The Good

  • Full-Service Solar Installation
  • High-Quality Solar Equipment
  • Awards and Certifications
  • 25-Year Extended Warranty
  • Loanpal Partnership
  • Charitable Giving

Full-Service Solar Installation

Titan Solar Power conducts a five-step solar panel installation process to help homeowners maximize their savings:

  • Initial survey and consultation — During the initial survey, solar cell experts will evaluate the home’s current energy needs and costs, then design a customized system to help homeowners produce as much solar energy as their budgets and roof size will allow.
  • Permit pulling — Titan Solar Power will pull all necessary permits with the city, the HOA, and any other authority to ensure every solar installation is up to code.
  • Panel installation — Titan’s solar experts will implement the design and mount the solar panel system and inverter(s) to industry requirements (can take between 1 and 5 days).
  • Final inspection — Once the system is in place, the city or country will conduct a final inspection. Customers should note that this process can take a few weeks to complete.
  • Grid connection — after the system passes inspection, Titan Solar Power will coordinate with the utility company to ensure the solar array meets all interconnection rules. Customers can start saving money the minute the system gets plugged into the power grid.

High-Quality Solar Equipment

Titan Solar Power prides itself on the quality of solar panel and solar inverter equipment it uses for its residential solar arrays. In addition to LG solar panels and the LG Chem solar backup battery, Titan has also formed a partnership with a leading solar panel manufacturer in Silfab. This partnership has made Titan Solar Power one of the few solar installers in business that sells privately labelled solar panels. Titan customers can rest assured knowing that a Titan solar panel is one of the top solar panels made today.

As for the solar installer’s inverter selection, the company primarily installs SolarEdge inverters, which are considered the industry leader in microinverter technology. New SolarEdge models report energy transfer at 99 percent energy efficiency.

The company also installs the Generac PWRCell solar generator as an additional service. Like the LG Chem battery, this device stores excess solar power that can be used at night, or in the event of a power outage or other disturbance.

All Titan Solar Power equipment comes with a 25-year warranty.

Awards and Certifications

As mentioned above, Titan Solar Power was identified as one of Inc.’s 5,000 fastest growing companies in 2018. The company has also received recognition within the solar industry by Solar Power World Magazine. From 2016 — only three years after its founding — to 2029, Titan Solar Power was named a “Top 500 Solar Contractor,” cracking the top 50 the last three out of those four years. Companies that make this list, have demonstrated their ability to successfully install a significant amount of solar power within their service area. As of 2019, Titan solar power has installed more than 220,00 kilowatts of solar energy across seven states in the county, an impressive feat by such a young company.

Titan Solar Power also employs solar professionals who have received their NABCEP certification. The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners is an organization widely regarded in the solar industry as a gatekeeper for industry best practices, installation and professionalism standards, and technological literacy.

25-Year Extended Warranty

Though few details are mentioned on the company website, Titan Solar Power does appear to offer a 25-year extended warranty to customers through its authorized partner program. More information about what’s covered under this warranty should be disclosed in order for customers to have an accurate idea of how the company will support them post-installation.

Loanpal Partnership

In addition to cash purchase, Titan Solar Power gives customers the option to finance their solar panel system through the company’s partnership with Loanpal, a third-party financier that specializes in solar loans. Loanpal boasts high approval rates, fast financing, and loan amounts of up to $100,000.

Charitable Giving

As part of its deal program, Titan dedicates a portion of all sales to a number of charitable organizations:

  • Phoenix Children’s Hospital
  • Lupus Foundation of America
  • Feed My Starving Children
  • Mercy Ships
  • Compassion International
  • Givepower
  • And more

The Bad

  • No Lease or PPA Financing
  • Insufficient Customer Reviews

No Lease or PPA Financing

While both purchase and loan options are available through Titan Solar Power, solar lease and power purchase agreement options do not appear to be. And considering the broad service area the company covers, one would hope that more financing options would be available to help customers go solar. Solar leases and PPAs, while not qualifying customers for the federal solar tax credit or a path to ownership, often do allow them to take advantage of solar power and save money while doing so.

Insufficient Customer Reviews

Titan Solar Power's awards and certifications are certainly impressive; however, verified Titan Solar Power reviews from actual customers would help to bolster the company’s reputation in the eyes of prospective buyers.

gavel

The Bottom Line

In a relatively short amount to time, Titan Solar Power has done an impressive amount of solar installation work across the country. With high-efficiency solar equipment and flexible loan options, the company is working hard to make a quality solar power system accessible to its customers. On these merits alone, the company is worth looking into and seeking a free quote from. That said, the company lags behind top solar companies in the industry in terms of its available financing options as well as a large swath of verified customer reviews.

Description of Complaint: Date of Transaction- Date of instillation was 5/3/21, but did not install back up battery. Amount of money I paid- financed for 66,883.04 What the business committed to installing a solar system that would provide the needs of my house hold for at least 24 hours without grid power or 3-5 days. There was no mention of the battery on the final certificate of completion even though we have several emails from Titan telling us the battery was on back order. They were not supposed take payment until after the system was completed. They started taking payments before they even turned the system on and it is still not completed. Whether or not the business tried to resolve the problem- No! minimal usage. It has been over a year since instillation and the back up battery has not been installed yet. We get no response when trying to get our issue resolved. The tax rebate that they promised was not legitimate. There was a $1000.00 home efficiency charge that no one can explain to me what that is for. There is a 425.00 derating factor that no can explain what that is. When the power goes out the system is inoperable without the back up battery, even on a sunny day. The utility savings that were promised on our utility bill have only lived up to their promise the last 3 months of the 15 months that it has been installed. When having my plans reviled by a third party, it was brought to my attention that there was no provisions made for the battery to be installed on my system. If I could give less than 1 star, I would!

You ask specific questions that Titan Solar doesn’t even fit into. Example, signed the contract and it took 10 months for installation. The panels worked for 8.5 months but stopped in September 2022 and have been trying to get them fixed since than. Can’t get them to call back after NUMEROUS voice mail messages. We’ve hired an attorney at this point. You want a real review go look at their Better Business Bureau reviews, they are at HIGH ALERT status for such poor service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

As of 9/4/2022, Solar panels have stopped working. Cooler weather and A/C not running as much but, my electric use is similar to what it was before the solar. Added a pic., 5 PM full sun on the panels and only getting 1.6 Kw. 8/26, I still have a trench open ( looks as I will have to fill it in), hole and poor repair to my soffit from electrical work, insulation messed up in the attic and they still owe me 750.00 for my sprinkler company. My original cost was 45700.00 but, my sales person informed me that Generac Power Cells come with a generator for 2022. I have text, you can go to Generac site and see they come with a generator and paid another 28000.00 for it. Titan is saying I don't get a generator. The power cell can be bought for 4000.00 w/o generator by a consumer so, thats 24000.00 extra, thats the cost and price for insulation for both items. Well, Titan was supposed to call Fri 8/25 and no call. Tried calling the 2 contact numbers and go to voice mail. I can never get a hold of someone. All Titan cares about is getting your money and they then ignore you. 8/15,0n 8/03/2022 Titan crew took the pics for the electric company that have to be sent in for approval to turn on solar. As of 8/15/ 2022, they have not sent the pics in. This company is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!So on 8/5/2022 Titan again no communication. They sent a crew out to inspect the dry wall they had to cut out to repair the wiring they messed up. My wife called me at work and asked if I knew they were coming out today and as usual, no calls or emails . My wife has COVID and was not feeling well so, they left. Titan will never change. No communication w/ customers or their employees. So, 8/1/2022 received a call from my wife and the new crew out today said that the system was installed wrong for what we are supposed to have. I am supposed to have solar and a Generac power cell w/ a generator that runs the whole house if we loose power or to many cloudy days or not enough power was generated on day 1 or 2 of the new month. See the following for the other horrible experiences. See my wife's review w/ pics. ( live in a COOP so, they start at zero on day 1) Don't walk, RUN from this company!!! Horrible experience!! Do not use!! I should of trusted my gut instinct after reading their reviews but, my salesman informed me that there would be no issues. So wrong!! Problems since day 1!! Very poor communication between company and consumer. Titan even has poor communication with the crews they are sending. It's sad that the crew has to ask the customer on what is being done. The company does not look at the photos the consumer and the surveyor submit and even when the consumer says there is a propane line. The crew could not finish on the first day because of seeing the propane line that was mentioned months before. They were supposed to start in June and they did not even ask for an extension from Tri County ( The sad thing is, I had to point out my contract w/ Tri County was going to be cancelled). They have destroyed my sprinklers and they are doing nothing about it. They screwed up the outlets to the garage and out side ( very slow on repairing). They have destroyed my yard and have not been at my house since 7/8/2022. I have not heard when the job will be done. They also informed my sales person that they will not be installing the generator that is in the contract. I had 3 neighbors who really like the system I was getting but, after seeing and hearing how horrible this has been going, they will not even talk w/ my sales person. I was informed by 2 of my neighbors , that another company that came out to talk with them are using Titan's reviews and my circumstance to show why they should not use Titan.

The initial phase of installation started in 2021. Finally, in February 2022, panels were installed. In July 2022, the inverter failed. A new inverter was finally installed in September and failed immediately. We have been paying for not only the unworking panels since July, but also power from Georgia Power. There are no maintenance teams in all of Georgia. $700/mo is too much to pay for energy and faulty system with no repair date in sight. If I had it to do over, I would stay away from Titan in GA until they can hire a maintenance team for my area. Their contract and sales pitch says that they’ll respond quickly to repair under a 25 year warranty. The down-time was supposed to be reimbursed in eventful credits. To date, nothing has been resolved. In addition, getting through to the team to report has been next to impossible. Prepare for 30 minute to one and a half hour hold times for their service line.

Working with Titan Solar for the installation and maintenance of my solar panel system has been an absolutely horrendous experience. The permitting process was handled in a cookie-cutter fashion, which left my process in limbo because Titan was waiting for permits to clear that my county doesn't actually perform. I contacted Titan multiple times to speak with their permit department, only to be told I had to leave a message because they were always unavailable (I never received a call back). After I manually worked to clear the remaining hurdles of the permit process I got clearance to turn on my system, only to immediately be hit with a series of errors on my system. When I scheduled a service technician visit the technician never called and never showed. The only recourse offered by Titan was to simply call again tomorrow and reschedule. This is the worst excuse for a company I've ever had the displeasure of working with, and would recommend any individual looking to install solar to avoid this company at all costs.

Titan Solar has taken advantage of my military veteran, senior father by convincing him he needs solar panels on his home. His home has not had central heat and air for the past 10 years. He uses 3 window units in the 3 rooms he "lives" in. When you walk up to the home you can see 1 of ac units and when you enter you see he is also a hoarder. His electric bill is set to $85 per month and he usually gets a credit at the end of the year, he does not need panels! My fathers short term memory is gone and has multiple health issues that I have been working with him on since March 2022. Titan sold him the panels in January 2022. When I found out about the panels in march 2022 I began reaching out to Titan. I have sent Titan Solar Power emails requesting a call and for them to remove the panels due to his dementia with no response. I have reached out to the BBB only to get that if he was not diagnosed before he signed the papers they are not at fault. There is no diagnosis as it is a symptom not a disease. I have requested all signed documents and still have yet get a response. I have a power of attorney to speak on my dad's behalf and he also understands things but his short term is pretty bad so it is hard from day to day. This company should be ashamed on what they have done and now I found out they have a financial statement against his home. I also found they are charging him $40.99 per month, not sure for what and they wont talk to me. I have tried to get legal help but this is not a case that will make an attorney any money and they say it will cost us thousands to fight! This company is after the next dollar and does not care who they get it from!

The WORST solar company on the planet. They have done everything wrong in my situation. First of all my roof leaked and the took FOREVER to fix. This is the least of the problem though. My panels are less then a year old and have NOT produced 1kw of power since the beginning of July. I was told the invertor was bad and would be replaced promptly. Fast forward ahead till today and September is now over. I still have no clue when the invertor will be fixed. I was contacted 3 weeks ago and had an appointment for the following Friday to get my new invertor installed. Nobody came and nobody called with an explanation. I have waited on hold 5 separate times since then and was on hold 1.5-3.5 hrs each time. I get the same story..."The tech left no notes and I cannot get ahold of anyone right now to check. We will give you a call as soon as we find out what happened." Now mind this info comes after another 10-15 mins on hold each time. Now I understand things do happen. When things happen it needs to be COMMUNICATED and a resolution needs to be agreed upon. I am getting nowhere with this and I have a $46,000 set of boat anchors on my roof. I need some sort of compensation for the $1000 in electric bills I have payed. At this point I just want them to come take this garbage off my roof. I will be contacting the BBB and letting them know about this sham of a company. All this could be avoided with simple COMMUNICATION. Google review needs to add negative stars because this company deserves -5. 10/18 UPDATE: Been lied to 3 more times about a technician coming and my solar system is still not working. It has now been 4 months with ZERO solar production. In this time I spent just under $1400 in electric bills and $868 in solar payments. I am going to reiterate on this again...I NEED SOME COMPENSATION! Please have a top level manager get in touch with me ASAP! The way this company does business is DISGRACEFUL at best! I will update this review each and every week until I get the service I deserve!

This is a terrible company! My inverter went out in Jul and there is no estimate repair date. I contacted Titan and they told me to contact Solar Edge. Why do I have to contact Solar Edge for a new inverter when it’s Titan’s responsibility to repair my system. Once a week, I block out 2-3 hrs to contact both Titan and Solar Edge. Every week, same run around. I’m paying an estimated $700 a month to my utility company and solar. This is completely unacceptable. I feel like I was robbed! My wife and I are retired military members with 100% service connected disabilities! We keep the ac off during the burning hot summer just to keep the utility bill from skyrocketing. This poses a health concern for us as we cannot afford to pay this amount of money every month since the solar is inoperable. We are now seeking legal assistance as this is a breach of contract. I’ve contacted the financial institution Titan used to finance the panels and questioned them about their relationship with Titan because this whole operation seems predatory! The bank contacted Titan on my behalf but no one from Titan followed up with me like the bank stated they would. So legal action and BBB complaint is now our course of action with Titan. I highly advised everyone to use another company.

One of the worst scams, I was told very different than what I’m experiencing with this company, they are charging me for the panels and they aren’t even working yet! I’m still paying for my electricity bill and my representative won’t answer my calls he’s “very busy” so I’m paying for some thing that’s not even working. Please save yourselves a headache and don’t deal with this company, I wish I would have listen to the reviews, but my representative basically lied to me and turned many things around, I was and feel robbed!

I am totally disappointed with Titan Solar Power, the Customer Support does not work, in fact never worked. Since the PTO (Permit to Operate), the solar panel system do not generate 20% of the project proposed. The Mobile app says were generated 2.2MWh and Duke report the grid only received 800KWh. Were opened several requests of support, but unfortunately nobody care about customers. I regret waste US$70,000.00 with Titan Solar Power

I used to be a solar broker with Titan. With out a doubt the WORST solar provider in industry! Unprofessional as they never complete a project on time and would leave my customers waiting months for the project to be completed after the solar is on the roof. They are a borderline scam in California as once the solar is on the roof the customer can't cancel, then they take 90-120 days to complete the job leaving the customer with no solar and the broker with not answers. Every install has damage on to the customers roof, which then takes 30-60 days for them to come out at repair.

I purchased the system in January 2021. It was to be installed in March. I have had the Solar Panels but not the batteries so the system does not work. Months ago I was finally given a battery installation dates of 9/12 and 13. No one called and nothing happened. When I enquired they told me that there was no one in the area and they would reschedule when thy hade someone in our area. My salesman told me they would trim the tree limbs above my roof. My bad I didn't read the contract closely and it clearly says they will not trim the tree limbs. When I complained to my salesman he said he was fired and cold not comment. When I tried to get a new salesman assigned I was told that Sales are done by an independent contracted sales company. When I contacted the company they told me that they also sub contracted out Titan's sales. They guy I would be assigned would be two layers from the Company and of no help. To be continued,

Four years of continuous problems, starting with the sales people. A system that was scheduled for install February 2019 was installed November 2019 but not actually turned on until June 2020. You can schedule a service technician but first you have to either wait on hold for an hour or more, don't leave a message because they won't call you back, you can email the service department from their website and you can wait forever. The electricity bill continues to rise, inverter alerts continue to happen daily, we're on-time on our loan payments and yet Titan Solar Power can't figure out how to provide a service to their customers. Horrible company. Please stay away from Titan Solar Power. They appear to care but do not. You think they are interested in your concerns by providing you emails and phone numbers and yet no one answers the calls and they don't return the emails. Please choose another solar panel company!

Worst solar company, at least as far as the sales personal. David W, which isn’t even his real name, was as shady as a time share sales person. He said throughout the presentation that he “doesn’t work for a specific solar company” and he “gets paid a salary through the state”. Then when Titan popped up on the documentation he said if we look it up ignore the reviews? Like what? He also was incapable of answering basic solar questions and tried to charge us almost $40,000 more than any other company because he had seen we were approved for $100,000 total for the loan. He then tried to say that we had no cancel rights and if we tried we would have to pay a penalty; as we were reading the cancellation paperwork that said there was no penalty. Titan is a terrible company that clearly practices unethical sales tactics. STAY AWAY

The companies attention to its customers is absolutely abysmal! They began installation of my system in February. It took them over a month to complete the installation. At the end of March, they sent me an email telling me that the installation was now complete, and they were just awaiting inspections from the city and the power company. After several weeks, I sent them emails asking them why the inspections were not being scheduled. Over the next several months, I would email them repeatedly, and generally not get a response. On the rare occasions that they would respond, I was told that they were in the process of scheduling an inspection, and that it would occur shortly. I could go on and on about the frustrations I’ve have had with his company, but suffice it to say that it is now the middle of August, and the inspections have still not occurred. I’ve even gone so far as to threaten a lawsuit, and to Make a complaint to my states office of professional licensing. I don’t know if they are lazy or just incompetent, But I would never advise anybody to do business with this company. They are not honest!

After a month of panels not working I contacted the company that sold them to me Sun Solar Solutions.. I was informed that they no longer monitor my system and all access was removed by Titan Solar and they are who will monitor and maintain my system. I called Titan and was informed that they do not monitor, but the recording when on hold does say Titan DOES provide system monitoring .... Just adds to what already shows here on reviews as bad customer service. If you MONITOR why was I NOT notified that my system went into fault and stopped producing power. This has been the most expensive mistake I have ever made, and is very frustrating.. Would not recommend

The worst service I have received in my life. They told us that by installing the panels we would not have to pay an extra electricity bill. We would only pay for the solar panels that would cover our service. We have been paying electricity plus the bill for solar panels for months. We spent 1 month for someone to attend to our complaint. But his answer was that we would have to pay more to install more solar panels (when they had told us that the solar panels we had were enough to cover the energy we needed in our home). There was no help. They are not interested in helping the customer. They lie and promise things that are not true, then pass the responsibilities from company to company. The worst thing is that he told us that if we wanted something different, that we go legal and get lawyers and they hung up the phone on us. So let's get to the legal part now. Don't fall into this trap.

Worst company I ever dealt with. Took them 6 months to come out then they put panels where they were not suppose too cause they could not read their own diagram then battery does not work and hasn't since it was installed 6 months ago and they just continually make excuses. Monitoring system does not work and hasn't since it was hooked up and they blame the battery yet systems without battery's have same monitoring system. They do not respond for weeks at a time simply to say they are waiting on a part. It's been one year since I signed up and still don't have a working system. I have many friends with systems from other companies and none have Reese problems

In the 16 months of having the system the inverter has gone bad twice. They blame the manufacturer and don't stand behind the product they install. They have 24 hours to order parts I was told even though 5 days passed. In the fine print of the "contract" you sign I was told they have two weeks to send someone out to repair the solar panels, inverter, ect. When it goes over they are unable to compensate the electric you use because of non working and faulty equipment.

Waste of money if you ask me. I was told by a third party sales rep I would only be paying a estimated $10 to $20 dollars a month for electricity and then the payment for the financing of the panels. I’m currently paying $200 + a month for electricity and still have to pay for panels on top of that. I spoke with SRP and they said the panels are barley doing anything and only supplying about 1 hour of energy to my house a day. This is a SCAM.

Predatory marketing practices, lies, misinformation, incompetence. The lie: 1. Titan said I wasn't going to have to pay for the system until it was installed but they started billing me for the system when the installation was half way done. 2. I asked for a solar system that would allow me to run the AC in the event that the Texas power grid fails. The system that I was sold by the sales team is not able to do this according to the electrician responsible for installing the battery systems. Predatory Marketing practices: Installation date for the panels was moved up and was completed before I was told about the battery situation. Now that the panels are on the house, I'm no longer able to cancel the installation. This means that I either am stuck with an installation that won't do what I asked, or am forced to pay more money to get more batteries so that the AC unit can be powered. Incompetence: The electrician said that I need a whole home backup system to keep the AC powered ( which is what I asked for ) but in trying to communicate this to several different people at Titan, they have no idea what that means. Initially they thought that the main panel upgrade was what I was complaining about and informed me that it was already scheduled. No, the MPU and a battery are not the same thing. They made no effort to find a correct answer to my issue. They never reached out to me with any answers for my concerns. Despite me repeating the problem with the installation several times I had to be the one that initiated contact every single time ( with the exception of when I filed a BBB complaint and they got the answer to that wrong too). One person even went so far as to say that there is not a battery in existence that can power an AC unit and that it would take 5 or 6 of them to do it. This is false. Tesla has clear public facing documentation for AC units that can be powered by a single powerwall with some installations needing 2. Lennox also has tailor made installations for making sure that AC units remained powered in the event that the grid fails.

Bought my system in August of last year. Salesman said it takes about 4 months to install, get inspections and the system up and running. It is now April of 2022 and I’m still waiting. The salesman also said they pay referral bonus of 1000$ to referral that buys the system from them. I referred my boss who purchased the system and I’m still waiting for my bonus. Made numerous contact with the salesman who just kept telling me a few more weeks and when she gets her solar installed. She had her panels installed over 2 months ago and I’m still waiting. He also lied about the tax credits which said was an amount 3x the credit the government gives over 3 years. Was also told that I would get 2 months of solar before I started paying on my loan. My next payment with be my 4th payment and still no solar. This company is a ripoff to say the least!

4 years and 3 inverter failures, now a 3g communication card is out of date and I should pay $500 to replace it when the installer told us that card was old even when it was installed? Customer service is the worst. You sit on hold for hours only to be told the 1 person you can help you is out of the office. Ridiculous.

One star is too generous. I’ve never dealt with a worse company than Titan. Over a year since I’ve signed the contract and I’m not even up and running yet. The only thing they are proficient at is lying, blaming others and ignoring their customers.

Titan Solar Power is a scam and not able to finish out projects. Titan likes to take advantage of the elderly and completely refuses to make things right. Do not do business with them. THEY WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE PROJECT UNFINISHED.

Don't do solar!!! At least from my experience its a waste of money. I had a system 1.5 times bigger than what i supposedly needed for my house installed. I asked for additional panels to be put on my house to help with knocking the electric bill out all together . But I am still paying the same price for my electric bills as i was a year ago without solar. so that's 150-250 for electricity and 200 a month for the panels. how is this supposed to help us save money.

Titan Solar Power does NOT know what they’re doing! Installed the solar panels, and everything seemed ok outside of not following Burbank’s requirements which required a revision of AC/DC, outlined on Burbank’s website. First inspection was scheduled for February 9th from 7-9 am. At 3:30 pm, I called and emailed Jessica with no response. A few hours later, I received an email stating inspection had been moved to February 10th, but Jessica is in Arizona training, so she cannot make it. A few days later, I received a call from Sara to reschedule, as she outlined their customer service policy and will always call me. Inspection with the city happened on Friday, February 25th. Titan Solar FAILED the Inspection but did not communicate this to us. He knocked on our door to say he was leaving and NOTHING! (I was at a DR. appointment, or I would have asked) Texted Sara the next day asking if we passed and the next steps. No Response. Call her today (March e2nd 2022) and left a voicemail. I called my Sales rep, JACK, which is great at answering his phone and returning calls. He stated he checked this morning and found it; Titan had FAILED the inspection. I asked why Titan would not have told up when he knocked on the door, but Jack could not answer. The first payment on the Solar system is due in March 2022, and Titan Solar Power cannot pass inspections! From reading the reviews, Tital Solar always says – Call us, and we will handle it quickly. Why don’t you answer your phones or emails when you’ve FAILED inspection? Why do you NOT communicate to the homeowner that you FAILED the inspection? Why am I writing this review after you’ve been paid for the installation but cannot PASS Inspections? Bottom line: USE ANOTHER INSTALLATION COMPANY. DO NOT USE Titan Solar Power.

Unprofessional liars. I regret every day choosing this company. They are incompetent, unprofessional and they offer no customer service. After having solar panels and inverter installed and being connected to the grid of the local electric company, I have been chasing my tail calling Titan Solar Power to have the system up and running. When you call their customer service you talk 99% of the time to unprofessional, unschooled and incompetent people. Every single one of them will tel, you a different story. The customer service representatives are just happy to get rid of the customer and tell them that everything is fine and that, yes, you are using solar energy. If you are lucky enough you speak to a representative who actually knows what (s)he is talking about, they will tell you that, actually, you are not using solar energy yet, because your inverter is defective. Oops! They installed a defective inverter and they did not even care to check it out before ending the installation. Nice! If you call customer service again, they will even tell you that your system is not turned on, although you had called them after being connected to the grid and asked them to walk you through the process of turning the system on. And they assured you that your system was up and running. Do not ask why you see flashing lights on the devices they installed. ‘Ideally” (I am quoting the word choice of a customer service rep) the green light should be solid. Do not even hope to be able to talk to a supervisor. They are mysterious beings, if they exist at all. They cannot be reached and the agent is not allowed to reveal their name, phone number or email address. They are not allowed to divulge the secret, but the supervisor will call you back and they will follow up with the supervisor to make sure you get a phone call. Good luck with that. I am still waiting on a call from a supervisor and I am not holding my breath. A month after being connected to the grid, I am still happily paying my regular electricity bill to my local company. I wish I could give this company zero stars. Do yourself a favor and go with a more serious and competent company.

The sales person is very evasive about providing the true facts and hid the fact that you still receive a bill from your power company. From the signing of the contract to installation was 7-8 weeks. There were several problems with installation the the town electrical inspector failed them three times. The fourth time he cam back it was finally passed. The put a hole into my house to the inside electrical box. (Putting a hole in my new siding) They left the loose wires inside the box which was not needed to run the system . This was one reason the inspector failed them. They did come back and remove the wires and patch the hole. I asked them to replace that piece of siding and they did. It has been 6 weeks since the inspection passed and I still am not on solar power. I called my local electric company and they said the solar company was notified on 3 weeks ago to turn the system on. When I spoke to Titan Power they said the electrical company had not yet replaced the meter. But the new meter had been put on the house two months ago. Their customer service rep argued with me that it was not installed on my house. I told her I was home and watched them install it. She had her coordinator call the electric company and two hours later I received a message with instructions how to turn the power on. I followed the vague instructions and did not get the results of a green and blue blinking light. I called them and the gave a window of this morning. The service worker called to let me know of an inverter emergency at another residence. I guess they don't care that I already made two payments on the system that is no running and I am also paying my electric bill at the same time.

Total lack of customer service, not only the Orlando office, the office in Mesa. Simply put, leave Titan off your solar plans.

Absolutely horrendous experience. I sadly made an error in not using my original solar installer to add 7 new panels. This company is an unorganized disaster. 2 weeks into having “permission to operate” my critter guards are still not installed and the inverters aren’t reporting correctly to my monitoring co. It’s been issue after issue, rescheduling, showing up to install without the correct “parts”. The list of utter BS just continues. Just a complete disaster. Avoid Titan at all costs.

3 months after installation and no solar power. It turns out this is common with Titan. Plus they are more expensive than any of their competitors. This company is a total scam.
