I received exceptional customer services. Their team of professionals (yes professionals) made me feel like they would take care of everything and they did. My representative Adam L was extremely knowledgeable, and courteous. I never had to chase after him for questions or responses. He made me feel like I was the only client. Everything he said he would do, he did. This was the kind of personal service we all would like to receive, but unfortunately more than not don’t. I gladly recommend Anthem Tax Services and Adam L if you are looking for someone to help you in dealing with the IRS. I did and it was the best thing I did.

I just got off the phone with my tax attorney Minji and the owner Josh of Anthem Tax Services and I am here to tell you they are the real deal. I had allowed my taxes to go for 6 years and was so afraid of what the IRS would do to me. My taxes that I owed was well into 6 figures and the only option that I had was an installment program. Two tax advisors prior to Anthem told me that I would have to pay thousands on a monthly installment program and they would probably put a lien on my bank account. I was terrified and desperate I told one tax advisor I was going to use a tax relief company and she told me that they were all scams. Luckily I didn't listen to her and I am happy to say Minji reduced my taxes by about 2/3 and I have an affordable installment agreement ...less than what I could ever imagine. Minji and Anthem are miracle workers. I am forever grateful to them. They really care about their customers and I am highly recommending them to anyone who has tax issues. Please call them they will allow you to afford your life!!!!

strongly express how expeditiously the Anthem team worked to alleviate any concerns I may have had. Every team member has really stepped up to make sure we receive the best customer service possible. David has been especially understanding and has contacted me several times with updates and has worked extremely hard to make sure I understand the entire process and the steps required to get there. I would not hesitate to recommend this awesome Anthem team to address any tax concerns. Again, my previous review was written without me possessing critical information about our case, resulting in negative comments that I now understand were circumstantial, not related to the company or this awesome team. I truly appreciate their personal touch, which is very hard to find, which increases my trust in their abilities.

What a day after getting screwed by Optima Tax that just took my $500.00 and wanted another $5,900 dollars which I sure didn’t have just lying around. I happen to see an ad for Anthem Tax Services so after thinking about it I called and a guy named Joshua answered. Right away I knew this phone call was going to a lot different than my last experience. We talked about my Tax issue and he took the time to explain everything. I learned more in the phone call we had then whole time I had to deal with the other place all I got from Optima was a run around. Joshua sent me over some paperwork to fill out and the best part is this is all being done for a faction of the price the other company was trying to charge me. I just want to tell anyone who is having a problem with the IRS call Anthem you will feel much better when you hire these guys. Again Thanks Anthem and especially Joshua for the help and taking a load off my back I know My Family is going to be okay.

It’s very overwhelming when the company you’ve dedicated 18 years to and planned to retire from closes several departments. Now, without a job and owing several thousand dollars, it was easier to place the IRS mail in a basket and basically pretending not to see it, let alone open it.
With all the companies offering such a service, I feel blessed Anthem was my first choice. I just called from the internet, no referral.
David was my first contact. He made this calm, structured, and smooth for me. Even when I finally broke out in tears.
My next contact was Shannon . AGAIN, impressed! Both were nonjudgmental, kind, understanding and with both I even was able to laugh some and laughter is how I get through hard times.
Through the process they were the only two contacts I had. I was a person not a number being passed around. Their communication skills were on point behind the scenes. You do not have to repeat your uncomfortable story over and over.
I would highly recommend Anthem to my family and friends, I feel as if I made two new friends over the phone in a difficult time.
Anthem, David and Shannon are huge assets to your company.

I had over 10k in back taxes from almost 10 years prior. There is no way I could pay the full amount. The Irs levied my bank account and sent out wage garnishment notices. I talked to anthem and they got me in non-collectible. Josh assured me that if they didn’t get the levy released he would refund me anthems fee. They did release the levy on time but some one screwed up at the bank or irs and the funds were withdrawn from my account. As Anthem promised, they refunded my fee. They did everything right on their end and it still didn’t work out right. I respect their integrity and standing by their guarantee. I highly recommend working with Josh, he’s a great guy and very dedicated to helping people, that is very evident.

I don't typically write reviews about my experiences with companies, but after working with Anthem I felt it was truly warranted. The overall experience and treatment was amazing. They truly cared in a way that you rarely come by anymore. They resolved my IRS debt, kept me informed and were always available for any questions or concerns I had. As someone who was in a bad spot and knew nothing about taxes the people at Anthem changed the game and exceeded all of my expectations. I will continue using them to avoid future issues and for anyone else who may be in a bad spot like I was I would highly recommend this business.

I was referred to Anthem Tax Services by a co-worker after I received a wage garnishment notice from the IRS and my human resources payroll department. After a divorce I was dealing with several past years of tax burden, the compounding interest and penalties were overtaking my ability to manage my finances and I was falling behind on tax payments and quickly headed towards possible personal bankruptcy.
The representative at Anthem was very professional, I worked with the same person throughout the entire process. He was able to answer all questions, and I did not feel any sales pressure. I was provided with options, I took my time to make a decision and even called another tax service for comparison. Anthem was able to reduce/consolidate and re-negotiate my tax debt. I am now able to pay my monthly bills and expect to have my tax debt repaid in the next few months.

I hired anthem tax services because of my 18,000 tax debt with the IRS and a debt of $7000 to the State. I was never getting anywhere on my payment plan, so I finally decided to find another way of resolving my problem.. You always hear horror stories of scammy tax companies and I was worried myself. Jake was great in guiding me through the whole process and understanding of my financial situation, which is a relief because most other places I called, were just pushing me to hire them. Jake was so patient and spent so much time with me that I felt comfortable and secure with my choice to hire him. After 45 days, Jake was able to lower my tax debt to $500 to the IRS and $100 to the State. I finally have the fresh start I needed. If you're hesitant to call, don't be. I'm happy I did. I am a tax preparer for a living myself but have no knowledge in tax law. I got myself into an issue where i owed a decent amount to the IRS and needed professional help. My friend referred me to Anthem Tax Services as a solution. Long story short, i hired them, they reviewed my situation thoroughly and stated they can help me.. a month into the case they found out that i had some property that was left to me by my late mother which i forgot about completely. Unfortunately this hindered Anthem Tax services ability to help me, which i understood, because i did not disclose this to them in the beginning of the case. They set me up on an affordable payment plan as a courtesy and without having to ask...they refunded me %100 of my money ! i assumed by default that they were not going to do that. I am a professional myself and when people pay you for your TIME.. it costs money. Anthem Tax Services still sent me back everything i paid them and that completely blew me away, and is also the reason i am writing this review. They are stand up people and have earned my respect. I recommend them to anyone who wants honest help.

I spoke to a few firms and honestly just got bad vibes from every aggressive telemarketer I talked to. I reached out to Anthem after seeing their commercial on TV. They took the time, explained how to settle my debt and how to fill out the tax forms (which are impossible to understand). They settled my $34,000 debt for $640.00. I will never go anywhere else for any tax related issues because Anthem actually informs and educates their clients.

I engaged ATS in 2019 to negotiate a payment plan on my behalf. They also told me they would file my 2020, 2021 and 2022 tax returns for me. After four years and $5,000 and multiple requests to see any sort of verifiable evidence that they've done something, anything on my behalf, I not only find out my returns have not been filed -- although I was ensured many times that they have -- but the IRS has flagged my 2021 return for identity fraud. ATS tells me that now I have to call the IRS and sort it out myself. They also told me that the reason those returns haven't been filed -- although I was told many times that they have -- was my fault. They've spent four years stringing me along, bouncing me from one person to the next, avoiding my attempts to communicate with them, trying to convince me they were working diligently on my behalf when I have no reason to believe they've done anything at all. So I fired them this month which immediately triggered an email from someone named Craig who said that he was requesting a currently not collectable (CNC) status for me and so for all intents and purposes my case had been resolved! It's so absurd it's comical. A CNC status means the IRS considers you still owe them money but they won't engage in collection efforts but the interest, fees, fines etc. continue to accumulate which IS NOT what I hired them for. I see from the other reviews here that they have done that many times for customers which requires nothing more than a request and a tax form be sent to the IRS. Something anyone could do themselves for the cost of a postage stamp. ATS is either incompetent or an outright fraud. I too will report them to all the appropriate agencies. Any reply they provide to my review will just be a continuation of their unethical business practices. Don't fall for it.
