strongly express how expeditiously the Anthem team worked to alleviate any concerns I may have had. Every team member has really stepped up to make sure we receive the best customer service possible. David has been especially understanding and has contacted me several times with updates and has worked extremely hard to make sure I understand the entire process and the steps required to get there. I would not hesitate to recommend this awesome Anthem team to address any tax concerns. Again, my previous review was written without me possessing critical information about our case, resulting in negative comments that I now understand were circumstantial, not related to the company or this awesome team. I truly appreciate their personal touch, which is very hard to find, which increases my trust in their abilities.

What a day after getting screwed by Optima Tax that just took my $500.00 and wanted another $5,900 dollars which I sure didn’t have just lying around. I happen to see an ad for Anthem Tax Services so after thinking about it I called and a guy named Joshua answered. Right away I knew this phone call was going to a lot different than my last experience. We talked about my Tax issue and he took the time to explain everything. I learned more in the phone call we had then whole time I had to deal with the other place all I got from Optima was a run around. Joshua sent me over some paperwork to fill out and the best part is this is all being done for a faction of the price the other company was trying to charge me. I just want to tell anyone who is having a problem with the IRS call Anthem you will feel much better when you hire these guys. Again Thanks Anthem and especially Joshua for the help and taking a load off my back I know My Family is going to be okay.

It’s very overwhelming when the company you’ve dedicated 18 years to and planned to retire from closes several departments. Now, without a job and owing several thousand dollars, it was easier to place the IRS mail in a basket and basically pretending not to see it, let alone open it.
With all the companies offering such a service, I feel blessed Anthem was my first choice. I just called from the internet, no referral.
David was my first contact. He made this calm, structured, and smooth for me. Even when I finally broke out in tears.
My next contact was Shannon . AGAIN, impressed! Both were nonjudgmental, kind, understanding and with both I even was able to laugh some and laughter is how I get through hard times.
Through the process they were the only two contacts I had. I was a person not a number being passed around. Their communication skills were on point behind the scenes. You do not have to repeat your uncomfortable story over and over.
I would highly recommend Anthem to my family and friends, I feel as if I made two new friends over the phone in a difficult time.
Anthem, David and Shannon are huge assets to your company.

I had over 10k in back taxes from almost 10 years prior. There is no way I could pay the full amount. The Irs levied my bank account and sent out wage garnishment notices. I talked to anthem and they got me in non-collectible. Josh assured me that if they didn’t get the levy released he would refund me anthems fee. They did release the levy on time but some one screwed up at the bank or irs and the funds were withdrawn from my account. As Anthem promised, they refunded my fee. They did everything right on their end and it still didn’t work out right. I respect their integrity and standing by their guarantee. I highly recommend working with Josh, he’s a great guy and very dedicated to helping people, that is very evident.

I don't typically write reviews about my experiences with companies, but after working with Anthem I felt it was truly warranted. The overall experience and treatment was amazing. They truly cared in a way that you rarely come by anymore. They resolved my IRS debt, kept me informed and were always available for any questions or concerns I had. As someone who was in a bad spot and knew nothing about taxes the people at Anthem changed the game and exceeded all of my expectations. I will continue using them to avoid future issues and for anyone else who may be in a bad spot like I was I would highly recommend this business.

I was referred to Anthem Tax Services by a co-worker after I received a wage garnishment notice from the IRS and my human resources payroll department. After a divorce I was dealing with several past years of tax burden, the compounding interest and penalties were overtaking my ability to manage my finances and I was falling behind on tax payments and quickly headed towards possible personal bankruptcy.
The representative at Anthem was very professional, I worked with the same person throughout the entire process. He was able to answer all questions, and I did not feel any sales pressure. I was provided with options, I took my time to make a decision and even called another tax service for comparison. Anthem was able to reduce/consolidate and re-negotiate my tax debt. I am now able to pay my monthly bills and expect to have my tax debt repaid in the next few months.

I hired anthem tax services because of my 18,000 tax debt with the IRS and a debt of $7000 to the State. I was never getting anywhere on my payment plan, so I finally decided to find another way of resolving my problem.. You always hear horror stories of scammy tax companies and I was worried myself. Jake was great in guiding me through the whole process and understanding of my financial situation, which is a relief because most other places I called, were just pushing me to hire them. Jake was so patient and spent so much time with me that I felt comfortable and secure with my choice to hire him. After 45 days, Jake was able to lower my tax debt to $500 to the IRS and $100 to the State. I finally have the fresh start I needed. If you're hesitant to call, don't be. I'm happy I did. I am a tax preparer for a living myself but have no knowledge in tax law. I got myself into an issue where i owed a decent amount to the IRS and needed professional help. My friend referred me to Anthem Tax Services as a solution. Long story short, i hired them, they reviewed my situation thoroughly and stated they can help me.. a month into the case they found out that i had some property that was left to me by my late mother which i forgot about completely. Unfortunately this hindered Anthem Tax services ability to help me, which i understood, because i did not disclose this to them in the beginning of the case. They set me up on an affordable payment plan as a courtesy and without having to ask...they refunded me %100 of my money ! i assumed by default that they were not going to do that. I am a professional myself and when people pay you for your TIME.. it costs money. Anthem Tax Services still sent me back everything i paid them and that completely blew me away, and is also the reason i am writing this review. They are stand up people and have earned my respect. I recommend them to anyone who wants honest help.

As if leaving his wife and children for another woman wasn't bad enough, my ex-husband left me with a HUGE Tax Bill. I was freaking out and didn't know where to turn. I spoke to a few firms and honestly just got bad vibes from every aggressive telemarketer I talked to. I reached out to Anthem after seeing their commercial on TV. They took the time, explained how to settle my debt and how to fill out the tax forms (which are impossible to understand). They settled my $34,000 debt for $640.00. I will never go anywhere else for any tax related issues because Anthem actually informs and educates their clients.

STAY AWAY — ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE
I hired Anthem Tax in 2018 to resolve an IRS balance of $24,000. I was promised the issue would be handled and resolved within six months. Instead, seven years later, my tax debt has ballooned to $65,000, and I now have an IRS lien on my property. Anthem Tax did not resolve anything — they made everything dramatically worse.
This company lied, misled, delayed, and neglected my case from start to finish. I was assigned an “attorney” who, as far as I can tell, did not actually exist. Communication was almost nonexistent. When I asked for updates, they would demand yet another document — which I provided within 24 hours — and then completely ignore me for another six months. This cycle repeated for years.
For two full years, nothing was done. COVID became their excuse to do absolutely nothing, while interest and penalties continued to pile up. No urgency. No accountability. No results. Clearly, no one cared.
In 2022, after I posted publicly about my experience, Anthem Tax responded not by fixing the problem — but by hiring Todd L., CEO of Reputation MD, to try to clean up their image and pressure me into removing my reviews. I cooperated because my only goal was to finally resolve my tax debt.
I was told my account was in CNC (Currently Not Collectible). What I was not told was that the IRS was preparing to place a lien on my home. I worked with Todd for a full year. No payment plan was ever established. Nothing was resolved. I was assured everything was “all set,” with the last communication in March 2023.
Fast forward to 2024 — I applied to refinance my home and discovered, for the first time, that a federal tax lien had been filed against my property.
In short:
I trusted Anthem Tax. That trust was a huge mistake.
They were incompetent, dishonest, and negligent. They took my money, made big promises, and did nothing while my situation spiraled out of control. I am now forced to hire yet another attorney to undo the damage they caused.
At this point, I would have been far better off handling the IRS myself.
It should be illegal for a company to take a client’s money, make guarantees, ignore the case for years, and leave the client in a far worse position than when they started.
If I could sue them for malpractice, I would.
Do not trust Anthem Tax.

It was a fine company. They were able to help with my IRS needs. However, because of the price of the service and the reviews, I do believe I expected more than what was provided. For someone struggling financially or owing less than 15K, I would not recommend this option.

I hadn't filed my taxes in over 10 years. I called around and got pricing from a handful of companies. Adam G at Anthem Tax Services was the only person that mentioned the IRS only requires you to do the last 6 years and just to be safe he called them on their priority line and confirmed saving me tons of money and a big headache!

My husband and I had a very complicated tax matter. We called Anthem Tax and luckily got Adam Gurr as our specialist. He was able to call the IRS through their direct line and pinpoint our exact problem, and come up with a way to resolve it for good. Couldn't thank him enough!

Anthem Tax thank you , phenomenal I owed over a hundred and thirteen thousand. Anthem tax resolved my issue and ended paying only $3,400 . I personally like to thank Patty C and Adam L and the Anthem Tax Company . At the time I didn’t know who to turn to. Shopped around for IRS tax issues and fortunately chose Anthem. The innitial person (Mollie) was tremendous guiding me thru my inept computer savy. And Anthem's attornry assigned to my case was direct and to the point. Needless to say everything they attempted to resolve issues with the IRS on my behalf couldnt have turned out better. They never gaurenteed the end result but their due diligence, approach was worth every dollar I paid. I strongly reccomend Anthem if you want old time honesty and work ethic !!

I owed well over a hundred thousand... i was successful in the past but my illness unfortunately forced me out of my business. I now had to deal with this issue, and anthem was the champion in this case. It's resolved now and an easy 100 dollar payment... i mean... i cant be more thrilled.

Handled the state tax authority with a very expert touch. They wanted to actually shutter my business for unpaid sales and use tax. Being that the state is super bored, they focused on me so hard and went through my books so harshly. This wasn't a fun process... anthem fortunately stopped them mid examination and got them under control and made them respect the law. They were doing things that were highly unethical to me and borderline illegal. Anthem made them respect me, and i kept my business.

Handled our families tax audit. We hadn't been audited ever in our lives so this was a first. The auditor was very mean to us, so we retained counsel. Anthem took care of them like it was nothing. We didn't have to speak to that witch.... she was so vile, and she wanted to just milk every penny out of us... Anthem took the broom from her and sent her packing... im very thankful these people exist. almost a year of fighting with them, finally its over.

Overall they satisfied my families tax needs. I haven't used a lawfirm/attorney for much of anything in my life so this was a true first experience. I found them to be thoughtful, punctual and honest. The most important thing for me is even if its a bad thing or bad news, i want to know upfront ... they were like that. One part of the case took a negative turn, due to my previous accountant. Fortunately they were able to amend his terrible work, and place the blame on him (he is since in jail). So they squared it up with the government... and were good now.

I enlisted Anthem Tax Services with respect with my IRS due of about $50k. Wasn't sure what to expect as a resolution. My case dragged out for over two years only because IRS takes forever to move the process along. But in the end, I was astonished to receive news that the entire balance due of $50 K was deemed as uncollectible. The entire balance was wiped clean. I cannot thank the pros at ATS enough. They did an outstanding job and in particular I would like thank Victor Giron who stood with me every step of the way. Fantastic work by Victor and the ATS team.

What is there to say really, down and out i hit these people up. I tried other firms, i lose thousands to them, i dont have a lot of money. i owed the government a lot, not hundreds of thousands but close. I dont have that money. other firms tried to put me on a payment plan? WHY? i barely survive. these guys understood... fixed it .. now i pay nothing. im destitute, but i'd of been on the street if the IRS had gotten what they said they were entitled to. Anthem protected me.

As a single mom there is a lot on my shoulders when it comes to responsibility. The tax man just exacerbated my stress. Long nights are the norm, even without a large tax issue. Trust is big for me, as i can't see or touch these people when theyre working on the issue. 2 years later, they quelled my fears and kept me calm and sane through this very stressful process. 5 stars because it was worth the funds. Some would call expensive 10k i would call it 20k. But i'd call 130k in debt saved worth the money. i was nearly in tears... i gave them a large amount of money in my eyes... i don't make that much $ i paid it in payments on a loan. But.... to see the results brought me to tears. I feel it was finally worth it.
