They give me a quote, they showed me what the system will do and everything they said turned out well. So I trusted them and I did it. The installation was not as smooth as I like. I think partly because they were dealing with outside vendors, so probably they had a thing in there, but the installer been quite the measure up. But eventually everything worked out well.

After researching the top 5 companies and find all the data I could, I went with Sungevity. Their customer service is above average. We did have some situations with sunlight restriction and they help me with their engineering department, removed a couple of trees and provide the household the marks to the direct sun. And those services they provided with no charge and they also gave me a 100-dollar free home consulting survey, with an energy company here in Connecticut which came in and gave me LED light bulbs and sealed-small leaks in our house

The panels that Sungevity offers no one else offers them, so that set them apart in my mind. I am very satisfied with the company and everything that they have done for me so far. My only complaint is in regards to the company referral fee. I referred my daughter to the service and she ended up having it installed. I still have not received my referral fee from them, and $1,000 is a lot of money.

I did quite a bit of online research and they offered the best program and I want it to be able to monitor it online and that was included. The prepaid lease, it was a better deal than most of other things. They were the ones i ended up picking out. Installation was very good. I would recommend them to anybody!

After doing research, Sungevity seemed to be pretty good. The installation overall is working fine, its good but theres some issues. They drove over my septic system and I had to get it repaired. But the company resolved that issue. With that said, the management team has been great, I like the system so far, it is very good.

So I investigated a few different companies online, but I work for Lowes, and there was a Sungevity rep. there every day. So after talking to them I decided that they would be best. My initial consultation was a little bit rocky to be honest, he was a bit unclear on some details. But once everything got cleared up, installation was very good, and everything else has been great.

Sungevity, when they presented to me, I was very impressed. The design's were superb, the pricing was was just right. Everything was transparent. The installation process was just average. They utilize local contractors, which wasn't what I had expected. And they had to come out and tweek the system 4 or 5 times. Overall though, everything is great.

I had a request on someone from other companies but they were , they showed a lot of willingness to help and to come up with the best installation fee so they were very attentive, very very helpful, very good communication so that's why I hook them up. the installation I'm very satisfied, very good job and the measurements that they gave me were great on in terms of duration and I was very satisfied.

Ive hd the system in my roof since MAY 2019. It wasnt activated till Sept. 2019. Here, we are in November 2019 and the cleanup and repairs are still in process of finishing. Can we get this taken care of? We have done everything in outside, signed what needed to be signed and have Interfaced with all Who identified themselves as in charge and well, THE BALL HAS DROPPED AND COMMUNICATION FIZZLED AGAIN. Hello? Hello?

I like the sales rep and I like the pricing options. Installation went fine, except they broke one of the tiles on my roof and I had to call to get somebody back out and repair it. I thought they did a good job of putting the panels up there and and they were pretty clean.

After selecting Horizon, the original installation was scheduled and completed in a record time. I was very pleased with the efficiency of that process, however their engineering dept completely dropped the ball in completing all of the requirements to get the solar turned on with SDG&E. It was well over 3 months before I could reap the benefits of solar and then after less than a month the system quit producing because of micro inverter failures and mis-engineered electrical installation causing between solar panels and enphase power device that caused ckt breakers to open. Two weeks after reporting the issue, a tech came out and bypassed a breaker on the roof claiming that would fix the issue. the following week it was back to the same issue and 2 weeks later someone was sheduled to come out but do to lack of personnel, it was postponed another week. Finally after about a month & half with minimal solar power, the new tech said it was wire insufficiently to the roof and added additional wire and I finally was fully operational. Unfortunately I talked my daughter into using Horizon and she as well had multiple problems in many of the same areas.

Customer service hasn't got back to us regarding the supposed problems. I think somebody called the other day to say we weren't getting the performance we expected and then somebody called back and said they did see a problem but nobody's gotten back to us about that so customer support is pretty bad so far. It's hard to judge the quality without having others to compare it to but it's not giving us the outcome we want or need. We don't feel like the panels are very high quality for us. They're not working because it's not communicating and sending electricity to the company.

We weren't really informed when a side of the panels was going off when we started generating electricity. We haven't really been told anything so I don't really rate them very highly with customer support. The installation process was quick but we weren't told when they were coming. They just showed up one day. I feel like after the initial guy came knocking on the door and I signed everything, I actually didn't know who to turn to where to get information etc, etc.

The installation was smooth as was the pre-sales experience. Post installation we had some issues. Our paperwork to PG&E was delayed, and we were getting zero feedback from our PM. Also we were never told about the account set up for us at DCU Credit Union and were worried that our identity had been stolen. This should be shared with your customers from day one!!

Solar Spectrum is pretty good at advertising. They are pretty flexible, have financial incentives, and offer a good financing plan. I don't think customer service is good at all. I haven't had any support from them since I emailed for help. The installation process was pretty good. In general there are some problems with the management, who take a really long time to get contracts complete. There is a lot of back and forth and negotiation.

The customer support has been somewhat limited. I don't think they responded well to emails and phone calls. We put a negative review on Yelp, and finally they responded and helped us with problems we had. When we call in, we go straight to voicemail or automatic ticketing/email results with no follow up or feedback. The installation process was good and reasonable. It was timely when they put up the roof, and they did a great job. We are very happy with the installation. The solar panel is a good mix of inverted hardware and panel technology. The system we have seems capable of generating more than 7.6 kilowatts, but that is the limit of the size of the inverted solar panels we installed.

They contacted with a company in my area that worked quickly and efficiently. Communication with Solar Spectrum has been fragmented and frustrating since we purchased the panels. We have had solar panels since April, but took months to have them turned on. Additionally it is now end of July, and I still don't really understand the programs or how to assess production vs use. Getting any information is like pulling teeth.

In my geographical area (Southern CA) Solar Spectrum merged with Horizon Solar based in San Diego. After going through a quick and painless initial sign up process with Solar Spec the project was turned over to Horizon. Their review/inspection process required 3 trips due to gathering insufficient information and instrument failure. After 3 weeks the house was approved for the number of panels I wanted. Installation was scheduled in 10 days or so. City inspection was to happen same day as installation. It didn't. Horizon did not bring all the parts needed to connect system to local utility. 2nd inspection -2 weeks later- failed due to location of solar box. 3rd inspection failed - another 3 weeks - because Horizon never fixed the problem noted in inspection trip #2. Third scheduled inspection - about a month out - the Horizon employee showed up early to 'wait for the inspector'. He knew nothing about the past failed inspections. After checking he determined the problem had not been corrected and he did not have the parts to fix is issue. He did run to the hardware store and was in the process of making the required changes when the city inspector showed up (same inspector each time). Inspector agreed to return before 5pm. He did and passed the install. All in all about 2 1/2 months after installed.
