I had taken quotes from multiple solar companies in 2021 including Tesla. Tesla was the only competitive on price, however I chose Sunny Energy because of two reasons 1. Tesla had mandated Powerwall for a brief period of time in 2021. 2. Checked out the google reviews and Sunny Energy was one of the local companies with best reviews So I took chance. The overall process was very good and the entire Sunny Energy team was very supportive and updated me the progress. Now that I have Sunny Energy Panels for around 18 months and with equivalent solar panels with neighbors from other Solar Companies, I would rate Sunny Energy as the best. Although I do not have Powerwall, my energy bill is less than an equivalent house with other Solar companies with Powerwall. I did a detailed calculation of energy saving and can say that I have saved on average 1200-1500$ in electric bill for an year I would recommend Sunny Energy to everyone

An amazing company! It has been an absolute pleasure working with Sunny Energy LLC for our solar needs. They were very helpful and supportive explaining everything along the way. Sunny Energy is the one to choose when going solar, Big shout out to Matthew T, from the initial sale, to final installation he was with me every step of the way and made sure that I was a happy and satisfied customer.

After meeting with 4 solar providers I had researched, I selected Sunny Energy. We financed through them and the whole process was flawless from approval through installation. The Installation subcontractor did break one roof tile but assured me that was the only damage. Our 15kW system is amazing and after the first six months I have only the loan payment for electricity cost. In Arizona, that is a budget saver! My system has had NO issues and puts out a minimum of 20kWs per day over our usage. We ran into one issue at the one year walkthrough on our house, finding out that the subcontractor they used had broken 23 tiles. It is my understanding that this subcontractor was fired shortly after our installation. I contacted Sunny Energy about the problem. They understood, that as a homeowner, I would not have known about the damage if it weren’t for the builder 1 year walkthrough. They worked with me and were pleasant from the start. They repaired all the broken or damaged tiles, and did it within two weeks of contacting them. The main reason I am writing this review is because it is so hard to find a company that does it right and stands behind the product when a problem occurs. If you are looking for a solar system for your house, you would do well to go with Sunny Energy.

We’ve wanted Solar for awhile, and looked around at other companies, but the big draw was that Sunny does everything, other companies out source different parts of the instillation. From our first meeting, we knew when everything was going to happen. You get text or email, and you can also see how things are going via the Sunny Portal. Everyone turned up on time, there was no mess left behind, and I lost no power for any length of time (well I lost power for 10 seconds when a meter was switched out) 😀 I highly recommended this team of Solar experts, and I now feel like I’m doing my part for the Environment also

I went and really researched 6 different companies and narrowed it down to 4 to get a quote. Sunny Energy wasn’t the least or most expensive. What sold me was the knowledge my salesman David had. He explained everything from step 1 to finish,what to expect from my system, the CONFUSING SRP plans. Once I signed Sunny Energy handled everything for us. The HOA approval, permits,inspections,everything! They also have a project tracking site that I checked throughout the process. I did call a couple of times with questions and either got an answer right away or a call back in less than an hour. Installation crew Beta did the install and were fantastic! They even came back on their own to fix an issue in my attic they saw on a picture they took. The final hook-up electrician (Greg? I’m sorryI can’t recall his name) is a perfectionist! He was also at my home when SRP came to do the final inspection. Everything passed the first time, as I expected from watching the crews! We also had a Zoom meeting with Michael and our engineer Maria. They both went over the operation of the system and the app. So now I sit back and watch my electronic bill go down everyday! I couldn’t be happier with my system and Sunny Energy!

I received quotes from 5 different solar companies before choosing Sunny Energy. They weren’t the least expensive or the most expensive. Multiple factors went into me finally choosing Sunny Energy. A friend had referred me to them, and he was happy with his experience. I was impressed with my salesperson David V. He was very knowledgeable and responded to all my emails very quickly. Several of the other companies I was considering lost interest in responding after they sent me a quote. At one point during the sales process, things got a little contentious, but David took responsibility, which meant a lot and we moved forward. After several months, I finally made my decision and chose Sunny. I was quickly contacted by members of the installation team and my portal was set up. There were some unexpected hiccups along the way, but the issues and my concern were promptly addressed by the Sunny team. I guess you can tell more about a company how they respond when things go wrong rather than when everything goes right. I felt every member of the Sunny team really cared about doing the best job possible and they were all pleasant and knowledgeable in their respective duties. After the system was set up and producing, I had my final walk through with Michael M. He did a great job explaining all the components of the systems as well as the do’s and don’ts. He answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed even though I think we went over our allotted time. Melanie was awesome too! There were ups and downs during the process, but after everything was completed and I had time to reflect, I am very pleased with my experience with Sunny Energy and certainly feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.

Sunny Energy is amazing. I really liked the communication throughout the whole process. One day at the very beginning my unit had just been installed. The electricity went out I called my electric company and they said the problem was not due to them. The problem was with the Solar. I called Sunny Energy and they said that they would have someone out to check the Solar ASAP. Well I'll have you know that with in an hour the technician from Sunny Energy was out. He determined that the problem was not with my Solar unit. I called my electric company back again they then informed me that the local transformer was out. This is the kind of personal care and service you can expect from Sunny Energy. I recommend Sunny Energy to any one look to get Solar from a great company. Thank you Sunny Energy.

purchased a home in Anthem AZ in mid Oct 2020. I was inundated with people wanting to give me a solar bid. It was overwhelming. I had no idea who I was talking with. I discovered energysage and loved the way it worked. No more sales pitches and a clean concise platform to get a review bids side by side. They also had subject matter experts to answer any questions concerning the bids, companies and what I was looking at within each bid. Very Helpful! I decided on sunny Energy and they didn’t disappoint. Very patient with me and my concerns and questions. I have to say I was a very nervous about spending that kind of money. I did pay cash as I didn’t want to finance this. Everyone at Sunny energy I dealt with was courteous and professional. Steve Unger gave me a very competitive bid with high end equipment. The communication was very good and when I reached out to them for updates they responded promptly. I liked the concept of Sunny Energy as they don’t sub out any of the work. Everyone is a Sunny Energy employee. The system I had put it was as large as I could put in on a 200 amp service. 42 panels and 2 inverters. The crew they sent had it completed in 4 hours ! Unbelievable and very impressive. Afterwards you get a instructional walkthrough of the system where all questions will be answered. The system is producing very well and so far I’m completely satisfied. Thank you

They reached out to me but provided a real good value proposition. There are good federal incentives but they also added a cherry on top to make the deal too sweet to pass up. It took a while to go from "initial contact" to fully turned on, but that was primarily down to waiting on permits and inspections from the city/power company. The actual install of all the panels and associated hardware took only 3 hours. There were a few quiet points from the company along the way, but the process literally takes months to complete so I felt like that was appropriate. As long as you get everything promised written into your contract they'll take care of you.

I could not be happier with Sunny Energy and my decision to choose them for my solar installation. I researched multiple companies and chose Sunny because they were competitive, used excellent solar panels and inverters, and had great reviews on their post-installation support. I have to say, this company far exceeded my expectations. The sales person was patient and provided far more relevant information than any of their competitors. I am an engineer and I had a LOT of questions. Once I chose them as my installer, the staff kept me informed of next steps, they took care of all the permitting and inspections, and followed up after the installation with a great overview of how I could track the output of my system and how everything works. There was one point during the installation where someone at the bank miskeyed the amount of one of my payments. I called Sunny Energy and the owner went down to their bank and made sure it was fixed that day. I really had not expected this as I was just calling them to verify that I had written the check for the correct amount, but it did save us an evening of concern. I have never gotten this level of support from any organization, period. Bottom line, money well-spent! If I could rate them six stars out of five I would do so.

Take back your power – and we did 😊 We did our research and compared Sunny Energy's pricing and reviews and by far, they were the best! The process was easy from start to finish. Our project manager kept us informed with emails and phone calls when needed. If there was a delay in the project we were notified about the delay and given a new date for when the next step would take place. I really enjoy watching how much energy we are producing. The very user-friendly chart shows us how many trees and CO2 we are saving by using clean energy. We have installed an application on our phone so when we are away, we can still see how much energy we are saving. I believe the materials used are of the highest quality and will last for many years of service. So far all pros and no cons with Sunny Energy solar panels. I’d like to take a minute to reflect on my experience with Sunny Energy. I decided to do a solar system last November and contacted several recommended solar systems. After talking with four of those companies directly I selected Sunny Energy. The sales person was very knowledgeable and recommended a system that none of the others educated me on. It was a system with limited panels but got me the best rates. They were really great at explaining the various electric company rate systems and how I could do the best, without trying to sell me a huge number of panels. I appreciated their honesty. Once I decided they immediately went to work. They were also honest on the timeline. I was kept informed by email and phone calls every step along the way and always made sure I knew what was coming. They always showed up on time and did what was promised. I now have a working system and I am very happy with the system and the company. They even said they would come back and paint the conduit the same color as the roof as per HOA reminder. I think you will like your experience working with Sunny Energy and to this point the equipment is working as promised. I would certainly recommend Sunny Energy to family and friends. If I ever find that a larger system would be advantageous to me I will call Sunny Energy to do that work.

Sunny energy installed a 4.9kw (approx.) on our roof. We taxed them a bit by being naggy customers with specific items out of the norm, and a specific way we wanted our panels arranged. Everything was available from their normal suppliers. They complied and were very gracious. We asked for an inverter with the ability to hook up a battery. They absolutely came through with a wonderful Solar Edge inverter. They installed before year end (Gotta have those tax credits!), as they committed to doing and the system functioned without error. We did have an “oops”. We ordered a load controller to go with our system. We were not told, that for the load controller to work with our heat pump, we would have to swap out a Nest thermostat (Sorry Google) with a Venstar thermostat. The Venstar seems to be of comparable quality, it just would have been nice to know going in. Other than that, we were impressed with them as an organization and the depth and breadth of their knowledge on solar and options. Everyone we spoke with was polite. At one point, a competitor attacked them on facebook in a post I wrote and made false claims. Sunny Energy responded in a mature and respectful manner with facts. I was impressed. Thank you, Sunny Energy. We would recommend you in a heartbeat!

When we decided to move to AZ a few months ago I knew that solar was going to be one thing that was on the top of my list to have installed on our house. Where we came from “MS” the availability of solar is pretty much “0”, mainly due to the amount of shading from trees and absolutely no support of it by the state. I have a background in electronics “pretty much everything with electricity flowing through it” and knew all the basics about solar already. After moving here I started researching what is currently available at the time and then set out to start meeting with companies and getting quotes. We didn’t have to look far, as within a week of moving in we had multiple door-to-door solar sales people knocking, all trying to get our business. All of the door-to-to door people were high pressure sales, trying to get us to purchase / lease as big of a system as they could sell us “hoping we didn’t know better”, those I ushered right out. I met with about a dozen companies including the door-to-door people, and narrowed our search down to three companies, one happen to be Sunny Energy. Our sales person “Mike”, was one of the easiest sales people to deal with, he was laid back, not high pressure, and he didn’t try to over sell us a system that would not be worth our ROI. The other two companies were actually more interested in what they were selling us as both of them immediately wanted us to spend a few thousand $ more, that pretty much cinched the deal with me. All the equipment Sunny Energy is high end equipment too, nothing cheap or short lived about it. The system comes with a 25year warranty on top of it. The REC panels they use are one of the top rated panels on all the review sites, and the Solar Edge converter is one of the most efficient available. We didn’t have to do anything after signing either; Sunny Energy took care of all the permits and paperwork. They designed the system layout for optimum performance “they didn’t just throw it up on the roof not worrying about where the panels were facing”. Their installation crew was even showed up early to do the install and had everything installed in just under three hours “very impressive for the amount of work they did”. After everything was approved and the switches thrown everything worked perfectly, no going back and trying to figure out what went wrong, “actually had a neighbor experience that after going with a different company and they had to come back twice to figure out why the system wasn’t working right”. I really like the Solar Edge monitoring platform; we can watch all of our solar production and see just how much we are producing on a daily basis, anxious to see the impact on the APS bill. Over all I would give Sunny Energy 5 out of 5 stars as they were honest about what we needed, nothing high pressure and they were always happy to answer any question we had about the system. They also kept us fully informed every step of the way from start to finish.

I met with 4 different solar companies before choosing Sunny Energy. The warranties were the best that I saw. The price was 3 to $10,000 less than the other companies. The installation process was very simple and easy. With my calculations, including the tax credits, the system should pay for itself in 8 to 9 years. I do not have to worry about utility company's price increases on an almost yearly basis. So now all I do is write a different name on the check to pay for my electricity usage. We are snowbirds from Wisconsin, so we are certain that APS will be crediting our account in the summer months.

Since we were contemplating a solar system on our home in Casa Grande, AZ, my wife and I attended several presentations by solar equipment providers. Sunny Energy LLC was the most direct and informative and that consequently resulted in a contract. We worked with the designer to get optimum panel placement and the inverter placed appropriately. The construction was performed as designed and a little quicker than anticipated. The solar system was connected to the power grid on April 3, 2018 and has operated flawlessly since. We watch daily production on a phone app and are pleased with the equipment performance. After 10 months of operation we have generated more power than consumed for every month (we were away from the home for the six hot summer months and kept the thermostat at 85F). The system was designed and constructed properly, without a hitch. We highly recommend Sunny Energy LLC.

HIGHLY Recommend Sunny Energy for your residential Solar Panel needs. Living in Arizona, I felt somewhat obligated to at least consider Solar energy for my home’s electrical needs. I went into the venture not knowing if I could afford it or not, AND with an extensive list of questions. I eventually talked with 9 solar companies. Sunny Energy (Rich M) quickly moved to the top of my list due to Rich’s CLEAR explanations and patience in answering my questions. Only one other company even heard out my entire list. Rich researched a few obscure questions I had—and didn’t downplay my interest in knowing about them. Rich did not use the pushy salesman approach that ALL the other companies had employed. I needed time to decide if I wanted to move forward, but had decided on Sunny Energy if I chose to do so. Again, Rich and the staff were patient and not pushy. Once I decided to move forward, I had interactions with Rich and several of Sunny Energy’s staff over the phone. I was a very inquisitive and detail oriented customer, but Sunny Energy’s staff continued to make me comfortable to call them for any reason. I had numerous calls with Taylor and Kristina during this time. Both were courteous, patient and always either had an answer--or found out what the answer was. Excellent customer service. The installation process includes many steps, including inspections and a LOT of coordination. In every case, things were handled professionally. Again, any question I had about timing or clarification on where things stood was handled by Taylor and Sunny’s team in a flawless and courteous manner. If needed my concern was escalated to Chris W, who was the most reasonable upper management person I’ve worked with in years. He entertained any concern I had, and resolved every one of them. This is clearly a company that is committed to excellent customer service. A+

I had a 9.9 Kw system installed in 2017, and I could not have had a better experience. From the initial meeting to the installation it was a seamless process. I was very fortunate that my sales person happened to be the customer service representative (Melanie L). She met with me because the other sales-people were out on calls. Throughout the process every question, call, or text was answered within a few hours. And, I couldn't be happier with the results. I even had them add three additional panels this year (2018). My level billing has been in the $50-60 dollar range for a 2700 sq. ft. home. Currently the production is exceeding the original estimates. At this rate I will see a 100% return on my investment sooner than expected.

The value of solar is to save money, use clean energy, adding value to my home and the 30% tax credit, When done right you can’t go wrong! I have no APS bill I sell my extra energy back to APS for .12 cents per kWh I got just under $10,000 in tax credits and my equipment has a 25 year warranty. I did this with no money out of pocket using sunny energy’s financing option. My payment is 168.00 a month with no aps bill. It is very important to have the right person at the start and would highly recommend you working with Chris H at sunny energy. Just ask for him. he understand how to leverage the tax credits design a system that is right for you and his pricing is fantastic. Joe and Chris are the owners and are local. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Sunny Energy LLC for exceeding my expectations regarding the purchase and installation of my home solar system. When I initially approached Sunny Energy, I had little understanding as to how a solar system worked, the cost of a system, return on investment and all of the other benefits with going solar. We had an excellent sales representative who was very knowledgeable and was able to present me with a very compelling rationale for moving forward with the purchase. Once the contract was done, Sunny Energy took over and professionally managed the entire installation. If I had to select a solar system vendor again, and knowing what I know today, there would be absolutely no hesitation on my part for selecting Sunny Energy.
